This Is Your Hawaiian Getaway (Welcome to 1977)

Recommended Posts

The year. 1977.

The place. The island of Oahu.

This is the story of one promotion's potential rise to greatness or one promotion's fall into obscurity.

This is your Hawaiian Getaway.

Welcome to the Islands Wrestling.

Enjoy your stay here.

--------------------------------------------------------

Notes about this WIW dynasty, I've made some very slight changes to the product.

Event Ratio from 90 to 80% and Mainstream from Very Low to Low. This is the only wrestling on the islands, families come out to watch it. They want to be at least a little bit entertained by personas and not just by wrestling.

And this is my second attempt at a Dynasty. I did a long forgotten one for I think 05 called TCW (The Forgotten One), which was about a revival of TWL called Texas Championship Wrestling but regardless. I consider this my first real one and let's hope it lasts.

Here's a pretty quick rundown of the starting lineup of WIW circa January 1st, 1977.

http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/AlasiTua.jpg Alasi Tua - Main Event

Alasi Tua is a 6'3, 310 lb. Samoan who is known for his hard-hitting offense and raw menace. He has been one of WIW's top stars since the inception of the promotion, save for a 2 year period where he worked in Japan with BHOTWG, and then on the independent scene in the coastal United States.

http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/BeastTakuma_jhd2.jpg Beast Takuma - Lower Midcard

Taiki "Beast" Takuma is a towering young wrestler who debuted in the fall of '76. Though still extremely green, there is no denying his impressive power and menacing appearance. Takuma is strictly a one-dimensional brawler at this point but, if he could spice up his attacks and shore up his fundamentals, he has the potential to be a great draw.

http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/BudMiller.jpg Bud Miller - Opener

"Will Work For Beer" Bud Miller is a garbage brawler who will almost certainly never rise above a low card position in a tiny indy promotion. Not that he cares too much, as long as he continues to recieve alcohol as payment for his efforts.

On a particularly wild night in the fall of 1976, Miller accidentally ended up on a plane to Hawaii. Waking up in the morning with no money, no clue what happened, and (worst of all) no beer, Miller followed his instincts to the WIW offices and worked out a contract with Kai Kuhaulua to get beer money and (eventually) a plane ticket home.

http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/DaiShunichi.jpg Dai Shunichi - Opener

Dai Shunichi is a good looking young super junior worker. If his ability in the ring ever matches his natural charisma he could be a major star in Japan. He signed on to WIW in December of 1976, as they were looking for some fresh faces from Japan and BHOTWG didn't have anyone available at the moment.

http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/Eruption.jpg Eruption - Upper Midcard

Eruption (Joe Anoa'i) is a Samoan powerhouse who is most well known for his tag team with fellow Samoan Eruption, dubbed thusly upon their debut in WIW in the late 60's. The duo has been a force in the promotion and it is widely speculated the duo should branch out to the bigger promotions stateside, but they have remained loyal to WIW so far.

While both men still have subpar performance skills, their unique look and high impact power moves have hidden it beautifully so far.

http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/IoeiKuhaulua.jpg Ioei Kuhaulua - Main Event

"Young Gun" Ioei Kuhaulua is the youngest of the three brothers in Hawaii's well-known wrestling family and has slowly worked his way up the card in their home promotion of WIW. He is just getting his first taste of championship gold, having ended the long title reign of brother Makaio in December of 1976.

Slightly smaller than his two brothers, Ioei is more of an all-rounder but still keeps with the family tradition of working a technical-heavy style.

http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/JoeyMargarita.jpg Joey Margarita - Color Commentator

Joey Margarita is WIW's color man and has been for almost 5 years. A former corporate executive and lifelong wrestling fan, he retired to Hawaii and got involved with the promotion as one of his many forms of leisure, which also extend to playing golf, drinking Margaritas (hence the name), and several other vices. He has missed more shows than all of WIW's wrestlers combined.

Regular drinking partner of Bud Miller now that Bud's part of the roster too.

http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/KaiKukaulua.jpg Kai Kukaulua - Road Agent

Kai Kuhaulua is the owner of WIW and was its main star until his retirement in 1972, which unfortunately triggered a major downturn for the promotion, as he was far and away the biggest star and not even his sons, all three of which are wrestlers with the promotion, could pick up the slack.

