Not an embarrassment thing, just on a lot of forums there are always people that tend to argue and start fights with everything someone says something that remotely disagree with (trolls). I have learned in my old age the best way to not get into conflict is to avoid it to begin with. I think it was a decent first dynasty attempt. There are some things I plan to change and some I plan to keep. I will try on the grammar, honestly, I think my problem was instead of pacing myself and doing a little bit here and there over a week - I decided to try and write it out in one setting which came back to haunt me. I can whip out the art fast, I should have not tried it with the writing. I think my fingers were moving faster then my brain when it came to laying ideas down to the post. Thanks but my skills are with single panels and big splash pages, not sequential art. I think it has to do with the fact I have been doing screen print (t-shirts) and posters for so long. I could not tell a sequential story for the life of me if I tried. I did do some coloring for a comic out of college, however the pay was not what I dreamed, also did not get to actually draw as much. However, you are like a godfather around here so giving the dynasty a look meant a great deal so I have no problem telling it now.</p><p> </p><p> I took Warmonger, turned him heel and gave him the Evil Incarnate gimmick. I actually was going to make it my avatar but I have plans for him doing something else right now down the line (next show). </p><p> </p><p> The only thing I changed on Warmonger, not really changed just made up, was his height; because for some reason really evil villains are always huge in my mind. I think I picked that up from all the old horror movies and comics from the 80s, Jason was my favorite slasher film villain and the first time I seen Darth Vader he seemed so HUGE. So I think the idea just stuck in there.</p><p> </p><p> Thanks for giving the dynasty a read, even if it is a one time thing. Which is a good thing because I want to start something between the two of them in the main show. Hopefully C-W-A does not turn into a little punk and make problems backstage. I know it is strange to not jump in with your user character, but right now I just wanted to test the water with C-W-A and James Avatar in the ring. Like the results so far. Might give C-W-A a few more dark matches<strong> Rating D</strong>.</p><p> </p><p> <em>Bile-vs-Mirror Universe John Gordon-vs-Eraser</em></p><p> Everyone hates Bile as always, I am getting frustrated with this and may make it my personal goal to get this guy to at least a title run, with the fans on his side. This was done to get a better idea of how to use these characters. Knew the rating would be less then spectacular. To be honest I am using these dark matches to get a feel for some of the characters working together, as well as helping them get a bit of a rub. <strong>Rating E-</strong></p><p> </p><p> The start of the show showing various vignettes was filler. I imagine the promotion going out and shooting all the off sight promos before they release the DVD to the masses. So no rating with those. For one I think it would take up too much of the show that could be dedicated to wrestling and other angles. Another thing is that people would be sick of seeing the characters by the end of the program.</p><p> </p><p> Actually Show</p><p> </p><p> Promo with Maurice and Ceri was a <strong>D-</strong>. Maurice is a beast on the mic as is Ceri. My biggest concern is the two of them do not seem to work well together, it is kind of awkward. I did not want to change their relationship (editing) so I am going to figure out a way to work around it,. Maybe hire someone else? Or just leave Maurice on his own when it comes to the mic? I could just give him some eye candy with Molly, but a heel turn for her makes no sense right now. Thankfully it is still early so I can do something. I do not know what to do right now but I am sure something will come to me.</p><p> </p><p> <em>Quick Silver -vs- Maurice Jackson</em></p><p> Quick Silver was off his game tonight. Me having him lose clean to a submission might have something to do with it, along with the fact he is still very green.They work well together, but the matches, the actually wrestling is really bad. After a few more matches under their belts with other wrestlers I may have them meet up again down the line, just to see the change in rating. <strong>Rating E</strong></p><p> </p><p> Jester meeting with the mysterious F.E.A.R Leader Apocalypse scored a <strong>D-</strong>, wow! Also it bumped Jester's acting and performance skills, which is great. I think I need to look at Jester again, I was gonna leave him as a midcarder for others on their way to the top, but things might change.</p><p> </p><p> Segment with Devilfish, Man o War and Lone Shark got a <strong>E</strong>, kind of sucks when my main faces are giving off such low ratings, but I am more about establishing characters and story lines at this point in the game. So I am not that worried about it right now. </p><p> </p><p> <em>Tag Team Titles</em>, I was not going to have these titles change hands, however I had a backstage incident with Vertigo so I decided change the out come. Which means I had to manipulate the storyline a bit (which in retrospect makes things more interesting) and have F.E.A.R take the titles. <strong>E rating</strong>, kind of expected it since I basically had Massacre playing super monster and dominating the match.</p><p> </p><p> Man -o- War and X-Calbire got a <strong>D-</strong> in their segment. I think Man O War may be one of the best on the mic in the federation. Does not hurt X-Calibre is decent as well.</p><p> </p><p> <em>Four Man</em> - terrible wrestling, it confuses me as I thought it was gonna be a good match.X-Calibre was a bit off tonight, could it be because there is no drinking backstage? Everyone came away improving skills which, to me, is more important than a super high rating right now at this stage. Building stars and all that jazz. <strong>Rating E</strong></p><p> </p><p> Angle with F.E.A.R garnered a good <strong>D-</strong>. Totally expected, though I was assumed it was going to be a solid D.</p><p> </p><p> <em>Main Event </em>had decent wrestling along with a hot crowd. Got a <strong>D- rating</strong>, thought it was going to be higher, damn. Hopefully this can change. I really did expected this match to get at least a D+. Had a good crowd and good wrestling, perhaps I did not build the match up enough throughout the show. Main goal right now is to get to a comfy place as far as money is concerned so I can run about 14 shows a year and I do not think I can accomplish that if our Main Events are constantly low. Everyone did improve in their skills though, always a good thing.</p><p> </p><p> Apocalypse being unleashed earned a <strong>D</strong>, also surprising. I would have never assumed Warmonger(Apocalypse) could be so damn good. Glad I decided to use him for the Apocalypse character.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Overall I got a E+ on the show</strong>, ugh. Could be considered a success though. The main thing going against me is I forgot to some of the characters to unchained storylines, like I wanted to do before booking. So the fans came away a bit put off as they expected more story. While I did add story it did not really establish with the game because I forgot the add the actually story lines, rookie mistake, I know.</p><p> </p><p> I did establish Apocalypse as a force to be reckoned with, hinted at what the conceptual title is and helped establish some of the characters with new directions..and planted the seeds for future stories, even though they were not super obvious... Jester being one. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> Stay tuned.</p><p> </p><p> I think I am thinking more like a writer (poor writer at that) instead of a booker. I need to juggle those two mind sets to help move the federation forward without sacrificing anything.</p><p> </p><p> Wondering what everyone thought about the Maurice Jackson character thus far? Is the gimmick a bit too much? With the style of the federation I did not really think having a character who blatantly breaks kayfabe while defending it for another country, would be a problem but two people have mentioned to me that it may be a bit too much. Just wondering. </p><p> </p><p> I also need to figure out a interesting way to have people vote for their favorites each show to be included in the conceptual title matches, doing a poll would make it a nightmare to post the predictions card for the next show because I would have to post the next card, a few days before the show and not everyone is online all the time trolling the boards. Been hectic around here, setting up new pc that just came in. Have not had a laptop as the wife took it on her trip - been using the phone to check messages and e-mails. Still alive and well, just a mere hiccup. Once the pc is up and running I will get the artwork done. The show is done but on the laptop, which as I said is with my wife. No worries. Be back soon.
