Blame insomnia on this, but I decided to update my old full body Skull DeBones/Vengeance render. Here's the old version. I think I made this about 3 years ago...

And using the original model as a base (trustly old semi-redundant M2) here's the new, bit-more-badass version (in .jpg for a fair comparison)...

Took around 5 hours to do, but it's ridiculous how long I spent trying to transmap the old morphing trenchcoat so I could have a short, rip sleeved version - most of the other time went on texturing. Lighting is pretty much custom now. I've been working on that on and off for ages trying to get a set up that works well with the generally lower res details of M2's textures and the few items I can now find that fit him, mainly so that now I'm doing minimal postwork.

His attire is a combination of various sets and freebies. While I'm on this, has anyone here got any experience of clothing converters? I haven't seen anything new for M2 for years, so I'm wondering if it's possible to convert some of the awesome clothing items for newer models, for use on him.

I've thought about it. I spent many hours one weekend thinking about a pack of 100 new wrestlers who gradually debut through the first 3 years of the C-Verse... but ultimately it's more work than I'm willing to put in. I'm just not that 'into' TEW any more. I'm doing this rendering thing right now, having a blast showing off all this work, but after that I think I'm done.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOES! You're not allowed to leave or be done.

Seriously, I can understand that. Hopefully you'll keep churning out the goodness for a little while longer yet. I absolutely loved your last 'Warrior-esque' render... totally looked like he could dominate that which was once indominable.

Yeah def. Renderosity is reserved for my more arty ones or "light tests" that happen to be nudey :p

Heh, I like a lot of the work over there, but sometimes it's a bit nudity and dramatic lighting overkill.

Also Blas, I don't think I comment on your renders a great deal, but then you know they're pretty darn good already. :p I've noticed your last couple of male renders really have a top notch shiney/sweaty skin going on. Looks great.

And so much for retirement Trell! You're putting out some of your best stuff yet.

Very cool. My only complaint would be that it's not zoomed in enough. Might be nice to see some more of the detailing.

Warrior wasn't mine, but it was awesome. Here's a freebie.

The filename may be familiar to fans of the 1970's C-Verse. Turns out I played the mod a long, long time ago, rendered this dude specifically for it, then promptly forgot about his origins and thought he was just another character in my mod. I'm also using the picture as an alt for House of Stone graduate Mark "The Anvil" Griffin, but that's neither here nor there.

Yeah, I wanted to get a good portion of the lower body in shot. I did try a larger window but sadly I got a texture error when I tried to add a couple of nodes and details to the skull and it crashed mid-render. I tried to reload, but for some reason the last save corrupted. Not the end of the world as all the time-consuming work was texturing and stuff and I still have the original figure, it's just a pain to have to add, position and rescale all the props again.

Sigh, my bad, it was jtlant's awesome work. I retract my previous compliment. :p

The obsession with elves never ceases to perplex me. I really should give one a go and see what the fuss is about.

... and Clarity, I don't know how you're doing it, but I'm really digging seeing that character come together.

Another freebie, from my "M3 Collection". Maybe a full body will come later, but after being spoiled with M4 I'm totally soured on the older model.
