The Minor Questions Thread

Recommended Posts

I have a really dumb question so please bear with me.

How do i check my saved reports??

I have watched an entire match and then saved my report but the .txt files are complete blank when i open it.

Is there any other way to do it?? I have also skimmed through matches and saved reports but still it is blank whenever i open the .txt files.

I will be grateful to anybody who can help me with this.

This sounds like a bug to me. Are you sure you're using the latest patch? If not it's located in the Technical Support forum at the top of the page.

do camps evolve skill-wise and does their rep ever increase?

I think there is a major lack in camps in the default data so I imported all the ones from MW, and most of them have low reps, just wondering if this will increase and help their fighters evolve.

also, how much do camps actually effect the fighter's evolution?

I don't think a camp's training strengths can change, but their reputation definitely can. If you sort camps by reputation from time to time you'll notice some changes.

I'm nearly certain that the reputation changes are based on the success of the camp's members. I'm not sure if it's just based on the reputation percentage of the fighters or if it considers the wins and losses themselves (maybe things like level of competition and type of win/loss as well), because I've never tested it, but I guess the effect would be about the same either way. I believe it's the latter, for what it's worth (not much).

As for how much of an effect the camp has on a fighter's growth, it seems to be pretty significant to me, at least compared to not being in a camp at all. How much difference it makes to be in a World Class boxing camp as opposed to an Average boxing camp, I really don't know.

Maybe someone who has more experience with the series can be more helpful and less vague. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Camps can evolve over time but only if the modmaker in question has programmed it to happen through narratives.

As for reputation, same as Iceicle: It doesn't matter much, and logic dictates it performs better as its members perform.

Camps certainly affect their members, but not in every way. That depends on their 'destiny' stat, which is hidden. I don't know this for sure, but I do know it's no guarantee people turn out to be submission kings if their 'destiny' points are maxed out. Also mental or physical stats don't necessarily improve, even if the camp has a fantastic rating on it. It can be a serious booster, but only if they have the potential.

When adding fight histories does it automatically update the fighters records or do you have to open up their profile and edit their record every time? I feel like when I first started editing histories it would update their record as well. Sorry if this is a repeat but I just noticed it as I usually update any real world mod I download

When editing pre-game, the data check doesn't recognize mistakes such as Associate Contracts with guaranteed fights or fighters having Standard Contracts with multiple organizations. Since these aren't recognized as critical errors, can contract issues like this effect gameplay or is it just a small matter of how accurate you want your mod to be?

You have to open the fighter and manually add the win/loss record. For example, if Ken Shamrock is 0/0 in database, and you add all of his fights, you'll have to go into his profile and make his fight record 28-15-2.

Word of warning: I've had problems with Fight Histories for whatever reason defaulting the selected fighters.

Regenerated Fighters and retired fighters

If I'm using a database and it starts in 1998 or so, and there are retired fighters as of that year and earlier already in the database, if regeneration is set to 'yes' will those retired fighters be used to create new regenerated fighters? Anybody know.

Nope. Only fighters who retire or die while you're playing will regenerate.

You could just copy them in the main editor and turn those copies into new fighters yourself, though.

The default selection is 'Normal Event', but you can use the drop-down list to select your TV show.

After your first episode airs, you can schedule the second one, and so on. You can air the show as often as possible, or wait as long as you want. I don't think there's a limit to how long you can wait between episodes, though I may be mistaken.

Can we edit contracts using the in-game editor while continuing to play the game?

I'm in UFC and Ben Henderson (my Lightweight Champion) pulled out of negotiations and refuses to negotiate further. I don't want him gone (six months left on contract with 1 fight to go)... He's popular and the champion. I just want to extend his contract by another fight or increase the term of his contract... Is this possible?

Please help.

TEW13 allows you to edit contracts in-game, so maybe we can hope for that feature in the next WMMA game, but for now you've pretty much screwed yourself.

If he doesn't sign with anyone else then you'll eventually be able to negotiate with him again.
Quick questions, playing with XCC and I am LLR right now.

Naturally I need to have some financial parity, so aside from getting everyone on low bonus-less contracts. What is also good things to do to make as to make as much money and also keep the reputation growing?

Also, is it worth lowering ticket costs to the absolute lowest? I would get higher attendances, does that equate to better rep gains/money gains? Or would that only cost me money and have no effect on rep?

More general tips to help Low Level Regional survival would be nice.

Don't adjust your ticket price. I'd advise playing as a promotion already in the db. It's not really fun to build one from the ground up.
