Roxy Kitten? Check.

Various hotties in places? Cool.

Joanne leaving? I always thought she was a lesbian, and not the "I'll-get-with-a-guy" kind, so oh well.

Belle Bryden out of the shower

WAIT A SECOND YOU DIDN'T SAY SHE HAD A ROBE ON.

You had Belle Bryden. Naked.

Great show NN. Nothing wrong with resorting to the tried and tested ppv hype six-man tag team match at all. I'm digging the team of Spencer Spade & KC Glenn (it must be the matching singlets). Nice way to give them a debut win as well. You made a good move with writing out J-Ro too. If she ever returns, you've got a ready-made storyline in the waiting. Apart from that, interesting to see Devine take the TV title, there's just too much to do and too little Memphis to go round obviously ;)

Phantom Stranger's diary has been run in 2010 since, well, early in 2010. He converted the data after the game came out and has carried on since then, so get to reading!

Oh, and, er, go NoNeck! :p

Didn't realise that. May go have a hunt around it, thanks James.

Was the secretary an actual character, or was that angle purely rated on Bryden? Because D+ seems a bit low (what is that in numbers? 68-ish? Maybe not, then)

She was.....or she is, I guess I should say. I was trying to sneak her into it there and start getting her over now preparing for her eventual debut as a character. I figured Bryden had a little bit to bleed because she's jumping leaps and bounds by being stuck into the stuff with Nicky Champion. I don't know if people have spotted it, but I'm guilty of using a lot of peripheral type charcters in tiny fly-by roles in the bigger stars vignettes. And it's working.

D+ is more in the 48-54 range. 68 would be in the C+ range.

Yeah, it was a steamer of a segment, I guess.

This is the best diary on the forum. Bar none.

:):):):)

tbh, although NoNeck is my god after nude Bryden, I found Phantom Stranger's TCW game to be very good.

I love PS's TCW, too. Also, his old PPPW is one of the best diaries ever around here, period. Check THAT one out.

And since we're just throwing shout outs around, if we're talking the best on the boards, you can't leave out JC's "Who is Richard Eisen" SWF, TK's BHOTWG, Bigpapa's "Dark Days", or DMack's NYCW.

Or the about five or six other great ones that are still building their readership, including TheKenwyne's CGC diary, which I lurk in and enjoy.

And nobody puts Angeldelayette in the corner. :)

I'm really, REALLY funny about diaries though - if it's not being run in TEW 2010 then I tend not to read it. Don't know why I'm that way.

Ummmm, Rathen?

Ok, then.

How big a deal is Champion in your game? I'm assuming that beating Strong a while back must have given him a huge bump, as well as all the segments he did with Strong before that. Skill-wise, I would have thought he'd be below the level necessary to hold down a main event spot, but I guess it is still the USPW pop>performance product, unless you've made big changes.

Nicky has become a pretty big deal, JC, especially considering the skill levels of the other top guys.

Of his wrestling grades, the highest one is a C in brawling and everything else is pretty bad. His basics are OK and his psychology has gotten up to C+ over the last few months, probably from all the matches with Sam and higher level tag opponents as Sam's partner.

But his popularity is through the roof; all A's and A+'s, which is undoubtedly due to bening dragged into all the main event level matches and angles by being with Sam. It's also helped Alicia (who is at B- in my main three regions) and Belle Bryden a lot, too.

Concerning my product settings, it's still set at the same level USPW's was at the outset of the game, but I raised the level of cult to low/medium with an intent on raising it higher in about six to eight months, and I raised the intensity and match danger five percentage points higher apiece. I figure it signifies progress without having to just have a completely different product one show than was on the last.

I think the changes are reflected in my booking and my content, too, to the level I (or Phil) changed them in the game.

“So SWF hit global, did they?”

“Yeah. They did. And we’re already seeing the effects of it.”

“For example?”

“Uh, they’ve gone on a signing binge over the last week or so since the announcement. They picked up Mick Muscles, Fabulous Frank, and then, two days later, called up Giant Brody and Cheetah Boy from RIPW.”

“Sounds like an SWF tag team in the making right there. Running a ‘Tarzan and his half-animal man friend’ gimmick.”

“They signed Joanne Rodriguez, too, that’s where she’s going. Although they haven’t really signed enough women to have a go at a whole division as yet.”

“…..”

“I bet she doesn’t end up doing anything and comes back to me in a year or so.”

“…….”

“And right after this last show that we ran, I got word that Grandmaster Phunk signed with them as well.”

“So?”

“I had offered him a contract, too.”

“I see. He chose SWF over PWC.”

“He did.”

“…..”

