Anger vs. American Elemental

And about time too!

The Titans vs. Captain USA and MAW Wrestler American Patriot

Squash time.

Mick Muscles vs. Acid

Acid is getting a real push at the moment, Muscles not so much.

USPW World Television Title Match: James Prudence defends vs. Matthew Keith

I think we could be shocked...

Java vs. The Force

Tough one this, but Java's still a tag team specialist.

Shawn Gonzalez vs. Jack America

America's been building up the moment and giving it to Gonzalez isn't a bad idea.

Darryl Devine and Bruce The Giant vs. Chris Caulfield and Nicky Champion

Not sure how high Bruce's pop is but I think he gives his team the edge here. Could go either way (or a draw) though so I wouldn't be surprised if I'm wrong.

Almost sacrificed my lead to my Halloween weekend of drunken debauchery (that hasn't quite ended yet ;)). Heck, I just had to go back and read the last show now. At least now no one can copy me. =P

USPW AMERICAN WRESTLING!

Wednesday Week 3 April 2010

Location: Huntsville Fairgrounds (South East)

Attendance: 5,000

Overall Rating: B-

TV Rating: 1.82

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/USPW-2.jpg

Last week on USPW American Wrestling:

  • Enygma and Acid continued their feud with an attack by Acid following Enygma's match. These two will meet at Freedom Fight in a submission match!
  • Matthew Keith challenged James Prudence and subsequently attacked Prudence during his tag team match. These two will meet tonight in a Television title match!
  • Nikolai Taktarov attacked Jack America, laying the Russian flag over America's body. Those two will meet at Freedom Fight!
  • Chris Caulfield and James Justice defeated The Titans, using a little distraction from the People's Team. Following the match, Justice was attacked by Travis Century and Shawn Gonzalez and is now out for over a year with a major concussion.

[We are in our usual home of the Huntsville Fairgrounds in the South East region here for USPW American Wrestling action! The show opens with the crowd standing in boos as three men walk out. Travis Century and Shawn Gonzalez showed up last week on programming but the third man is a definite surprise in JD Morgan! JD threatens a fan who holds up a sign reading: 'Salvation Has Come!' The three men enter the ring and Travis Century has the microphone.]

Travis Century

"The Church is now in session. I am your Hardcore Preacher Travis Century and last week James Justice was taught a lesson in humility. That lesson was learned in the blood that was spilled and the pain that was given. Sometimes a person has to suffer before they can truly be enlightened. We have all suffered the slings and arrows of others. Brother Gonzalez and Brother Morgan know what it is like to go into a ring with a bunch of bloodthirsty fans wanting you to bleed, wanting you to break your bones all in the name of entertainment. USPW, you shall feel our pain. I will bring that pain to you in the name of the Hardcore. Brothers and sisters, prepare yourselves for the second coming of Hardcore. Prepare yourselves for the second coming of the extreme!"

[Travis tosses his head back and laughs an evil, dark laughter. JD Morgan and Shawn Gonzalez begin echoing him until all three are laughing at the same time. Travis raises his hand and draws the sign of the cross before he motions and the three of them exit the ring and head to the back.]

Match #1

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/DemonAnger.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/AmericanElemental.jpg

Anger vs. American Elemental

[A definite contrast of styles in this extremely short match. American Elemental used his speed to gain the quick advantage early on, bringing Anger down with a dropkick and then going for an early moonsault but Anger got the knees up! Anger picked up American Elemental and body slammed him near the bottle of Coca Cola. Anger smiled a twisted smile as he looked to the Coca Cola and then he turned his attention back to Elemental. He picked up Elemental -- Demon Slam! Anger made the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Anger (Via Pinfall @ 3:39)

Match Rating: D+

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/ChrisCaulfield.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/Devine_alt1.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/Seduction.jpg

[We head backstage where Chris Caulfield is shown throwing punches against Darryl Devine's head! Devine staggers backward against a white wall and ducks a punch. Caulfield hits the wall with his fist! Devine takes a few steps backward right into Seduction! He spins around her and puts her between him and Caulfield! Caulfield holds his hand from the punch to the wall. There is a nice red blood stain on the wall where he punched it. Devine and Seduction take off and Caulfield runs after them.]

