TCW: A Quiet Retirement

Recommended Posts

<p></p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>NIGHT ONE</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>John Pathlow</strong> © vs. Kashmir Singh w/ Zeus for the TCW All Action Championship</p><p>

<em>American Dojo all the way, fools.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Frankie Perez vs. <strong>Rhino Umaga</strong></p><p>

<em>Perez needs to learn his lesson.</em></p><p> </p><p>

SHOT AT THE TOP MATCH</p><p>

Art Reed vs. Canadian Elemental vs. Champagne Lover vs. <strong>Davis Wayne Newton</strong> w/ Phil Vibert vs. Eddie Chandler w/ Adrian Garcia vs. Rick Law</p><p>

<em>Plenty of contenders are busy, but Reed is the closest challenge to Newton, and I figure it'll be between the two of them. Newton needs it to keep his boasts real, and Reed is less likely to get the push because he's dating the booker's daughter. </em></p><p> </p><p>

TCW'S OWNERSHIP AT STAKE</p><p>

Christian Faith vs. <strong>Joey Minnesota </strong>w/ Phil Vibert </p><p>

<em>Putting Faith over Minnesota is something Minnesota can recover from, but shouldn't have to. Not to mention this kicks off the series with the typical heel lead. 0-1 </em></p><p> </p><p>

Dan DaLay w/ Adrian Garcia vs. <strong>Sean McFly </strong></p><p><em>

If McFly pulls an 80+ match out of DaLay, then I'll be flabbergasted. As is, DaLay's been pushed as good, but not that good.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>British Lions</strong> © w/ Laura Huggins vs. New Wave w/ Blonde Bombshell for the TCW Tag Team Championships </p><p>

<em>British Lions not defending their titles on British soil? Nay, I say to thee, nay! Also, kayfabe wise it'll be hell on them to fly cross continents to wrestle another match, so any short-comings in popularity affecting the match could be pinned on that.</em></p><p> </p><p>

BEST OF SEVEN SERIES - FINAL MATCH</p><p>

Sean Deeley © w/ Laura Huggins vs. <strong>Freddy Huggins</strong> for the TCW International Championship</p><p>

<em><em>Huggins could do with the title victory, and Deeley would be happy enough to see "his" championship upheld with such honor that the two will do a repeat of the Hitman/Bulldog celebration in IRL. </em></em></p><p> </p><p>

TCW'S OWNERSHIP AT STAKE</p><p>

<strong>Eddie Peak</strong> vs. Marc DuBois w/ Phil Vibert</p><p>

<em>It levels things up, and DuBois bounces back from this victory easily enough. Hell, he just might ditch Omega and jump to Elite or go solo! Speaking of which, why didn't Elite mention the women's division and it's championship as well? 1-1</em></p><p> </p><p>

TCW'S OWNERSHIP AT STAKE</p><p>

<strong>Alicia Strong</strong> w/ Phil Vibert vs. Kate Dangerous</p><p>

<em>Keep Strong strong and give Omega the lead once more. 1-2</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The DeColt Family (Alex, Jack, Ricky & Steve) vs. The Stone Family (Duane, Edd, Jeremy & JeriLynn)</strong></p><p>

<em>The Stones have been a major TCW draw for months now. The DeColts haven't. But you don't upset a major family like the DeColts as much as you upset a family like the Stones. So I'm calling a bittersweet draw. </em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Greg Keith</strong> vs. Matthew Keith</p><p>

<em>The good Keith wins, but the evil one either can't take it and leaves to make the victory bittersweet, or comes to his sense and has a group hug with his family in the ring. Redemption ahoy. </em></p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>NIGHT TWO</strong></p></div><p></p><p>

TCW'S OWNERSHIP AT STAKE</p><p>

<strong>Aaron Andrews</strong> vs. Remo Richardson w/ Phil Vibert</p><p>

<em>Richardson finally gets stopped by Aaron Andrews in a major upset. 2-2 </em></p><p> </p><p>