With the promotion losing money at an alarming rate, Kuhaulua made an agreement with BHOTWG to send some of their younger talent over, which dramtically improved WIW's undercard and has turned things around.

http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/KikumaHonma.jpg Kikuma Honma - Midcard

Kikuma Honma is a veteran of the Japanese scene who is rapidly approaching 50. He never won any major titles and gradually slid down the card at a remarkably consistent pace, as evidenced by his positions on the GCG Parade of Champions card- He worked the 8th match in 1964, 6th in '65, 5th in '66, 4th in '67, and the second match in both 1968 and 1969.

He was finally put out to pasture, so to speak, in 1970, but stayed active on the independent scene and was respected for helping train younger talent. In 1974 Burning Hammer asked him to relocate to WIW and assist with their talent development there, a task which he has embraced.

http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/MakaioKuhaulua.jpg Makaio Kuhaulua - Upper Midcard

"The Black Sheep" Makaio Kuhaulua is the middle child in Hawaii's well-known wrestling family and has been one of WIW's top two heels since he turned his back on the family in an 8-man tag team match at the third Island Classic in 1969.

A sound technician like his brothers, he hasn't worked outside the promotion yet but has said he would prefer to work in the continental U.S. as opposed to Japan. He easily has the most charisma of the 3, which was the main reason he was chosen to turn heel.

http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/ManoKeanu.jpg Mano Keanu - Midcard

Mano Keanu is a Hawaiian rookie who should become WIW's next big star if he is handled correctly, as he has the look, the charisma, and the ability to get the crowd into his matches. Having only debuted 6 months ago, he has been put into a tag-team with Unutoa Tomalu known as the Polynesian Express.

http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/NakanaKuhaulua.jpg Nakana Kuhaulua - Main Event

Nakana Kuhaulua is the eldest of the three Kuhaulua brothers and a stalwart of WIW's main event scene, having been a 4-time champion for the promotion. While they are all technicians through and through, he is the only one of the siblings to wrestle outside of Hawaii so far, working a pair of tours for Burning Hammer.

Now in his 30's, his prospects for stardom outside of his home promotion have dwindled to nil but it's widely expected that he will someday take the reigns of WIW should the promotion last that long.

http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/NaotakaFujino.jpg Naotaka Fujino - Midcard

"Funky Monkey" Naotaka Fujino is a Japanese youngster who got his nickname from an unfortunate incident during a match where he slipped on a puddle of water and spent several seconds trying to catch his balance, flailing wildly. Noting that it looked like a disco dance, workers in the back and even writers christened the unfortunate young lion and he has been trying to live it down since.

BHOTWG tried to aid in this cause, sending Fujino to WIW to train while allowing time to pass in the hopes the nickname will die. Still only 20 and a good prospective Super Junior, Fujino has been doing well in Hawaii.

http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/RexKuhio.jpg Rex Kuhio - Announcer

Rex Kuhio is an announcer for various televised sports running out of Hawaii and is the most despised man in his profession, as he has cost many a broadcaster a Hawaiian retreat by taking any work that comes at him. Kuhio has also been the voice of WIW since its inception.

http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/TatsunoriIne_alt3.jpg Tatsunori Ine - Midcard

"Red Sun Rising" Tatsunori Ine is a young Japanese worker who is exceptionally gifted athletically. Ine was even signed to Burning Hammer for a little while but it became clear that so far he has gotten by exlusively on athleticism and had very little idea on how to work a wrestling match. Tatsu was sent to WIW to rectify this.

http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/TitoBumfhole.jpg Tito Bumfhole - Lower Midcarder

Tito Bumfhole is a good worker who spent much of his young career in Mexico before going to WIW in 1973. He has been a steady undercard presence who is gradually working his way up in a promotion where time served usually dictates how hard you are pushed.

http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/Tsunami.jpg Tsunami - Upper Midcarder

Tsunami (Eddie Salavea) is a well-built Samoan smashing machine who is best known as half of the tag team known as Double Disaster in WIW. They have yet to leave the tiny scene in Hawaii for greener pastures but if their talent is discovered they should recieve offers to do so.

