5/5 Woooo Hooo!!! :D

Great show, jhd1!

I LOVED "The Oracles of Destruction"! Mostly because they look Bad Ass & remind myself of a team I would probably create as well. ha. They should be a great tandem to write for &, potentially, great monster heel Tag Champs down the road!

Love "The Expert"! You've done a great job of taking the classic "professor" persona (from back in the 80's mostly) and made it unique in itself. Very good work.

Also, It was great to see Bruce go over James. Mostly because I'm not a HUGE James fan & I'm a rather big Bruce the Giant mark. ha. Shockingly, though, only a "C" grade? That's crazy!

Loved what you did with this episode!

Thanks Eisen! I thought you'd like The Oracles, they are definitely a great pairing and add fresh blood to the tag division - something I'm definitely looking to do in this diary.

Again, I'm glad you like where I'm going with Stern - you named him after all!

As for the C, I'm reasonably happy with it. A large divide quickly arises in USPW between the popularity of the main eventers and the lower card which drags the shows down a bit.

Yet another great show, the grades don't do justice to what you're booking and writing man but it was a storming show.

I love the Professor segments, always a great read and I'm slowly begining to hate that man like I hate CM Punk (its good hate, his character rocks- both men)

5/5 and top of the predictions, screwing hell I can't believe that.

Ares and Zeus I'm having trouble placing...Bouncer and Ronnie V. Pain?

Des Davids alt....YES! More reason to push that man now :) I'm skipping college tomorrow thats now my plan :)

Dude this diary along with Big Papa, Angeldelayette and Eisen Verse is the only one I'm really keeping up with...

Its a good year to be a diary reader with people like you around buddy :)

Thanks SWF Fan, I really appreciate that. As you can probably tell, all three of those writers have had a big influence on me and all three writers have been a huge help in creating this diary.

Des Davids alts - before I showed the initial alts to jtlant, I didn't even know Davids was black! Like yourself, I never really 'got' him but new render = new life right!?

And yes, Ares and Zeus are Hell's Bouncer and Man Mountain Cahill respectively.

Nice I get a 5/5.

I was amazed with the Des Davids alts and also The Oracles of Destruction. Definitely marking out.

Good show jhd1 keep it up!

Thanks Mystery.

Solid, entertaining show. Like the alts as well. Keep up the great work.

Cheers BP.

Great show. I said earlier that you do a fantastic job of giving this a very legit "feel"

Hard to put into word but all these segments feel exactly like I'd expect a company like USPW to feel.

Very vivid characters.

And of course, love the alts.

(Enygma's catchphrase was cool. Hoping he keeps coming back to it or at least contiues down that path: I'm the Destroyer of Worlds, The Light at the End of The Tunnel, etc)

I said I would try and turn you around on Enygma! To be honest, his catchphrase was completely spur of the moment. I had written everything but Enygma's promo but I really wanted to get the show posted yesterday so, that promo just, well, happened. I'm definitely going to go down that route but I'll be a running fine line between face and heel if I'm not careful...

I am really glad you're enjoying the shows and that you feel the realism, if that's the right word, comes across.

Good show, like what you are doing with Enygma, I'll be sure and jump in on the predictions for the next one.

Glad to have you on board BYU!

USPW American Wrestling

January, Week 4, 2010

Peter Valentine & The Towers of Power vs. The Force & The People's Team

Six-man tag time on American Wrestling when Peter Valentine teams with fellow Sneer Corporation members The Towers of Power against The Force and tag team champion partners, The People's Team. Having spent the last few weeks battling for control of the National Championship, The Force and Peter Valentine are at boiling point while The Towers have got their eyes on The People's Team's titles - they'll meet in a few days time.

Will the Force be with The People, or will Valentine and co. do some industrial demolition of their own?

The Oracles of Destruction vs. The Hillbillys

Having made an excellent start to their USPW career the team of Ares and Zeus will look to keep up their momentum against The Hillbillys. The Hillbillys meanwhile will be looking to kickstart a disappointing January with a first victory of the year.