“And the truth of it is, I really didn’t know what I wanted to do with him booking wise, so much as I wanted him to keep him from going to TCW or SWF.”

“Which is probably not the smartest move….”

“Financially, it would have been unwise, but I’m not against using that strategy anytime a big name comes up. I’ll figure out what to do with ‘em later, if they can draw me some ratings, they are going to hear from me when their contracts are up.”

“…….”

“I had a backstage incident at the last show, too, just so you know. Had the little button thing I had to click on before I could get to the booking.”

“What happened?”

“Our road agent, Craig Prince, nearly started a fight with one of our new signings backstage and had to be kept back some of the boys.”

“The road agent?”

“I know. He’s good at his job though. And pretty new to the company himself.”

“…..”

“I used the fatherly approach and he seemed to understand. I’m hoping that throwing him a bone will help our relationship in the long run.”

“So what new signing was it? Who’s joining the ranks of PWC?”

“Oh there will be a few new faces popping up here and there, mostly on our brand new, web only, live pre-show, which will debut before the PPV and depending on the response, continue on before each week’s PWC TV.”

“……”

“No one you’d know. Mostly indy guys. Guys we could get on the cheap. Although…..”

“Although what?”

“Well, if the guy who I offered a contract accepts it, he wouldn’t be wrestling on the pre-show, that’s for sure.”

“Who is it?”

“….”

“…..”

“I’m hungry. Are you ordering Chinese again any time soon?”

Also, I'm choking due to laughing.

And I've never been a Phunk fan, tbh. /shrug

That too. Actually, awhile back I was going to reply to one of your predictions in Phantom Stranger's TCW diary that you should have your own diary...then I realized you did...boy would that have been embarrassing. (Seriously though, I definitely echo what PS has said about longevity bringing in readers...I have been following yours, but I need to know something's going to be around for awhile before I can really get into it.)

And you would've been a fan of Phunk if you saw how awesome he was in my USPW game...but that wasn't a dynasty, so I guess you couldn't...

Umm, guys? Guys?

GUYS!!!?

Oh, hi. Keep up the good work! :D

Sorry. Was hoping not to cause any confusion by posting the tag tournament brackets, but I realized that in the last show, I mentioned that they'd be available on PWC.com following the close of PWC TV.

That said, I wanted to put them out there.

You did not miss the Genesis preview or predictions, which will come very soon in the form of the usual online fan blast that has an internet exclusive vignette and a round up by Emily Royal.

And if you think Eidenhoek's stuff here is entertaining, his Big Smack Scott diary is solid gold. Lewd? Sure. But still all sorts of awesome. Check it out.

ONLINE EXCLUSIVE:

Phil Vibert to T-Rex: "No More Screwing Around...."

Posted on: PWC.COM VIA PWI.NET

Phil Vibert addresses the camera from his palatial backstage office, looking a bit more perturbed than usual. His suit jacket is off and draped over the back of his rolling leather office chair.

PV: “Congratulations, T-Rex, you now have my FULL attention.”

The shot gets closer.

PV: “Sticking your nose into last week’s main event; teaming up with Nicky Champion and Enygma and then choking out Charlie Thatcher will prove to be the biggest mistakes that you ever make.”

He scribbles his name on a couple of documents in front of him.

PV: “This Sunday at Genesis, T-Rex, you will finally face an opponent of some stature in this business, both in size and list of accomplishments.”

PV: “No more screwing around, Mr. Winning-streak. Let’s see you how you handle someone better than you.”

Emily Royal: From the Office: It's PPV Time!

Tyson Baine vs. Enygma

-PWC World Title Cage Match-

PWC Genesis will feature, as its main event, a steel cage match pitting the World Heavyweight Champion, the monster Tyson Baine, against the man he unmasked, Enygma. This match is nearly three months in the making and figures to be Enygma’s last chance at revenge and championship gold, before Baine moves on. With the level of brutality in this feud being so high, how much could being confined inside a twenty foot high steel cage affect the outcome?

Rick Law vs. Nicky Champion; Stipulation Added

After bloodying Nicky Champion yet again with his police baton at the close of this past Wednesday’s PWC TV, Nicky Champion requested that they be made a legal item in their one-on-one match at Genesis. Phil Vibert does him one better; announcing that the deadly weapon would be suspended at the top of a twenty foot arm, braced in one of the corners. The first competitor to get it, can use it legally. From the bad feelings between them that started when it was Team Vibert vs. Team USPW, to the KO incident on the last ever USPW American Wrestling, to the present bloodfeud it has become, Rick Law vs. Nicky Champion does not disappoint. Can you afford to miss what is sure to be a knock down, drag out fight?