Match #2

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/TysonBaine_alt1.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/T-Rex_alt1.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/ShaneSneer.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/CaptainUSA.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/BulldozerBrandon_alt2.jpg

The Titans vs. Captain USA and MAW Wrestler American Patriot

[Another extremely short match here tonight as the match was dominated by Tyson Baine and T-Rex. USA and Patriot barely even got in a punch between them as an offensive move. The fans got it right as someone held up a sign reading: 'Patriotic Masks + Facing The Titans = Broken Bones!' USA was taken down by a Hades Bomb by Tyson Baine and T-Rex lifted American Patriot -- Extinction! T-Rex made the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winners: The Titans (Via Pinfall @ 3:32)

Match Rating: D-

[shane Sneer stepped inside the ring all smiles at the destruction that his team laid out in the middle of the ring. He also has a microphone.]

Shane Sneer

"People's Team, take a look at these two men standing within the ring. These two men are in your destiny. These two men are in your future. As a matter of fact, these two men are your opponents at Freedom Fight for the USPW World Tag Team titles. In a little over a week, you're going to see why this is the most destructive tag team to come into USPW ever. Enjoy your titles while they last."

[shane smiles and drops the microphone, motioning to his team and they all exit the ring.]

Match #3

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/MickMuscles.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/ShaneSneer.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/Acid.jpg

Mick Muscles vs. Acid

[if the other matches were extremely short, this one was barely a blip on the radar. Muscles did not even get in an offensive move against the speed of Acid. Acid took Muscles down inside the ring with a brainbuster late and then headed to the top turnbuckle -- Acid Rain Bomb! Acid made the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Acid (Via Pinfall @ 1:54)

Match Rating: C-

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/Enygma_alt1jt.jpg

[As soon as the three count was made, Enygma hit the ring. Enygma grabbed the ankle of Acid -- Enygma Variation! Enygma twists that ankle hard as Acid tries to fight his way out of it. Acid puts his palms flat on the mat and tries to struggle out of the Enygma Variation! Enygma holds it in tight and out come the officials trying to get the hold broken. Enygma isn't letting go, though! The crowd boos and suddenly the lights turn out. After about thirty seconds, the lights come back on and Enygma is left holding Acid's boot! Acid is missing! He has gotten out once again.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/SaraSilver.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/AlexBraun.jpg

[We head backstage to the interview area where Sara Silver is standing by with the newest signing for USPW.]

Sara Silver

"Good evening everyone. I'm back here with the man known as The Iceman Alex Braun. Alex, it is an interesting timing for your signing given the appearance of three people you are very familiar with."

Alex Braun

"First of all, Sara, it's good to be here in USPW. This is one of the top promotions in the business right here in America. As everyone knows, I am a man of few words but let me address the situation that you just brought up. I am not a member of Travis Century's group. I was never even approached to be a member."

Sara Silver

"But would you sign up with them if they asked?"

[Alex looks at Sara, shakes his head and walks off. We head back to the ring for our next match.]

Match #4

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/JamesPrudence.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/mattkeithf.jpg

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/USPW_TV.jpg

USPW World Television Title Match

James Prudence defends vs. Matthew Keith

[Platinum James Prudence came out to the ringside area, giving a pair of shades to a fan. Mitch Naess spoke about this being in tribute to James Justice, who was taken out by Travis Century and Shawn Gonzalez last week. These are two excellent technical wrestlers and they showed it early and often. Prudence hit an early German Suplex with a bridge for a two count. Keith came back a little later, bringing Prudence down to the mat with a fireman's carry takeover for a one count. Prudence started getting fired up several minutes into the match with the fans really getting behind him. Prudence took down Keith with a huge body slam and then looked out as three men walked down to the ring.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/TravisCentury.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/ShawnGonzalez_jhd.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/JDMorgan_alt.jpg

[Prudence was distracted by the presence of these men and that enabled Keith to make a comeback. Keith took down Prudence with a double leg takedown and then hooked the legs -- Proton Lock! Prudence struggled, trying to fight the finisher of Keith but he had to give it up! We have a new USPW World Television Champion!]

Winner: Matthew Keith (Via Submission @ 10:20; Matthew Keith Won the USPW World Television title)

Match Rating: C+

[Matthew Keith rose to his feet and pumped his arms in the air. He slid out of the ring and Century gave him a path to walk through to get his belt. Keith picked it up and headed to the back as Century, Gonzalez and Morgan surrounded the ring. James Prudence was slowly trying to get to his feet as Century, Morgan and Gonzalez climbed onto the apron. Prudence's eyes went wide for a moment and then he went right after Century! Morgan and Gonzalez entered the ring and attacked Prudence from all sides as Century entered the ring. Morgan held one arm of Prudence, while Gonzalez held the other. Century smiled and slapped Prudence across the face! Prudence struggled but couldn't break free of the holds by Morgan and Gonzalez. Century kicks Prudence between the legs and the men of the crowd go 'oooooo!' Century grabs Prudence -- Salvation DDT! Gonzalez grabs the legs of Prudence -- Latino Crab! Morgan hooks in a crossface! Prudence cries out in pain as Century makes the sign of the cross. Gonzalez and Morgan release and the three men walk off as EMTs come to check on Prudence.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/NickyChampion.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/ChrisCaulfield_alt1.jpg

