SCCW - Shane Sneer's Revenge

Recommended Posts

December 23rd, 2009

"Well Merry F***in' Christmas to you too!"

The loud clang rang out through the former USPW head booker's home office as he slammed the phone down in anger. Shane Sneer wasn't a man to cross, he helped build USPW into what it is, even if it was Strong's big name that got the TV deal. Sneer was there longer, did a good job, and deserved his money and respect at least that how he felt.

"So the mighty Sam Strong thinks I ain't cutting it, he says he's demotin' me and that they need to do somethin' bout my salary cause it's too high?"

"What's that honey?"
, his wife asks in the background.

The truth was Shane Sneer was doing a pretty good job. His salary wasn't really the issue, it just came down to the simple fact that Shane Sneer and Sam Strong have never seen eye to eye. Sneer originally wanted to try to buy the company from Jillefski when it was rumored to be up for sale but Danny opted to go with Strong instead. Shane still did his job and even appreciated being appointed head booker but now Sam Strong has gone too far.

"I ain't going back to work for USPW. I've been itchin' to do somethin' different anyway."

"Oh, really, what happened?"

His wife's question was of no concern to Shane. He was already focusing on his next task, getting in contact with some of his former employee's.

Shane Sneer
- SCCW Owner

http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f230/ifuctu/SCCW/People/ShaneSneer.jpg

Sneer reopened SCCW after a massive falling out with Sam Strong over booking control in USPW. Sneer's only motive is to see USPW crumble. He plays a large on-screen role as owner and authority figure.

The Grand Avatar
- Head Booker

http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f230/ifuctu/SCCW/People/TheGrandAvatar.jpg

The Grand is the ultimate puppet master. He calls all the shots behind the screens and no one really no who he is. In fact, some even believe Sneer just lies about the booker and does it all himself, that way he can dodge complaints and make his workload look a little lighter.

Remmington Remus
- Play by Play Commentator

http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f230/ifuctu/SCCW/People/RemmingtonRemus.jpg

Remmington was brought in as Shane Sneer felt bad for the youngster and decided to give him an opportunity. He's our play by play man for all events.

Tim Weightman
- Color Commentator

http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f230/ifuctu/SCCW/People/TimWeightman.jpg

As long as Tim's hair's looking good, he's on his A game. Tim was brought in to do color commentary, he's got his hands full as Sneer is already threatening to take his job if he doesn't perform well.

Wilson Carlisle
- Head Referee

http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f230/ifuctu/SCCW/People/WilsonCarlisle.jpg

Wilson Carlisle is an up and coming referee. Shane Sneer brought him in to be head referee.

Brady Prince vs. Elijah Harris

The Soul Man walks away with a victory in the first round.

Whistler vs. Coyote Dynamite

Whistler seems to be the better alternative.

Ernie Turner vs. Whisky Jack

The Slick Pimp Spike puts away Whisky.

Since you said the entire first show is dedicated to the tournament, I assume you want the rest of the brackets filled out as well?

Jack Griffith vs. Elijah Harris

Southern Justice rides to the finals.

Whistler vs. Ernie Turner

If he's ever gonna make it, Whistler needs to make it now. Turner's got more time left.

Round 1:

Wiley Steinway vs. Jack Griffith

The drunk should win.

Brady Prince vs. Elijah Harris

I like Elijah better.

Whistler vs. Coyote Dynamite

Whistler should mop the floor with the waste of space known as Coyote Dynamite.

Ernie Turner vs. Whisky Jack

Semi Finals:

Jack Griffith vs. Elijah Harris

Whistler vs. Ernie Turner

Championship Round:

Jack Griffith vs. Whistler

Sadly I think Whistler will retire quickly so there is no real reason to give him the gold.

A small sized pyrotechnics show kicks off SCCW Revolution. We scroll around the nearly packed Arkansas Coliseum of 1,717 fans before finding ourselves on announcers Remmington Remus and Tim Weightman. They introduce themselves and us to the show and hype tonights tournament for the vacant SCCW championship.

http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f230/ifuctu/SCCW/People/ShaneSneer.jpg

SCCW owner, Shane Sneer, wastes no time making his presence felt. He comes out and welcomes everyone to SCCW's return show. He announces that to make tonight's main event more special, the finals of the tournament will go down inside the confines of a steel cage! The crowd eats it up!

