Fury of the Storm starts to play as the credits fade, and the champion emerges, microphone in hand.

“Tonight,” he begins, “originally, it was meant to be a rematch to start the show. My boys Randall and Billy Jack, face to face with the Easy Riders.

“Considering what happened on Friday, that's not going to be going down tonight. Maybe soon. Maybe later. Maybe...” He sighs. “Maybe never. Randall's not looking in a good way, see?”

He manages a small smile following that, however. “Still, they need a match tonight. So here we go.

“Painful Procedure keeps going. Tonight, Killer, your boys face the Young Guns, and I promise you this isn't going to look pretty when we're done.”

Easy Riders w/ Karen Killer vs. The Young Guns

The Riders continue to look nasty as hell in the ring, though the Guns have speed and experience on their side, evading a number of their opponents' tricks by teamwork and sheer agility.

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/BillyJackShearer.jpg

And after a few minutes, Billy Jack Shearer's there, tearing straight past Killer and her tyre iron to crash Billy Hopper out of the ring.

Nonetheless, the Riders seem, ultimately, to achieve the upper hand, when Harry Allen tries to take Peter Hopper out with the Gunslinger's Revenge, only to be caught, boosted into the air and taken down with that powerbomb/neckbreaker combination the Riders have been developing.

Chris Rockwell vs. Rocky Golden

Golden has the upper hand in the opening moments through sheer power, but Rockwell sidesteps a big boot, grabs the arm, wrenches and starts working on his shoulder.

Rocky promptly shifts gear, trying a southpaw approach – tricky as it is to switch that way, especially when you're not used to it – and starts to fight back, giving Rockwell a problem or two as the match progresses.

The tide turns again as Chris sweeps his legs out from under him, grabbing a hold and getting back to work on the injured arm. He swivels and positions himself for the Furusawa Armbar, then -

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/KoshiroIno.jpg

Koshiro Ino is at ringside, and Chris Rockwell catches sight of him. His hold loosens, and Golden recovers, grabbing him and literally rising to stand with Rockwell in the Rack as Ino watches -

And Rockwell yanks at the injured arm, breaking the hold, rolling down his back and rolling Golden up, his feet on the ropes, to score the pin.

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/TommyCornell_alt5.jpg

Tommy Cornell sits in comfort within the Syndicate's locker room. He smiles unpleasantly into the camera.

“Sam,” he begins. “Sam, Sam, Sam...

“Didn't you get it? The free ride is over, Sam.

“I brought you in. I let you have one hell of a contract. It's going to cost me to fire you – but right now, you've made it worthwhile.

“But I was willing to do that, Sam. I was willing to pay you over the odds, and give your worthless kids a break.

“These things are meant to have a price, Sam. I didn't exactly ask you for much. Just watch our backs. Keep our belts where they're meant to be.

“I didn't exactly see that happen with Wolf, Sam, and yet the ride continued.

“And then, next time around, you dropped all the balls because you were too busy trying to get into the game.

“I can't fire you until I take that belt away from you. It's going to cost me, but it's worth it to get you out of here.

“Maybe I can't fire you yet, but I sure as hell don't have to ever deal with your kids.”

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/FrankiePerez.jpg vs. http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/SamKeith.jpg

Frankie Perez vs. Sam Keith

There's definitely a communication issue with these two, making for a slightly slower match than either man usually delivers, it is, nonetheless, pretty enjoyable. Frankie uses it as a showcase for his development over the past few months; Keith wrestles as the wily veteran he is, retrieving the advantage from Perez not by spectacular moves but by simple – if obscure – tricks.

It all builds to the finish, where the P-Clutch is countered into the Proton Lock, and Frankie, ultimately, has to concede.

Edd Stone vs. Koshiro Ino w/ Baroness Emily

Edd begins proceedings by offering Ino a Black Cobra mask, which is not received well by the International Champion.

So Edd tries again, his expression genuinely friendly and helpful, as Azaria dissolves into laughter on commentary.

Ino promptly punches Edd in the stomach, whips him to the ropes, and takes his head off with a roaring elbow. A sloppy cover follows; Edd Matrixes out, leaps onto the ropes, and backflips into a DDT before rolling out of the ring to glad-hand the fans, a broad grin on his face.

Ino rolls out after him and Edd promptly scrambles back into the ring, snagging the fallen Black Cobra mask and putting it on while staying clear of the International Champion. Ino finally catches up and is met with a superkick; he staggers backward and Edd lunges to capitalise, running straight into a discus punch from the bigger man.

