Supreme Wrestling Federation: Under Pressure

Recommended Posts

Is the nickname 'Expert'? Prof. Stern was a great character and perfect to go against Chris Caulfield (IIRC?)

Yep, he'll be known as 'The Expert' and 'The Icon of Insanity' at the same time. Sort of like how Lobby is called the 'Noble Samurai of the Sea' and the 'Deep Sea Ninja'.

And you're exactly right about the Lee - Caulfield dynamic. Who knows, if Caulfield's contract comes up... :D

Well I certainly wouldn't have called Henry Lee as the new GM, but certainly an interesting choice with lots of possibilities. Who knows, maybe Johnny Martin will be able to get a bit more air-time now. ;)

Another good show my friend, particularly enjoyed some of the segments. The idea of DuBois jumping off of merchandising huts is genius, but personally I want to know who else was on Emma Chase's list!

Right, finally managed to find the scores! Pretty much everybody scored either a 4 or a 5 for this one, so well done for that. Also a big welcome to cmdrsam and legendkiller13 who made their first predictions this week (both getting a 4/5 as well).

The segments were definitely where the fun was to be had this week. I think with the show's position being not immediately after PPV and too far from the next one the matches were fairly predictable (as shown by the scores this week!), not that that is necesarily a bad thing. Even the #1 contender's match was always going to go to the face, given Eric being the champ. Glad you liked DuBois' acrobatics :p

SWF SUPREME TV April 2nd 2010

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/SWF%20Diary/Logos%20and%20Belts/SWF_jhd5.jpg

ERIC EISEN vs VALIANT

Valiant makes his return to Supreme TV for his first singles match after splitting from Jack Giedroyc. Like Jack Giedroyc before him, Valiant has been dropped in at the deep end - his first match will be against World Heavyweight Champion Eric Eisen! With Christian Faith on his mind, Eric Eisen will be looking to end this match as quickly as possible - as a sign of strength, and to conserve his energy - while Valiant will be hoping the PPV title match will be enough of a distraction for him to get an upset victory that will catapult him towards singles stardom.

KING OF THE SQUARED CIRCLE ROUND 1 MATCH

VENGEANCE vs JACK GIEDROYC

'The Reaper' Vengeance and Englishman Jack Giedroyc will kick off the 2011 King of the Squared Circle tournament in the opener of four first round matches. With Vengeance a former two-time King of the Squared Circle winner (2000 and 2002), Jack Giedroyc will surely have a huge task on his hands. But write the Englishman off at your peril - the former Tag Team champion defeated Vengeance in his first year in the SWF back in 2007.

KING OF THE SQUARED CIRCLE ROUND 1 MATCH

STEVE FREHLEY vs FREDERIQUE GARCIA

Neither of these men has previously won the King of the Squared Circle tournament, but be sure that they will be setting out to make 2011 their year. Steve Frehley's return at Awesome Impact has given him enormous momentum and the crowd will certainly be right behind the 'Destroyer'. Frederique Garcia has undergone a transformation this year, shedding the Fashionista image for one of a ruthless, and dangerous, submission specialist. The 'Freakin' Awesome Grappler' has been on an unbeaten streak since mid-February and will be looking to lock in the Cross Armbreaker once more to send him to the KotSC semi-finals.

KING OF THE SQUARED CIRCLE ROUND 1 MATCH

SAM KEITH vs RICH MONEY

Sam Keith and Rich Money are set to meet at The World Is Watching in a little over two weeks time, but first they meet in the King of the Squared Circle match. With a shot at the North American title on the line, and with so much animosity between the two, this match is likely to be a classic.

KING OF THE SQUARED CIRCLE ROUND 1 MATCH

LOBSTER WARRIOR vs REMO

Our main event will pit two-time KotSC winner Remo Richardson against a man who has the dubious record of featuring in two losing finals, Lobster Warrior. The 'Deep Sea Ninja' will want to stop his bad luck in this tournament with a victory over the more successful 'Alpha Dog'. Remo, meanwhile, will be looking to make this his third, and record-breaking, King of the Squared Circle - and with Miss Emily's plan behind him, surely the North American title isn't out of reach!

Plus, the sXe Open Challenge continues, Sue Danes talks to Emma Chase and Brandon James about their thoughts on this year's King of the Squared Circle tournament, Christian Faith addresses the Supreme Galaxy, and Eric Eisen, about their match at The World Is Watching, and finally the Semi-Finals of the King of the Squared Circle tournament matches will be randomly drawn from the winners of tonight's matches!

