The Celt
Not to be a downer, just can I make a small criticism? I think you guys are scrunching up the faces of these guys a bit too much. Also I think some of these look at a bit too...liquidity if you know what I'm saying. Personally I kinda prefer the traditional style that jtlant and jhd used to employ. I'd just like to see a balance between the two styles.

I'd just like to see a balance between the two styles. I don't know why, but I think a few of ewanite's renders have a similarity to Self's though both are there own styles of course. That said, I know not everyone likes the GDS renders but I think they're great and I've got a lot of Self's and ewanite's renders overwriting the originals in the default database. Like sebs, they're different but they sit well alongside the majority of the renders in the default data and jtlant's more 'realistic' renders. Jtlant's style has been my personal favourite ever since I downloaded the 75 mod about 15 months ago but I'm more than happy to have all of them at it! I've never 'rendered' anything though Celt, I just ride on the coat tails of the awesome work I'm given "If I have seen farther..."
ewanite
Not sure what you mean by liquidity or whatever. I've had 3d software for 3 days now so give me a chance! But hey if they aren't for you that's fair enough. I made them for my own games and decided to share them. If they don't suit you there's no pressure to use them. That said, I'm gonna try a few of the requests tonight. Starting with Rob Reynolds: http://img218.imageshack.us/img218/1172/robreynolds.jpg
James Casey
For three days that's amazing - I couldn't even get the textures to load when I tried Quick Q about Reynolds, though: Is his hair attached to his head? Seems to be hovering a bit over - although in the original he had a bit of an odd 'do, so...

Honestly, you render like a pro ewanite! I'm not sure I can remember who Rob Reynolds is (although I think I did a request to put him in a tag team with Mikey James once), but the new render is great - he's a keeper for me. Really can't wait to see what else you come up.

Self
A hell of a lot better than I was after 3 days. I've been doing this for years it seems. Are my gals 'scrunched'? They don't look like it to me, but forest & trees & all that jazz. A certain amount of scrunching tends to occur when characters are given angry expressions. They only look scrunched when you compare say Roxy with Persephone (or Tamara). The scale is much different so one reflects badly on the other(s). dvdWarrior
Whoa! I love all the new renders! The Bumfholes, James Prudence, and Donnie J are my favorites, (since I always seem to hire those fellers at some point). All of them are great though. Outstanding work, can't wait to see what ya'll come up with next!

jtlant
Louis Figo Manico http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii145/jtlant/TEW/LouisFigoManico_alt1.jpg This one might not be too well received since he's such a popular character, but I've always wanted to take a shot at it... Jennie Bomb
In lieu of takling over the thread with a pointless argument, I'll simply state I believe it's perfectly acceptable to describe something purporting to be a person as ugly if it contains unnatural angles and features, that I wouldn't be commenting on those renders if they weren't included in the commercial product and the fact that they are included means that harsh criticism isn't unacceptable and that I will agree to disagree with people who think I'm wrong. In other news, that Larry Wood alt is fantastic.

Serious Champagne: http://img705.imageshack.us/img705/4397/champagnelover2.jpg i think its all of the lines and angles on the faces, mostly around the cheek and jaw area. they are very distinct or defined rather and maybe that is where everyone is getting the "they looked scrunched up" from. maybe if the angles where a little more subtle they wouldn't look that way. like the new Champagne Lover though.
