TNA Wrestling 2002: Jeff's Journey

Recommended Posts

April 1st 2002

Jerry Jarrett: Son you sure you want to go through with this?

Me: Yes dad I’m sure. Ever since WCW went out of business last year I fell like the U.S needs a choice of who to watch.

Jerry: But look Vince took down a multi million dollar company we got half of what they did.

Me: I know, I’m not saying were going to start a war with them right now. I’m saying that these young guys need a place to call home and not be over shadowed by all of the wrestlers in WWF.

Jerry: Alright, we can go to some Indy shows tomorrow and see who we can find.

Me: Sounds good.

OCC: Well this is my first Diary on these boards so I hope you all like it. It takes place in April 2002 when TNA was first formed. I’m Jeff Jarrett and will be taking a look at the making of the company from the beginning show to the last. Rosters are not done, when starting the game there were no people on the roster so it’s from scratch. I will not be using pics because of other things I got going on and the time consuming, but I will make sure my shows are up to standard and hope you like it.

So I have signed some workers! Those workers are AJ Styles, Homicide, Soma Joe, Jimmy Jacobs, Ekmo Fato, Rey Mysterio Jr., and a few more I think we have enough to start promoting my first show. Well first I’m going to try to get a PPV deal. I will be on Jimmy Kimble to talk about my new wrestling company and also promote a little bit.</p>

OCC: I need some opinions on how to do the match write ups. I want to do them as if Jeff was watching them from backstage but would that be all right with all of you? Also I will do results from WWF and any news in the wrestling world that is important. I won’t to know if you all are liking the concept of this being in Jeff’s view from the beginning? I will have the Jimmy Kimble appearance up really soon.

Chris Hero V. The American Dragon for the TNA X Division

Two future stars glad to have them with us to start the company

Me and the veteran Sabu plan on showing all of the young kids how its done.

It will be interesting to compare this to my TNA journey... and also see if you piss away $4,000,000 of your $5,000,000 as quickly as I did. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

TNA on PPV

Attendance 4,000

Well I’m backstage for my first TNA show and I’m up for the first segment

Mike Tenay: Welcome to the first ever show for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. I’m Mike Tenay here with Larry Zbyszko.

Larry: Well tonight marks wrestling history as TNA will be the greatest company ever, mark my words.

Mike: Easy there Larry, we start tonight off with the owner Jeff Jarrett.

Angle

I come out to the ring to a mixed reaction they only remember me as the ******* in WCW.

Me: Well well well we all meet again! Don’t sound so excited. Tonight we will redefine the meaning of Sports Entertainment. We have great wrestling big guys and little guys. Plus people who can entertain you on the mic. So with out any more waiting lets get this started.

I walk towards the ropes when music hits. It’s The Pimp Daddy (Formally known as The Godfather)

Pimp Daddy: Well Mr. Jarrett how’s it going player? As you know I’m no longer a wrestler and now a manger so pimp I want to introduce you to my new client and future TNA Champion “Prime Time” Elix Skipper.

The young guy comes out looks at me and grabs the mic.

Elix: You better hope that you don’t win that title tonight ya dig or I’ll be all over you like black on rice.

Pimp Daddy: Ya heard em player watch your back.

That was a good segment in my opinion Mr. Skipper really looked good out there I’d give it a C-

Mike: Well next we have Chris Hero V. American Dragon

Match 1

Chris Hero V. American Dragon

Ok these two start off really good with a bunch of fast paced action. Dragon sends Hero to the corner and hits what looks to be a modified Stinger Splash. Hero’s looking good out there and I might have to work out some plans to use him more. Dragon fights back though a climbs the turnbuckle and hit’s a Flying DDT followed by an Arms Across America and gets Hero to tap. This was a really good match for these two and Dragon gets to be the first X Division Champion. This looks to be a C+ match with the crowed reaction.

Larry: Next is Alex Wright V. AJ Styles

Match 2

AJ Styles V. Alex Wright

Wright gets instant heat with the fans. Most of the fans don’t know who AJ is but I think they will after this match. These to have great flying skills as it show in the first few minutes of the match. Wright looks strong as he does a couple of quick submissions to weaken AJ. AJ bounces back with a modified Spinning Neckbrecker fro the top rope for the win. I give this a B- as this has by far been the best match so far.

CW Anderson V. Chris Parks

CW Anders shows how good he is with a big body slam followed by a leg drop. CW then lefts him up and Parks hit’s a clothesline by CW acts like it didn’t hurt him, which looked very believable from were I am. CW then sets him up and hits him with a power bomb pin and gets the win. This was set up to be a longer match but the fans noticed that the lack of flow between the men were bring the match down making it a E+

CW grabs a mic

CW: Were coming!

Then he holds up three fingers.

Mike: next is the main event as Jeff Jarrett takes on Sabu

Main Event

Sabu V. Jeff Jarrett

I start off slow as Sabu uses his speed to his advantage. As the match goes on it is pretty much even but that changes about seven minutes into the match as I start to pull away using by strength a agility. Sabu has been busted open when his head hit the turnbuckle post which was not supposed to happen. After this we have to hurry up because his cut is pretty bad. I hit a Stroke and pin him for the win. This gets a C

After Sabu leaves the ring Elix Skipper comes out with The Pimp Daddy

Pimp Daddy: We told ya pimp now you have to deal with Prime Time

Skipper runs down to the ring and starts beating on me I fight back but from behind Pimp Daddy hits me in the head with his cane as the show goes off the air. B

All together the show was awesome for it to be are first show. We are Regional so that why the low buy rate which was a 0.2. Overall a give this show a D+

Well after last nights match I need to call and check up on Sabu.

Sabu: Hello

Me: Hey man how ya doing?

Sabu: I’ve been worse haha. But that was a hell of a first show.

Me: I thought so too; it was a shame that Chris and CW couldn’t have a better match.

Sabu: Yea but AJ and Alex made up for that those two guys are future legends.

Me: Yea and I’m glad we have them on roster. But anyway just wanted to check up on ya.

Sabu: Thanks man but I’m fine. I think your forgetting I used to work for ECW.

Me: Haha well I guess I did there for a minute. I got to go talk to you later.

i just had a power surge and all of my saved games have been erased. So I guess this mean that I will have to end this which really sucks. I might start working on another diary but I dont know right now I dont want to seem like one of those guys who post a new diary every few months like I've seen on some other forums, but thanks for the support guys and I hate to let you all down:(

The saved game it self got deleted alnog with alot of my other saved games. I really dont know how it did though because its never happened before.
