USPW: A Slow Ride To The Top

Recommended Posts

As you know from the past, I have never booked specifically for grades but for storylines. Glad you've found it entertaining though because that is my ultimate goal. I have several pieces of talent coming in soon that I believe will be definite good additions to USPW. But any suggestions are always welcome.

Here, here! Great show as always, and I'll be joining in the 'one more match' chants :D'Whatcha gonna do brotha!?' :p

Anger vs. Freddie Datsun

Bounce-back-victory for Datsun.

Greg Gauge vs. Tribal Warrior

Not sure Gauge is ready yet but I'll be happy to be proved wrong.

Cherry Bomb vs. Sara Marie York

Cherry's getting an almighty push, and SMY could be on her way out.

Top Contender Match, USPW World Television Title: Fumihiro Ota vs. Java

I still can't see Jones dropping the title so it makes sense for his challenger to be a face.

USPW World Television Title Match: Andre Jones defends vs. Des Davids

See above...

James Justice and Tyson Baine vs. Enygma and Bruce The Giant

Horsemen come back? DQ? I just don't know!

Hehe yeah I know about that but I am not talking about changing the booking per se more the order of the matches and angles which would help improve the show grades.

On to possible signings when the game starts and you do not have signed at this moment.

As you know USPW is overness and entertainment heavy but you also need guys that came make the over guys look good. So I divided it up into categories to see which criteria which wrestler hits. If he is in multiple it means he is a very good signing. Anyone below E- would be considered a talent for USPW so you are thinking long term with those. Also consider that High Flying skills tend to not do as well in USPW.

First the instant improvement lot:

Thought Process is quoted so can skip it if want.

1. High Overness (C- and above) : Shawn Gonzalez, Henry Lee/ Acid, Travis Century/ Art Reed, Madman Boon.

2. Medium Overness (D- to D+): Billy Jack Shearer, Randall Hopkirk, Man Mountain Cahill, Dallas McWade, Grunt, Stink/ Alex Braun, Black Hat Bailey, Buddy Garner, Dean McWade, Donnie J, James Prudence, Doug Peak, Fox Mask, Grandmaster Phunk, Paul Steadyfast, Puerto Rican Power (A and D+), Silver Shark/ Billy Russel (C+), Fate, Ford Gumble, Frankie Perez, Handsome Stranger, Hell's Bouncer, Honest Frank, Insane Machine, Kazuma Narato, Mikey James, Nathan Coleman, Remmy Skye, Roy Edison, The Darkness Warrior, Whistler.

3. Have entertainment Skills (at least B-): Alex Braun, Billy Jack Shearer, Dalles McWade, Dean McWade, Doug Peak, Phunk, Grunt, Hell's Bouncer, Henry Lee, Honest Frank, Madman Boone, Man Mountain Cahill, Puerto Rican Power, Randall Hopkirk, Stink, The Darkness Warrior, Travis Century, Whistler.

4. Have Ability to make others look good: Acid, Alex Braun, Art Reed, Black Hat Bailey, Buddy Garner, Grandmaster Phunk, Insane Machine, Donnie J, James Prudence, Johnny Martin, Kazuma Narato, Madman Boone, Mickey James, Nathan Coleman, Paul Steadyfast, Puerto Rican Power, Shawn Gonzalez, Silver Shark, Travis Century.

5. Tag team or positive relation with current roster member or candidate should also be taken into consideration.

6. Now take out those not allowed by owner goals: Braun, Phunk, Lee, Martin, Acid, Narato, Russel, Garner, Edison.

This would make my no1 recommendations: Gonzalez, Century, Reed and once fit Boone.

Secondary recommendations: Shearer, Hopkirk, The Mcwades once the other ends Hiatus, Puerto Rican Power, Hell’s Bouncer, Honest Frank, The Darkness Warrior, Whisler.

Tertiary recommendations: Martin (and Sanders), Coleman (and Ferdinand), James and Perez, Donnie J and Jimmy P, Insane Machine (and American Elemental), Stink and Grunt, Cahill, Bailey, Silver Shark.

Ill come back with the women and talents later. And as I do not know who has been signed to written you can off course remove those. The E- to E+ guys are a strange lot and I will do those that do not fall under talent separate.