Darkwave vs. <strong>Jack Bruce & Troy Tornado</strong> </p><p>

<em>Really?</em></p><p> </p><p>

TCW'S OWNERSHIP AT STAKE</p><p>

Joey Minnesota w/ Phil Vibert vs.<strong> Sam Keith </strong></p><p>

<em>3-2, as Sam Keith gives TCW the lead all too briefly. </em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>ELITE (Eddie Chandler, Joe Money, & John Maverick) w/ Adrian Garcia</strong> vs. the Disciples of Stone (Acid, Bobby Thomas, & Steve Flash)</p><p>

<em>As much as I love Steve Flash & Acid (Thomas is a bit meh), they're putting over Elite here, easy. </em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>JeriLynn Stone </strong>© vs. Michelle Cox vs. Serena Starr for the TCW Women's Championship</p><p>

<em>JeriLynn isn't done yet with Alica Strong. </em></p><p> </p><p>

Chris Rockwell © vs. <strong>Johnny Bloodstone</strong> for the TCW Hard-Hitting Championship</p><p>

<em>Bloodstone's new "I wrestle until I break down" ethos is going to get amplified with the Hard Hitting Championship around his waist, and he's just going to keep going and going....</em></p><p> </p><p>

CRUISERWEIGHT OPEN ELIMINATION CONTEST</p><p>

American Fox vs. Jacob Jett w/ Adrian Garcia vs. Kirk Jameson vs. Ryan Powell vs. Shingen Miyazaki vs. UK Dragon</p><p>

<em>This is about the same as the Shot-To-The-Top match. Jacob Jett and Kirk Jameson are the most likely contenders to win in this, and despite all of Jameson's subtle pushing, Jett's Elite and Elite are here to be pushed. </em></p><p> </p><p>

TCW'S OWNERSHIP AT STAKE</p><p>

<strong>Davis Wayne Newton </strong>w/ Phil Vibert vs. Jeremy Stone</p><p>

<em>Newton gets put over by Jeremy Stone big time after winning Shot to the Top to tie the series at 3-3. </em></p><p> </p><p>

TCW Tag Team Championships</p><p>

Night One Winners © vs. The Machines London. British Lions. Come on...</p><p> </p><p>

TCW World Heavyweight Championship</p><p>

Wolf Hawkins © w/ Phil Vibert vs. <strong>Tommy Cornell</strong></p><p>

<em>Cornell is taking home the victory, the series and the company in this climactic finish on his home country's soil. 4-3. </em></p>

<p>This is probably going to be much longer than it should be. I'm tempted to start at the beginning and read the whole dynasty straight through. PS may even have the shows posted by the time I'd finish. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> It will be strange (pardon the pun) not to have this dynasty to look forward to.</p><p> </p><p>

I do want to take this opportunity to again publicly thank PS for how well he has treated JeriLynn. Had anyone else asked to include JeriLynn in their diary, I would most likely have said no. But for someone of PS's talent and character to ask me, out of the blue, for her to play a small part in one of the most robust, well written and well booked dynasties in the history of this board -- and I do distinguish between diary and dynasty -- was a compliment of the highest order, one I perhaps did not deserve, but am grateful for regardless. It was my honor to lend her to you. Thank you for returning her better that you found her.</p><p> </p><p>

Now, before I get too weepy and sentimental, let's get to business:</p><p> </p><p>

Prediction Key</p><p>

NIGHT ONE</p><p>

TCW All Action Championship</p><p>

<strong>John Pathlow ©</strong> vs. Kashmir Singh w/ Zeus</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><em>As much as I like Kashmir, I don't think he has been built up enough to justify taking the belt this soon into his TCW run.</em></strong></p><p> </p><p>

Frankie Perez vs. <strong>Rhino Umaga</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em><strong>This would be fun to watch, but it will be as stiff as hell. Honestly, I just like Umaga better.</strong></em></p><p> </p><p>

