Watched Bucks vs Lakers last night. Kobe needs to find a passing game again, Shannon Brown was beyond hot (5/6 from 3pt I'm pretty sure) but couldn't get a look at the basket once Kobe came back off the bench. It got to the point I was begging for Jackson to pull him, and I like Kobe!

Poor Bogut, his elbow injury is still ongoing and 2-10 from the free throw killed what little momentum the Bucks had.

Lakers bench is very solid.

King James tweeted on Portland Trail Blazers Center Greg Oden second Microfracture Surgery:

"Man i seriously feel for Greg Olden! Keep your head up man and put all faith in the man above. Best of luck"

Personally I would love to see Greg Oden as a Cleveland Cavalier if he is healthy due to his free agency his first choice would be his home state team the Pacers but they have Hibbert so I don't see that working out while the Cavs need a big post threat to battle in the East and a healthy Oden could reach the likes of David Robinson, Bill Russell and many other legends and the opposite comparison would be Sam Bowie...

Are you high? That's one of the worst comparisons I've even seen on a message board,...And i used to write a sports column for 411mania, so I've seen some really BAD comparisons.

Even healthy, Oden has barely averaged 11 pts and 8 reb and just over 2blks. You just compared him to two of the best centers in the history of the NBA and maybe the greatest "winner" in any sport.

If Oden ever does get healthy, he'd be lucky to have Sam Bowie's career.

Yeah even when Oden is healthy he's shown no ability to take over a game. This is not the same guy that was in college and at this point I'm not even sure he'll play again let alone play healthy. Anybody picking this guy up after this injury needs to treat it like any other second or third string Center pick up.

Oden doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as Russell. In fact very few do.

Michael Jordan is mentioned in the same breath as Russell and although not a center it shows you just what rare air you should mention Russell's name in.

Even when Greg Oden IS healthy he's not putting up any sort of real numbers the truth is Oden was a mistake, he was a bust, but he was one that 29 other GMS would have made. Everybody thought this guy was going to be a beast and everyone thought Durant wouldn't be able to handle the NBA physical play.

Since I'm a Thunder fan I'm very glad that we got Durant. Cleveland's had enough disappointment lately and I'm not sure that city could take more.

It will be Greg Oden second microfracture surgery.

His first one was 2007 on his right knee. He missed the entire season after being picked number one.

His second one was performed on his left knee.

I don't know how it will affect his game. He is still 7 feet tall. But he just like that character in the movie "Unbreakable".

From 2007-2008, 2008-2009, 2009-2010, and 2010-2011, he played exactly 82 games or one full NBA season.

Kenyon had one in college and then a couple recently and wasn't the same once he got to the Nuggets. Oden has already had two or three knee operations since his first year like 3 years ago.

College he was playing against some nice talent, but how many centers did he play that made it to the NBA outside of Horford and Noah? A Center has a much more difficult time becoming a superstar in the NBA then any other position is because of their size. Oden would be lucky to be one day compared to Marcus Camby who has had a very good career as a REB guy and putting up 8 to 13 points a night.

If he gets Healthy. Also Oden has never shown he would be a dominate player at all, even when he is Healthy. He played on a good OSU team that has produced a couple Centers with potential the last decade, but I still don't see him doing anything other than being a another Sam Bowie player for the Blazer after passing over a sure fire hall of famer (and yes as long as Durant stays healthy I believe he is)

Oden will stay with the Blazers because 8 million for the option is a LOT cheaper than the 20 or thirty million they would need to bring in somebody from free agency. Oden at 8 million next year will actually be a "cheap" option for center.

That being said Greg Oden is not going to be the player people thought he was in college. I don't even think you can use the word potential for a guy like Oden since he's shown NO potential to be on that level. He's shown he can be solid but not Bill freaking Russell.

Anyway the Oklahoma City got Durant which I'm thankful for. Hopefully this time next year I'll be close enough to get season tickets.

Luke harangody was one of the best players in college basketball this year. He can't sniff the floor for the celtics and looks bad when he does.

Plenty of guys (JJ reddick, morrision, hansbrough, thebeet) are great in college, but average at best in the pros. Though to be fair to reddick, he's worked hard and turned himself into a nice 7th man for the magic.

It's also an insult to sam bowie to make that comparison. Bowie played 512 marginally effective NBA games. Greg Oden has played 82, total, and has been very, very sub par in those 82.

He's also had his heart and desire for the game questioned by the media, his teammates, and his coaches.

He had a good one year career in college, super. I feel for the kid, but he's a bust, and i predict he will have chronic injury problems, ala Yao Ming without the talent, until he retires or goes overseas.

I was way more concerned when vazquez was on the floor, rondo was absolutely murdering conley.
