fullMETAL
Jr. and Tag belts are actually in my pipeline and should be finished soon since I plan for these to be made for my NWA Domination REMIX mod (which may never see the light of day, actually). I also plan a Global Hardcore Crown, maybe even a women's title.
liontamer
After a long hiatus, I finally had some time on my hands. Here's the current state of the Hardy belt. I believe this finishes the main plate. Now probably have room for two side plates and I'll finish the strap. (the TNA logo was left off on purpose to allow others to use as desired for their promotions, I can add it later). May also add the creepy eyes I had in one of my other versions even though it's not part of the actual belt. BTW fullmetal, you've had some nice stuff since I last peeked my head in here. Good work. So in looking for good pics of the side plates, I'm noticing that there seems to be a few different versions of the color scheme, some all gold, some all silver, some part gold and part silver, so I'll add a few alts shortly to the above post since that's a quick fix using the template. But more importanly, I learned in my search that Jeff Hardy recently had the belt made even uglier, check out the new design below. I hope this doesn't show up in TNA. http://www.sescoops.com/wrestling-news/tna/pictures-of-jeff-hardys-new-immortal-championship-belt/attachment/810/ or here http://topropebelts.com/gallery/custom-wrestling-belts/jeff-hardys-omega-enigmatic-championship-belt/ And apparantly shannon moore has a belt now too http://topropebelts.com/gallery/career-legacy-belts/shannon-moores-dilligaf-title/ updated to add the other versions and a random blue version that came up while I edited. All versions were made using the template included, which also made editing the colors afterwards very very easy. all gold [ blue partial gold, partial silver template
liontamer
Here's the side plate template. Once I've added the metallic look (which I'll add to this post below), I'm just going to flip and colorize for the other side as this took over 8 hrs already. Here is the silver and Here is the gold I'll put it together later, probably just and all gold version, vs all the different combos unless sombody wants something specific. Did showing the templates and earlier steps help at all? For aspiring belt makers feel free to ask questions. This stuff is fresh in my head so now is the best time for me to answer them and help you out. Also Next on my agenda is figuring out what to do for the Swoop World Title (at least I think swoop was the one requested a few months back), I'm open to suggestions. liontamer
Here's the finished product ()anyone know how to make the blinds/stitching warp to the belt shape, I don't like the way it looks in the curves)
fullMETAL
I gotta say, I think you worked WAAAAAY too hard on this, LT. You could try the equivalent of what I do--I make my stroke into a dotted one (with no spacing), make it only inside-path, then Inner Bevel:Down on it. It works almost perfectly as a duplicate for the "scallop" tooling used by most of the current beltmakers on their leather.
fullMETAL
In the meantime, while I try to psyche myself back up to finish my first batch of requests, I finished these generic-use belt renders up a few weeks ago and last night, respectively. (based off the NWA Missouri title) http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx166/FullMetalitia/Belts/GenericWorldSingles-MissouriStyle_fM.jpghttp://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx166/FullMetalitia/Belts/GenericWorldSingles-MissouriStyle.jpg http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx166/FullMetalitia/Belts/MissouriStyle_lg.png (based off JMar's ECW TV title) http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx166/FullMetalitia/Belts/GenericECWTV_fM.jpghttp://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx166/FullMetalitia/Belts/GenericECWTV.jpg http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx166/FullMetalitia/Belts/GenericECWTV_lg.jpg BOTH BELTS MAY BE USED IN PUBLIC AND PRIVATE MODS. liontamer
Thanks for the tip. I played with it a bit tonight and noticed a few issues preventing me from doing that. One is that aside from the default dashed line (dashes too long and skinny to be useful), I can't seem to get the connecting line out of any attempts I make to have anything but a straight line (ruins the bevel). The second, is that ppx2 only seems to allow upward bevels, so I can't carve inward, only outward. I'll keep looking though to see what I can find as that is something I'll need for all belts going forward. And time-wise yes I did work too hard, but it was fun and I learned a lot. Also have some ideas on how I could have possibly saved a lot of time with the tracings, which was the bulk of the work. My goal here was to make it look as real as possible and I think I did well and have a few ideas on how to make the main plate look better based on things I did on the side plates. I will be using a few things I learned here on some of the custom titles I want to try out for C-verse characters. Also since I was asked via pm, I'm not currently doing requests. This is my first belt in many many months, possibly a year or more. going to try a few choice belts and then if I have enough time I will consider taking requests again. I also lost all of my clipart when the old compluter died, so I currently have nothing to put on the belts. However you can post requests here if you'd like and some of the other belt makers viewing the thread are free to take a stab at it as they have in the past. You might even get a few different versions depending on how many people give it a try. speaking of which, is linsolv still around making belts? I'm curious to see how he's coming along. fullMETAL
I think it bears mentioning that your side plate is...a bit off-angled (a simple rotation a few degrees would fix that). Oddly enough, that seems to fit with the general tone of the belt itself, but it gives me pause eveyr time I look at it...

sockpuppet
I have some (rare) free time and a new computer and I figured I'd play with Photoshop while I was attempting to rebuild my runtime. fullMETAL
Sockpuppet, these logos are definitely inspiring me to reconsider running a AAA game on both '05 and '10. Guest Asaemon
I got inspired to do a INSPIRE belt after scouting workers in the demo versions editor. liontamer
nice logos sock puppet I got inspired to do a INSPIRE belt after scouting workers in the demo versions editor. I was looking for workers and hybrid promotions that i could create in my WMMA game. http://i1230.photobucket.com/albums/ee489/asaemon/WMMA3/Belts/INSPIREbelt.gif the plates on this look really good. play with belt texture some to try to bring the strap up to par and this will be a pretty nice belt. Also I was able to grab it just in the nick of time, but thought I'd post as an FYI for aspiring belt makers.... I found out that every couple of months newegg has been having corel photoshop and video studio onsale for free after rebate. not a bad deal. I was about to purchase x3, but instead got x4 for free (it's what I use).