SHOT AT THE TOP MATCH</p><p>

Art Reed vs. Canadian Elemental vs. Champagne Lover vs. <strong>Davis Wayne Newton w/ Phil Vibert</strong> vs. Eddie Chandler w/ Adrian Garcia vs. Rick Law</p><p> </p><p>

<em><strong>First, the push Davis is getting practically demands that he win. Second, winning here allows the possibility of losing to Jeremy, which may be necessary to set up the Cornell/Hawkins grand finale.</strong></em></p><p> </p><p>

TCW'S OWNERSHIP AT STAKE</p><p>

Christian Faith vs. <strong>Joey Minnesota w/ Phil Vibert</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em><strong>Joey has much more career ahead of him, and also allows for the early smug Omega celebration.</strong></em></p><p> </p><p>

Dan DaLay w/ Adrian Garcia vs. <strong>Sean McFly</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em><strong>This is probably the only loss ELITE will take over the course of the next two nights.</strong></em></p><p> </p><p>

TCW Tag Team Championships</p><p>

<strong>British Lions © w/ Laura Huggins</strong> vs. New Wave w/ Blonde Bombshell</p><p> </p><p>

<em><strong>I think you have to give the two guys that have elevated the tagteam division to Main Event status the reward of defending the titles in their home country.</strong></em></p><p> </p><p>

BEST OF SEVEN SERIES - FINAL MATCH</p><p>

TCW International Championship</p><p>

Sean Deeley © w/ Laura Huggins vs.<strong> Freddy Huggins</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em><strong>Sean has had a fine run with the International title, and I wonder there might not be some family angle played out here; whether that is Laura and Freddy reconciling, or Laura turning on Sean, I'm not sure -- either works.</strong></em></p><p> </p><p>

TCW'S OWNERSHIP AT STAKE</p><p>

Eddie Peak vs. <em><strong>Marc DuBois w/ Phil Vibert</strong></em></p><p><em><strong>

</strong></em></p><p>

<em><strong>Again, I look at long-term upside.</strong></em></p><p> </p><p>

TCW'S OWNERSHIP AT STAKE</p><p>

<strong>Alicia Strong w/ Phil Vibert</strong> vs. Kate Dangerous</p><p> </p><p>

<em><strong>Alicia has to win here: she is clearly positioned as not only the next challenger for the Women's title, but also is the most logical choice to take the belt off of JeriLynn.</strong></em></p><p> </p><p>

The DeColt Family (Alex, Jack, Ricky & Steve) vs. The Stone Family (Duane, Edd, Jeremy & JeriLynn)</p><p> </p><p>

<em><strong>Lord, there are so many ways this could go. But if I ignore the fact that this dynasty is ending, this becomes a great setup for a longer term Stone/DeColt feud, and can also lay the groundwork for the Ricky/JeriLynn relationship. I'd love to see a spot where Ricky and JeriLynn are tagged in, and one or the other can't bring themselves to go at it, at least initially. Or they put on a show so evenly matched that they can't help but respect each other at the end of it. I will go with some form of No Contest for this one.</strong></em></p><p><em><strong> </strong></em></p><p><em><strong>

(Although, if by some miracle PS has been hiding the fact that he was able to get Dan and he debuts here, I will mark out like nobody's business.)</strong></em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Greg Keith</strong> vs. Matthew Keith</p><p> </p><p>

<em><strong>Major feud blowoff and reconciliation of the Keith Brothers. Send the crowd home happy.</strong></em></p><p> </p><p>

NIGHT TWO</p><p>

TCW'S OWNERSHIP AT STAKE</p><p>

<strong>Aaron Andrews</strong> vs. Remo Richardson w/ Phil Vibert</p><p> </p><p>

<em><strong>You did notice that I have TCW down 0-3 at this point, yes? I think this is the match that puts Aaron fimly into the main event picutre.</strong></em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Darkwave</strong> vs. Jack Bruce & Troy Tornado</p><p> </p><p>