[The backstage area is shown where Nicky Champion walks into a locker room. Chris Caulfield is shown sitting on a bench getting his hand looked at by EMTs from the punch against the wall earlier.]

Nicky Champion

"How's the hand?"

Chris Caulfield

"It's going to be taped up and I'll be out there tonight as your partner."

[Nicky nods and pats Chris on the shoulder. The question is how effective will the USPW World Champion be in this match tonight?]

Match #5

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/javab.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/JimForce_dse81.jpg

Java vs. The Force

[A definite old school USPW matchup as these men have six tag team title reigns between them. This was another extremely short and dominated matchup as Java looked lost out there without his tag team partner to tag with in and out. The Force took Java to task with big clotheslines and a press slam! He picked up Java -- Full Force! The Force made the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: The Force (Via Pinfall @ 3:50)

Match Rating: D

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/BelleBryden.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/RavenNightfall_alt2.jpg

[We are taken backstage where Raven is putting the finishing touches on her makeup but she gets assaulted from behind by Belle Bryden! Belle grabs Raven and rams her face-first into the mirror, shattering the glass! Raven falls backward onto the ground and Bryden begins putting the boots to her. Bryden looks at the USPW Women's title belt, which is sitting on the makeup table and then puts an extra boot to Raven before walking off.]

Match #6

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/ShawnGonzalez_jhd.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/JackAvatar_dse81.jpg

Shawn Gonzalez vs. Jack America

[Another extremely short match featuring the in-ring debut of Shawn Gonzalez against the fan-favorite Jack America. America handed out little American flags to the fans before the match got started. Inside the ring, America tried to use his quickness early on. He caught Gonzalez with an early clothesline and elbow drop combination. America made the cover: 1 -- Kickout! Gonzalez got up early and quick and threw several knees to the forehead of America before America could even stand! Gonzalez took America to the mat with a gutwrench suplex. The man once known as the Lone Wolf was announced to be fighting James Prudence at USPW Freedom Fight during this bout. Gonzalez dropped America with a Power Bomb but held onto the legs -- Latino Crab! America struggled to reach the ropes but after about forty seconds he tapped on the mat and this match is over!]

Winner: Shawn Gonzalez (Via Submission @ 4:12)

Match Rating: C

Match #7

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/Devine_alt1.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/BrucetheGiant.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/Seduction.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/ChrisCaulfield_alt1.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/uspw2/NickyChampion.jpg

Darryl Devine and Bruce The Giant vs. Chris Caulfield and Nicky Champion

[The crowd was pumped for this major main event in tag team action. Two challengers on one side and two champions on the other side. Caulfield gave his bandana to a fan at ringside before he entered the ring with Nicky and the brawl started early and often between all four men. Caulfield took Devine over the top rope with a clothesline but he fell over to the ground as well. This left Nicky and Bruce as the two starters within the match. Bruce used his overwhelming size on Nicky Champion to gain the advantage. The 7'4" 600 pound man took Nicky down with a major clothesline and then stepped on his chest! Bruce lifted Nicky and hooked him -- vertical suplex with authority! Nicky held his back as his eyes went wide with the pain shooting through his body. Bruce pulled Nicky into his corner and tagged out to Devine. Devine came in and moved Nicky to the corner -- monkey flip! Nicky falls outside the ring following the move and Devine looks outside to him. Devine comes running -- cross body over the top rope to the outside! Nicky gets smashed against the guardrail! Devine raises to his feet and Seduction comes over but he shoves her away and then tosses Nicky back inside the ring.]

