LoNdOn Posted February 10, 2011 Share Posted February 10, 2011 I agree with the above, your renders are top quality. But I know exactly what you mean with this comment, I'm exactly the same. I have no interest in re-render Faith, Bruce, Cornell, Frehley, Remo etc. because, frankly, jtlant has nailed them for me. I could probably knock out a reasonable render but if I wasn't going to use it myself, why bother? That said, I really like to see a variety of people take on the same characters, so seeing you tackle The Keith Brothers, for example is great even though they have been done before. Daft, I know I know what you mean. Variety is the spice of life. When I re-render it isn't meant as a slap in the face to the original creator, far from it. I see it as a personal challenge to see if I can keep the core of the original whilst adding my spin on him/her. It took me a hell of a long time before I finally decided to render Sam Keith. I had originally thought about doing so but decided against it. It was only after Bigpapa42 nudged me in his direction a few weeks later that made me tackle him. I mean it looks enough like the original render that you know who it is supposed to be. However, it looks different enough that you can tell you put your own spin on it (if that makes any sense).