Will The Hillbillys prove The Oracle's debut victory was merely beginners luck, or will Ares and Zeus show that the Hillbillys are nothing but ancient history?

Nicky Champion vs. Anger

Both of these men appear to be in limbo currently in USPW. That said, the momentum seems to be on Champion's side after a solid victory over Nicky Champion last week.

Will Champion take another veteran scalp, or will Nicky end up in Anger management?

Alicia Strong vs. Cherry Bomb

With both of these women missing out on a place at the company's first PPV, they will want to take this opportunity to shine and make sure that next time, they get there.

Will a victory for Cherry be the icing on the cake, or will Alicia prove to be a little too Strong?

Enygma vs. Darryl Devine

With World Champion Enygma busy preparing for his title defence on Sunday, Darry Devine will be the last person he would want to meet tonight. 'Mighty Fine' has got a point to prove against the champ after losing last week but Enygma will want to avoid going into our first PPV with a defeat on his shoulders.

Can Enygma keep his preparations intact, or will Devine show the world that he's ready to play with the big boys?

Plus, discover the backlash of the chaotic end to last week's show, and who said wrestling wasn't educational? Professor Stern will once again take to the stand, only on USPW American Wrestling!

Quick Picks...

Peter Valentine & The Towers of Power vs. The Force & The People's Team

The Oracles of Destruction vs. The Hillbillys

Nicky Champion vs. Anger

Alicia Strong vs. Cherry Bomb

Enygma vs. Darryl Devine

Peter Valentine & The Towers of Power vs. The Force & The People's Team

- I think Valentine will take it because of his buddy Mr. Strong, but that doesn't mean I can't despise Valentine enough to hope he loses!

The Oracles of Destruction vs. The Hillbillys

- C'mon. The Hillbilly's are fat jobbers.

Nicky Champion vs. Anger

- I like Anger, but he'll always be one half of the Demons of Rage. Nicky is one for the future, but the nearish future.

Alicia Strong vs. Cherry Bomb

- The talent!

Enygma vs. Darryl Devine

- Devine is definitely one for the future ...however, Enygma is currently "The Man", and so takes this win.

Peter Valentine & The Towers of Power vs. The Force & The People's Team

Force's team takes it by DQ and the Sneer Corp try to wear down their opponents at the PPV.

The Oracles of Destruction vs. The Hillbillys

The Magic Eight Ball says: No chance for the Hillbillys.

Nicky Champion vs. Anger

I think everyone knows I Love Anger but Nicky is moving forward.

Alicia Strong vs. Cherry Bomb

I think Belle takes the Women's Title at the pay-per-view so Alicia gets some action as her first challenger afterward.

Enygma vs. Darryl Devine

Devine is the future but Enygma is a Van Halen song: right now.

Great shows so far! A lot of fun to watch how you handle things on the USPW end as compared to me. Love the alts as well!

Peter Valentine & The Towers of Power vs. The Force & The People's Team

Sneer Corporation get the upper hand going into the PPV

The Oracles of Destruction vs. The Hillbillys

The pig farmers are back on job duty. I think even USPW fans would realise they are pure wrestle-crap.

Nicky Champion vs. Anger

Champion is gradually being groomed as a future champion and Anger may be a 'legend' but his legend was built as a Tag competitor.

Alicia Strong vs. Cherry Bomb

Daddy's girl gets the win here.

Enygma vs. Darryl Devine

More beneficial to keep the World Champ strong right now, than to try and spike Devine's pop with an upset win.

THE RATINGS GAME

Monday Week 4 January 2010

With three weeks of ratings in since the move to Tuesday nights, things were looking promising for the team of Sam Strong and J.K. Stallings Jr. Despite a small dip in the viewing figures for the last show, American Wrestling appeared to have pulled a small yet significant, and most importantly consistent, chunk of viewers from the 'big two.' And if things carried on in a similar vein then Sports America would be more than happy.

