ACCBiggz
Middleweights are likely, The Crow is already positioning for a spot on the show. And Hughes has turned down a fight against Koscheck, Fitch, and Swick. And I doubt he leaves his family to coach again.
Dustin
Coaches: Don’t care. LHW: Scott Lighty Jamal Patterson Phil Davis Lew Polley Daniel Puder (pretty sure he’s HW though) Glover Teixeira Ricardo Romero Aaron Rosa Finale: Davis vs Patterson Winner: Davis WW: Tyron Woodley Ben Askren Shamar Bailey Paul Bradley Anthony Lapsley Pat Healy Ryan Ford Dustin Winterhalt Finale: Woodley vs Askren Winner: Woodley Hornbuckle just needs to go straight to the UFC. Other than this, I would much rather see a TUF for the WEC or another comeback season. And Hughes has turned down a fight against Koscheck, Fitch, and Swick. And I doubt he leaves his family to coach again. Who does he really expect to fight then GSP? LOL
ACCBiggz
Just because he turned down those fights doesn't necessarily mean he wants a fight like GSP. In fact, he was vocal about wanting a rematch with Thiago Alves. And as soon as he loses he'll probably want the third fight with Dennis Hallman who the UFC just picked back up. ACCBiggz
Randy would not fight Forrest considering he is his trainer. As I assume you are trying to match-up coaches to fight one another.
Dustin
I would actually like to see real trainers start coaching TUF to stop putting big fights on hold. No teams, just 16 fighters come in with their own coaches.
wrestlingfan1
I'd love for them to have a season with 16 people who have no training what so ever and pick the two "best of the best" (either current or former) UFC stars to coach them and see what kind of "hidden talent" is out there. I know there would be major issues with liability and what not but I think it would make for a very interesting season. Especially if the two coaches were say... GSP and A. Silva! MrCanada
UFC.com has officially announced tryouts for the Ultimate Fighter 11, confirming rumors from earlier in the week. The show will be for middleweight and light heavyweight fighters. Tryouts will take place on October 26th in Los Angeles, two days after UFC 104. Fighters must be 21 and have a professional fight record. You can download the application here. That said..... Likely coaches will be from different divisions since UFC is avoiding having guys train guys they might have to fight later. So I'm guessing the coaches might be heavyweights, Welterweights, or Lightweights. IF THE COACHES ARE HEAVYWEIGHTS: Frank Mir vs. Randy Couture IF THE COACHES ARE WELTERWEIGHTS:Georges St-Pierre vs. Jon Fitch IF THE CAOACHES ARE LIGHTWEIGHTS: Kenny Florian vs. Diego Sanchez (assuming he losses to BJ) FANTASY COACHES: Georges St-Pierre vs. Anderson Silva Some fighters I think may appear: --Mario Miranda (9-0 Light Heavyweight. If he's on the show, I'll pick him to win it right now.) --Justin Torrey (6-0 Middleweight. Might be tied down in Bellator, has been fighting at Welterweight) --Andrews Nakahara (2-1 Middleweight. Might be tied down in Dream.) --Alexandre Moreno (8-2 Middleweight) --Daniel Puder (8-0 Heavyweight, needs to cut.) --Phil Davis (2-0 Light Heavyeight, NCAA champion) --Andre Santos (17-2 Middleweight. Would be my pick at MW) --Court McGee (8-1 Middleweight. Could be a LHW)
