captainlou
Mark Calaway was born in Houston, Texas and after watching WCCW on TV when he was a kid, he decided that he wanted to be a wrestler rather than a basketball player after having to make the choice at the request of his college basketball coach. Mark has contacted two promotions in looking for work, Houston Championship Wrestling and Pacific Northwest Wrestling. I will be following the hirings and firings of the "Big Three" (WWF, MACW, AWA) and a few of the wrestlers. The list of wrestlers will be the two biggies of the '80s, Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan, plus my all-time fav (Superstar Billy Graham) and one of D.Boon's favs (The Spoiler). If any of you readers would like me to follow another wrestler please let me know.

D. Boons Ghost
I love following the results almost as much as the individual careers in the D.O.T.T.-inspired diaries. So many of those matches are 'Main Events Anywhere'. Or at least matches between those I would be more than happy to watch as many times as possible. ... Like Iron Mike Sharpe defeated Tiger Jeet Singh to win the NWA Canadian Television title, for example. Er... I'm very happy to see this taking shape once again, Cap. Good luck getting Jardine's best pupil to his rightful place.

captainlou
D'oh! Stupid Boston Crab! No worries though, I'm sure Mean Mark will get his revenge once he builds a little experience. Just couldn't get anything going in either matches. It was a little surprising though that the better match, grade wise, was against Hector Guerrero. I guess that's why we're midcarders in HCW and I'm only an opener in the higher level PNW. I'm banking that the better matches, and more wins, will come as Mean Mark starts to improve and gains more experience.

Yeah, but then i think Hector, being more experienced, can probably "carry" a match better than Colt....I wouldn't sweat it though, even Ric Flair probably didn't do so good his few bunch of times out either lol. Funny thing I found myself is,the booking AI can often be realistic....you get put against folks you don't have much of a shot at and "put them over",but often if you stick with it and manage some decent matches, eventually you get "pushed" and the AI starts feeding you people you can dominate so you can build up some wins. captainlou
I guess that I'll be jobbing for probably the first month, then, and possibly sneak in a win or two.

I imagine so,if can keep managing to keep your grades up (around C or D) you'll get a little push and be fed some jobbers eventually.
