Teh_Showtime
I saw the FAQ about the network posted, which is pretty much everything you need to know. It's an incredible deal especially since I watch pretty much everything online now, including wrestling

lazorbeak
This looks really, really cool and I definitely hope it works out for WWE. I'm definitely a day one subscriber. The only thing is this puts more pressure on WWE to actually make their shows better. Right now there's about two, maybe 3 watchable hours of WWE programming a week, spread out over 7 hours. And that's including all of NXT as "watchable," because it's consistently WWE's best show.

juggaloninjalee
Hoping I can do well enough in my new career to purchase the WWE Network for a full year up front. $9.99 a month is an amazing deal! Better than purchasing each PPV individually. Then you can still charge your friends $5 to come watch it at your house. That's what we did 10 years ago when I was in high school. If it's no more than AU$20/month I'll sign up for the trial. If the streaming quality and on-demand schedule are to my liking I'll grab a 6 month subscription. I'm happy to pay WWE considering how much of it I watch, I just couldn't justify an expensive Foxtel plan and shelling out for every PPV. Now all I need is for HBO to go global. Mammoth
Am I just being dumb when I say there is no reason for it not to be released globally right off the bat? The 'E take great delight in telling everyone they're the "global brand" of sports entertainment and yet they either won't wait to release it to everyone at the same time and/or they can't. I'm no technical-wizard by any stretch of the imagination, but if this is all going to be done through streaming (which is just a technical word for "through the internet", no?) then why can't it be done globally? If I could listen to some Japanese kid talking over a video of Fifa 14 two minutes after getting my PS4, why can't I watch classic wrestling at the same time as those darn Americans? Anyway, I'm hoping they delve into all of their libraries. As they own the footage of 99.9% (like every figure on the internet, this one is made up) of every bankrupt or closed promotion from the 1950's to now, they should should show a lot more than WCW, ECW and of course, themselves. My guess is that the rollout plan is dependant on their server bandwidth. A gradual expansion should cut down on early technical issues. As for the content, I believe that will expand over time as well.
Tha Black Phenom
Anyway, I'm hoping they delve into all of their libraries. As they own the footage of 99.9% (like every figure on the internet, this one is made up) of every bankrupt or closed promotion from the 1950's to now, they should should show a lot more than WCW, ECW and of course, themselves. Is the demand for any of those defunct promotions there? Doubt it. This WWE Network service(and the content) already seems second to none, there's no reason WWE should be churning out more effort to satisfy the few hundred who may check into those, the content available already takes weeks, if not months to peruse through. It's kind of a bummer about not being released on a wider scale, especially at least for Canada which is right freakin' next door. But it seems for almost every of WWE's past releases, Canada is grouped in with the other countries for later release.. figures.
Teh_Showtime
They will make it available over time, as those old promotions had features for classics on demand plus DVD releases which were already stated to be in the VOD library. I think they wont have the entire library available from the start outside of the big 3 in order to constantly add content to perhaps influence people to stay subscribed or to subscribe initially
Wallbanger
<p>Since they are closing down Classics on Demand, I'd expect that content would be migrated to WWE Network. To Showtime's point it might not be right away, but they aren't going to just shelve that stuff when they can monetize it.</p><p> </p><p> Could also be that the marketing is focusing on the 'big 3' but the initial content release won't be limited to that.</p>

milamber
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">NXT Review:</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Summer vs Bayley</strong> - Fan favorite Bayley got a rare win. I love that the NXT women get the chance to develop their characters to good effect (unlike the main roster bar AJ).</p><p> <strong>Big Cass vs English</strong> - High intensity match which English won. Big Cass has improved a lot in the last 6 months. The crowd are starting to treat English more like a heel. They can easily get more mileage out this feud.</p><p> <strong>Neville and Breeze</strong> - Funny backstage segment with Neville threatening to punch the Gorgeous One's face for costing him the title last month.</p><p> <strong>Woods vs Rusev</strong> - Kane set this match up as punishment for helping Big Show get his job back. Woods put up a strong fight but Rusev made him tap to the Accolade (Camel Clutch).</p><p> <strong>Kidd vs Corbin</strong> - Kidd won an OK match. Corbin's got an interesting look. If he weren't so green he'd be a better choice than Mason Ryan as the next Shield member.</p><p> <strong>Hunico & Camacho vs The Ascension (Tornado Tag)</strong> - OK match that should have made better use of the No DQ stipulation. The Ascension retained again. Not sure what happens next for the tag division. They should have signed Davey & Eddie to short contracts to fill the void.</p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Verdict:</span></strong> Average show. Lots of matches. Nothing bad but nothing particularly good either.</p>
milamber
What do you guys think about my idea of Cesaro replacing Reigns in the Shield? I'd rather he get a big solo push this year but he has the right attributes to be the muscle of the group and it would push him up the card. Mason Ryan has too much baggage (Welshtista, can't get over with the crowd) and no one else in NXT looks ready to step into that role. Adam Rose (Leo Kruger) can replace him in the Real Americans. We have never seen Cesaro interact with them in any significant manner so it would just be weird for Ambrose and Rollins to introduce Cesaro as Reigns replacement and adding members to the shield after this long would just weaken their perception unless they actually transform into a mercenary company with someone respected like Regal or Ted DiBiase as the main leader. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <strong>MAIN REASON</strong></p><p><strong> Plus how are The Shield going to come down the ring with shiny wet hair when Cesaro is bald.</strong></p>