Tsunami is the more athletic of the two and has quite an impressive frame. Of the two he seems to have more potential as a singles star, which has to be considered an unlikely possibility as the two men are close friends.

http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/UnutolaTomalu.jpg Unutola Tomalu - Midcarder

Unutola Tomalu is one half of the Polynesian Express, a young tag team put together by WIW. Tomalu is relatively small for a Samoan and has begun to emulate his partner Mano Keanu's high flying style after starting his career as a brawler like the majority of his Samoan brethren.

http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/Z-Man.jpg Z-Man - Lower Midcarder

Z-Man is a decent luchador-style worker who learned his craft in Mexico and returned to work the indy scene in and around California. He has yet to branch out very much and is in low demand from the major promotions because of his tiny stature, but is considered a valuable part of the indy scene.

His travels have taken him to the Hawaiian islands recently, to WIW.

Makaio Kuhaulua vs. Ioei Kuaulua ©

A rematch of Ioei's first title win just last month will take place at the Island Classic 1977 as the Black Sheep of the family invokes his former champion rematch clause. Will Ioei be unable to hold off his brother, the 3 time former champion, or will he prove himself championship material much like his brothers and father before him?

http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/AlasiTua.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/VS.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/KikumaHonma.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/VS.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/NakanaKuhaulua.jpg

Alasi Tua vs. Kikuma Honma vs. Nakana Kuhaulua

It's a Hawaiian Threesome match for #1 contendership of the Hawaiian Title. Will Nakana Kuhaulua be seeing one of his brothers in singles action next month? Will Kikuma Honma have one last title reign in him? Or will Alasi Tua dominate the competition as per usual for this 310 pound Samoan?

http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/TatsunoriIne_alt3.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/BeastTakuma.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/VS.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/ManoKeanu.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/UnutolaTomalu.jpg

Mystic Warriors (Beast Takuma and Tatsunori Ine) vs. Polynesian Express (Mano Keanu and Unutola Tomalu)

The Polynesian Express may have met their match in the unlikely duo of Beast Takuma and Tatsunori Ine, self proclaimed Mystic Warriors. Tatsunori himself, said "These pretty boys, don't understand the Banzai Beast and Red Son Rising himself". We'll find out in tag team action if Tatsunori walks the walk to victory.

Z-Man vs. Naotaka Fujino

A highflying affair is going to go down between world traveller Z-Man and the resident Funky Monkey of Oahu, Naotaka Fujino. Will Z-Man get a L, or will Naotaka flunk?

Polynesian Express is a great team, no reason they should lose

Z-Man vs. Naotaka Fujino

Awesome new render aside, Z-Man is a total jobber. Fujino with the easy win in a boring match between high fliers. Need more giant Samoans imo.

Alright, here goes my first show. Feel free to tell me what you think post-show clearly.

Welcome To The Islands Wrestling: Island Classic 1977

Live! From Waikiki Beach!

Opening Match: Z-Man vs. Naotaka Fujino

Match Summary: It starts off with some jokes with Z-Man doing a little dance, capitalizing on Naotaka's unfortunate Funky Monkey nickname. Naotaka became distracted with rage, which is rare for the fun-loving high flyer, and in turn got dropped with a dropkick from Z-Man. It was a back and forth highflying affair with the crowd eating it up. The final moment though had Naotaka try a elbow drop from the top, only for Z-Man to roll out of the way and climb with insane speed up and drop a Zenith Top Rope Press and a pinfall.

Winner via Pinfall at 9:47: Z-Man (D-)

Post-Match, Naotaka got to his feet and approached the victorious Z-Man with a hand extended in a sign of respect. Z-Man just shook his head and walked away, getting quite a bit of boos for his lack of respect. (E-)

Tag Team Match: Mystic Warriors (Beast Takuma and Tatsunori Ine) vs. Polynesian Express (Mano Keanu and Unutola Tomalu)

Match Summary: The Mystic Warriors got the upperhand early on, isolating Unutola Tomalu most of the match, showing excellent chemistry for their first match together. Eventually though, Unutola was able to get away from the "Banzai Beast" Takuma's beatdown and do a Flame Tag (a hot tag, named after the Blazin' Flames of SWF Fame of course) to Mano Keanu who despite his size, was able to clear house. This was shortlived though as Beast was still the legal man and was beating the living daylights out of the fan favorite Keanu. Beast threw Keanu towards the ropes, and was getting ready for a Lariat when Keanu ducked, and quickly pulled Beast's legs from him, rolling him up for a flash pinfall.

