Have no idea on what to name this one but how's this??:

he kind of looks like one of the guys from some pics i had. He's great and even better when you take into account this wasn't done with the features for aborigines. found out the features can be purchased but would probably be a waste of money for at least TEW considering the odds of there being many aborigine wrestlers. (total race population: less then 500,000)

 

and he's got that great Aborigine smile :D

Another of my tag teams. Nelson Blake. Benjamin Steele. Their team name and backstories have changed a bit over time. Coalition of the Willing. The Royal Air Force. The Military Assassins. Canadian Special Forces. Their full body renders have given me no end of trouble with posing.

all the work in this thread is great. i have seen amazing renders from beginning to end in here and other areas and i think the only ones who haven't done a great job have never showed their work. (meaning we can't judge what hasn't been seen)

 

and even in my limited time as a part of this forum I've seen several who have improved by leaps and bounds with the help and suggestions of the experienced.

 

and to those of you retiring or considering retiring i hope the rest of us can help inspire you with more ideas to keep you active with more works of art.

Well, I prefer M3 because of the texture UVs (plus the convenient seam guide I found to make body and head textures) and the fact that I can load it in P4 whenever I can't get to P8 (since M4 is only supported in P4 Pro and later, and P8 is so memory intensive and not entirely reliable for when rendering stuff with LOTS of textures loaded, like Default Hiro 4; it crashed on me EVERY TIME when I was trying to test render my new boots textures)

 

Also, @ Sebsplex:

His attire is a combination of various sets and freebies. While I'm on this, has anyone here got any experience of clothing converters? I haven't seen anything new for M2 for years, so I'm wondering if it's possible to convert some of the awesome clothing items for newer models, for use on him.

 

Evil Innocence has a clothing converter called Cross Dresser, designed to convert clothing for use between models (like making AnimeDoll/MayaDoll stuff wearable for V4 or Terai Yuki stuff wearable for M3, etc.).

 

The program itself is free, but they get you by charging for the necessary license files to convert to the various models. (buy the M2 license to convert anybody's outfit to M2, buy AD/MD license to convert outfits to AD/MD, etc.).

 

Plus, I got a bunch of free women's clothing from the site (examples of EI using Cross Dresser to convert his own clothing between women) and it's just waiting to be used in renders of V3/A3, V4/A4, AD/MD, Stephanie, etc.

There's even a Karate Gi (the pants are easily texturable for custom wrestling pants) for Mike4 if I remember correctly.

I'm wondering, in terms of textures...have you tried getting and using one of those "digital camouflage" styles? It would certainly help set their outfits apart from the rest of the camo-wearing wrestlers.

 

Good luck with the posing, it's a bitch when you wanna get it just right.

I'd never even heard of the digital stuff. Would have been a cool idea, but it's not a big enough change to warrant re-rendering.

I didn't have any native American style hairstyles so it looks a tad silly with the hair. Running a test render of an aborigine style one just now.

that looks amazing as is for a young native american. it probably could fit a lot of south pacific islanders with a slight change in skin tone but it isn't far off from the skin color of a friend of mine who is a native hawaiian.

 

My friend looks enough like ricky steamboat that he has wrestled under the steamboat name (with the Dragon's permission of course).

I have a friend who is half Indian (from India) and half Venezuelan indian. looks almost like her with a darker skin tone. :D

When i quoted the football legend in a previous post I didn't even realize how fitting the comment was.

 

Even if these renders don't fit the traditional aborigine look they are amazing in and of themselves and I would love to use all of them in a mod with the permission of you, the renderers. :D

If I'm honest, she looks a bit young for that outfit. Good stuff though. The eyes kinda draw you in.

 

... and a cool tag team from Trell. I'm assuming you're texturing the singlets yourself. The ice one looks particularly nifty.