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Whistler defeated Coyote Dynamite in 7:36 by pinfall with a Rebel Yell. The first match of the tournament was a pretty good one with both competitors in a relatively open match. Coyote made a few close pin attempts before the fans got behind the Whistler and he managed to turn things around.

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Jack Griffith defeated Wiley Steinway in 7:32 by pinfall with a Jack in The Box. A little out of shape, Jack Griffith still manages to defeat Steinway and move on in the tournament. Griffith got a nice little pop during his entrance, which he didn't seem to care much for.

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Brady Prince defeated Elijah Harris in 8:10 by submission with a Maryland Crossface. Two former SCCW champions met in the last match of the first round. Prince and Harris go back and forth for a few minutes before Brady gets the upper hand and takes home the victory.

In an extremely poor match, Whistler defeated Ernie Turner in 13:24 by pinfall with a Rebel Yell. Ernie Turner put up a good fight but in the end the Whistler was just too much. After the match Turner shook hands with the Whistler to the crowds approval. The Whistler moves on to the tournament finals and is one step closer to reclaiming the SCCW world championship.

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Jack Griffith defeated Brady Prince in 12:54 by pinfall with a handful of tights. Several times Prince had Griffith beat but Griffith managed to get a foot or a hand on the ropes. Griffith looked in pretty bad shape when he rolled Brady up and held his tights for the three count. When it was over, Brady was still in the ring as Griffith quickly made his way to the back. The crowd erupted with boo's and cheered loudly when Brady finally made his way out of the ring frustrated.

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Rayne Man defeated Roderick Remus in 12:34 by pinfall with a Rayne Drop. This match was booked to give the tournament competitors a bit of a break and it served more than it's purpose as Rayne and Remus both made their SCCW debut's and put together quite a good showing. Remmington said he was proud of his brother Roderick even in his losing effort.

A video plays hyping Whistler vs. Jack Griffith steel cage main event. It runs through the tournament, first through the Whistler's which gets a good crowd pop, then Griffith's as he cheats to get past Brady Prince and the crowd erupts with boo's. In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Jack Griffith defeated Whistler in a Cage Classic match in 14:31 by pinfall with a handful of tights to become the new SCCW Champion. In a match that got pretty brutal with both men busted open, the two went back and forth with both having several close pin attempts. Jack Griffith eventually takes home the win and the SCCW championship, the crowd doesn't like it and is absolutely irate.

Another SCCW dynasty. I like the whole Shane Sneer coming back plot behind this one. It's also really concise and easy to follow, and I like how there's a bunch of former SCCW stars in the ring for you.

It's pretty different from my SCCW dynasty, and I like that. Let's see how we both go with the return of this really sweet company.

Power Rankings

Last Month's Ranking in Brackets.

Top Five:

http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f230/ifuctu/SCCW/People/JackGriffith.jpg

1. Jack Griffith *SCCW Champion (-)

Even those his tactics were underhanded, Jack Griffith still tops the list due to the fact that he beat out three other competitors on his way to claiming the SCCW championship.

http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f230/ifuctu/SCCW/People/Whistler.jpg

2. Whistler (-)

Whistler was the tournament's biggest star. He was the fan favorite going in and for good reason, the Whistler made it to the finals and it was that trip to the finals that earned him another shot. The Whistler will get a chance for redemption at the SCCW Tag Team Invitational.

http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f230/ifuctu/SCCW/People/BradyPrince.jpg

3. Brady Prince (-)

Brady looked to regain what he once had going into the tournament but the former SCCW champ fell short. Not without a great showing though, Prince had the crowd on his back and road it almost to the finals if it wasn't for Griffith's cheating.

http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f230/ifuctu/SCCW/People/ErnieTurner.jpg

4. Ernie Turner (-)

The Slick Pimp Daddy had a nice tournament showing. First beating Whisky Jack and then putting up a nice showing against the Whistler. There could be good things ahead for the charismatic Turner.

http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f230/ifuctu/SCCW/People/RayneMan.jpg

5. Rayne Man (-)

In what was signed as a match to just give the tournament competitors a break, it's combination of fast technical moves and highflying almost made it match of the night. Both Rayne Man and Remus were signed to set to longer pay per appearance contracts after the show.

