Yeah, I can't get the CVE mod. The download links (and mirrors) are all either expired or use sites with really bad capcha (fully distorted). About what I expected for a five year old game.

 

Oops! I've been keeping Diana Marr stifled (two fights a year) because I have her pegged to one day be really good (at least standing up). Yuya I have down at KDMFC to get some seasoning but in her only fight (in almost two years) she got the brakes beat off her by Sayoko Ebisawa (submission (kimura) 1:05 into round 1). I now know why the cans I've used have occasionally managed to pull off upsets. They were too well rounded. Roz Wareing managed to rise to #1 contender and I intended for her to be a can. Of course, Michelle destroyed her but still, I didn't expect her to get that far.

 

The workers I've kinda focused on developing (due to my aforementioned criteria) have been Daniela Sadorra, Gianna Russo, Henrietta Stein, Jessica Herbig (Self's redone Britney Hollywood render factored into this), Kirsten Page (Thunder Foot ), Leona Deschanel (Self's Coco render), Louise Griffin, Monica Masters, Rachel McGuiness, Rain Richards, Rennaya Rives, Romi Takahashi, Sonya Charlton (Self's JMB render!), Shauna Underwood (my future legend, even after she got pasted by Hope Lehane), and Toni Dietrich. I also have some folks stashed in KDM FC that I have high hopes for (not the least of which is Sayoko Ebisawa, Naora Kikuchi, Hanako Shimizu, and Saya Ikegami (who, now that I realize what you said, would seem to make a perfect can).

 

I've done fairly well thus far. After a couple days of researching, I went heavy on Negotiation and Promotion with my user skills (9 each) and seemed to have lucked out with my personnel selections. Still can't sign Sarah Vaughan away from XCC but I don't really need her. Eventually I'll stop being cheap and steal her if only to feed her to Sayoko. Sarah's at high regional now and XCC is still at low regional so I'm guessing at some point, she's going to refuse to re-sign with them.

 

Had a bad rash of retirements in my first game (eight in the first year) so I set most of the women's destiny to 'very old' across the board (re-checked after starting the second game and realized I had forgotten the XCC workers except Monica Masters). I went into it with a TEW bias (TEW's regen isn't nearly as fast as WMMA's). But I'm finding that destiny only goes so far. My favorite can, Viv Yoman, abruptly retired after taking 4 losses. No news story ('after next match or 1 year') just boom, fourth loss, I'M OUT! Oops, Maja Urkaden just did the same thing (though two weeks after her third loss).

 

One question I've seen asked but never saw an answer to is, does a camp's reputation do anything? I've had a lot of my better fighters join Femme Fatale but then I had a bunch of cans join too so the camp's rep seems to bounce between 'good' and 'decent' a lot. I'm guessing the quality of workers who are members contributes to this but I'm not really sure. I'm trying to avoid making a TEW comparison (reputation = quality of worker produced - or rate of improvement for WMMA) but I'm afraid that one of my up & comers (Allyson Arroway, for example) might refuse to fight a can (like Alisha Wood) because they're teammates or something.

 

EDIT: And yeah, I think I joined the GDS group on Steam when it started (by panix?).

 

One more question. Poking through the editor, I see the destiny section allows for setting a fighter as a 'big game player' or a 'choke artist' or neither. What exactly qualifies as a 'big game' (or match, in this instance)? Is it simply being in a main event or does a title need to be on the line or is it even more expansive than that? I can guess that a choke artist is a fighter who often loses fights they really should win (grabbing defeat from the jaws of victory, so to say).

Reputation of camps has to do with who joins, I believe. High rep camps are more picky.

 

I think Big Game is any main event, but I base that on intuition. Never tested it. Choke artists are those that UNDERperform in said main events, instead of overperform like BigGamePlayers.

 

I see you already found out that the BJJ black belts are the queens of C-verse MMA when using 'regular' rules (Ebisawa & Lehane). They are nerved a little through engine changes in WMMA4.

 

I've made a rerender of Herbig because of people like you who know every TEW render by heart. She should be in the gfx pack.

 

The exciting strikers like Marr and Bergman are best used against mediocre strikers, where they tend to put on a two-way beatdown, with knockdowns galore. That's what gets you fantastic fights (or excellent if it's a comeback win).

2. Can i change mailsettings for fighters in my roster don't want to see what camp they join? You can adjust Shortlisted fighters, can't seem to find it for my actual fighters.</p><p>

1. I have taken over KDMFC and adjusted the weightclasses fighter limits, yet they keep hiring. Is this normal?</p><p>

2. KDMFC was in financial trouble. Are there any other criteria that give me a chance to take over an organisation? 3 years ingame and no other company that would let me buy them...</p>

No, not unless you shortlist them.

If you added him via the main editor then he would only be available for games started after that point. You would need to import him into games started before that point.

Yes, they operate independently of the parent.

Yes, there are multiple factors, including size and the owner.