Much smaller than the networks showing SWF and TCW programming, Sports America had suddenly jumped from 'just another sports channel' to one of the most talked about networks around, the network that dared to stand up and be counted. Still, if viewers started to leave then it would not only be USPW that got the criticism, but its now highly regarded broadcasting partner. Constant communication between Stallings, Strong, Wright and the network meant that more plans were being laid down, more deals done, and more money spent on keeping the rise of United States Pro Wrestling, and ultimately Sports Ameria, going.

As January neared its end, preparations were in full swing for arguably the most important night in USPW's history. Whilst the first live show was crucial for the new era of the company, its first ever PPV would decide whether the era was going to last longer than a few months. U-Demand had been airing USPW clips since the deal was signed at the beginning of the month, whilst Sports America had graciously offered to air the PPV ads, despite having no profit in doing so. Possibly the best advert for Stars, Stripes and Slams! was front page of StallCorp's website, heading each of it's emails and included in it's popular 'You are an Email' TV spots. With such a huge push behind it, the Board were hoping for...no...expecting a show to meet the hype. This wasn't just a war of words. No, USPW had just started playing...

...the ratings game.

<hr color="black">

Show #4 will be posted sometime tomorrow.

Quick Picks...

<p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><strong>Peter Valentine & The Towers of Power</strong></span><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> vs. The Force & The People's Team</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

</span><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><span style="font-size:8px;">Just because I think Valentine outweights everyone in this scenario. It's possible for him to lose but I don't see it happening.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

</span><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><strong>The Oracles of Destruction</strong></span><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> vs. The Hillbillys</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

</span><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><span style="font-size:8px;">The Hillbillys are pretty much your JOB-Squad. So, with that being said, the bad-ass-looking OD's walk away with the victory pretty easily; makes them look like a 'top-notch' tag team in the process.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

</span><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><strong>Nicky Champion</strong></span><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> vs. Anger</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

</span><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><span style="font-size:8px;">New School vs. Old School; new school shows he's 'making an impact' with a victory.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

Alicia Strong vs. </span><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><strong>Cherry Bomb</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

</span><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><span style="font-size:8px;">I LOVE Cherry Bomb, so, this is more of a personal choice versus anything else. She, and she alone, makes me want to create a women's division in the DOA as I would LOVE to get my hands on her character. </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

</span><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><strong>Enygma</strong></span><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> vs. Darryl Devine</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

</span><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><span style="font-size:8px;">'Double D' puts up a good fight but loses in the end. Enygma is far to important to your Main Event roster to see him lose to 'Double D'. I'm thinking you're going to reserve all of his losses to when they're needed (much like Bruce the Giant).</span></span></p>

It's Tuesday January Week 4

and we are live from the sold out Huntsville Fairgrounds!

UNITED STATES PRO WRESTLING PRESENTS...

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/USPW/USPWAmericanWrestling.jpg

[We're back in the Huntsville Fairgrounds theatre for the last episode of American Wrestling before Sunday's PPV, Stars, Stripes & Slams! Our hosts, as always, Danny Jillefski and Micky Starr...]

Your Announce Team:

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/USPW/Cards/DannyJillefski.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/USPW/Cards/MickyStarr.jpg

Danny Jillefski and 'Mighty' Micky Starr

Danny Jillefskii: It's Tuesday, it's prime time and you are at the place to be for American Wrestling, I'm Danny Jillefski...

Micky Starr: And I'm Micky Starr. Look Danny, Sam Strong is already in the ring...

[unusually for USPW American Wrestling Sam Strong is already in the ring, though that doesn't stop the raucous crowd chanting his name...]

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/USPW/Cards/SamStrong.jpg

Sam Strong: Thank you, thank you. Now you all know that since I replaced Corporal Doom as the authority for this show I've taken a pretty hard line on cheating, or 'playing outside of the rules' as some people like to call it. We saw again last week that T-Rex cannot resist interfering in matches that are not his concern. In fact, were it not for Chris Caulfield, there is a distinct possibility that James Justice might not be fit enough to wrestle for you all tonight...

[The crowd simultanouesly boo T-Rex's actions and cheer at the mention of Justice and Caulfield...]

Sam Strong: As I said, if it wasn't for Chris Caulfield.

