strange events/deaths/other events 2010

Simple solution, Daemon Riight is one of the Venture Brothers.

Ever think Peter Valentine was a bad guy? I think he's one heck of a guy. He's helping USPW by retiring with both the National and one half of the Tag Titles on his shoulders. USPW needs to cut down on titles anyways, right?

I asked this question in the small questions thread and did not receive an answer. If there is a report of a wrestler going to jail for 15 years, should the wrestler not be booked as well as not appear as a Hidden Gem? James Prudence was convicted of 2nd degree murder yet CZCW is still using him and he is still a Hidden Gem.

This sounds like something that should be posted on the tech support forum.

This reminds me of Season 3 of Lost - Playing a game with my minimalist data (as in, I have one good ref available), my ref died in a horrible accident. I went in and resurrected him in the editor, rehired him, and went on my merry way... Until he was killed in another horrible accident.

You can't escape death. Whatever happened, happened. ;)

The world has gone mad after looking at those last screen shots. Here's something that just popped up in my 2002 WWF game.

I know I shouldn't take the mickey out of the dead (RIP Eddie) but it made me chuckle a little and made me think they don't make them like they used to.

Fast Navarro has died after being struck by lightning. Twice. In quick succession. Guess he wasn't fast enough, huh?

Aussie promotions keep messin' with me - this sent my promotion momentum from a 93 to an 88. I started a war with all of them a long time ago and I've tried ending them but they all refuse. I've completely stopped doing shows in Australia while building outside of North America in Japan, Europe, and the UK.

I always laugh when something like this pops up. :D

Things are getting very interesting in my game - Jack DeColt refusing to resign with CGC (which is Cult). He doesn't have any simmering tension with Alex (who took over as owner) or anybody else in the DeColt family. The thing I find strange is he's married to Hotstuff Marie whose under written contract with CGC and he still chose to leave. NOTBPW is Global and the opportunities are greater for him while his career is winding down, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a divorce down the road.

Jack's probably too big of a star to sign for a company that's only Cult.

Yep he is. I just assumed that with his brother running the promotion and his other brothers still in the company (along with his wife) he'd want to stick around regardless of how popular he is. Jumping ship from his fathers creation to their biggest competition without even a blood relative relationship changing to simmering tension was odd I thought.

That gives them more leeway but in this case it was not enough apparently. And isn't Steve in NOTBPW already at the start of the game?

Completely overlooked Steve. I thought he jumped back to CGC around 2018 when the Canadian economy and wrestling industry plummeted - NOTBPW and CGC fell to Cult / National. Both are starting to go back up a lot towards the end of 2020 and the US is dropping fast now.

I thought this was cool because it was the first time throughout the 10 years of playing (that I remember) that someone who was on my roster changed their style.