I do thank you for this list right now. It makes talent searching a little easier. There are certain ones who are either on written contracts or guys that I wouldn't sign because of personal preference out of your three recommendation lists. These are Puerto Rican Power (Well, he's on PPA but with SWF, who I am at war with), not sure I would sign Hell's Bouncer since Tyson Baine has sort of taken his place on my roster, Whistler will probably be retiring soon, Coleman and Ferdinand I wouldn't sign because of bad past experiences with them, Frankie Perez is on written to TCW, as is Mikey James, James Prudence is on written to SWF and Insane Machine and American Elemental I am not so sure I'd bring in because of their wrestling style, Elemental is also on a touring contract with WEXXV.

As for the others listed, there are some who I have recently signed but just have not debuted yet. At least one will make his debut at the next show but I'm not yet gonna spill the beans on that one. But thanks again and I'm glad you're enjoying the diary and looking to make things better!

Simple answer to all your problems.

His name is feared in Russia for the sole reason that he once pwned Marat Khoklov. With one punch. His name is Dusty Bin and he is the man to take USPW into the modern ages.

This message was paid for by the Dusty Bin fanclub. Wednesday is poker night with the great one himself.

I have actually signed him in one of my previous diaries before so he is actually a possibility. It's fun to see if I can make something of him. lol.

Here, here! Great show as always, and I'll be joining in the 'one more match' chants :D'Whatcha gonna do brotha!?' :p

The plans I have for Sam are gonna be very interesting for the future, I think. Glad you enjoyed the show, though. You are quickly running one of my favorite diaries and I don't mind giving a shout out that you can find jhd1's take on USPW right here!

USPW AMERICAN WRESTLING!

Wednesday Week 2 June 2010

Location: Huntsville Fairgrounds (South East)

Attendance: 3,809

Overall Rating: C

TV Rating: 1.61

Some of the angles used definitely helped lift the show as a whole.

I think this show might have actually hurt our popularity overall.

Pre Show: In a match that had some good action and average heat, Jack Griffith defeated James Hernandez in 8:28 by pinfall with a Jack in The Box...C-

[The show opens by panning around the Huntsville Fairgrounds and taking in the fans. The crowd rises to their feet and begins a 'USPW' chant! The camera zooms in on the front row to find a shocking face there...]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/ShawnGonzalez_jhd.jpg

[...Is that the Lone Wolf Shawn Gonzalez sitting in the front row? What is he doing here? He just stares stoicly toward the ring and we are ready for our opening bout.]

Match #1

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/DemonAnger.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/ShaneSneer.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/FreddieDatsun.jpg

Anger vs. Freddie Datsun

[The opening match was slightly entertaining between these two. Shane Sneer held up the Coca Cola bottle throughout the match, getting Anger riled up. Anger took down Datsun with a big powerslam and made the cover: 1 -- 2 -- Kickout! The Coca Cola bottle turned out to be both a source of power and a source of distraction for Anger as he was constantly looking over for 'advice' or 'approval.' One of these times, he spent too long looking over at the bottle and Datsun threw some punches to the gut when he came back over...]

[...Datsun got to his feet and the American Everyman took control. He rammed Anger's head against the turnbuckle and then lifted him up -- backbreaker! Datsun let him go and got the crowd pumped! He dropped down on his knees and began slapping the mat with both hands, getting the crowd to begin clapping along with him. Both Anger and Datsun rose up to their feet. Anger staggered around toward him and Datsun lifted him up on his shoulders -- Patriot Press! The finisher connected and Datsun made the cover, hooking the leg: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Freddie Datsun (Via Pinfall @ 6:01)

Match Rating: C-

[The crowd cheered for the victory of Datsun over Anger. But the cheers were multiplied when the next man walked out from the back...]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/SamStrong.jpg

[...The presence of Sam Strong brought the crowd to their feet! Sam gave some fans some high fives as he walked down to the ring. He stepped inside and was given a microphone...]

Sam Strong

"Huntsville, Alabama welcome to some USPW action! We just saw the American Everyman Freddie Datsun take care of business in the ring and I wanted to let each and every one of you know that he will be facing the USPW World Television Champion, whoever that may be, at USPW Americana!"

[...The crowd bursts into cheers at that announcement...]

Sam Strong

"That is not the only thing I came out here to talk about. I came out here, brothers, to address the man called Giant Redwood. Redwood, you and I, we go way back in this business. I cannot say that I respect the way you are doing things but you had no right to attack me last week. You..."