<em><strong>I have an odd feeling there's a swerve coming here.</strong></em></p><p> </p><p>

TCW'S OWNERSHIP AT STAKE</p><p>

Joey Minnesota w/ Phil Vibert vs. <strong>Sam Keith</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em><strong>I think this hurts Joey less than jobbing to Faith would.</strong></em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>ELITE (Eddie Chandler, Joe Money, & John Maverick) w/ Adrian Garcia</strong> vs. the Disciples of Stone (Acid, Bobby Thomas, & Steve Flash)</p><p> </p><p>

<em><strong>Can you say 'filler match'? I knew you could.</strong></em></p><p> </p><p>

TCW Women's Championship - ONE FALL TO THE FINISH, SPECIAL ENFORCER GINA CARANO</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>JeriLynn Stone ©</strong> vs. Michelle Cox vs. Serena Starr</p><p> </p><p>

<em><strong>JeriLynn/Alicia has to happen, and it's better for JeriLynn to drop the belt to Alicia than to either of these two. Then JeriLynn can focus on the Stone/DeColt storyline and can still be in the spotlight while others who need the title as a feud justification/chance to be elevated by working with Alicia can use it.</strong></em></p><p> </p><p>

TCW Hard-Hitting Championship - NO HOLDS BARRED MATCH</p><p>

Chris Rockwell © vs. <strong>Johnny Bloodstone</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em><strong>This is an interesting matchup, a former hothead and a relapsed hothead going at it for a title practically designed for hotheads.</strong></em></p><p><em><strong> </strong></em></p><p><em><strong>

I'm amazed that no one has speculated on who Bloodstone is calling in. There's an obvious choice: Harrison Hash, who has a strong friendship with Bloodstone (which I believe is canonical to the 08 data as well as the 10 data). But obvious choices are boring. We are in London after all; so Cliff Wilson would give the local crowd a real pop. If it's not either of those two, well, it could be any NOTBPW uppercarder that hasn't been poached yet: Damien Carville, Owen Love (Dear God I would love to see them in this tag division), maybe Tim Westybrook, maybe R.K. Hayes (but that's a real stretch). But someone is going to be in Johnny's corner, and that will be the difference.</strong></em></p><p> </p><p>

CRUISERWEIGHT OPEN ELIMINATION CONTEST</p><p>

American Fox vs. <strong>Jacob Jett w/ Adrian Garcia</strong> vs. Kirk Jameson vs. Ryan Powell vs. Shingen Miyazaki vs. UK Dragon</p><p> </p><p>

<em><strong>Because he's ELITE, and he's AMAZING.</strong></em></p><p> </p><p>

TCW'S OWNERSHIP AT STAKE</p><p>

Davis Wayne Newton w/ Phil Vibert vs. <strong>Jeremy Stone</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em><strong>Davis already has his title shot, and a year to get better and peak his momentum at just the right time. Besides, we have a comeback to maintain here.</strong></em></p><p><em><strong>

</strong></em></p><p>

TCW Tag Team Championships</p><p>

Night One Winners © vs. <strong>The Machines</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em><strong>On one hand, you don't piss off the crowd by letting native sons make a triumphant return just to let them get beat. But Beeker makes a great point in just how much heat John and Brent would get going over the Lions in London, especially if it were anything other than clean.</strong></em></p><p> </p><p>

TCW World Heavyweight Championship</p><p>

Wolf Hawkins © w/ Phil Vibert vs. <strong>Tommy Cornell</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em><strong>Because if anything else happens, London riots.</strong></em></p>

<p>NIGHT ONE</p><p>

TCW All Action Championship</p><p>

John Pathlow © vs. <strong>Kashmir Singh w/ Zeus</strong></p><p>

-The big man in the corner making the difference. Also, first title change.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Frankie Perez</strong> vs. Rhino Umaga</p><p>