Somehow they get back into the ring and chaos begins to ensue. Ino goes for the powerbomb, becoming the latest man to learn that YOU CAN'T POWERBOMB EDD STONE, but the resultant Party's Over doesn't finish off the International Champion, and nor does the subsequent standing shooting star press.

In the end, Edd overshoots on a top rope elbow, crashing and burning before getting back up into a Kobra's Bite – either man, perhaps, could win here but by staying focused, Koshiro Ino gets the win on this occasion.

Andrews & Minnesota vs. Miyazaki & Ota

Hardly likely to live up to the prior match in crowd involvement, this one does its best by foregoing the shenanigans. Shingen Miyazaki is fighting with a new fire at the moment, throwing Andrews in particular around the ring and, on one memorable occasion, slipping clear of Minnesota's shoulders as he sets up the Minnesota Spiral and clamping down a front facelock choke as he did so.

Fortunately for Minnesota, Andrews came in hard with a boot to Miyazaki's face, easily breaking it. Ota promptly came in, getting the Ninja Strike on Andrews only to be thrown out of the ring by Minnesota – who turned around straight into a punch from Miyazaki that staggered him.

Ultimately it was Ota who lay unmoving at the end, having been sunk with a successful Empire Spiral.

Mayhem Midden came down to ringside following the commercial, and walking with him was Troy Tornado, now dressed to compete with the belt around his waist.

“Contracts,” Midden starts. “Contracts, contracts, contracts.” He shakes his head.

“Soon, we're going to have to decide who faces Troy here at Hotter Than Hell. So far, we've got two challengers-”

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/TommyCornell_alt5.jpghttp://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/WolfHawkins_alt3.jpghttp://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/TysonBaine_nachtfalter16.jpg

Breakin' The Law starts playing, which can only mean that Tommy Cornell is on his way to the ring – and on his way he is, flanked by Wolf Hawkins and Tyson Baine.

“I count one,” he tells Midden, and nods across to Hawkins.

“Really?” the commissioner smiles. “Seems to me-”

“Brent will be retracting that challenge,” Tommy says crisply. Tyson Baine nods, grinning, for emphasis.

“Let's check that, before you count chickens,” Midden says. “Brent-”

“No,” Cornell says flatly. “Brent Hill is not going to be in the championship match.”

Midden gives him a long, hard stare. “You and I,” he says eventually, “are going to butt heads, Tommy, and you're going to find out my head is a lot harder than yours.”

Cornell smiles malevolently. “Fortunately, I have a stand-in.”

Baine steps forward; Tornado dives forward to intercept, and Wolf Hawkins lunges at Midden who's suddenly open.

Midden promptly headbutts Hawkins, who drops straight away. Baine hurls Tornado away from him and Cornell starts in on the assault on the Board's Representative while his monstrous ally goes toward the champion.

Troy rolls out of the ring, with Baine following, and gets enough breathing space to try the Star Maker – which doesn't faze Baine at all. A chase around the ring ensues, during which Cornell's assault on Midden intensifies.

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/BrentHill_alt2.jpg

Brent Hill races down as, diving back into the ring, Troy unfastens his belt, hitting the ropes to smash Baine with a belt-assisted Star Maker – this one actually toppling the monster.

Cornell has Midden set up for the Rough Ride, and Hill chop blocks him, bringing him down from behind.

Hill and Tornado stand opposite each other for a few moments, regarding each other. Hill abruptly boots Tornado in the gut, grabs both arms, and sinks him with his team-mate's Ammo Dump.

Midden, slowly recovering, grabs the microphone. “So you're in for Hotter Than Hell?” he asks, and Hill simply grins.

The Machines vs. RDJ & Danny Fonzarelli

A good, solid brawl, though nothing greatly special – RDJ and Fonzarelli seem from the off to be on the back foot against a fired up, enthusiastic team who work together much more fluently.

They fight back well, but the problem is just that they're fighting two men who work together instinctively, and Anderson dropkicks Johnson off the apron while Hill is setting up to splash Fonzarelli with the King of the Hill, guaranteeing the pinfall.

Tommy Cornell, Tyson Baine & Wolf Hawkins

Quite simply, the fans loved this. Rapidly degenerating into a brawl, Sam Sparrow tries to keep order – unsuccessfully – for nearly twenty minutes, toward the end of which two other figures emerge.

