TEW10 Render Thread

That pretty cool. Nice clear lines. I was a big mark for Power Rangers back in the day.

So apparently a lot of renderers are using the Elite textures now (which is awesome, the renders are looking great) I was wondering if anyone has picked up the most recent male one; 'Stratton'. I have a little money burning in my pocket, so I was wondering if that texture is different enough from 'Sol' & 'Jeremy' to be worth adding to my collection.

Well, I was very clearly going for Jushin "Thunder" Liger with this one. The renders were mostly a test of where the elements would go on the suit texture when put on.

I gleaned that I needed to shorten the emblem (vertically) on the chest, make the chest fragment sit higher (closer to his pecs) and make the black-trimmed white triangles on his hips end higher on his waist (so that when I put the belt on, it looks right).

Also, I've been working on "kickpad" textures for the boots that came with the suit (boots shown in render), and the 1st render of them didn't come out so well, but with work, it'll work, and since all my designs there are path-based, I can color them to any scheme I want!

Thanks for the "clear lines" comment too, Self. (BTW, I've only been using the default Mike and Hiro textures, since I don't yet have Elite)

I was asked for this in the re-render thread, but as it's an original character, I thought I'd post it here. Here's Grinn without the gimmick, and I'll repost the gimmicked up version for comparison's sake.

She's been my User Character for pretty much every game since I rendered her. She floats my boat.

I like specific alts designed with purpose. However, if you've got a colour or two in mind I'll give it a whirl. I don't think it would be too hard.

Dude, that's EPIC.

My 4th of 10 Referees, Tom Tanaka (testing my Ref Stripes--unsuccessfully--on yet another shirt substitute...):

REFEREE TOM TANAKA MAY BE USED IN PUBLIC AND PRIVATE MODS.

(my next few refs'll probably be women...)

Someone playing dress up with the Old Navy mannequin. :p

In all seriousness, that's awesome Clarity. The blur of the background is a really nice touch.

Its based on this:

i have a question for all u render makers.

I am working right now on a new C-verse mod and i am doing the European bit of it. I want to put in at least 15 to 25 new wrestlers so my plan was to go through these pages and look if i can find some wich can fit what i have in mind. Now i know that most off you already give permission to use them in mods. ( i plan to use the ones wich already have permission if not i will ask it before i use it ofcourse)

But through this way i want to ask you all, your permission again to use some off these excellent renders in the c-verce 86 mod.

If you dont want me to use your renders please pm me.

If permission isn't given in this thread, you have to PM the artist directly before you can use the images. Some of the artists might not see your post, so won't know to tell you No. You have to PM them.

All of my renders are free to be used though. Have at them!

well thats what i meant to say.

all i wanted to do is to give a heads up to the people who already gave there permission. so that i only have to pm the people who didnt give permission yet

wich turns out is most off them expect you self.

like i said i am planning to ask permission for all renders. But you are right i didnt think of the fact that they may not see this post.

so i will ask permission trough pm

btw

after going through almost 50 pages all i have to say is :eek::eek:

you guys are really masters.

Good renders MJStark, and good use of MDC's "V4 Mask" too.

But if they've been made correctly, clothing shouldn't have to be "parented", it should simply be "conforming" and should conform well just using the "conform to..." command in the menu next to the File menu, and then selecting your base figure to conform it to.

Once that's done, posing your figure should automatically pose the clothing.

Unless you're using raw OBJ's as props, THEN you need to parent them.
