Original render was made by jhd1, as he so graciously gave me some generic fellows to work with. All of this was done in GIMP...mask, coloring, accessories, and some skin tone work...and I think it turned out well. I like it. I especially like how there's a visible "lip" down the bottom, showing that the fabric is actually sitting on top of the face (keeping it from looking like facepaint). Same could be said for the right armband. Not everyone doing it by hand remembers that even thin fabric has a visible thickness, even if it is very slight (and even that which is skin tight tends to make the surrounding skin bulge out, although that's for another post). I made an entire folder of 2000x2000 sized tiled pics of the Fireworks default Textures and Patterns to use, and I used the "Cotton" texture for the tank and the "Burlap" (I think) for the shorts.
