Looking forward to this, as for Narratives... id forget them, I hate mods that released updates and five years later for example ECW goes bankrupt... what if the promotion was doing well?

I agree. The mods that try to follow reality with potentials and narratives are boring.

I agree, the narratives I am looking at are not so much trying to recreate reality in terms of promotion closures or worker injuries etc. They will be perhaps something that just adds a little more flavour to the game and brings up a few pieces of wrestling history that may have been forgotten.

<p>Alrighty then .... just an update.</p><p> </p><p>

After a period of modders block/computer problems/data loss/general excuses and laziness I have been modding pretty hard on this once again for the last few days.</p><p> </p><p>

Lost location data is sorted, so locations will be actual size (that is 16500 as opposed to 15000 etc).</p><p> </p><p>

A few more workers and alter egos being added as I came across some footage that really helped me out.</p><p> </p><p>

Dojos and graduates have been updated a lot, somewhere around 320 graduates at the moment.</p><p> </p><p>

I'm doing month long test playthroughs with every promotion (yeah, still only got the demo <img alt=":o" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/redface.png.900245280682ef18c5d82399a93c5827.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> ) to make sure they are all playable and balance out any little issues there. </p><p> </p><p>

Still trying to get more angles and storylines sorted which is usually my biggest problem. Once that is done and I get the full version (hopefully next week) then I will be able to do some longer sim testing and see how the data looks over the span of a couple of years and go from there.</p><p> </p><p>

A few more yet to open promotions have been added but whether they make it to release kind of depends on whether or not I like how they sim.</p><p> </p><p>

Still no release date but things are again looking up.</p>

If you are on the lookout for more promotions, feel free to grab any from my mod you might like. I have added a bunch of both current and yet to open promotions for mainly USA and Japan. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

<p>Cheers Hive, I'm tossing up whether to add a couple more.</p><p> </p><p>

In fact, maybe I could throw out a question to anyone interested in playing this mod.</p><p> </p><p>

At the moment I have no active promotions in the UK and I was doing research trying to get one in there. I pretty much set myself the rules when making this mod that if I can't get at least a dozen wrestlers that I am fairly familiar with for a promotion then I won't add it.</p><p> </p><p>

For All Star Wrestling around this time, I have gotten a roster together but the majority of the workers don't appear to be regulars, just guys making shots, which makes things a bit tricky.</p><p> </p><p>

Should I add this promotion to get something going in the UK even if it will more than likely not really play or sim that accurately but might help balance the gameworld a little by just having a UK promotion running or should I leave it out? Or are there any other options you guys can think of?</p>

<p>British wrestling was pretty much on its backside at this time, after World of Sport was taken off ITV in the eighties wrestling in the UK fell behind thanks to the impressive product of the WWF and it pretty much became tribute acts to american wrestling like The Legend of Doom etc....</p><p> </p><p>

So maybe focus on the future of the UK with FWA etc..</p><p> </p><p>

if you need any pointers i dont mind helping when i can so PM me</p>

<p>Yeah doing research I stumbled across lots of dodgy WWF gimmicks with UK in front of the name.</p><p> </p><p>

FWA is a big focus and I am watching some of their old shows again to try to get a few more workers they used in there so by the early 2000s the UK scene will be pretty decent again. I loved that promotion. I might take you up on that PM though.</p>

I should really finish these pictures up soon so BH feels compelled to release the data. Hahaha.

Haha oh dude, I hate to say this but .....

..... I got a few more pictures for you to do. But, for any new workers I added I have at least been making sure I find pics for them to send you so I can save you a bit of time.

And hmmm ..... we got one against a UK promotion and one for. Interesting.

Random question but will the nitro girls be included in this

More than likely only the Nitro Girls who did some managing or were used in storylines will be included. Otherwise they just end up getting released and working as personalities in indy promotions.

Oh and JudgeJuryExecutioner, your guess is as good as mine since I am the world's slowest, most easily distracted mod maker. Whenever I think I am getting close to done, I find something that isn't quite working or I remember something that I should have done before. I feel like a massive jerk taking this long doing a mod but I would rather try to make it as close to complete as possible before release so whatever mistakes slip through are relatively minor ones.

Alright, I need some help here.

I have always had it in my head that Wellington Wilkins Jr and Biff Wellington were two different workers. Online sources such as wikipedia/cagematch/genickbruch which all tend to use each other as references claim they are the same person. Online sources have lied to me before as sometimes all it takes is two guys using the same alter ego for things to get muddled up. But at the same time I don't really trust my own judgment on this anymore.

So, I present to you two videos. If you guys would be kind enough to take a look at them and let me know if you think this is one guy or two different guys that would help me a lot.

That Wellington Wilkins guy looks pretty Japanese to me... and not at all like the guy in the other vid.