The Rest:

6. Elijah Harris (-)

7. Roderick Remus (-)

8. Whisky Jack (-)

9. Wiley Steinway (-)

10. Coyote Dynamite (-)

OOC Comments

I recreated SCCW and set it up so that within the first year or so I should be able to get a TV show. When I do I'll set it up for Wednesday and try to battle USPW. Shane Sneer wants revenge and he'll have it.

If anybody wants to see something specific or someone specific happen or be brought in, just let me know and chances are to keep you around and reading I'll probably do it.

This is my second attempt at a diary, my first one was CZCW got screwed up from the get go. I think this one will be a lot better, off to a much better start anyway.

Before I can predict, I need to be refreshed on a few things.

Who are:

Remarkable Dream, Painful Procedure, and Rayne Man?

Anyone?

Remarkable Dream is a tag team of Steve Flash and Brendan Idol, as referenced in the preceding post. Painful Procedure is Randall Hopkirk & BJ Shearer ( also known as Main Attraction in a certain NYCW diary ;) ) and Rayne Man is Greg Rayne, a SWF castoff.

Nice start, I love that power ranking system:). Unfortunately I´m little lost when it comes to American wrestling tag scene so no comments this time since writing "just a guess" seven times isn´t exactly going to give any information to anyone:p.

SCCW Presents... Tag Team Invitational!

http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f230/ifuctu/SCCW/SCCW.jpg

Pyro's shoot off as the show opens up and we scroll around the packed out Pennsylvania Park Arena. A little highlight package shows how Jack Griffith became the SCCW Champion. which earns him a chorus of boos. Remmington Remus and Tim Weightman introduce us to the show and then hype the tag team tournament tonight.

E

Nation of Filth vs. The Tennessee Outlaws

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, The Tennessee Outlaws defeated The Nation Of Filth in 8:03 when Blackjack Robbins defeated Grunt by pinfall with a Leaping Side Suplex. The Nation of Filth recieved a huge pop, the Outlaws cheated profusely throughout the match. Remus and Weightman don't like the outcome either.

E+

Remarkable Dream vs. The Good Ol' Boys

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Remarkable Dream defeated The Good Ol' Boys in 7:40 when Brendan Idol defeated Thimbleby Langton by pinfall with an Idolizer. The debut of Steve Flash and Brendan Idol as a team was a good one, it didn't hurt with both having some nice eye candy as Willow and Amy Roberts joined them.

D

Thug Lyfe vs. Maryland Alliance

In an extremely poor match, The Maryland Alliance defeated Thug Life in 8:28 when Brady Prince defeated Slim V by submission with a Maryland Crossface. It was a bit sloppy between the two but in the end the two time former champs move a step closer to regaining gold.

E

Painful Procedure vs. Wiley Coyote

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Wiley Coyote defeated Painful Procedure in 7:34 when Coyote Dynamite defeated Billy Jack Shearer by pinfall with a Spinebuster. The two teams had great back and forth action in what was a battle of monsters, the hard riding biker duo eventually brawled their way to victory and to the semi-finals.

D-

The Whistler then came down to the ring. He takes a microphone and starts talking about Jack Griffith, when our SCCW champion decides to join us. Whistler's on pre-match hype and he's got the crowd completely behind him as the two have a big argument, going back and forth before things take a violent turn and they start brawling. A whole host of staff hit the ring to break them up the crowd eats it up as they'll meet in-ring later tonight for the strap.

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, The Tennessee Outlaws defeated Remarkable Dream in 7:54 when Blackjack Robbins defeated Brendan Idol by pinfall, after Blackjack Robbins clobbered Brendan Idol with brass knucks. The two gorgeous blondes worked against Remarkable Dream in this one. They tried informing the ref of the Outlaws cheating only allowing them to cheat more when they distracted him.

A hype video is played showing the con-man Sammy the Shark hustling various people with card games. Sammy makes a few comments, mainly about money and then about his upcoming arrival in SCCW.

Ernie Turner vs. Rayne Man

In an extremely poor match, Ernie Turner defeated Rayne Man in 7:53 by pinfall with a Slick Pimp Spike. While he can certainly captivate an audience Ernie Turner needs to work on his in-ring skills. Rayne Man looked good even in defeat, Turner moves up the ranks a bit more with a big win here.