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/SamKeith.jpg

First, Sam Keith hops the guardrail, yanking a bloodied Cornell out of the ring and clamping down the Proton Lock on the outside.

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/EddStone_alt13.jpg

In response, Edd Stone sprints down to the ring, back in his Syndicate suit but still wearing the Black Cobra mask, and barely has he broken the hold when Troy Tornado slingshots out of the ring onto him. Seeing this, Sparrow throws up his hands, stopping the match in disgust.

That doesn't stop the fight, nowhere near. Everyone not called Edd Stone eventually finds themselves back in the ring, still heartily involved in the brawl. Cornell manages to apply the Guilt Trip to Keith as the show gets ready to close – to find Art Reed breaking that up with a dropkick to the back of the Syndicate leader's head – and then, hastily, Azaria signs off...

Very very cool moment with Brent Hill.

They're such a good team that it takes some cajones to push them as singles stars, even with their considerable skill.

I'm more than a little nervous about it, I'll admit, though I don't plan on breaking them up as allies, even if there are going to be periods where they focus on their singles careers as well as times when they focus on teaming.

I feel like we've now reached the point where the tag division is strong enough to let the Machines take a foot out of it...

I don't think focusing on Hill's singles career is going to present too many problems.. ;)

Another fine writeup sir. Nice build to Cornell/Keith as well. Just enough to wet the lips but no more. Enjoying this very much.

Thank you kindly, sir.

A note to every TCW fan reading: ReapeR has done another excellent TCW Championship belt, currently on display in his thread.

How excellent do I think this belt is?

Excellent enough that my October-January plans have just rewritten themselves around it and another belt in the offing.

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/book_open-2.jpg

Friday 19th August 2008

Showtime is in about three hours, and I've got ahead of me a morale issue I wasn't expecting.

Merle O'Curle, the Irish half of the British Lions, doesn't care for the team name.

Actually, that's not true. Merle doesn't care for the team name as something he's part of. I'd thought that following the ceasefire negotiations last decade, the Irish-British dispute had calmed down. Seems not.

I hadn't really thought about it – last time I was in the UK was the 1970s, when I was in Bolton learning my craft, and sure, it was a major thing then. But you don't hear about it and you assume it's gone away.

I told him I'd think of something, but I'm honestly not sure what. Tommy hadn't objected to the team name – whether he didn't realise or simply wasn't worried, I'm not sure. JD Morgan's comment was “Look on the bright side, Merle – no one this side of the pond is going to notice.”

Eric Tyler comes over as I finish with Merle for now.

“So,” he says. “This feud is with Rick, is it?” He's smiling, but I take his point. So far we really have built it by skit, not by interaction.

I say the only thing I can think of to divert the conversation. “You think you can make a hardcore match work as our main event?”

He hesitates for a moment before finally nodding. “We've been talking it over,” he says. “It's not going to be pretty, but I figure we'll do better than last week.”

I smile. “That's what I needed to know, Eric. This one won't finish for a while yet.”

“Still teaching.” He shrugs. “Six months ago I was main eventing Total Wrestling, Harry...”

It's true; he was. And frankly, he'd almost still be in a position to do so if he'd been feuding with guys like Law (and, say, Golden). But with his work having been with the youngsters, he hasn't been able to keep his name up there with our bigger names – nor has he retained the perception as someone at the top, not when losing to Aaron Andrews in order to establish him.

I'm very aware that in using Eric to establish Aaron and Freddy, I've effectively capped how high he can climb in the next year or so – and Eric is six years older than I was when I retired. This is likely his last run, and barring something surprising, he's been cut off from the top.

For someone like Eric, this has to be as frustrating as it gets.

Half of being a booker is ego management. It's issue deflection. “Still teaching,” I confirm. “But if things go the way I see them going, Eric, gold is going to get involved. Sooner or later.”

“On whose side?” He's interested.

“A title match-” I begin.

“Is a title match,” we finish together. Eric manages a smile; he knows the old saying, knows I came up with it, and knows why.

I worked damn hard to avoid ever winning a championship. The gimmick followed me from territory to territory, from country to country, and brought with it an easy story, one anyone could relate to, one that a booker could fall back on.

I don't recommend it to anyone else, but now that I'm retired I'm still glad I did it. Because, when it comes to telling someone that winning or losing a championship doesn't matter, no one else can have the moral high ground that I do.

No one else who came all the way without a title did so because they always argued against it.

