<strong>NWA TNA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP</strong></p><p><strong>

Dudleys (champions, with Jimmy Hart) v Happy Bummers</strong></p><p>

The Happy Bummers made things considerably easier for the defending champions when Chris Kanyon performed poorly. His lack of quality in this particular match led to his team struggling to get into the contest and get any momentum going. As a consequence, the Dudleys made a routine defence of the titles in 11:46 when Brother Ray defeated 'Alpha Male' Monty Brown by pinfall with a 3D. Dudleys make defence number 5 of their NWA TNA World Tag Team titles. <strong>C</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>TNA X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP</strong></p><p><strong>

Caprice Coleman (champion) v Ernest Miller (with Jimmy Hart)</strong></p><p>

Some decent action in front of a warming crowd and while this wasn’t the usual fast paced, aerial fest that the X Division has become known for, it was still an engaging contest. Miller was a different type of challenger that Coleman has been used to facing and that posed Coleman some problems and Miller got some near falls. Coleman has talent and kept his nerve to hold on to the championship in 8:33 by pinfall with a Thermal Shock. Caprice Coleman makes defence number 4 of his TNA X Division title. <strong>C</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Ken Shamrock and The Miz speak out on their Bound for Glory IV match against AK-47 in two and a half weeks. Shamrock and Miz are both supremely confident of securing victory “for the good of wrestling and for the Don Vince McMahon”. <strong>C-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>D’Lo Brown (with Jimmy Hart) v Rey Mysterio Jr</strong></p><p>

A great contest between two conflicting styles. D’Lo brought the power to this one and Rey the adrenaline filled risk taking. Adrenaline won as Rey leapt around the ring like a Mexican jumping bean with jalapenos up it’s arse. Rey’s win came in 12:13 by pinfall with a Springboard Hurricanrana. <strong>B-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

John Layfield is backstage, laughing at laying out Little Guido out on the last Impact with a Clothesline from Hell. He is watching it repeatedly on a monitor. He tells Guido not to turn up to Bound for Glory IV unless he wants the same thing to happen again. <strong>C</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>AJ Styles v Maven (with Jimmy Hart)</strong></p><p>

Despite some flashes of great action here, there was a lack of flow and psychology in evidence and the match suffered because of it. AJ came out on top in the match in 9:54 by pinfall with a Styles Clash. <strong>C-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Jeff Jarrett is seen backstage, having watched the last match on a monitor. Happy as Larry, he says he has nothing to worry about at Bound for Glory IV if that is all AJ Styles can do. <strong>C</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>NWA TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP</strong></p><p><strong>

Christian Cage (champion, with Jimmy Hart) v ‘Wildcat’ Chris Harris</strong></p><p>

A good match where the former champion Harris gave his all but came up just short against the reigning champion Cage, although Cage had to use all of his nous and cunning to overcome the resilient challenger. Hart was also a factor, distracting Harris on a couple of occasions when Harris was in a position to potential take back the championship. The conclusion came in 16:34 by pinfall with an Unprettier. Christian Cage makes defence number 7 of his NWA TNA World Heavyweight title. <strong>C+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

After the match, Christian Cage cuts a promo in the ring, saying he will defeat CM Punk as easily as he defeated Chris Harris as he helps the Don of wrestling, Vince McMahon, take over wrestling. <strong>B-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Abyss (with Harley Race) v Satoshi Kojima</strong></p><p>

Abyss tried with a degree of success to use his size and strength to dominate as he has done so well in recent weeks. Kojima is a much higher calibre of opponent and ultra tough, and the Japanese hard man gave as much as he received. Just don’t tell that to Monty Brown. Abyss did come through though to take a valuable victory in 13:54 by pinfall with The Black Hole in what was probably the match of the night. <strong>B-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Behind the entrance curtain, WWE Champion CM Punk speaks to the camera. He says first of all he has to beat Al Snow tonight and after that he will fight for the good of American wrestling. If he loses at Bound for Glory IV and TNA falls under the control of the WWE and the despicable Vince McMahon, then he dreads to think what wrestling will be like not only in the short term, but for years to come. <strong>C+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>WWE CHAMPIONSHIP</strong></p><p><strong>