[...Sam was cut off by the presence of a large figure walking down toward the ring...]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/GiantRedwood.jpg

[...Giant Redwood stepped over the top rope to enter the ring and came face-to-chest with Sam Strong. Redwood snatched the microphone out of Sam Strong's hand...]

Giant Redwood

"You know what, little man? You humiliated me during the War Games match by making me utter those two words: 'I Quit.' Those are two words that I never thought I would say in my life. So I got a little revenge last week when I nearly broke your neck. Maybe this time I shouldn't stop."

[...Redwood pushed Sam into the corner. Sam rebounded off the turnbuckles and walked right up to Giant Redwood...]

Sam Strong

"I'll tell you what, Redwood, you want a chance to redeem yourself? I'm going to go against my own word just this once. At Americana!, it's going to be Giant Redwood versus Sam Strong! What do you think of that?"

[...Redwood shoved Sam again! Sam came back with a forearm shot to the chest! The locker room spilled forth, including Alicia Strong on Sam Strong's side and Cherry Bomb on Giant Redwood's side! The two of them were held back and an unbelievable match has been made for Americana!]

Match #2

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/GregGauge.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/TribalWarrior.jpg

Greg Gauge vs. Tribal Warrior

[After the ring cleared, the crowd booed when Greg Gauge came out from the back to face one half of Savage Fury: Tribal Warrior. Gauge was dominant in this match against Warrior, working over the leg and staying away from the head region of his Savage Opponent. It didn't take very long for Gauge to lock in the Proton Lock and Tribal Warrior had no choice but to give up to the painful hold!]

Winner: Greg Gauge (Via Submission @ 6:06)

Match Rating: D

[The focus turned to the announcers for a few moments as another match for Americana! was finalized...]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/BryanHolmes.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/Enygma.jpg

[...Bryan Holmes would be getting a one on one shot against Enygma for Enygma's USPW World Title! What a great match that should be!]

[back around the ringside area, the cameras focus in on the ring where a figure is already standing there with a microphone in hand...]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/ChrisCaulfield_alt1.jpg

[...The crowd's cheers for the Hardcore American were slowly dying down as Chris began to speak...]

Chris Caulfield

"I have been in this business for quite a long time. I've seen some things and I've done some things that I am not proud of. But I have never been betrayed the way that James Justice did when he turned on me to form the now-defunct Four Horsemen. At Americana! that is all going to change. Things are going to turn around and I am going to secure a true victory over James Justice myself in a one on one encounter. James..."

[...The crowd booed as someone stepped from the back...]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/Liberty_jhd2.jpg

[...James Justice walked out and headed down to the ring. He didn't bother slapping the hands of those fans who still enjoyed him. He just made it down to the ring and climbed the stairs, stepping inside the ring with his heated rival. He gave him a look and then turned to get his own microphone. But then he turned back and sucker-punched Chris Caulfield! The crowd booed as Caulfield went down with that shot and Justice started putting the boots to the Hardcore American! Justice stomped a mudhole in Caulfield and walked it dry! He picked him up and hooked him -- Liberation Slam! The crowd booed as James Justice stood tall over Chris Caulfield and officials came out to get him out of there. What a dispicable action!]

Match #3

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/CherryBomb_jhd1.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/SaraMarieYork.jpg

Cherry Bomb vs. Sara Marie York

[This one would seem to be the 'who cares' match of the night as the crowd was not really into it at all. SMY has not yet even become a sympathetic character here in USPW so the fans all lined up to use the restroom and buy merchandise while the match went on. Cherry Bomb exploded on SMY and took her out with the Cherry Bomb and a pinfall: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Cherry Bomb (Via Pinfall @ 5:33)

Match Rating: D-

[The backstage area became the focus on the big video screen following that match. Officials were huddled over a figure that was slowly coming into view...]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/JimForce_jhdad.jpg

[...The Force was lying on the floor within the locker room, looking completely shocked and beaten up. Officials tried to ask him who did this to him...]

The Force

"He can't be here. It cannot be true. He can't be here. He doesn't exist."

[...The Force was blubbering something as officials worked on him and we headed to another area backstage...]

