to book a little swerve and maybe heat up the PPV a bit. Backstreets interfere in this match and cost the champs the titles - just so happens they are booked to face the new champs at your PPV - which then bumps the big 3-way dance to becoming a #1 contenders match. This might lead to a transitional champion, a couple quick title changes, or any number or options. Puts New Dawn back in as hunter in search for a 2nd title reign. This may also help increase the heat for the PPV match

<p>NWA TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP - <strong>CM Punk</strong> (champion) v Brian Lawler</p><p> </p><p>

Why? Because Brian Lawler sucked in Memphis, he sucked in the WWF, and now he is going to suck in TNA.<img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Going against the crowd here, New Dawn are still rather new champions. And while I would love to see AK-47 win (I put them together after all) I just do not think they should win at this point.</p><p> </p><p>

PRE SHOW

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Satoshi Kojima defeated Místico in 6:36 by pinfall with a Lariat. D+

Brits Abroad v Eric's Army

Rather than being cocky and arrogant as they have been in the past against teams deemed 'inferior' to themselves, Miller and Douglas were all business tonight against Wolfe and Hero. Bischoff's soldiers did not let up at all in a match they largely dominated and took victory in 6:37 when Ernest Miller defeated Chris Hero by pinfall with a Feliner Kick. C-

Steve Corino cuts a promo backstage where he remarks that he is relishing taking on "the young pretender" Bryan Danielson at Hard Justice and that he intends to teach him what old school wrestling is all about. D+

Full Blooded Italians v Middle Eastern Nightmare

Little Guido was some way off his best tonight, but despite this he and Tony Mamaluke proved to be too good for Abbadon and Sheik Abdul Bashir and considering they are the number one contenders to New Dawn's titles you would expect them to be. FBI's win came in 9:22 when Little Guido defeated Abbadon by pinfall with an Arriverderci. D+

Italy 2 Iran 0

Mike Sanders speaks out about his X Division Championship match upcoming at Hard Justice against the champion, The Amazing Red. Sanders says it is time for The Fringe to become integral players in TNA. These promos tonight aren't being well received so far. E+

Ken Shamrock and Sid Vicious are going at in the crowd, attacking each other near the seats and the concession stands. E+

X DIVISION FEAST OR FIRED BRIEFCASE ON THE LINE

Paul London (holder, with Dusty Rhodes) v Christopher Daniels

A fairly good match that somewhat surprisingly had a lacklustre interest from the crowd. Perhaps they had turned off following the two segments preceding this match. The contest was even and the end came after London missed a shooting star press. This error allowed Daniels to win and claim the X Division Feast or Fired briefcase in 13:02 by pinfall with a Last Rites. Dusty Rhodes is seen at ringside with his head in his hands. C-

A promo that the crowd likes at last as Jeff Jarrett says that he will make CM Punk utter the words "I Quit" at Hard Justice and in doing so will not only win the World Championship but will also put an end to this "New Dawn nonsense". C

TNA X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP

The Amazing Red (champion) v Mike Quackenbush

With Daniels now in possession of the Feast or Fired briefcase, everybody is wonder how quickly, or when, he will case in his new prize. It didn't happen tonight as Red and Quackenbush fought in a match which saw some great action but only an average interest from the seven thousand or so fans in attendance. Red was in the ascendancy when Mike Sanders ran in and attacked him. This forced Mickey Jay to call for the bell in 11:44 as Mike Quackenbush was disqualified when Mike Sanders ran in and attacked The Amazing Red. The Amazing Red makes defence number 4 of his TNA X Division title. The two Mikes continued the beatdown until Evan Karagias ran in to make the save for his New Dawn colleague. C+

'Alpha Male' Monty Brown is in the locker room with Buff 'The Puff' Bagwell, who draws one of the biggest cheers of the night so far. Monty Brown tells Buff that although he is a reluctant partner of Buff at Hard Justice, he will get on with the job at hand. Buff laughs out loud. Monty asks what is so funny. Buff says that Monty just said the he is Buff's partner, is hard and wants to get on with the job. The crowd roar with laughter and more so when Buff plants a kiss on Monty's lips. Monty immediately backs off and slaps Buff hard across the face. Buff's response is odd, he shouts "takei". Monty is puzzled and slaps Buff again and again Buff shouts "takei". Monty tells Buff he is weird and that he won't be standing for no funny stuff. C-

NWA TNA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

New Dawn (champions) v AK-47

A solid match where the champions looked slick and had the better of their challengers for the most part. The Fringe have certainly had their chance to win titles tonight but they haven't taken their chances. The champs retain in 13:36 when Caprice Coleman defeated Kid Kash by pinfall with a Dawn Awakening. New Dawn make defence number 3 of their NWA TNA World Tag Team titles. C

Eric Bischoff is in his backstage office. He says that he has noticed that Ken Shamrock and Sid Vicious seem to like fighting one another, so he has decided to make their Hard Justice match a steel cage match. C-

Bryan Danielson v Jerry Lynn

This was a quality technical wrestling match between two guys who couldn't give a rats about their in ring gimmicks and just focus on the wrestling. Lynn was getting on top when Harley Race and Abyss appeared. Race distracted Rudy Charles which allowed Abyss to climb in the ring and hit Lynn with the Shock Treatment. Danielson capitalised on the opportunity given to him and took the match in 19:43 by submission with an Arms Across America. C

A music video is shown to promote AJ Styles. C

NWA TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

CM Punk (champion) v Brian Lawler

A very disappointing main event and by it's conclusion many of the fans felt a little flat. During the match there were many chants of "Lawler sucks" as Punk gave him a beating for most of the match, he was heard commenting a couple of times that he will show him the right way. Punk won a poor main event in 19:07 by pinfall with a Pepsi Plunge. CM Punk makes defence number 3 of his NWA TNA World Heavyweight title. D

Show rating: D+

The show might have hurt TNA's popularity overall.

A number of angles did not reach the standard of the matches.

Attendance: 7223

AJ gets an assist from the man he helped out earlier in the card, and new tag partner, to win this 4-way. Could set up some nice tag team feuds as the other guys find partners to take on Air Raid (or Air Strike)</p><p> </p><p>

Backstreet in back. Ak-47 should continue to improve as they go against quality teams like the former champs. After this, maybe they can start at the bottom and start getting some wins against lesser teams to improve their standing. They could be a big deal some day.</p><p> </p><p>

too many distractions of Buff as he spots a cute boy at ringside. Double X double teams and gets the win over Brown who can't be too happy.</p>