[Devine keeps Nicky within his corner, tagging out to the big man. Bruce comes in and Devine holds Nicky open -- kick to the ribs by Bruce The Giant! Nicky gasps, holding his ribs in pain -- big boot! Nicky Champion goes down to the mat. Bruce makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- Broken Up By Chris Caulfield! The referee Wilson Carlisle steps over to Caulfield, ushering him back to his corner. Devine climbs the turnbuckle -- big splash onto Nicky Champion! Devine exits the ring pointing to his head before he climbs back up in the corner. Bruce The Giant and Darryl Devine continue to make Nicky Champion suffer for the next several minutes, utilizing tags in and out to keep the fresh man in the ring while all Chris Caulfield can do is stand and watch on the apron. Nicky is held up in the corner but he suddenly comes to life! He throws punches to Devine! He throws punches to Bruce! He leaps out of the corner and lands halfway across the ring. He starts crawling toward the outstretched arm of Chris Caulfield -- Bruce gets the attention of the referee! Champion tags out! Chris Caulfield enters and is almost immediately grabbed by the official, who didn't see the tag! Bruce and Devine are both in the ring with Nicky Champion -- double clothesline by Bruce and Darryl! Nicky falls to the mat in obvious pain. Bruce makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- Broken Up By Chris Caulfield!]

[bruce raises to his feet and he takes a few punches to the gut by Nicky Champion! The crowd gets behind the valiant USPW National Champion! Nicky fights his way to his feet. He bounces off the ropes -- big boot -- ducked! Bruce crotches himself on the top rope! Chris Caulfield begins shaking the ropes and Bruce falls back inside the ring. The crowd gets fired up as Nicky begins crawling toward his corner again. Chris extends his arm out, keeping the injured hand back. Bruce crawls over and tags out to Devine. Devine comes running in -- Nicky tags out to Caulfield! The USPW World Champion hits Devine with a punch from the apron! He slides inside and sends Devine to the ropes -- One Armed Spinebuster! Caulfield has the crowd behind him! Seduction climbs up on the apron, getting Caulfield's attention. Caulfield gets blindsided by a big boot from Bruce! Nicky Champion re-enters the ring and leaps onto Bruce, sending them both through the ropes to the outside. Darryl Devine grabs Chris Caulfield and slams his hand down on the ring! Caulfield cries out in pain and Devine pulls him over to the turnbuckle. Devine exits the ring and takes Caulfield's hand -- WHAM! Right up against the ringpost! Devine slides back in and makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- Foot On The Ropes! The crowd is absolutely shocked!]

[Devine is angry as he looks down at Chris Caulfield. He yells at Seduction to toss him a chair! Seduction looks around for a moment, giving Chris Caulfield time to stand behind Devine as Devine focuses in on his valet/girlfriend/slave(?) Caulfield grabs Devine from behind -- low blow by Darryl Devine! The referee didn't see it! Devine spins around and rolls Caulfield up, grabbing the tights: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winners: Darryl Devine and Bruce The Giant (Via Pinfall @ 12:15)

Match Rating: B-

[Darryl Devine has scored a victory over the USPW World Champion! Devine rolls outside the ring and Seduction finally hands him a chair. Devine rolls back in and readies the chair for use on Caulfield as the USPW World Champion begins pushing his way to his feet. Caulfield turns -- drop toehold on Devine! Devine goes crashing to the mat, hitting the chair facefirst! Caulfield looks down at Seduction outside the ring who raises her arms in a surrender motion. Bruce and Nicky are battling outside the ring and we're out of time! We'll see you next week as we get closer and closer to USPW Freedom Fight!]

<p><strong>Nikolai Taktarov</strong> vs. American Elemental</p><p> </p><p>

Non Title: A Mystery Returning Opponent vs. Chris Caulfield

Mystery Opponent Guess: Travis Century is not the leader of this troupe de monde, Teddy Powell is your man

Mystery Opponent Hint: He has wrestled for USPW before.

I decided Teddy was a better fit than Sammy.

Nikolai Taktarov vs. American Elemental

Darn you, Angel. You didn't put the legendary AmEl over ANGER, even after all of those great opening matches he gave you. Instead of giving our masked hero his just reward and letting him beat a guy strapped to a wheelchair, you job him again?!?!?!? And I'm supposed to predict that he's gonna beat another talent-less, yet interesting character? This is for contest results only. The only ANGER that should be around here is from me because of AmEl's loss!

Andre Jones vs. Freddie Datsun

Andre's getting a singles push. Datsun is best alongside Davids.

Mick Muscles vs. Alex Braun

Debut match for this invader, so he gets over Muscles, someone we haven't heard from in a while.

JD Morgan vs. James Prudence

It hurts me to pick against the PLATINUM DUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, but I must.

Mystery Opponent Guess: Rick Law

After TCW let him run down a bit, USPW snatches up Law a la NoNeck did in his USPW/PWC dynasty.