T-Rex to Take On Vibert’s Choice

As you may or may not have heard, Phil Vibert has officially raised the front office’s interest in T-Rex following what they deem to be an action against them when Rex tagged with Nicky Champion and Enygma against Tyson Baine, Rick Law, and Charlie Thatcher on last Wednesday’s PWC TV. After choosing an opponent for him two weeks ago, Vibert will undoubtedly have much worse intentions in picking the man who could potentially end Rex’ winning streak.

Peter Valentine vs. Sam Strong

The last time these two men faced off on PPV we thought it was the end of their feud. But now, with another four weeks of treachery, bloodletting, and brawling rekindling the fire between them, Sam Strong will face off against his former best friend turned mortal enemy Peter Valentine this Sunday at Genesis.

But before that……

Phil Vibert Announces Three Team Scramble Match; Will Showcase Some of PWC’s Tag Teams in for the Upcoming Tag Title Tournament

If you like tag team action, you’d better pack a lunch…..or several of them actually, because over the next several weeks, PWC will be holding a tournament to crown the first tag team champions in PWC history. ON Sunday, three of those teams will step into the ring, looking to make an impression on the PWC audience. Will you choose now to get behind the next great pro wrestling tag team?

Will be you be able to say you were there…..for the Genesis of PWC?

I’ll have more next time…..

But until then, here’s the whole lineup for this Sunday's PPV.

Tyson Baine vs. Enygma - PWC World Title Cage Match

Baine's title reign hasn't run it's course yet.

Rick Law vs. Nicky Champion –Nightstick on a Pole Match

This one is a tossup for me.

T-Rex vs. Vibert’s Choice

I don't see Rex's streak ending until at least a title match against Baine, and maybe not even then.

Peter Valentine vs. Sam Strong - Grudge Match

No brainer?

Eddie Peak vs. Chris Caulfield – Fans Bring the Weapons Match

Another match that I could easily see going either way.

Spade & Glenn vs. EXCESS vs. Jumbo Jackson/Casey Valentine

Sara Silver FTW

Belle Bryden vs. TBA

Who knows with TBA, but I like Bryden.

Tyson Baine vs. Enygma - PWC World Title Cage Match

It doesn't seem like time, does it? I think Baine takes a feud... he might lose his next big program, but not this time. He's been booked too strong.

Rick Law vs. Nicky Champion –Nightstick on a Pole Match

On the one hand, this is the obvious choice -- a little too obvious. On the other hand, I really cannot imagine ultra-babyface Nicky Champion beating a man with a nightstick, no matter how legal it is. There are ways around it -- Law gets the stick but Champion beats him anyway, Champion beats Law by capitalizing on Law going for the stick, etc. But I'm going for the simple one, because I don't think this is QUITE the blowoff.

Just once, I want to see a match where there's a weapon on a pole and nobody bothers with it because it's too much trouble to get it. But that probably won't happen this time.

T-Rex vs. Vibert’s Choice

Not on the first real try... unless you want to cripple the guy's overness. Rex could win by DQ here, though, especially if Vibert's challenger is a guy who could conceivably pose a threat to him.

Peter Valentine vs. Sam Strong - Grudge Match

Pete is still at least nominally an active worker. And what's Strong going to do with the overness?

Eddie Peak vs. Chris Caulfield – Fans Bring the Weapons Match

I feel like, if Caulfield doesn't fight through and win this, his credibility plummets. But I also question how credible Caulfield really SHOULD be at his age and talent level... what, are you going to give him a title push? No, but we all know Peak will be in the mix for years to come. Everyone's a contender until they're not, and I wouldn't be shocked if this is the point where Caulfield falls off that level.

Spade & Glenn vs. EXCESS vs. Jumbo Jackson/Casey Valentine

Either of the first two could make their mark as real contenders from the start. I like Spade and Glenn better near the top of the tag card, though... they seem more... solid. EXCESS, while admittedly entertaining, aren't title material until/unless they prove themselves.

Belle Bryden vs. TBA

I'm not sure there's a women's worker who has such an iconic name in the States that she HAS to go over Belle on her debut. (I mean, aside from Bruce the Lady-Giant. And I just made her up.)

And unless it's such a huge name that it's unavoidable, I don't like to see a debuting worker go over a legit title contender. It's like, "hey, this new guy just beat the best worker we had! Guess this promotion's not so tough after all, eh?" Which is only okay if everyone's going to agree that, okay, we all KNEW the new guy was that good before he showed up. Or unless it's a returning worker, which I don't think you have.

Well, it could be a man. I don't think anyone would begrudge Bryden a loss if it's a man. But why would anyone book THAT?
