The concept is simple - Many of us will try to re render the Cornellverse. Hopefully the renders will be an improvement on the originals, although many of the originals are already fantastic and we may be simply offering a new twist on a classic.

Awesome start, we've now done...1% of the universe! Not bad for the post being up an hour. Hopefully jtlant can share some of his RRs too.

 

Indeed, this is a fantastic idea. Any chance we could see Marc DuBois zoomed in to Aaron Andrews level? In my opinion the size of the face in that render is perfect, but really I'm just being awkward!

I'm almost certain that I both missed some that I've done and probably duplicated some that are already the default pics in game. Sorry. :D Also, the naming on some of those may be wrong/outdated or may overwrite the default pics, so I'd save them somewhere other than your pics folder first. Oh, and I skipped a bunch of the lucha alts because most of them are included already, but I'm not sure which. Also, apparently at one point I thought Nightmare was black.

Laz, I use that render for Inca Jr. if that's any help.

 

Ewanite, do my eyes deceive me or did we just zoom in on DuBois :D

 

What's really great about this thread (other than the phenominal work and generosity) is that say I really like BSS's original render but think ewanite's new version is awesome (which, by the way, it is), I can easily find another person to replace - so many possibilities, so little time! My mind is awash with alt ideas - Friday is going to be a busy day for me!

all these alts are great ewanite but they all seem pissed off at the camera man :)

 

Haha! I've tried to make them match their characters somewhat, so the monsters are growling, the ****y guys are smirking and the babyfaces are smiling! I must say that all this post editing is exhausting!

Also, maybe Laura Catherine Huggins and Karen Killer, but I can't say if it's just that I dislike their pics in terms of how I feel they should look.

Agreed, although I'd say BJ O'Neill and Blonde Bombshell could do with entirely new renders. Alicia Strong should probably be added to that list too...

It'd be nice if people started with re-doing everyone with the new Australia-style renders, since they're ugly and don't fit the style of the rest of the Cornellverse. :(

 

Don't you think it's a little harsh saying they are ugly? Someone (not me) put a lot of time and effort into doing them so all the new characters would have renders.