[This area was a long hallway and the cameras were following behind a very attractive woman...]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/AliciaStrong.jpg

[...Alicia Strong walked down the hallway and she turned a corner and came face-to-face with...]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/BelleBryden.jpg

[...Belle Bryden! The USPW Women's Champion looked at Alicia with disgust...]

Belle Bryden

"So daddy decided that you deserve a title shot at Americana? What a crock! Just because you're daddy's little girl, that doesn't make you worthy of a title shot."

Alicia Strong

"How about when I beat your girl Amber last month?"

Belle Bryden

"You got lucky against Amber Allen. She could take you any day of the week..."

Alicia Strong

"Except for Saturday?"

Belle Bryden

"Well, don't worry too much because at Americana, I will be taking care of business little girl."

[...Belle shoved Alicia out of the way and walked off with Alicia shooting daggers at her with her eyes...]

Match #4

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/FumihiroOta.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/Java.jpg

Top Contender Match To USPW World Television Title

Fumihiro Ota vs. Java

[This particularly match was only marginally better than the last match and perhaps only because it was a top contender match and these two showed some pretty good chemistry in the ring. It didn't have as many people leaving for the restroom or concession stands as Ota used his speed and Java used his power, depending upon who had the advantage at the time. Java managed to avoid a Ninja Strike from Ota and nailed him with the Greetings From The Island! Java made the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3! We have a new top contender for the USPW World Television Title!]

Winner: Java (Via Pinfall @ 6:02)

Match Rating: D+

[As Java celebrated, the big video screen lit up to show backstage where two figures who draw boos are seen within the locker room together...]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/Liberty_jhd2.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/TysonBaine.jpg

James Justice

"I showed Chris Caulfield, didn't I?"

Tyson Baine

"Yeah, you did."

James Justice

"And tonight we are going to show Enygma and Bruce The Giant who the most dominant wrestlers are in USPW. We may no longer be Horsemen but we are still friends."

Tyson Baine

"James, I don't like you."

James Justice

"But you don't like anyone so I'm as close as you're going to get to having a true friend."

Tyson Baine

"That's true. Well, let's get ready for our match."

[...Both nodded and we headed back to the ring...]

Match #5

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/AndreJones.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/DesDavids.jpg

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/USPW_TV.jpg

USPW World Television Title Match

Andre Jones defends vs. Des Davids

[This match had the crowd going about as much as the last match did. About half the crowd enjoyed it and the other half went to the restroom during this back and forth battle. Jones avoided an early Quarterback Sack, sending Des Davids shoulder-first into the corner and up against the steel ring post. Jones took the opportunity to go for the Blast From The Past Piledriver while Davids was stunned but Davids managed to grab the ropes and keep from being raised up. He tripped Jones up and threw some vicious punches. That is when USPW newcomer Greg Gauge came out from the back and stood ringside...]

[...Gauge proved to be a definite distraction for Des Davids throughout this match. Andre Jones took advantage of the distraction and took the momentum over from Des Davids. The USPW World Television Champion got on a roll with a side of slaw before he missed a corner splash! Des Davids grabbed Andre Jones and lifted him up in military press fashion as Greg Gauge got up on the apron! Davids walked toward him but Jones managed to squirm out of the hold and fell behind Davids. He shoved Davids into Gauge, knocking their heads together and knocking Gauge off the apron. Davids turned and Jones kicked him in the gut -- Blast From The Past! Jones nailed Des Davids with the Piledriver and made a cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Andre Jones (Via Pinfall @ 8:29)

Match Rating: D+

[The crowd was unhappy with the outcome of that last match and booed it heavily! The big video screen came on to show two figures throwing punches backstage...]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/PeterValentine.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/NickyChampion_alt.jpg

[...Peter Valentine and Nicky Champion were brawling in the backstage area! Valentine raked the eyes of Nicky and threw him against a door! The door opened to reveal the men's restroom! Valentine shoved Nicky against a urinal and went for a big boot but Nicky dodged it! Champion threw some punches to Peter Valentine as he got his foot unstuck from the urinal and officials flooded inside to get these two men seperated! They will have a rematch at Americana! Now, let's head elsewhere.]

[Elsewhere happens to be the interview area where two figures are standing by...]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/Enygma.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/BrucetheGiant.jpg

[...The crowd cheers for the presence of Enygma and Bruce The Giant! Enygma looks up at Bruce and motions down to his belt for a moment and makes a few more hand gestures. Bruce nodded...]