CM Punk (champion) v Al Snow (with Jimmy Hart)</strong></p><p>

Some great action in front of a hot crowd, who were firmly behind Punk and gave the you suck chants to not only Al Snow, but also Vince McMahon. Punk wrestled with purpose and was firmly in control under an intervention from Jimmy Hart allowed Snow to finally get the upper hand. Punk fought on the defensive for some time until he found himself an opening to come back into the match which led to it’s ending in 19:53 by pinfall with a Pepsi Plunge. CM Punk makes defence number 2 of his WWE title. <strong>C+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

USA I (Happy Bummers) v International (Little Guido & Prince Nana) (1-0 in series)[/b]

Happy Bummers were far too good as a unit for their International opponents and made fairly short work in a routine victory, which came in 5:56 when Chris Kanyon defeated Prince Nana by pinfall with a Flatliner. D+

USA I win series 2-0 to reach the semi finals.

A video plays highlighting the Dudleys’ arrival in TNA and their reign as Tag Team Champions. B-

Harley Race speaks out about how Abyss is going to destroy everybody on his path back to the top of TNA. C+

AK-47 v Divine Storm

Aries and Kash mainly dominated an average match which Divine Storm struggled to get into. The former champions comfortably dispatched the opposition in 5:51 when Austin Aries defeated Quiet Storm by pinfall with a 450° splash. D+

Another bizarre promo is cut by Goldust on ‘Wildcat’ Chris Harris. In this one, he compares Gordon the poo stained golden dildo to ‘The Don’ Vince Mahon, stating that both stand tall and stand proud at the peak. Harris comes running in, screaming he’s going to maim Goldust, but a bevvy of security just gets there in time to save Goldust from a mauling. C+

Al Snow speaks out on ‘Big Black Love Muscle’ Monty Brown, saying he will take him out at Bound for Glory IV as “The Don doesn’t like queers”. C

’Cowboy’ James Storm v Johnny Kashmere

A slight improvement in quality but overall the wrestling thus far tonight has been a little disappointing. Cowboy just about edged the battle of two wrestlers looking to get into a decent position in the roster rankings. His victory came in 10:57 by pinfall with a Top Rope Bulldog. C-

Ken Shamrock is with The Miz, who are obviously confident of winning their match against AK-47 by the nature of their language and expressions. C+

Kevin Kelly speaks to John Layfield about Bound for Glory IV. The pair laugh about The Don controlling all of wrestling and there is not anything that any TNA has beens and never will bes can do about it. C

Desmond Wolfe v D’Lo Brown (with Jimmy Hart) v Evan Karagias v Lance Storm (with Jimmy Hart)

Although this was a fatal four way first fall wins match, it essentially became a tornado tag match with the TNA duo facing off against the WWE Invaders duo. The match was the best yet tonight and had plenty of excitement and close falls. In the end, the WWE Invaders prevailed in 13:10 when D'Lo Brown defeated Evan Karagias by pinfall with a Low Down. C+

Rey Mysterio Jr speaks from backstage, saying how much he is looking forward to wrestling Jerry Lynn and putting on a classic match, and that he wants to play his part in ensuring not only the survival of TNA, but the long term thriving of the company. B-

Jeff Jarrett is in the ring, continuing Christian Cage’s theme from earlier, where he says The Don will rule wrestling. AJ Styles sprints to the ring, attacks Jarrett and then lays him out with a Styles Clash. Styles stands over the prone Jarrett, telling him that he disgusts him, he is throwing the company he creating to the wolves in WWE. B-

Christian Cage (NWA TNA World Heavyweight Champion), Dudleys (Tag Team Champions) & Maven (with Jimmy Hart) v CM Punk (WWE Champion), Caprice Coleman (X Division Champion) & New Announce Team (Joel Maximo & The Amazing Red)

The main event was definitely the match of the night and the action was intense as all eight men fought for their respective company and in some case as if their titles was on the line too. All the champions were present in the match, along with their respective challengers at TNA’s biggest show in a couple of weeks. The battle went back and forth, spilling in and out of the ring as Robert Brisko struggling to maintain control of the match. When the fat lady started singing, it was again Caprice Coleman who gained the winning fall, which now sees Coleman having defeated Christian Cage, Jeff Jarrett and Brother Ray in the last three weeks. His huge roll continued in 18:21 when Caprice Coleman defeated Brother Ray by pinfall with a Thermal Shock. B-

Show rating: C+

The show can be considered a success and should increase TNA’s popularity.

Some of the angles did not reach the standard of the ring action.
