<p>Haven't seen it yet, but this is just perfectly logical booking. Some online commenters were already talking about Wrestlemania, but... there's a PPV next month and the month after that, too, you know? Bryan gets something to do and they can see if it moves the needle to have him officially the top babyface, and Triple H can finally go back to doing what he's actually good at. Seriously, how long has he been a babyface? It feels like it's been forever, and he's never been good at it. Remember when he was the babyface that was getting people to cheer Randy Orton of all people at Wrestlemania?</p><p> </p><p>

Also, never forget: Evolution is a Mystery.

Batista vs. Brock. Wrestlemania. You know you'd pay a billion dollars for it.</p>

Right decision to do it tonight heel authority doesn't excite me too much but to take it away straight away just makes me back bryan more <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

That's awesome! Cattle Mutilation would've been even cooler, but obviously Cena wasn't going to tap.</p>

I know that I have a tendency to complain about things, but what an awesome show. Lesnar/Punk was incredible. Sandow/Rhodes in my opinion was a great match. Del Rio even had a decent match, which may have more to do with Christian then anything else. I've stated before that I think Randy Orton is uber boring, I say that as a precursor to my next statements. Cena/Bryan was great, the ending was perfect. Awesome showing by both guys. The Triple H turn was genius, as was having Orton cash in the MITB. The lack of a response to anything Orton does should be a concern. The crowd went silent. Just like the MITB ladder match he won, which had the worst ending ever to a ladder match. I had a tendency to tune out of WWE when Orton was hot as a heel, so I guess I'm hoping it gets better. All in all, great freaking show.

triple h's turn i think over shadowed ortons a little bit bur my gosh....this was a insane ppv. In one match they made the next face of the company in danial and they made the next super heel in hhh and orton. Orton needs a mouth piece and that is hhh. Evolution anyone? although with the actions of ric flair sunday it might be without him.

Gotta love professional wrestling. Orton has RKO'd Triple H's wife. Triple H broke into Orton's house with a sledge hammer and gets arrested by Derrick Bateman in a cop uniform.

Still, they can be buddy buddy.

I don't hate it. I just don't like it. I'm still going to watch.

<p>Quick summary of my thoughts.</p><p> </p><p>

Ambrose/RVD: The Shield are now the Hounds of Just-the-Pre-Show. Very solid match though, these two should continue what they're doing.</p><p> </p><p>

Wyatt/Kane: I actually really enjoyed this match for what it was. The ending was kind of expected, but cool. I liked what happened afterwards as well.</p><p> </p><p>

Rhodes/Sandow: I am a HUGE Sandow fan. He's my favorite thing going right now, but the finish allows him to move on. I was hoping he would cash in tonight, because not many people would have expected it.</p><p> </p><p>

Christian/ADR: Quietly a great match. Man, Christian tells a story every time he goes out. Both of these guys are so damn solid.</p><p> </p><p>

Brie/Natalya: Breaking Bad was on so I skipped this one.</p><p> </p><p>

Punk/Lesnar: Missed the early parts of this one too, but I kept tuning back in during BrBa commercials. Luckily it was over before this match really got going because it was phenomenal and I want to watch it again very soon.</p><p> </p><p>

Mixed Tag: It did was it was supposed to do. Kaitlyn kinda needs to go away IMO.</p><p> </p><p>

Cena/Bryan: Fantastic match. Both guys looked great. In an era where the Internet pretty much thinks of everything, the WWE still found a way to go a little against common intelligence. It was a good way to end it and I'm definitely excited to see what happens next. '03-'04 Orton is one of my favorites, so I kinda still have a soft spot for him. And I will shut up about Triple H inserting himself into the main event now because that was a cool way to do it.</p>

I know I'm in the minority, but I find 'Evolution' heel Triple H just as boring as non-DX face Triple H. I changed the channel almost every time he cut a promo.

I'm willing to give this a shot because Orton has been bland and boring for years. I like your reasoning though. The not a top guy stuff I mean.