Bruce The Giant

"Didn't you used to speak? But tonight the talking won't be necessary when we step inside the ring with James Justice and Tyson Baine. Tyson, I am looking specifically for you. I am going to prove to the world that there is only one dominant giant in this industry and you're looking at him!"

[...Bruce made the chokeslam motion but stopped short when Enygma tapped him on the shoulder. Enygma raised his hand in the same motion and Bruce just shook his head, patted Enygma on the shoulder and walked off. Enygma shrugged and followed him as it is time for our main event!]

Match #6

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/Liberty_jhd2.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/TysonBaine.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/Enygma.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/BrucetheGiant.jpg

James Justice and Tyson Baine vs. Enygma and Bruce The Giant

[Justice and Baine came out to boos from the crowd. They are definitely not liked very much here in Huntsville. But the crowd popped when the USPW World Champion Enygma and Bruce The Giant walked out from the back. An unusual entrance for our USPW World Champion but at least he did point out a sign in the crowd: 'Enygma and Bruce: Team of Destiny!' Enygma and Bruce looked toward the ring for a moment and jumped in as Justice and Baine exited! Enygma and Bruce played to the crowd for a moment and then moved to their corner. Justice and Baine climbed inside slowly and it looks like Enygma and Justice are going to be the two men to start this match...]

[...Enygma began clapping his hands, getting the crowd fired up as he circled around Justice. The first minute was spent going back and forth between the two men before Justice gained the advantage with a sucker-punch while the referee was pulling Enygma back from the corner. Justice focused on the back of the USPW World Champion and tagged in his partner. Baine made a mock chokeslam motion to get Bruce riled up and then took down Enygma with a hard clothesline! The crowd worked on getting behind the USPW World Champion at various times during the next few minutes but every time Enygma would come close to a tag there would be some sort of distraction to either Bruce or the official so the tag would not be legal. Enygma was kept in the corner of the two former Horsemen members and they tagged in and out. Justice took Enygma down in the center of the ring and then bounced off the ropes -- SSSSSSTTTTTTAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLSSSSSS -- Dude Knee Drop! The move connected and Justice made a cover: 1 -- 2 -- Kickout! Somehow, the USPW World Champion kicked out of the Dude Knee Drop! Justice got back up and pulled Enygma up by the mask. He hooked him like he did Chris Caulfield earlier in the evening -- elbow shots by Enygma! Enygma fought his way out of the Liberation Slam! The masked wrestler kicked Justice in the gut -- DDT! Both men lie on the mat as the referee begins the ten count. At the count of 4, both men start crawling toward their corners. At the count of 7, Justice makes the tag to Baine! But Enygma tags in Bruce!...]

[...Bruce came in and threw punches right at Tyson Baine! The two legal men there began exchanging punches in the center of the ring! Neither man wanted to back down from the other! Justice entered the ring and distracted Bruce, enabling Baine to start throwing some punches by himself! Enygma came in to cut off Justice and these two men began brawling! Baine wrapped his hands around the throat of Bruce The Giant! Could he be going for? No way he can do that, right?!?! Bruce broke the hold of Baine before he could lift him up! Bruce wrapped his hand around the throat of Tyson Baine! Baine went to the eyes to break that hold! With the brawling there and the fight between Enygma and James Justice in the ring, the referee had no choice but to throw this match out!]

Winner: Draw (Sports Entertainment Finish @ 10:03)

Match Rating: C

[...But just because the bell sounded, that doesn't mean that the four men stopped! It took the entire USPW locker room clearing out to break these four men apart but that just meant that Chris Caulfield went after James Justice and Bryan Holmes went after Enygma! It was a wild and chaotic finish to the evening! We'll see you next week!]

The plans I have for Sam are gonna be very interesting for the future, I think. Glad you enjoyed the show, though. You are quickly running one of my favorite diaries and I don't mind giving a shout out that you can find jhd1's take on USPW right

here!

Thanks for the plug (and the compliment)! You've probably guessed by now but having predicted every single show in this diary and your 1989 one - I'm a big fan. About Sam Strong...