Eric knows that the trump card has been played. “Alright,” he says. “What gold?”

I tell him. If it doesn't play out, I'll tell you, some months down the line.

A sneak preview, perhaps, of events to transpire at Hotter Than Hell will be available to loyal patrons of Club Absinthe in Hawaii and the thousands watching from home this Friday, as the School of Tradition look to continue their winning ways ahead of the tag team title match, facing off against Narato & The Kid in our opener.

A major Japanese tag team will be reunited following that, as the Disrespected set out to move forward with a match against WLW's Acid Dragon - Acid and new arrival, allied to JD Morgan, UK Dragon. Will experience win out, or can passion prevail?

The Syndicate send their monster into action in the next match, taking on another WLW favourite in Hell Monkey. Against Tyson Baine, Monkey undoubtedly has a major challenge to face up to.

And another Syndicate contest follows, as Wolf Hawkins will step into the ring against the first graduate of TCW's fast track training program, Aaron Andrews. As the program was started following Hawkins' success in one-on-one training, this really is a contest to see which training method works best...

Danny Fonzarelli will also step into the ring on the show, taking on another shining light of young talent, Frankie Perez. Can Fonzie slow Perez' seemingly inevitable rise to the top, or does it all grind to a halt here?

And the main event. Once again, Rick Law has made the main event. Once again, Rick Law is too injured to compete.

What we know thus far is that it will be a Hardcore match reminiscent of DaVE, and that Eric Tyler will be going up against Law's hand-picked representative.

When we learn more, you'll hear it here and see it on Badge of Honor.

Prediction Key:

Narato & The Kid vs. School of Tradition w/ Laura Huggins

The School get to bully some more lower carders

Acid Dragon w/ Laura Huggins vs. The Disrespected

Acid Dragon have more talent, but The Disrespected do have a more focused purpose for being in TCW right now.

Hell Monkey vs. Tyson Baine

Hell Monkey won't back down easily, but in the end the Syndicates new enforcer should get the win

Aaron Andrews vs. Wolf Hawkins

Andrews may have shed his young jobber tag but he won't be going over Hawkins anytime soon

Danny Fonzarelli vs. Frankie Perez

This could honestly go either way, but I see Perez pulling out the win here

HARDCORE MATCH

Eric Tyler w/ Laura Huggins vs. ????

JOBBERS!

Acid Dragon w/ Laura Huggins vs. The Disrespected

Disposable All-Action guys versus guys with a programme. The Disrespected need some momentum, so that their feud can go out with a bang rather than a whimper.

Hell Monkey vs. Tyson Baine

Ouch. Sorry, Monkey Man.

Aaron Andrews vs. Wolf Hawkins

Tommy won't be happy if Hawkins loses to a mid-carder on the B-show.

Danny Fonzarelli vs. Frankie Perez

The one match that's given me pause thus far. Fonzie's a good-natured guy, and willing to job contentedly until his skills improve. Still, he might get some momentum from somewhere...

HARDCORE MATCH

Eric Tyler w/ Laura Huggins vs. ????

Unless Rick law proves to be working through injury, I think not. Tyler will build momentum, cheating to win, until Rick Law is the only thing that can stop him.

In all seriousness, I am kinda curious as to who Law picks. He has very selfishly booked himself in the main event of the last 15 or so BoH shows, so seeing who else he'd give it to could let us know who makes up his clique.. :p

For this to be literally true, Law needs to either also be Acid or Art Reed and one of Freddy Huggins, Pistol Pete Hall, Bairei Yasujiro, and Steve Flash. ;)

But it's very true that he really is Badge of Honor's signature guy at this point, and his lack of competition has left a gap.

I'm afraid it's not Tana, but I think he'll do well.

Considering how comparatively little-known three of these four men are, this went down a treat – but then, Badge of Honor fans probably like the spotlight feature, and hey, we're in a bar named after a notoriously potent drink.

Early indications are that Sean Deeley is far and away the standout performer of the match, despite his reasonably inattentive attitude to the contest – he seemed to spend a few moments at a time glancing across for approval, not to Bryant but to Huggins. It didn't hurt his success rate, however – the Cannonball Kid was put away, comparatively quickly, with the Front Choke Lock.

Acid Dragon vs. The Disrespected

A comparative letdown, all four men nonetheless did their best – and, of course, UK Dragon had effectively never been heard of before this contest.

Relatively short, it was just about long enough to let everyone show what they could do before the Motion Censor put UK Dragon down for the win.