<p>HHH isn't the same guy and I loved each of Orton's major title runs (07 amd 09)</p><p> </p><p>

Dont know if they will work together but I suspect it will be HHH just stacking the deck in Orton's favor a lot without putting a ton of focus on himself since he is hardly a wrestler. I do wonder if we get Bryan/HHH sometime (Mania) where HHH taps to him.</p>

<p>Read the results and it sounds like an insanely good PPV. Can't wait to watch tonight.</p><p> </p><p>

As much as I'm glad that Triple H & Randy Orton have turned heel, I really hope they address their beef from a few years back; it was pretty intense and not something you just forget. We'll see.</p><p> </p><p>

Moving forward, does anyone see a new version of Evolution forming with Triple H taking on a Ric Flair role, Randy Orton representing the present and then some other guys representing the future the way Orton & Batista did? </p><p> </p><p>

Personally, I don't see it happening like that but if was fantasy booking in TEW then I'd totally do it. The guys I'd have representing the future would be The Shield. That would be an awesome group and a dominant incarnation of Evolution.</p>

If Cessaro wasn't busy teaming with Swagger he'd be great, too. </p><p> </p><p> As for the muscle, then yeah, Big E would fit the bill perfectly. If Ziggler is moving onto the World Title he's also free. Not sure what AJ would do, mind.</p>

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">SummerSlam Review:</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Ambrose vs RVD (US Title)</strong> - Solid match with obvious DQ finish. Will Shield lose all their titles to RVD, Henry & Show at NOC?</p><p>

<strong>Kane vs Bray (Ring of Fire)</strong> - Decent attempt at a PG Inferno match but the match itself could have been better. Kane's 5 moves of doom are boring. The Wyatts trying to get in the ring was funny. The headshot with the carved-out side of the steel steps off-camera looked weak. Creative will have to be inventive to keep the Wyatt Family interesting in a PG environment.</p><p>

<strong>Sandow vs Rhodes</strong> - No heel stache! Good match with both guys pulling out new moves. Glad to see Rhodes go over. Sandow still has his briefcase... for now.</p><p>

<strong>Christian vs Del Rio (WHC Title)</strong> - ADR looks badass with the black eye! Great match with lots of near falls that made both guys look strong. I'm surprised Christian didn't win they way they built him up for this match.</p><p>

<strong>Natalya vs Bella</strong> - Decent match even if the crowd didn't give a crap. Natalya finally gets her chance to shine.</p><p>

<strong>Lesnar vs Punk</strong> - Match of the PG Era Contender. Yeah, I said it! Both Punk and Lesnar pulled out all the stops to make it look as legit brutal as possible. F5 counter was sick. Plenty of 2.5 counts. Lots of submissions. Heyman was used to perfection. Axel didn't show up. Lesnar winning was the best result going forward, although I couldn't help but mark for Punk to win. The crowd were so freaking hot!</p><p>

<strong>Ziggler & Kaitlyn vs Big E & AJ</strong> - Fun cool down match with a crowd-pleasing result.</p><p>

<strong>Bryan vs Cena (WWE Title)</strong> - Match of the Year Contender. Bryan wrestled like he was in ROH. Cena stepped up. Only negative was Cena's dangerous attempt at a Piledriver/Styles Clash. Bryan going clean over Cena was awesome! I was up on my feet chanting "Yes!" I thought there's no way Orton's cashing in tonight. Then when Trips spun Bryan around I swore out loud. I'm confident the storyline will pay off and Bryan will be champ again soon, but damn that was a rollercoaster!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Verdict:</span></strong> 2 awesome and intense main event matches with A+ storytelling. Sandow vs Rhodes, Ambrose vs RVD and Christian vs Del Rio were all good. Ring of Fire match was underwhelming. Other 2 matches were watchable filler. PPV of the year so far.</p>

Seriously though, how about this for Survivor Series: <strong>Bryan, Punk & Ziggler vs. Orton, HHH & Lesnar</strong></p>

I watched the show live last night, was awesome. Fandango trolling The Miz all night made me chuckle... but as everyone else has said, Punk/Lesnar and the main event were both fantastic. It's not every day that I mark out as much as I did but last night I loved it and was more than happy to do so. And Orton/HHH turning heel too... that was nicely done. We stayed on the celebration for so long, teasing it out with the room full of us wondering what was happening and when you saw HHH stepping up close behind Bryan with the look on Orton's face... you just knew it was on! :D

Daniel Bryan gets another huge boost as a sympathetic babyface, a huge boost as a credible competitor and just got launched into what is going to be the top storyline in the company going forward. Cena was great tonight too, his contributions shouldn't be overlooked in making that a great match. The future is looking good for the WWE, they've been on a bit of a roll lately and that makes me very happy. :D

Why in the world would Lesnar join with the guy he had feuded with for over a year?

I'm guessing Brock is done until WM so he can face Taker since he beat Punk and HHH who were the last 3 streak matches

I have heard that Taker's match at WM 30 will be against John Cena for quite some time now. It could change but that's what I have been hearing since before WM 29 was even in the books.

Hell with how good Lesnar vs. Punk was last night I would love to see those two wrestle again at WM 30. That way Punk can get his revenge and then maybe have a third match with Brock down the line.