Winners Via Pinfall at 13:01: Polynesian Express (Mano Keanu and Unutola Tomalu) (D-)

http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/TatsunoriIne_alt3.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/BeastTakuma.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/ManoKeanu.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/UnutolaTomalu.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/Eruption.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/Tsunami.jpg

After the match, Keanu and Tomalu get mics and call out Double Disaster, requesting a title match against them since they just proved they were the top contenders. Of course, they did this with their backs turned against the Mystic Warriors who were in the ring. And wouldn't you know it? The next thing the crowd sees is Tatsunori Ine jumping off Beast Takuma's shoulders in ring, going over the top rope, splashing upon both Tomalu and Keanu, taking everyone out.

Just then, Tsunami and Eruption come out with mics of their own, laughing at the now knocked out Polynesian Express, saying "What happened just now, will be much worse when disaster strikes." (E+)

http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/AlasiTua.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/VS.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/KikumaHonma.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/VS.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/NakanaKuhaulua.jpg

Hawaiian Threesome Match: Alasi Tua vs. Kikuma Honma vs. Nakana Kuhaulua

Match Summary: Alasi Tua and Kikuma Honma reach an early agreement to team up against Nakana Kuhaulua to get rid of him during the match, but Nakana's sly moves made Kikuma Honma be the recipient of a Samoan Knockout Headbutt, with no distraction for the raging Samoan with his eyes on the title's assault on him as well. Another Samoan K.O Headbutt later, Alasi's picking up the pin.

Winner via Pinfall at 16:44: Alasi Tua (D-)

---------------------------------------------------------------------

http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/MakaioKuhaulua.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/IoeiKuhaulua.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/AlasiTua.jpg

We cut to the top of the ramp, to Makaio Kahaulua clapping sarcastically, telling Alasi Tua "Bravo for taking out my brother cuz, but it took you 15 minutes longer than it'll take me to take out lil' Ioei in a few moments. And Alasi? I'll see you next month, when I prove once again that ditching this family was the very thing I needed to become a champion." (D+)

http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/MakaioKuhaulua.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/VS.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/IoeiKuhaulua.jpg

WIW Hawaiian Title Match: Makaio Kuhaulua vs. Ioei Kuaulua ©

Match Summary: Makaio wasted no time in beating upon his younger brother the second he walked into the ring. Makaio kept the upper hand until he got a bit too ****y and took the time to yell at a fan outside the ring. With that, Ioei went and tackled his brother's knee, bringing the bigger Hawaiian down, and getting him into a leg lock, with Makaio barely able to reach the ropes. Time ticked closer and closer to the 30th minute mark when Ioei got the upper hand with a Hawaiian Toe Hold, that Makaio was unable to get out of.

Winner Via Submission at 29:28: Ioei Kuaulua © (D+)

Alasi Tua v. Ioei Kuhaulua ©

Alasi Tua won last month in a Hawaiian Threesome match, and Ioei retained against his brother Makaio. Will Ioei be able to retain against Tua who crushed two men in one match, or will Ioei be the next Kuhaulua to get a Samoan K.O Headbutt?

Polynesian Express (Mano Keanu and Unutola Tomalu) vs. Double Disaster (Eruption and Tsunami) ©

Polynesian Express got a surprise victory against Mystic Warriors at the Island Classic and called out Double Disaster. Mano and Unutola got jumped from behind by Mystic Warriors right after, and the carnage left from it, Double Disaster guaranteed to Polynesian Express that it'll be much worse when they get done with them.

http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/Z-Man.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/VS.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/TitoBumfhole.jpg

Z-Man vs. Tito Bumfhole

Both men learned their craft in Mexico, land of Lucha Libre, so this definitely will be a high flying match. Who will pick up the win though? Z-Man for the second straight match, or Teen Idol Tito for his many female fans?

Kikuma Honma vs. Dai Shunichi

In this opener, we have the veteran Kikuma Honma take on the debuting Dai Shunichi. Will Shunichi get lucky and beat the 20+ year vet, or will Honma's experience be too much for the rookie?

BAH I should have been perfect last prediction but I accidentally bolded the wrong guy in the title match. Damn my lack of sleep! None the less a good show, their short, sweet and to the point. I like it.