So, T-Rex I want you to come to this ring and we'll decide what the fans think I should do with you.

[The deafening sound of a dinosaur's roar accompanies the muscular physique entering the ring...]

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/USPW/Cards/T-Rex.jpg

T-Rex: Do what you want Strong, there's nothing you can throw at me that I can't handle!

[The sarcastic tone with which Sam Strong's name was mentioned was greeted by a chorus of jeers from the fans...]

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/USPW/Cards/SamStrong.jpg

Sam Strong: As I said 'Rex, I'm not deciding this one, the people are. So I want everyone to give me a cheer if they want to see T-Rex take on James Justice tonight...

[...the crowd roars in agreement...]

Sam Strong: Sounds promising. Okay, I want you to all let me know if you want T-Rex to face Chris Caulfield this evening...

[...an evening bigger cheer...]

Sam Strong: Okay, how about...T-Rex...in a handicap match....against...

James Justice and Chris Caulfield?

[...this cheer nearly brings the roof off as T-Rex angrily throws his microphone out of the ring and storms backstage.]

Segment Rating: B

Jillefski: All the cheaters around better watch out - Sam Strong's coming after you!

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/USPW/Cards/PeterValentine.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/USPW/Cards/DannyRushmore.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/USPW/Cards/MickMuscles.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/USPW/Cards/VS.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/USPW/Cards/JimForce.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/USPW/Cards/FreddieDatsun.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/USPW/Cards/DesDavids-1.jpg

Peter Valentine & The Towers of Power vs. The Force & The People's Team

This was a classic grudge match with each team sharing an unbearable hatred towards the other. All six men saw action as the momentum swung from one team to the other. Despite some great offensive moves from both teams, neither seemed to want to bring the match to a close, instead choosing to inflict as much damage on their rival as possible. After a hot tag by Danny Rushmore sent Peter Valentine into the ring, the fan favourites began to suffer. Taking out The Force and Datsun stood on the outside, Valentine began to focus on legal man Des Davids. Sending the former football star into his team's corner, Valentine began distracting the referee whilst his partners inflicted as much unseen damage as possible. When The Force and Datsun tried to climb in and rescue their opponent all they succeeded in doing was allow the cheating to continue as Baby Jamie ran to keep them from entering. With The Towers holding Davids ready Valentine grabbed him and hit the Heart Breaker, a big shoulder breaker. As Valentine covered the Tag Team Champion, The Towers hopped back to the outside and three taps of the mat later the three Corporation members were victorious.

Peter Valentine & The Towers of Power win at 8:25 via pinfall

Match Rating: D

Jillefski: Remember folks, Peter Valentine will defend his title against Jim, sorry The Force at Stars, Stripes, and Slams!

Starr: Danny, you forgot about The People's Team...they're facing off against The Towers on Sunday too...

Jillefski: It's no wonder that match was so brutal!

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/USPW/Cards/NickyChampion.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/USPW/Cards/VS.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/USPW/Cards/Anger.jpg

Nicky Champion vs. Anger

Even though his partner retired some years ago, Anger will always be known as a tag team legend and in truth, the former Tag Team Champion looked a little lost against the much younger Nicky Champion. Some great wrestling from both men surprised few in the audience but it was Nicky Champion's agility that got him quickly, and solidly, in front. A swift Hawkeye Hammer just after the five minute mark sealed the deal.

Nicky Champion wins in 5:48 via pinfall

Match Rating: C

Starr: Everyone's favourite host...well other than myself and Danny of course...Davis Ditterich is standing by...

[We're backstage for the next segment, where Davis Ditterich is stood in the well-lit, newsroom-esque location that has become known to fans as the USPW Event Centre. As always, the video wall behind Ditterich is cycling through classic clips from the USPW vaults...]

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/USPW/Cards/DavisDitterich.jpg

Davis Ditterich: Welcome folks, I'm your USPW Event Centre host, Davis Ditterich.

Now you all know that on Sunday USPW will be holding it's first ever pay-per-view event, Stars, Stripes and Slams! only on U-Demand. And what a line-up we have in store...

