If it wasn't because I have such a short fuse with annoying people I would keep them on the line for a while. It's pretty funny too. Me: "Not interested." Them: "I can appreciate that, but..." Me: "Obviously you can't if you keep talking! NOT INTERESTED." Do people actually fall for these scams? Really? I don't play the market (and certainly not in these times...never invest money you can't afford to part with). But getting past that glaring obstacle...WHY would buy stock over the phone, through an UNSOLICITED service? I was this close to telling the guy "I've seen Boiler Room, I know how this ends!"