-I feel perez has more of a furure.</p><p> </p><p>

SHOT AT THE TOP MATCH</p><p>

Art Reed vs. Canadian Elemental vs. Champagne Lover vs. <strong>Davis Wayne Newton w/ Phil Vibert</strong> vs. Eddie Chandler w/ Adrian Garcia vs. Rick Law</p><p>

-Newton keeps the first part of his promise. Reed is probably his closest cometition.</p><p> </p><p>

TCW'S OWNERSHIP AT STAKE</p><p>

Christian Faith vs. <strong>Joey Minnesota w/ Phil Vibert</strong></p><p>

-0/1 For team Vibert. Also, good night for them so far.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Dan DaLay w/ Adrian Garcia</strong> vs. Sean McFly</p><p>

-This SHOULDN'T happen, but if ELITE is being set up as the next new threat, their monster enforcer must be kept strong.</p><p> </p><p>

TCW Tag Team Championships</p><p>

<strong>British Lions © w/ Laura Huggins</strong> vs. New Wave w/ Blonde Bombshell</p><p>

-Ofcourse they're gonna be in a match on night two in London. Though the idea one of the earlier prediction-posters had, about setting up a three-way by going with a draw here, would be cool, I seem to recall that in pro wrestling usually a draw in a champuionship match just means the champion retains...</p><p> </p><p>

BEST OF SEVEN SERIES - FINAL MATCH</p><p>

TCW International Championship</p><p>

Sean Deeley © w/ Laura Huggins vs.<strong> Freddy Huggins</strong></p><p>

-Another title changes hands. Sean had a good run, but needs to move on. IIRC there was some history between him and ELITE, so he's likely to get involved in that. Ending this with a show of respect and a face turn for Huggins would be nice...</p><p> </p><p>

TCW'S OWNERSHIP AT STAKE</p><p>

<strong>Eddie Peak</strong> vs. Marc DuBois w/ Phil Vibert</p><p>

-1/1..</p><p> </p><p>

TCW'S OWNERSHIP AT STAKE</p><p>

<strong>Alicia Strong w/ Phil Vibert</strong> vs. Kate Dangerous</p><p>

-1/2 for the bad guys. Alicia needs to stay in the women's title picture.</p><p> </p><p>

The DeColt Family (Alex, Jack, Ricky & Steve) vs. The Stone Family (Duane, Edd, Jeremy & JeriLynn)</p><p>

-Probably gonna be a very fun match, but impossible to call a winner.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Greg Keith</strong> vs. Matthew Keith</p><p>

-Can't see a heel win here, since that's not, traditionally, a decisive end to a wrestling feud.. So I'm gambling on an upset face win, possibly after a botched intervention from Matt's cronies. Ends the feud, so both can go their seperate ways. But I could also see a draw and a reconciliation... In that case, though, I'd have to pick a winner for the semi-main, since I can't see the night ending with back-to-back draws.</p><p> </p><p>

NIGHT TWO</p><p>

TCW'S OWNERSHIP AT STAKE</p><p>

Aaron Andrews vs. <strong>Remo Richardson w/ Phil Vibert</strong></p><p>

-1/3 for the heels. Really can't see Aaron overcome the power difference. What I COULD see is Aaron taking a dive... Or some other kind of dramatic ending. I don't think we ever learned where Aaron got the ten mil to even BE on team TCW... We might learn now...</p><p> </p><p>

Darkwave vs. <strong>Jack Bruce & Troy Tornado</strong></p><p>

-Clean win for the faces would end this storyline, make four interesting wrestlers available for other stuff.</p><p> </p><p>

TCW'S OWNERSHIP AT STAKE</p><p>

Joey Minnesota w/ Phil Vibert vs.<strong> Sam Keith</strong></p><p>

-2/3. The old lion keeps the hope alive...</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>ELITE (Eddie Chandler, Joe Money, & John Maverick) w/ Adrian Garcia</strong> vs. the Disciples of Stone (Acid, Bobby Thomas, & Steve Flash)</p><p>

