milamber
Better than Fight For the Fallen, which it should be because WWE have TV and house shows to better build chemistry and feuds. Luckily this show wasn't let down by the usual poor booking and feud-continuing finishes. The only advantages AEW have right now is hype and a feeling of freshness. Cesaro vs Black, Smackdown Tag Titles, Styles vs Ricochet and Seth & Becky vs Lacey & Corbin (to my shock) were great. Even the Taker match was watchable. The show could have been more extreme, though. Daniel Bryan with another A+ promo:

milamber
I have no thoughts on Brock as Champ yet. Depends on how they use him and who his opponents are. It was inevitable he would be one of the Champions heading into the USA/Fox split I just didn't think it would happen until SummerSlam. Greylocke
<p>Looks like they may be building towards Trent Seven vs Walter. I'm down with that, in light of lacking really credible choices at the moment with Mastiff occupied with Gallus. Definitely a step up from Walter vs Banks.</p><p> </p><p> Ilja Dragunov is still funny as hell to watch.</p>

milamber
I watched 205 Live for the first time in months because I heard Gallagher vs Gable II was great. It was.
shawn michaels
Steen is apparently going unscripted. You know, as Wrestling should be. Guess Vince finally got tired of getting his back against the ropes for too long. I expect Kevin to be the first of several before it again becomes a normal scenario in WWE. With Paul and Eric creating stuff and Vince filtering it, this might turn out interesting in the upcoming months. Let's see where it goes. milamber
Raw was terrible. Even if I cared about the legends enough to get nostalgic it still would have been the worst show of the year. Only bits I liked were Bray and Maverick.
milamber
Smackdown did some good legwork for SummerSlam. Good Bray segment to set up a match with Finn. Kofi/Orton segment was fire. Shawn Michaels being used better than any of the Legends were on Raw. Even the payoff in the main event for the Shane crap was good with the crowd hot for KO and Roman teaming up. milamber
Gulak vs Swerve on 205 Live was great. The crowd were hotter for it than they were for Gallagher/Gable last week. Too much wrestling to catch up on right now but 205 Live has drawn me back in with their banger main events.
Jaysin
One of the Uso's got another DUI. WWE should send them to rehab if they can't get their drinking in order.
Greylocke
Mad props to NXT UK somehow making me to enjoy a Kassius Ohno match for the first time in my life, something that even the old NXT under Dusty's regime wasn't able to do. Kudos for that.

Kudos for that. He works well as the know-it-all veteran claiming he's the best British wrestler, dominating flashier opponents then getting caught and losing. The women's division is arguably the best outside of Japan and Pro Wrestling EVE right now so I'm enjoying that part of NXT UK the most. The tag division is lacking, though. What do you think of Imperium? I loved the visual of those 3 guys standing guard outside the ring while WALTER powerbombed Trent over and over again. Love Imperium, but would have preferred a delayed introduction to them. Have Walter just kill people (except Dunne I guess) and as he starts to slip or be in trouble, Imperium is introduced. Ad it was he won and a few weeks later he had a brute squad - He IS a brute squad! At least it didn't seem to take long.
milamber
After this Becky promo they have to bring Sasha back at SummerSlam or next week's Raw. Could be the biggest pop in months with the right crowd. https://twitter.com/theBLHW/status/1159844249900183553
