Teh_Showtime
I'm running a merged RW/Cornell-Verse database. The year is 1993. I started the game in 1991. I've noticed that after 3 years of game play that BSC and AAA have Owners, Head Bookers and workers but neither of them have had a show. Any ideas why this would happen? Does the promotion need so many workers before they will have a show? maybe not enough money to hire an arena would be the inital problem but 3 years of sponsors makes me wonder
shadowmaster
I'll have to check it out. I thought they had plenty of money but I could be wrong
akujy
Possibly just a glitch, right?
shadowmaster
BSC currently has 7 wrestlers on its roster, AAA has 9. Both have plenty o money
Bigpapa42
I don't think that would be enough workers to run a show. How many female wrestlers are there within the US available and good enough to be hired? A large portion of the potentially available worker base could be excluded by hiring rules. shadowmaster
True. I created about 10 female wrestlers to see if that is what the issue was. I think this it.
Remianen
BSC currently has 7 wrestlers on its roster, AAA has 9. Both have plenty o money Not nearly enough workers for them to run shows. Even given BSC's match ratio, that's barely two matches. Some things I've noticed is that a promotion needs a certain amount of workers to run shows. That amount seems to vary by promotion size (so obviously a local/small promotion will need fewer than a Cult, for example).
James Casey
Not all of those workers would be wrestler either, I would think. Taking over a company with three years of sponsor money in the bank sounds like good fun to me
shadowmaster
I only counted the actual wrestlers. Each fed had several other people hired as road agents etc. I havent simulated far enough yet to see if they hire any of the new female workers and subsequently hold a show, but I'll let ya know. shadowmaster
I added about 15 wrestlers. I've seen each Fed re-up their already contracted workers and BSC hired a new Road Agent, but so far none of the new workers have signed with either of these companies. I'm going to create another female test fed and see if the same thing happens.
shadowmaster
Well, it appears that did the trick. I added 15-20 female workers. At the turn of the month, BSC has gone on a hiring spree making offers to at least 10 workers. They have not held a card yet, but it looks promising to happen in a month or so.