-The real team goes over the assorted stuff.</p><p> </p><p>

TCW Women's Championship - ONE FALL TO THE FINISH, SPECIAL ENFORCER GINA CARANO</p><p>

JeriLynn Stone © vs. Michelle Cox vs. <strong>Serena Starr</strong></p><p>

-Could just as well be the other Leading Light. Stone vs Strong WILL happen, but not right away... Another title changes hands.</p><p> </p><p>

TCW Hard-Hitting Championship - NO HOLDS BARRED MATCH</p><p>

Chris Rockwell © vs.<strong> Johnny Bloodstone</strong></p><p>

-Bloodstone could do great things with this title. And I don't see him in the picture for the big one anyway soon. So another title changes hands.</p><p> </p><p>

CRUISERWEIGHT OPEN ELIMINATION CONTEST</p><p>

American Fox vs. Jacob Jett w/ Adrian Garcia vs. Kirk Jameson vs. Ryan Powell vs. <strong>Shingen Miyazaki</strong> vs. UK Dragon</p><p>

-Keeping Team Kobra relevant.</p><p> </p><p>

TCW'S OWNERSHIP AT STAKE</p><p>

Davis Wayne Newton w/ Phil Vibert vs.<strong> Jeremy Stone</strong></p><p>

-3/3. The veterans keeping TCW alive.</p><p> </p><p>

TCW Tag Team Championships</p><p>

<strong>Night One Winners</strong> © vs. The Machines</p><p>

-Together with my last pick, this'll mean the Lions will be the only ones to retain their titles. Thus winning a nice amount of change from the bet that was made a few weeks back too. Whilst I could see getting nova heat on a team going OVER the Lions here, I feel that if THAT was the plan, the order of their opponents would've been reversed, since the New Wave are the actual HEEL team outta the two. </p><p> </p><p>

TCW World Heavyweight Championship</p><p>

Wolf Hawkins © w/ Phil Vibert vs. <strong>Tommy Cornell</strong></p><p>

-Okay, so, you're a booker, and you like your job... Your boss, the greatest wrestler in the world, has gone to great lenghts to book a HUGE coming-home event for his sucessful promotion. Does suggesting he put someone over in the main event sound like a wise carreer choice?</p>

Prediction Key

NIGHT ONE

TCW All Action Championship

John Pathlow © vs. Kashmir Singh w/ Zeus

KOBRA get their revenge.

Frankie Perez vs. Rhino Umaga

Frankie needs this. Rhino, while talented, is kind of around to make up the numbers, whereas Frankie hasn't had much to do since the tag split with DWN.

SHOT AT THE TOP MATCH

Art Reed vs. Canadian Elemental vs. Champagne Lover vs. Davis Wayne Newton w/ Phil Vibert vs. Eddie Chandler w/ Adrian Garcia vs. Rick Law

He has to go this far.

TCW'S OWNERSHIP AT STAKE

Christian Faith vs. Joey Minnesota w/ Phil Vibert

The second-best Vibert guy goes against Cornell's shakiest guy. You knew Phil would take the lead early anyway.

Dan DaLay w/ Adrian Garcia vs. Sean McFly

There is no profit in putting DaLay over McFly, especially in a match with limited implications.

TCW Tag Team Championships

British Lions © w/ Laura Huggins vs. New Wave w/ Blonde Bombshell

Yeah, the Lions have to go into Day 2 with the title.

BEST OF SEVEN SERIES - FINAL MATCH

TCW International Championship

Sean Deeley © w/ Laura Huggins vs. Freddy Huggins

Agreed -- Freddy takes it, Laura and Freddy reconcile, happy ending for everyone.

TCW'S OWNERSHIP AT STAKE

Eddie Peak vs. Marc DuBois w/ Phil Vibert

Talented as he is, DuBois has not been booked to look unbeatable by any means.

TCW'S OWNERSHIP AT STAKE

Alicia Strong w/ Phil Vibert vs. Kate Dangerous

Strong has been booked to look unbeatable. Kate has not.