USPW World Champion Enygma will defend his title against one half of the Titans, Tyson Baine. Meanwhile, in one last grudge match Bruce the Giant will face off against joint number one contender, Chris Caulfield, with the winner earning a shot at the World Champion. Having won the right to face Raven Robinson at PPV three weeks ago, Belle Bryden will want to put all her experience to good use in their Women's Title Match. Finally, USPW Tag Team Champions The People's Team will defend their titles against The Towers of Power.

Okay, well earlier on this evening I had a chance to talk with Shane Sneer and his client, Jumbo Jackson...

[The video wall behind Ditterich fades away to reveal a suited Jumbo Jackson stood next to an equally executive-looking Shane Sneer...]

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/USPW/Cards/ShaneSneer.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/USPW/Cards/JumboJackson.jpg

Shane Sneer: It won't be any surprise to the small, intelligent, minority of USPW fans but I may be stood next to the finest talent in the Sneer Corporation.

Even though Peter is our National Champion, and The Towers of Power are about to become tag team champions, Jumbo here has got all the talent in the world, but unlike the others he's always been cheated out of his chances.

Well, that's about to change.

Whatever it takes, I'm going to make sure that Jackson gets where he belongs, and all you snivelling rats on the front row can stop cheering for Enygma, or Jones, or Freddie Datsun

...because the only names you'll need to know

...are Jumbo

...and Jackson.

[As the image of Jackson and Sneer fades away, Ditterich turns back to address the camera]

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/USPW/Cards/DavisDitterich.jpg

Davis Ditterich: Well, Shane Sneer and his, er, finest client Jumbo Jackson with a few words about, er, something. You may have noticed but, unusually, our Television Champion Andre Jones isn't participating in any matches tonight. Well earlier on, he told me why...

[This time the wall fades to an image of former volleyball star, and current Television champion, Andre Jones. Rather than being in his wrestling gear, Jones is stood in casual sports equipment with a large volleyball logo on his shirt front...]

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/USPW/Cards/AndreJones.jpg

Andre Jones: Yo, yo, yo! It's everyone's favourite USPW Television Champion here, Andre Jones.

I know what you're thinking, why can't I see my favourite Television Champion in the ring this week. Well, I'm gonna' let you all in on a little secret...

...there's no-one left for me to face. I've been fighting the aging dregs of this company for weeks and, well, we've run out. Captain USA? Old, useless, crazy. Savage Fury? Bald, useless, ugly.

And now, none of the 'big names' in this company dare face me for my title...wimps...and all the wasters at the bottom have been left on the wayside as the Jones TV Express carries on its way.

It seems that in USPW, just like in life....

…no one can compete with The Jones!

[And with that firm declaration from Jones, the video wall returns to its classic montage in time for Davis Ditterich to bid all the viewers farewell.]

Segment Rating: D

Starr: You know what Danny? I could take him...

Jillefski: Micky, I wouldn't try it. Could you imagine the insults that he could think up for you?

Starr: Hey...what's that supposed to mean!?

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/USPW/Cards/HellsBouncer.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/USPW/Cards/ManMountainCahill.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/USPW/Cards/VS.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/USPW/Cards/AlTheHillbilly.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/USPW/Cards/PeteTheHillbilly.jpg

The Oracles of Destruction vs. The Hillbillys

Having beaten Savage Fury last week, the team of Ares and Zeus barely broke a sweat against the unfortunate Hillbillys. Pete and Al only managed to get in one tag in this match, with a battered and bruised Pete letting his partner share the pain about half way through this four minute squash. When the nervous Hillbilly took a little too long entering the ring Ares marched over to their corner and dragged him in over the middle rope. After softening him up in a matter of seconds, Ares called to Zeus and their tag finisher, Lightning of the Gods, put Al away for three.

The Oracles win in 4:19 via pinfall

Match Rating: E+

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/USPW/Cards/Java.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/USPW/Cards/TribalWarrior.jpg

[As the referee raised The Oracles' hands in triumph they stopped, pulling their arms back. At the end of the entranceway stood Tribal Warrior and Java, also known as Savage Fury. Both teams stared in each others' direction but neither pair moved towards the other and eventually Fury back off through the curtain...]