"Well let me tell ya' somethin' Mean A...You see brother, all those Strong Maniacs sitting at home taking there vitamins brother, they've been waiting for the most famous world champion in wrestling history to hit the ring one last time. And at Declaration of Independence, when these 24 inch pythons wrapped around the neck of Tyson Baine, brother, that's when they knew - you just can't keep that fire from burning brother. There's only one way all the people at home can be satisfied, and that is when I take on Giant Redwood one-on-one at Americana because Strongmania ain't afraid of no man, no beast, nothing brother.

So whatcha gonna do, when Sam Strong runs wild on you!?"

Holmes has a title match at the next PPV, unlike any of the other three.

Top Contender Match, USPW World Television Title: Jack Griffith vs. The Force

Under the assumption Java loses, I'm going Face again.

USPW World Television Title Match: Andre Jones© defends vs. Java

See above.

The Masked Avatar vs. Chris Caulfield

No way Avatar is beating a main event star. I'm guessing he has a bit of momentum, or we're going to see a squash. Either way, the Hardcore American shouldn't have any trouble.

James Justice vs. Bruce The Giant

Tough one really. Flip of a coin but I think a DQ victory for Bruce keeps both chugging along nicely.

USPW World Title Match: Tyson Baine gets a shot vs. Enygma©

I'm assuming that Tyson Baine gets a shot means in this match rather than him winning gets him a shot? If I'm right, I can't see Enygma dropping the belt on TV and we already have a title match scheduled for the PPV with Holmes.

FRIDAY...

Week 2 June 2010...

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/TheMaskedAvatar.jpg

[...First things first, I was very happy to hear that Mean Jean Cattley re-signed his contract with Rip Chord and MAW. The first reason being that Rip deserves to keep one of his top ranking wrestlers around with him for as long as he can. The second reason is a more selfish take on things as it means that I can borrow him from MAW and use him on my shows if need be without having to actually sign him to a contract. As I got settled into the office room that I made within my apartment, I hear a knock on the door. I was actually expecting someone this evening so it did not come as a surprise. I got to my feet and opened the door wide...]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/EricTyler.jpg

[...Eric Tyler was standing there and I offered him a hand and he took it...]

The Masked Avatar

"Good evening, Eric. Thanks for coming down here to Huntsville."

Eric Tyler

"It's definitely a lot warmer down here than it is up north. It's almost too hot."

The Masked Avatar

"You get used to it."

[...I stepped back and motioned him inside, closing the door behind him...]

The Masked Avatar

"My office is down this way. Follow me."

[...I led him down to the small converted bedroom that I used as my office. I went behind the desk and motioned to him to have a seat...]

The Masked Avatar

"I'm glad you were willing to meet with me about a contract."

Eric Tyler

"Yes, well, with this heat out here you're lucky I wasn't Dead On Arrival."

[...We both had a laugh and then I gave him a serious look...]

The Masked Avatar

"Now, you're not going to really be a voice of reason here in USPW but if you will sign the contract then I am sure we can get down to exactly what I have planned for you here."

Eric Tyler

"Did you include everything I wanted?"

The Masked Avatar

"You're getting paid $1,500 a show and guaranteed to make a show's worth of money per month. Sam has also agreed that you will be able to have $1,000 in travel expenses for each show we use you on. That brings your total up to $2,500 per show. For a manager, I think you'll be making some pretty good money."

[...He nodded and looked over the contract for a moment, reading the wording of it before he took a pen and added his name to the dotted line...]

The Masked Avatar

"Great! Thanks, Eric. You won't regret this. Now, let's get down to business, shall we?"

[...And that was the beginning of a new era in United States Pro Wrestling. Will it succeed? I can only hope so because this could very well make or break my career here in USPW...]

Bryan Holmes and Darryl Devine vs. Performance Class

Holmes has a title shot which equals a win.

Top Contender Match, USPW World Television Title: Jack Griffith vs. The Force

Only because Java will be dispatched by Jones and the Jones-Beats-Old-Timers Tour rolls on.

USPW World Television Title Match: Andre Jones© defends vs. Java

Dre IS the TV title right now. . .

The Masked Avatar vs. Chris Caulfield

An Avatar with a win?! Not likely!!

James Justice vs. Bruce The Giant

I copied jhd1 on this one (;)) and flipped a coin and Bruce gets the vote.

USPW World Title Match: Tyson Baine gets a shot vs. Enygma©

I just think since Enygma has beaten Bruce, he's is almost invincible in my eyes.