The DeColt Family (Alex, Jack, Ricky & Steve) vs. The Stone Family (Duane, Edd, Jeremy & JeriLynn)

The Stones are one veteran who's already a legend, one midcard quasi-comedy act, a woman and a guy who's not even in the company. The DeColts are four guys who are new to TCW, need overness, and need to make a name. I'm not saying they win this decisively, but they win this.

Greg Keith vs. Matthew Keith

This is the real blowoff, so the face has to win unless the heel clearly outclasses him. Keith doesn't outclass Keith.

NIGHT TWO

TCW'S OWNERSHIP AT STAKE

Aaron Andrews vs. Remo Richardson w/ Phil Vibert

Andrews is Tommy's other protege. Remo has been a damn good big guy, but he's never looked like championship material... Tommy seems to like to give the titles to the athletic middleweights, not the big guys. Not that this is a title, but still. 2-2.

Darkwave vs. Jack Bruce & Troy Tornado

This is almost a squash, no? The leaders of two feuding stables take out the supporting members of one stable? Maybe if it was 2-on-3...

TCW'S OWNERSHIP AT STAKE

Joey Minnesota w/ Phil Vibert vs. Sam Keith

Joey gets another easy draw. 3-2 Vibert.

ELITE (Eddie Chandler, Joe Money, & John Maverick) w/ Adrian Garcia vs. the Disciples of Stone (Acid, Bobby Thomas, & Steve Flash)

Looks like a squash here too... are "The Disciples of Stone" even a thing now?

TCW Women's Championship - ONE FALL TO THE FINISH, SPECIAL ENFORCER GINA CARANO

JeriLynn Stone © vs. Michelle Cox vs. Serena Starr

I just haven't been convinced by Starr and Cox. Either the storyline is "Stone can win a 2-on-1", or it's "Cox and Starr's vanity prevents them from working together as a team."

TCW Hard-Hitting Championship - NO HOLDS BARRED MATCH

Chris Rockwell © vs. Johnny Bloodstone

Bloodstone looks likely to build on the "technical wizard who sometimes goes berserk and kicks your ass" pattern we saw from him last match. he's mastered his anger, but not the way Rockwell has to -- he's going to make it work for him rather than controlling it. And he's better than Rockwell anyway.

CRUISERWEIGHT OPEN ELIMINATION CONTEST

American Fox vs. Jacob Jett w/ Adrian Garcia vs. Kirk Jameson vs. Ryan Powell vs. Shingen Miyazaki vs. UK Dragon

I don't know, some kind of KOBRA subplot thing? Jacob and Kirk also have shots. I wish I could say Fox, but I don't see him contending.

TCW'S OWNERSHIP AT STAKE

Davis Wayne Newton w/ Phil Vibert vs. Jeremy Stone

Stone comes through to tie it up again.

TCW Tag Team Championships

Night One Winners © vs. The Machines

The way I see it, the Lions are British, but they're not Cornell. They could lose at home. And that could put a moment of doubt into everyone -- if they can lose, why can't he?

TCW World Heavyweight Championship

Wolf Hawkins © w/ Phil Vibert vs. Tommy Cornell

Let's not overthink this. Cornell needs this one. And I don't think anyone wants the Phil Vibert's TCW storyline.

Picture the scene...

"Aaron Andrews! The PPV is done, and now you must tell us all: where did you get that money? What did you have to do to get it? Did you do a deal with the Devil? Did Richard Eisen give you this money? DID YOU HAVE TO PERFORM INAPPROPRIATE SEXUAL SERVICES FOR RICHARD GERE?"

"Actually, this Aussie guy just called me up and offered me the money. He'd watched some TCW and said it was a 'bloody good laugh, mate'. I think he was drunk."

In another kind of diary, "Aaron Andrews Gets Abruptly Saddled With A Drunk Australian Used Car Salesman For A Manager" could give me a good year's worth of angles.
