Smackdown Highlights:

Good Stuff - Wyatt Family vs Usos. Del Rio putting Cena through a table with a spinebuster after the lame arm wrestling. Punk & Bryan vs Axel & Ryback (which ended with the Wyatts beating down Axel & Ryback after The Beard & The Best outsmarted them).

OK Stuff - Truth & PTP vs The Union Jacks

Filler - Natalya vs Tamina. Bellas vs Funkadactyls. Khali vs Camacho & Hunico (I did say they should be on Smackdown but I didn't mean jobbing to Khali <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/rolleyes.png.4b097f4fbbe99ce5bcd5efbc1b773ed6.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />).

Or at the very least they could have done something interesting.

When reviews start talking about lack of hype for a PPV, I just don't take them seriously afterward. It has no bearing on how entertaining the show "is" right now. Plus, it's as if these reviewers have ton's more experience on how to "sell" a PPV as opposed to WWE (or TNA for that matter). It's just a silly way, in my opinion, to say something bad about something that is totally irrelevant to the show in question.

Not that I found Fridays Smackdown very entertaining, but it had nothing to do with lack of hype for a PPV. Smackdown has always been the more action packed show out of the two "A" shows for me. This one lacked in quite a few area's, and I'm not going to say I disagree with everything that reviewer said. It's just annoying for these reviewers to use non-relevant points (in my opinion), to say how much WWE sucks.

Opening segment confused me. First off, did you catch Orton missing what he was supposed to say? HHH asks 'who the hell do you think you're talking to?' Orton zays'"the wwe champion and face of this company!" And going off all of this storyline it's been a confusing mess as to 'who is who' from last week and this week with Orton stepping up to the bosses and then aligning with them and finding himself at ends with them and the shield. Is he tweenering on us here?

And then the GM mess, they're heels yet being treated as faces by being punished by the bosses and the commentators were actually getting on the side of Triple H and Stephanie for that bit. When commentators are "fair" they get on the side of the faces while it would be want to seem like I'm being a sheep fan who cheers faces and boos heels, because I am not, but it is so much a part of WWE to have that 'hero and villain' tradition its just not their style. Are they now deciding to try to break from their normal setup and feature wrestlers who just go around causing trouble with anyone no matter if it's a face or heel (Wyatts attacking Ryback for instance and then breaking Axel/Ryback away from Heyman.)

It was cool to see Big E. win the IC title! So long Axel see ya back on Superstars haha. But he celebrated like an old school champ, and the way that celebration makes me interested in what he does for the belt. Some of these champs win the belt and don't put any emotion into the win, Langston actually made it look worthy...

For those that don't know AJ Lee collapsed during the middle of a match during the European tour due to dehydration and the is WWE just being the bullies they are by mocking the situation. I won't say it was offensive but to me it was just distasteful and did nothing to help the segment. I didn't mind the use of Paul Bearer in the Taker/Punk feud because it added to the storyline but if it's just to mock someone qithout plot advancement there is not reason for it.

Honestly though, Stacy Kiebler had more talent than her, and Candice Michelle atleast showed a bit of potential when she was handed the ball to run as Women's Champion. At the time I felt Candice had a legit shot of helping fill the void left by Lita and Trish if she only continued to focus on improving, but then the broken collarbone injury happened (during her match with Beth Phoenix) if I'm not mistaken and things went downhill from there.

Regarding RAW, it was solid and hyped the PPV, so I will def watch for free Sunday.

The main event was awesome, and Ryback vs Big Show was actually not a train wreck. Zig vs Damien was good.

The crapfest was Vicki, Divas, and too much country for sure. I didn't like the Orton segments. If he's a heel and we're supposed to be rooting for babyface Bryan, why should we care if HHH makes things harder for him by not allowing the Shield to protect Orton?

My main problem with booking is that I take months off from watching a whole episode (I just watch some Youtube clips of hot angles if I remember) and when I tune in it's so pathetic how the guys who had the pushes and momentum don't get interview time or get jobbed out, in addition to characters turning.

My main shocks was AJ being cheered, Ziggler being midcard, The New Americans, Ryback jobbing clean, Del Rio being heel, Axel not with Heyman and dropping the belt to babyface Big E (who is not with AJ). As far as the Miz turning again, no it's not something that excites me. He really lost his heat after he beat Cena at WM and has never been the same. In other words, I believe frequent turns and loss of momentum really kills characters. Couple that with guys acting like tweeners and it's very confusing.

To create a barrier between both of them, despite both being heels. It's kind of like asking why did that alpha male babyface who's feuding a heel, perform his finisher on a lesser babyface, aren't we supposed to root for him.

Mind you, I agree with the rest of your post, it's been my main gripe about WWE for years though I'm not fussed with what they allowed Bryan to do this year.
