Day 2 should be great, that's a great looking card already and some of those matches should deliver big time. :D And I hope I'm not the only one thinking that the British Strong Style trio vs The Shield would be one of the greatest matches ever... and even greater if it were held in the UK. :D

My personal highlight of the entire tournament is the crowd going through their various chants for Gibson...

"Stand up, if you hate Gibson"

"Sit down, if you hate Gibson"

"Shoes up, if you have Gibson"

The last one obviously being accompanied by a decent section of the crowd holding up their shoes. I don't know why Gibson has such crowd heat, but he must have been killling it pre-these shows to get reactions like that. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Ali & Murphy put on a clinic on 205 Live. It could have easily main evented Takeover or any show around the world but they can't even make it on to a WWE PPV <img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

I just recently got back to watching wrestling, and have chosen to start watching Smackdown again since it's likely more palatable than 3 hour RAWs. I've been mostly keeping internet free with my wrestling and while it's nice to just enjoy being a fan, there's a couple things that have been making the cynical smart mark in me try to scream out for attention. So I've turned here to get these thoughts out as I don't feel I'm the only one feeling this way.

1. Why the hell is Carmella constantly getting the better of Asuka? What the hell is this? Who the hell is booking this? Carmella could barely be taken seriously as the briefcase holder, now she's easily beating down someone who was undefeated for two years?

First off, I have major issues with Carmella as champ. She is not someone who I can take seriously with her rip off Iggy Azelea theme that was outdated three years ago. At best, she's should be a cowardly heel. Someone who talks a huge game but flees at the first sign of Asuka (or any other babyface for that matter). The fact that they're taking this gimmick and trying to push her as a serious bad ass just makes everyone look poorly. Her reign isn't getting over from what I can hear, and Asuka seems much worse off than when she started. They clearly botched this and don't know where to go.

And the fact that she couldn't even been Ellsworth clean and it resulted in a double count out/rematch? Screams of stalling. There is no way other than Asuka winning at Extreme Rules in which she comes out looking good out of this feud. And knowing the WWE and their loving heel reigns, I don't see that happening unfortunately.

2. Where the hell is the Bar? How do you consistently leave off two of the more talented workers on your roster in a brand that is starving for star power? They don't even need to be in a dedicated storyline they can just float from match to match. Hell, when the USO's came out last week to challenge Team Hell No, I was scratching my head wondering where the Bar was. This was the perfect opportunity for them to show up instead of an awkwardly shoehorned face vs face match. Is one of them injured?

3. Becky's "hot steak." Where is this going? She's beaten all four of the brands jobber talents in recent weeks, but where does this culminate? Does she then challenge Carmella and take the title (meaning Asuka's push is dead). I'm wondering where she goes from here, honestly.

Or in other words, the usual WWE booking.

Which is nonsense. They don't even need to have an active feud to still be working on tapings. There's no reason they couldn't have taken the pin fall for Bryan and Kane. And it probably would have been a much better match with higher star power. If you're worried about them losing momentum that way just have them job out two locals in a minute next week. Rinse and repeat.

Do these people know nothing of TEW booking?

I can't...this is just hilarious to me. This is from another site, the topic is Dana Warrior (I cannot believe I just typed that nonsense) talking about how her late husband's ghost battle the evil entities that were haunting her house. I guess Dana is just as crazy as her husband was...

WWE ambassador Dana Warrior took to her Total Warriors podcast last evening for a special Friday the 13th edition of her show. Warrior took part in a LIVE tarot reading & shared some details about a haunted house she and her late husband, The Ultimate Warrior, shared in New Mexico.

According to Dana Warrior the home featured a portal for disembodied spirits who would appear to her children. While some of the encounters were alarming, Warrior claimed that the spirits were mostly kept at bay by The Ultimate Warrior’s overwhelming presence.

After The Ultimate Warrior passed away in 2014, Dana describes the home becoming darker and more terrifying,

“It seemed like darker energies came. There were just smells and rattling and really really scary stuff. This one night in particular it was in the middle of the night….and you started hearing these banging noises. I can’t even describe it: knocking and banging, like whirring past you. I can’t even describe them because I’ve never heard them before. It sounded like furniture flying and crashing into one another and the girls were wide awake. I was wide awake….there was this unspoken knowledge that you didn’t move and didn’t speak and you could feel Warrior. You could feel and you could smell him….you could smell him in the house and he was fighting and he was battling and it went on and on and on….when I woke up in the morning I expected to see my whole hallway in shambles and there was not a thing out of place; but, a sense of his triumph. I knew in that moment that whatever had been there bad, he had battled like he never battled before; but, he was not gonna let anything bad touch his girls. I bet you that is his greatest victory from parts unknown.”

Read more at http://www.mandatory.com/wrestlezone/news/975141-dana-warrior-opens-up-about-posthumous-visit-from-the-ultimate-warrior#5G7vlfGRBHweufVv.99

Extreme Rules was disappointing but with a few tweaks it could have been better.

The Good: Kickoff matches were solid, B Team and Nakamura won titles, Owens beat Strowman by being tossed off the cage, Lashley beat Reigns, Rousey looked great again, the last 2 matches were good.

The Bad: The first 2 matches could have been cut and saved for Raw, Carmella beat Asuka again, only 2 matches were even remotely extreme. Might as well combine Extreme Rules, TLC and HIAC next year.

They do it all the time. One week someone will get the crap beaten out of them and keep kicking out. The next they'll get hit from behind with a forearm and be "knocked out". It's like Jeff Hardy. He'll fly of Titantrons, go through tables and win matches, yet at Extreme Rules he gets kicked in the nuts, a knee to the face and pinned. Being pre-determined is no excuse for lazy, nonsensical booking. Now if Nakamura had also used the ropes as leverage, I might have been more inclined to suspend my belief in the quick win - of if it had been against someone who hadn't used an extreme style for most of his career.

I must say for the most part I enjoyed Extreme Rules, then I watched my first Raw In I don't know how long and realised again why I never watch Raw! 3 hours of absolute garbage. It felt as though there was (maybe) 30% wrestling, 30% shenanigans and 40% advertising and recaps!

Extreme Rules wasn't great, but it was ok imo. I enjoyed some of the matches and the 3h40 tag wasn't too painful to endure. Main event was probably the best one, though I'd say it's average quality PPV-wise.

There was the KO spot as well to make it memorable. Lashley vs Reigns was a snorefest as expected, but what are you gonna do? <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/rolleyes.png.4b097f4fbbe99ce5bcd5efbc1b773ed6.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