Hawaiian Title Match

Alasi Tua v. Ioei Kuhaulua ©

I would imagine this is the direction you're going to move with these two feuding over the title. Of course thats what I imagine I've also been known to imagine a circus seal vs. brontosaurus last animal standing match so that tells you all you need to know about me.

Hawaiian Tag Title Match

Polynesian Express vs. Double Disaster ©

Much like before this is going to be the tag team feud I can feel it. Who the heck can bet against a team with the name EXPRESS? I can't unless their facing the champions in the second ever show...

Z-Man vs. Tito Bumfhole

I love me some Tito but Tom Zenk is going places.

Kikuma Honma vs. Dai Shunichi

Comradebot said that there is nothing cool about Shunichi and mentioned Honma's stache. Well I agree that Honma's stache is the superior facial hair in your promotion and in fact deserves its own championship. That being said Shunichi has superior bed head and lets face it in 2010 messy hair = cool. What its 1977 you say? You know what I say? Well nothing really good point.

Too early to change a champ

Hawaiian Tag Title Match

Same here and I just like Double Disaster more anyway

Z-Man vs. Tito Bumfhole

I could see this one going either way and I like both guys so this is just a random pick.

Kikuma Honma vs. Dai Shunichi

Honma is likely going to lose much more than he wins but he´s still a midcarder while Dai is opener so I´d say that Honma should take this one

Too soon for a change, I think, but Alasi will still look strong.

Hawaiian Tag Title Match

Polynesian Express vs. Double Disaster ©I love Double Disaster. They're total beasts and won't lose here.

Z-Man vs. Tito Bumfhole

I'd give Tito's unborn nephews a better shot against the Z-Man.

Kikuma Honma vs. Dai Shunichi

I have to go with 'Bot's reasoning here. Kikuma is the leader of Moustache Brigade Hawaii.

A long, long, you-can't-fire-me-just-because-I-suck Written deal! But that's all the more reason to use him, he keeps show costs (and ratings) down!

Not to mention he's awesome!

Best story ever with him randomly ending up in Hawaii. Now he has guaranteed beer money until 1986 and gets to live in a tropical paradise. If only we all could be so lucky...

Like what I see so far Nick... Except why aren't you using Bud Miller (Besides the obvious fact he sucks!)??? The man has a beer tab to pay, for god's sake! :D

He drinks all day with Joey Margarita. I don't need to book him at all, though he's going to make an appearance sooner or later. I've got a decent idea going.

Opening Match: Kikuma Honma vs. Dai Shunichi

Match Summary: Right from the get-go, this was an awkward match. Dai Shunichi couldn't get a grip on the vet Honma, and got almost no offense in as Honma wrestled circles against the debuting Super Junior. Thankfully, this match ended quickly as Honma hit a ferocious uppercut and got the pinfall.

Winner Via Pinfall at 10:35: Kikuma Honma (E-)

Lucha Libre Match: Z-Man vs. Tito Bumfhole

Match Summary: Tito started off with putting a hand out, as is common in a Lucha match as a sign of respect, only for Z-Man to swat it away and irish whip Tito, only to have Tito turn it around into a headscissors, bringing Z-Man down for a surprise quick pin.

Tito 1 - Z-Man 0

Z-Man became furious at losing the first fall, and brought out his A-Game, with nailing a Zenith Top Rope Press onto Tito at the 10 minute mark.

Tito 1 - Z-Man 1

The two competitors were evenly matched until Z-Man rolled Tito up and held the tights (which referee Benny Guardado missed seeing somehow) and got the three count.

Tito 1 - Z-Man 2

Winner of 2 falls to 1 at 15:38: Z-Man (D-)

Post-Match, Z-Man taunted Tito saying "This is my island. I'm a high flyer of the highest magnitude, you're nothing." (E-)

WIW Hawaiian Tag Team Title Match: Polynesian Express (Mano Keanu and Unutola Tomalu) vs. Double Disaster (Eruption and Tsunami) ©

Match Summary: Double Disaster got the early advantage naturally with their size, once again isolating their Samoan brother Unutola, wearing him down piece by piece, only for Mano to get another Flame Tag, and try to clear house... but it is pretty hard to move an elephant in the room. In this case, two elephants in the ring. As the match wore on, and Eruption got Mano Keanu on his shoulders for Tsunami to complete the Slam Of Fire (essentially a 3D), out of nowhere flys in Tatsunori Ine off the top rope, decapitating poor Mano Keanu, and immediately running out of the ring. It was more than enough for the ref to call for the bell, and give this match to the Polynesian Express via a disqualification.