A pre-taped interview hosted by Jasmine Saunders follows promptly. Her guests are the up-and-coming tag team of Kingman & Alexander.

“Hi,” she tells the camera, before turning back to the team. “I guess I should get right to the point, guys; it's not long since you beat the Machines, and when you look at the wins they've notched up since, that's no mean feat. But last week, despite a strong performance, you ran into quite the stumbling block...”

She holds the microphone out and Kingman & Alexander exchange glances, neither of them looking comfortable at the invitation to speak. Ultimately, Alexander takes it, to the evident delight of his hometown crowd.

“Yeah,” he says. “We ran into American Buffalo. And you can't pin a man if you can't put him on his back.

“So we're going to have to learn. Just like we'll have to learn how to outwrestle Sean Deeley, or learn to coordinate as well as the New Wave...

“We'll do it, though. Those titles, sooner or later, are going to be ours. And first up... we learn to handle American Buffalo.”

Hell Monkey vs. Tyson Baine

What people expected, going into this contest, was for Hell Monkey to hit back hard with a little of Baine's brawling style as well as showcasing his spectacular airborne talents.

What no one expected was for Baine to try and repay Monkey in kind, but following a Hades Bomb he does what seemed unnecessary – climbing to the second rope, he sails off with a massive elbow drop.

Entertaining as the contest was, that's likely the main thing people will take from it.

Aaron Andrews vs. Wolf Hawkins

Everyone knows Wolf Hawkins is one of the men tipped for the top in the near future. By 2010, this may be the match that people point to as showing that Aaron Andrews was ready to step up onto the same level.

Simply put, these two combine in one of the better matches aired on Badge of Honor to date. No storyline. No longstanding rivalry. No reason to expect this one to be out of the ordinary – but they put together, nonetheless, something which closely resembles an edited highlight reel of a Cornell/RDJ contest, and it seems to catch the Club Absinthe crowd's attention.

Hawkins looks particularly strong, kicking out of Andrews' spinebuster before the count of two and, of course, responding with the Full Moon Rising to finish it at the ten minute mark, but both men should be proud of the skill and effort displayed here.

Once again, the footage on the big screen is of Horatio and Edd's time in the editing suite.

“So,” Dangerous begins. “Some of your other potential challenges...” He draws a deep breath. “Let's take a look at someone with a slightly different style.

“Art Reed.”

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/ArtReed.jpg

Edd visibly winces, just before the footage comes up. “OK,” he says. “One, my brother trained him, so you know he's good. Two... Sam Keith taught him that move of his, so I don't know if Tommy's going to be happy with me if I wrestle him.”

“He's still a potential challenger,” Dangerous says mildly. “And if memory serves, he actually holds a submission victory over you.”

“I... yeah,” Edd says quietly. “But the belt wasn't on the line. Different story if it was.

“Who else we got?”

Dangerous smiles. “Well, since you ask...”

The next piece of footage showcases half of the current Tag Team Champions; Guide. It's focused on the Guided Missile.

“He's busy, isn't he?” Edd asks.

“Probably,” Horatio says. “But... well, this is time to tell the viewers.

“At Hotter than Hell, Mayhem Midden is giving the choice to you. Head over to TCW.com – Edd Stone's next opponent for the TCW All Action Championship will be selected according to the highest number of votes received.

“And better yet – if two or more competitors tie for the top spot, it'll be a multi-man match. Edd, I believe you originally suggested this?”

“Oh, sure,” Stone replies immediately. “I just wasn't expecting you to come up with so many candidates who'd piss off Tommy...”

Danny Fonzarelli vs. Frankie Perez

Brawling seems to be the name of the game here, though it remains an entertaining brawl. Fonzarelli puts his heart into it, Perez seems motivated for a while by survival more than victory. After Fonzarelli misses a clothesline and the fight spills out of the ring, however, Perez seems to get interested again.

He does his best to trash Fonzarelli but the latter soon recovers, pulling back into the lead. A Japanese high knee puts Perez down and Fonzarelli clamps the P-Clutch on, but while Eugene Williams checks that the hold is legal, Perez grabs a handful of hair and tugs, using the illegal distraction to reverse the hold, applying a P-Clutch of his own. Fonzarelli fights for a while, but eventually taps out.

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/RickLaw.jpg

Once again, Rick Law joins his show's fans live by satellite feed.

