Saifa
Finished up my first Until Dawn playthrough, and got the best ending with only one death - if you have played the game, you know who I'm talking about. Amazing game, by the way. You can get a 'best ending' even with someone dying? I cheated myself out of the genuine experience by restarting a few times (saving Ashley + Mike and/or Sam, I think) because I figured I'd only play the game once then forget about it, but I just got a friend to play it and it's a really fun game to see other people grapple with. He already messed up once and got someone killed about as early on as is possible. But yes, agreed, it's very good! Don't think I've ever enjoyed a dumb horror movie more in my life. Blackman
Played Dyscourse lately and I didn't manage to save anyone, not even myself.

Yes, because if everyone lives, there is a post-credits scene in which the person who I got killed appears...a fate worse than death, and it is not pretty. Nor is his death though if you do get him killed as I did, as Hannah looked like she had pleasure doing the deed, or rather, no reaction at all, I'm not sure. I don't know how I saw her emotions during that part, but it felt different. I'm eventually going to do a savegame in which I'll save everyone and one in which I'll kill everyone to get the platinum trophy, anyway. I'm guilty of restarting to save Sam as well, haha. But to answer your question, yeah, the best ending was the one I got.
moon_lit_tears
Anyone else heard of Tharsis? Sorta seems like a game right up my alley.
D-Lyrium
Tharsis looks amazing. It's one of those rare games that makes me think "...damn. That's clever. Why has nobody thought of this before?". Single player space Yahtzee (not Croshaw) crossed with FTL? I'm in!
moon_lit_tears
Tharsis looks amazing. <3 Can't wait until it's out. It's one of those rare games that makes me think "...damn. That's clever. Why has nobody thought of this before?". Single player space Yahtzee (not Croshaw) crossed with FTL? I'm in! Right? I've been watching a guy named yippie something falcon play it, and I'm amazed. If you like games like that and tycoon style games, I saw a game called Punch club that might be up your alley as well.
D-Lyrium
FYI, Quill18 (twitch.tv/quill18) is going to be streaming it this afternoon if you want to watch, in about 10 mins (which will probably be more like 30 knowing Quill ). But yeah, it's up there with Darkest Dungeon in terms of "that's such a cool idea!"-ness.
machinesxe
I've tried playing it but it just feels an unoptimised mess that constantly downloads massive updates and takes forever to log into a game (thats on PC though) Oh, I grabbed it for XBOX One and love it. Runs well very minimal issues from what I've seen.

D-Lyrium
http://i.imgur.com/qrjS4pi.png :'( This is why Tharsis is great. - I can't complete the repair without rerolling at least two dice (even rerolling the 1 into a 6 = 15 total). - If I reroll two dice and get two 3s, she dies. - If I reroll two dice, only get one 3 but not enough to complete the repair, she dies (not actually true because I can use the research to get her an extra 3 health... as long as that one doesn't reroll into a 2 or 3). Statistically, the average dice roll fails to repair this on four dice. Common sense says don't risk the reroll, put the point in research and heal her with the card. ... but the reroll button is RIGHT THERE... and she could be a hero~!... (Update: I rerolled two dice, got a 6 and a 1, so was unable to make the repair but used the 6 for +1 health, the 1 for research and the two 3s towards repair for next turn, netting and overall change of absolutely nothing except +1 research point). (Update update: She couldn't fix it next turn either, rolling an impressive three 2s!) Updated 3: It's alllll oooooveerrrrr!http://i.imgur.com/Ggr1vav.png Doctor dies if she moves, and the ship only has one HP. So it can't take ANY damage, and there are 3 damage events and 3 crew. So close, yet so far... The doctor's inability to avoid rolling 2s has killed us all! If she'd fixed flight control last turn, she could've moved to the V02 leak this turn, and the specialist could've made light work of the 2 damage event, with the mechanic mopping up the 1 damage. The doctor would still have died at the end of the turn, but at least the ship would still be alive. ¬_¬ KICKOUT JUST BEFORE THREE! The specialist aced the V02, getting exactly what she needed with no rerolls, the mechanic easily fixed the Thermal Error and had a die left over for research, meaning that the doctor could use the +3 heal, took 2 damage from moving through 2 events, repaired the ship, then had a 5 left over to heal herself, and two sixes(!!!!) to get the two repairs on the ship too! It's a January miracle! ... then the doctor died (I hadn't noticed the OTHER -1 health that had snuck into the middle there). As did the mechanic. N... now it's... it's over, man. We're done.http://i.imgur.com/AlDOVf8.png Everybody's dead, Dave.

moon_lit_tears
Ouch, it looks like you had some pretty crappy RNG there. I try to do what I can with getting the ones that will hurt the most first, even if it means taking a hit of damage to get ot it. I'm happy the DEVs are actually pretty cool. bigtplaystew
I picked up Tharsis on Ps4 (I wanted a slow dice rolly type game on that system and I don't have one yet).

I like it. A LOT! Haven't played it a ton yet but after sitting down with it for an hour or so I can already tell it's right in my wheelhouse. True boardgaming nerdiness at its finest.

It DOES make my PS4 fan go really loud. Only during the initial opening video and menu. Then once the game starts up the fan gets quiet. It's very weird. I'm thinking its my system and not the game, as I'm sure the internet would be on fire by now. Not too concerned at this point but it is strange.

Blackman
The protagonists gets some extra costumes: tshirts with RE-themed stuff on it. A little immersion-breaking to have her running around with a Jill sandwich tshirt but hey...

Jaysin
Finally installed the NEO GEO/SNK 25th anniversary humble bundle games. Having an absolute blast down memory lane with some of these. Strangely though, my favorite is a golf game called NEO Turf Masters. First time I played it, I spent a good 4 hours straight playing it. I'm not really into golf at all, so I was a little shocked. Big Roguey
Damn, I need some free AAA games, but Sony isn't keen on having any on Plus... We do get Grim Fandango free this month though and I'll take that over any AAA title any day of the week. AAA titles are getting lazy. Just Cause 3 is such a let down. Bland, basic story and then not really much to keep you invested in the game world. So much potential wasted.

Grim Fandango is an incredibly fun game, but the Remastered version is riddled with savegame bugs. And Hardware: Rivals is too repetitive for me. I'd take any Twisted Metal over it. steesh07
Has anyone seen that 5* Wrestling game on PSN, has a lot of likenesses in it and a "face and heel system" From RVD to The Rock, surely has to be better than the old Legends of Wrestling games.