Winners via DQ for Interference at 17:03: Polynesian Express (Mano Keanu and Unutola Tomalu) (D+)

http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/TatsunoriIne_alt3.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/BeastTakuma_jhd2.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/ManoKeanu.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/UnutolaTomalu.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/Tsunami.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/Eruption.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/BudMiller.jpg

As Mano Keanu lies in the ring, the Mystic Warriors talk trash about the Polynesian Express, saying they can thank them for that mercy kill. Meanwhile, Eruption and Tsunami furious about their stolen victory, reek havoc ringside, flipping over ringside tables, tearing down a barricade, only to try to be placiated by Bud Miller who was ringside, having a drink with Joey Margarita.

What do you think happened to him? Double headbutt from Double Disaster. (E, D-)

-------------------------------------------------------

http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/AlasiTua.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/VS.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/IoeiKuhaulua.jpg

WIW Hawaiian Title Match: Alasi Tua v. Ioei Kuhaulua ©

Match Summary: It was a hard hitting affair, with the smaller Ioei actually holding his own in a punch for punch fight with Alasi Tua. Once Alasi got the advantage of both size and strength, Ioei started playing a cat and mouse game, by keeping out of Alasi's reach, and constantly working over his knee with chop blocks and kicks to the back of it. The pivotal moment of the match though, was when after all of Ioei's punishment to Tua's knee, it wound up buckling when he went to lift up Ioei for a shoulderbreaker. The crafty hawaiian took advantage of this and locked in the Hawaiian Toe Hold and got the well deserved tapping of the monster.

Winner via Submission at 23:03: Ioei Kuhaulua (D+)

http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/AlasiTua.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/IoeiKuhaulua.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/MakaioKuhaulua.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/NakanaKuhaulua.jpg

The young champion's glory was short lived though, when his jealous older brother Makaio stormed the ring and started beating on the very person who beat him straight in that ring for two straight months. Alasi Tua joined in, thinking clearly the enemy of my enemy is my friend. The crowd went crazy though, when the figurehead and eldest brother of the Kuhaulua clan, Nakana came out and saved Ioei from a serious beatdown. (D)

------------------------------------------------------

Final Show Grade: (D)

Notes From The Show: Rex Kuhio got into a heated argument with a fan during the beatdown of Ioei. I handled it by talking him down calmly, reminding him that it's all the wrestler's responsibility to argue with fans, not his.

Alasi Tua & Makaio Kuhaulua vs. Nakana and Ioei Kuhaulua

At Wrath Of Kamehameha, Ioei Kuhaulua narrowly defeated Alasi Tua, when dejected brother Makaio came down and assaulted him from behind, and things got worse when Alasi Tua joined in, but luckily at the last moment, older brother Nakana came down to help out the champion. This month? The Brothers Kuhaulua take on the Black Sheep of the family Makaio, and the savage samoan Alasi Tua. Will the brothers be able to beat out this threat, or will the unholy alliance between Makaio and Tua be too much for Hawaii's favorite sons?

http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/Tsunami.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/VS.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/ManoKeanu.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/VS.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/TatsunoriIne_alt3.jpg

Tsunami vs. Mano Keanu vs. Tatsunori Ine

In this special Hawaiian Threesome match, a representative for each of the three teams that have engaged in battle in the past few months will be represented in singles action. The Mystic Warriors have been a thorn in the tag scene since their formation two months ago, even as much as disrupting the WIW Hawaiian Tag Title match last month. Who will win and prove their team as the best? "Red Son Rising" Tatsunori Ine? The highflying Mano Keanu? Or one half of the tag team champions, Tsunami?

Z-Man vs. Unutola Tomalu

Z-Man has been on a hot streak lately, abiet by nefarious means. Will he pull another tainted victory off against half of the Polynesian Express, or will Tomalu put that cheater Z-Man down for the count?

http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/KikumaHonma.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/VS.jpghttp://i790.photobucket.com/albums/yy190/tomisland/Diary%20Game/NaotakaFujino.jpg

Kikuma Honma put the ends to one rookie's debut last month, will he be able to put another youngster in his place, or will the Funky Monkey bust a move that will Honma out of commission?