“Hi there,” he smiles. “Now, I hate to blow this out of proportion, but I'm once again using my privilege to ensure that Eric Tyler and his School of Tradition get shown up for what they-”

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/EricTyler.jpghttp://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/LauraCatherineHuggins.jpg

Bad To The Bone interrupts Law's train of thought, and Eric Tyler, accompanied as ever by Laura Huggins, comes out to confront him.

“What?” Tyler demands. “What exactly have I done that's got you so riled up? This is wrestling, Rick – you ought to expect to take a few kicks along the way.”

“Oh, that's not it,” Law frowns, shaking his head. “Eric, you're the one who's been calling me out. And you're the one who had your thugs make sure I can't wrestle.

“Which I'm guessing is so you can tell everyone you don't have to show me respect. Like you told everyone Aaron Andrews didn't.

“What gets me, Eric, isn't that. What gets me is your hypocrisy.”

Tyler snorts. “Please. Neither of you have been here long. You ain't earned-”

“Not that,” Law interrupts. “Eric, last week I arranged for you and your buddies to face the trainers of the current generation. Three people who've been at the tops of four promotions. Three people in the later stages of their careers, who've done it all – three people who've earned respect.

“And you showed them none.”

Tyler shrugs.

“So,” Law continues. “Tonight we change up the pace, Eric. Tonight we go hardcore.

“And I've asked the master of hardcore to explain to you what respect is.”

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/EddiePeak.jpg

Crashing Around You starts to play. Tyler and Huggins' faces tell the story, and the fans start to react, but Law confirms it anyway. “Tonight, Eric, you've got a hardcore match against the Great White Shark himself, the Hardcore Assassin Eddie Peak!”

There's a pause. “You may consider this... police brutality.”

Eddie Peak vs. Eric Tyler w/ Laura Huggins

Police brutality indeed. Peak lays into Tyler with a will from the off, with the veteran playing a defensive game, keeping back, keeping cagey, using every weapon he can find.

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/FreddyHuggins.jpg

Freddy Huggins shows up ringside early on, but doesn't get involved – until, that is, Laura Huggins attempts a low blow on Peak, who no-sells it and turns to face her.

http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/mm75/trenchcoatbrigand/TCW/AaronAndrews.jpg

At that point, Huggins launches himself at Peak, throwing punch after punch and setting up for the Huggins Kiss – but Aaron Andrews smashes into him from behind just before he can hit it, and Peak recovers.

By this stage Tyler has a chair, but as he sets up Peak kicks it back into his face. Picking it up, he looks at it curiously, then places it across Tyler's chest – and smashes Freddy Huggins onto the chair with a Peak of Perfection!

The cover comes moments later, and to no one's real surprise, Tyler doesn't kick out.

Yeah hey everyone...so I didn't bother to watch BoH last night but I helped the ratings by reading the report of http://www.smarkreport.com, I'm skimmed through most of it but read THAT TYSON BAINE DID A TOP ROPE ELBOW DROP??? I'm not bothered having to watch the entire BoH repeat on Sunday so does anyone know if its one youtube?

Also I bet that poll they're doing is rigged so that either that Bingo Hall jobber Reed or that Hell Monkey no-name wins it so they can Force push them on us without any build. Its bad enough Doug Peak and Tyler Durden were the ME for that last BoH...I mean who even likes them?

Hmm...I'm interesting believing I'm using this diary to vent my frustrations with smarks, but I can't put my finger on why...

I also most took the plunge the other day and decided to play as TCW...this diary has brought guys like AA alive for me; but I'm just not brave enough to take on the monster of TCW yet. I've played as countless regional feds and begged and begged for TV yet I just can't bare to be responsible so many people getting on TV and having as great a direction as you can give them Phantom.

Good old Monkey. It's safe to say he'll get his due sooner or later.

Juggling this many people is awkward, yeah, but usually so when I'm looking at the last two midcard matches to fill on a given show and trying to work out who I can afford, right now, to job who'll work well with so-and-so. (I'm not gonna take the repetitive booking penalty off when this diary moves to 2010, I'm really not. Forces me to actually get creative with feuds.)

As far as getting people direction goes, I honestly started planning this diary with two things: the idea of a Keith/Cornell war that would create a new anti-Syndicate and a page with everyone's name on it, to which I started assigning theme songs.

Between working out what I wanted the songs to say about people, and working out T-shirt slogans for everyone, I ended up with pretty clear ideas about their characters.

From there, it's mostly been about finding the stories.