Segment Rating: D

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/USPW/Cards/AliciaStrong.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/USPW/Cards/VS.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/USPW/Cards/CherryBomb.jpg

Alicia Strong vs. Cherry Bomb

With nothing more than pride on the line, Alicia Strong and Cherry Bomb did themselves no harm in this all-out bout. Neither Strong nor Cherry could get a strong hold on the match and the spectators were provided a real spectacle in wrestling entertainment.

However, things looked set to change as Cherry managed to trap Strong in the corner. With nowhere to go Alicia was at Bomb's mercy and she was repeatedly rammed by her opponent's shoulder. With Strong looking out of it, Cherry dragged her by the hair into the centre of the ring and lifted both hands in the air...Cherry Bomb! As Cherry lifted Strong into her tiger bomb finisher the crowd held it's breath...reversal! Alicia reversed the Cherry Bomb into a hurricanrana pin...Alicia won!

Alicia Strong wins in 9:52 via pinfall

Match Rating: D+

Jillefski: Wow! I did not see that reversal coming!

Starr: Every week USPW fans get treated to the greatest wrestling on the planet and these women just proved that.

Darryl Devine (w/Seduction) vs. Enygma

This match had all the potential for an upset but unfortunately for Darryl Devine, the audience never got to see one. Enygma looked comfortable throughout, and whilst Devine never looked weak, he never seemed able to match the skill of the World Champion. After five minutes cleverly spent wearing down his opponent's right leg, Enygma signalled to the crowd...Enygma Variation! With the scissored ankle lock applied, Devine tapped furiously on the mat to give Enygma one more win before his big title defence on Sunday.

Enygma wins in 5:56 by submission

Match Rating: C

[As the winner's name is announced, the music of Tyson Baine hits the building PA, but surprisingly Baine doesn't head towards the ring, choosing instead to hurl abuse at the champion from the safety of the aisle. Things are definitely at boiling point between these two and in five days time, things are going to explode!]

Segment Rating: B

Starr: What a...

Jillefski: Match folks...what a match! Enygma couldn't wish for anything more before his match on Sunday.

Starr: Tyson Baine looks one angry man Danny!

Jillefski: That's true. Even with that win, I'm not sure I'd want to be in Enygma's place come Stars, Stripes and Slams!

[With the ring area cleared the camera points towards the videotron as it comes to life, the rolling image of a lecture room filling the large framed screen...]

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/USPW/Cards/HenryLee.jpg

Professor Stern: Welcome class. Last week saw a record number of letters received by my office.

If you wish to send me any letters, questions, compliments then feel free to do so – every letter sent to me gets exactly the same treatment....

....I throw them in the bin!

Do you think I have time to answer your pathetic questions? This is a class not a debate. If I wanted your input, I would ask for it!

Now, today's lesson will be about the tactics of tag team wrestling. Take a look at this video of last week's match between The Oracles of Destruction and Savage Fury....

[As has become a custom on USPW American Wrestling, Professor Stern turns to one side, switching on the nearby TV set to show highlights of last week's match. As with each of his previous 'lectures' this highlight reel focuses heavily against the fan favourites...]

Professor Stern: Right, I hope everyone payed attention because this lesson will not take long. I do believe someone recently summed Java and Tribal Warrior up perfectly...Savage Jobbers. The Oracles on the other hand, clearly phenominal specimens of this sport, had absolutely no trouble in defeating the two barbarians. Talk like savages, act like savages, wrestle like little girls.

Tag Team wrestling isn't just about team work, it is about stopping your opponents from working together and making sure that when the ref's back is turned you take advantage. See the corner work by The Oracles compared to the unruly mess that is Java's ring work. As covered in lesson one, methodical targetting of a single part severely weakens the whole and The Oracles didn't even break a sweat.

And, as if it needed explaining, the double team finisher – Lightning of the Gods – is an excellent example of using size to your advantage...

[...once again Stern looks irritated as the mumble voice off-screen is heard...]

Professor Stern: ...be quiet you miserable man. Fine, it seems we've run out of time, but do I need to go on? No - everything, as always, is crystal clear.

But before I go, I want to know something....do you all feel lucky? Do you all feel privileged?

Because you should...

...it's not everyday you get a lesson from an expert.

Segment Rating: B+

Starr: He's an expert alright, an expert...

Jillefski: ...and moving on...

Chris Caulfield & James Justice vs. T-Rex (w/Sheik Mustafa)

Despite being the second handicap match in as many weeks, this bout was unrecognisable from the one mere weeks ago. Caulfield and Justice were an efficient team, not allowing T-Rex to get any rhythm going by constantly swapping the legal man. After several minutes, being outnumbered began to take a toll on T-Rex's stamina and he began to look sluggish. With the ever-wily Sheik Mustafa on the outside, however, Rex wasn't done yet. When Mustafa tripped Chris Caulfield as he bounced off the ring ropes Justice clambered into the ring, determined to get retribution. Sending T-Rex flying straight into the referee, James Justice slid back outside and began chasing Sheik Mustafa around the ring. With Justice occupied and Caulfield out, Rex saw his chance. Heading over to his opponent's corner, T-Rex grabbed Chris Caulfield's chair and started back toward the ring. Chris Caulfield never knew what hit him as the steel collided with his back, sending him crashing to the mat. Hearing the thud, Justice turned and headed towards the ring before pulling his partner out of harms way.

As Caulfield lay sprawled out on the outside, Mustafa turned on the unsuspecting Justice, hitting his head into the steel ringpost. Still clutching the steel chair, T-Rex climbed outside and ran headlong into Justice crashing the seat into his opponent's head. As the referee came to he called for the bell as T-Rex stood alone in the middle of the ring looking on triumphantly...

Chris Caulfield & James Justice win in 11:42 via disqualification

[With officials pouring in from backstage to restrain T-Rex and to check on the seemingly unconcsious Chris Caulfield and James Justice outside the ring, the crowd goes wild at the sight of the individual stood at the top of the aisle...]

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/USPW/Cards/SamStrong.jpg

Sam Strong: Okay, clearly what I've been saying hasn't quite got through to you because last time I checked, using a weapon constitutes breaking the rules. So, T-Rex you'll be watching Stars, Stripes and Slams from home because you are banned from stepping one foot in that arena!

[And on that bombshell Sam Strong's music signals the end of this episode of American Wrestling!]

Match Rating: C, Segment Rating: B

Jillefski: That's all we've got time for folks - remember Sunday night, U-Demand, it's USPW Stars, Stripes and Slams!

Starr: See you in Nashville everybody!

Hope you all enjoyed the show! I've decided to try out using [ ] to make non-speech parts of segments a bit clearer. If anyone has any particular views either way feel free to let me know.

No alts this week unfortunately, but there will be more coming soon enough!

As always, a big thanks to everyone who has predicted. Well done to MichiganHero, Liamo, The Mystery, SeanMcFly, Jingo, tigerkinney, BHK, and smurphy who all got 5/5 correct! Everyone did well this week so the leader board now looks like this...

1. SWF Fan and tigerkinney...18

2. angeldelayette, Eisen-verse, BHK and The Mystery...17

3. xopher, smurphy and SeanMcFly...16

4. Phantom Stranger, Bigpapa42 and jingo...15

5. The Shape...13

The card preview for the PPV will be up sometime tomorrow and I'm aiming to get the show posted on Friday.

Currently, our survey tells me that one month is the preferred length of time for a prediction contest meaning anyone can still come top. If you think that the contest should last a little longer and you haven't yet voted, go here...

...and have your say.

Thanks again to everyone reading and predicting!

To be fair you've done well each week, but you were at a bit of a disadvantage having missed the first show. That said, if no one else enters the survey then things will start over again after the next show.</p><p> </p><p> And I'm glad you're enjoying the diary Peter, and the expert is definitely a fun character to write. Especially in this setting where he can be really over the top 'bad' but without going too personal or too crude.</p>