KotSC Round 1 Match: Vengeance vs Jack Giedroyc

Thanks for the prediction Woodsmeister. Probably should have pointed this out (I'll add it to the prediction card in a second) - the semi-final matches will be 'randomly' drawn from the winners of these four matches. ;)

Anggur Merah's Quick Picks

Non-Title Match: Valiant vs Eric Eisen

It's non-title, but the Champ ain't gonna lose here. Even if Val is bent on winning to prove himself as a serious singles competitor after the split, the Corporation just won't let him. Gied's success and Val's failure will be a catalyst of Gied-Val feud.

KotSC Round 1 Match: Vengeance vs Jack Giedroyc

Gied is talented, and determined to prove himself after the split. Vengeance is a big bad wall to overcome, but Gied will come out from the match victorious - whether it's clean or via DQ win.

KotSC Round 1 Match: Steve Frehley vs Frederique Garcia

Frehley is the bigger name, but Garcia is quite on the roll after the 'snap'. Nevertheless, Frehley's power will be proven too much for Garcia. However, John Greed's faction will interfere to screw Frehley. Referee distracted, Frehley got hit, Garcia gets the win.

KotSC Round 1 Match: Sam Keith vs Rich Money

Now, this is hard. Keith, or Money? But from the storyline perspective, it won't be money to put Money on NA Championship scene. He's a world title material and must remain so, and it should be remembered he already won the title before. Same goes for the Living Legend, though. But Corporation will try to secure every rank and title, so it's actually either Sam or Remo gets the NA title. I'm choosing Sam here. Unless... if you want to put forth Money vs Remo at the tournament final. That's a money match.

KotSC Round 1 Match: Lobster Warrior vs Remo

Poor Lobby. The former NA Champ is one of the toughest and resilient competitor in SWF. But his opponent is, unfortunately, Remo. Enough said.

Valiant vs Eric Eisen (Non-Title Match)

Eisen won´t lose this one even though it´s non-title.

KotSC Round 1 Match: Vengeance vs Jack Giedroyc

All these KotSC matches are little hard to predict considering that winner would get North American title shot. I doubt that Vengeance would win the whole tournement while Jack would make good challenger for Brandon and interesting storyline as well. That said I think that Vengeance is simply so much higher on the ladders that he won´t lose on the first round.

KotSC Round 1 Match: Steve Frehley vs Frederique Garcia

Frehley is bigger name though I could see Greed and friends cost him this one.

KotSC Round 1 Match: Sam Keith vs Rich Money

I don´t see either of these guys challenging for North American title as it´s below them, hence I go with double count out finish that eliminates them both from the tournament.

KotSC Round 1 Match: Lobster Warrior vs Remo

Remo should get past first round and that would mean that Lobster doesn´t

Valiant vs Eric Eisen (Non-Title Match)

As other's have said this may be non title, but Eisen isn't dropping this. Valiant's simply not over enough right now to warrant getting a win over the world champ.

KotSC Round 1 Match: Vengeance vs Jack Giedroyc

I'm tempted to go with Giedroyc here, as I think a win for him would benefit him more, but as Zergon said Vengeance is so much higher on the ladder right now, I can't see him dropping this one.

KotSC Round 1 Match: Steve Frehley vs Frederique Garcia

Similar explanation to that of the Vengeance- Giedroyc match. For me Frederique could use the boost more, but just how much are you prepared to risk a pop hit on your more established names at this stage?

KotSC Round 1 Match: Sam Keith vs Rich Money

I'm going to steal in on Zergon's theory and tip this to go to a draw, eliminaiting both men from the tournament. Neither need to be going after the North American Belt, plus....

KotSC Round 1 Match: Lobster Warrior vs Remo

Remo picks up the win here, and then gets a bye to the final

Valiant vs Eric Eisen (Non-Title Match)

Despite this being a non title match, I have very little doubt on the outcome here.

KotSC Round 1 Match: Vengeance vs Jack Giedroyc

I love the Vengeance alt and the character himself so, yeah, definitely the winner.

KotSC Round 1 Match: Steve Frehley vs Frederique Garcia

The Dark Destroyer wins this match headed on a collision course with Vengeance.

KotSC Round 1 Match: Sam Keith vs Rich Money

Sam Keith has done it all. So he just looks to destroy Rich Money and gets a little carried away, drawing in a DQ.

KotSC Round 1 Match: Lobster Warrior vs Remo

Remo wins this match to head into a battle with Steve Frehley, while Rich Money faces off with Vengeance in the next round.

This one won't be pretty.

KotSC Round 1 Match: Vengeance vs Jack Giedroyc

This one will be worse.

KotSC Round 1 Match: Steve Frehley vs Frederique Garcia

I almost picked Garcia here, but despite his recent dominance, he hasn't been that dominant.

KotSC Round 1 Match: Sam Keith vs Rich Money

Can't see Money losing this match.

KotSC Round 1 Match: Lobster Warrior vs Remo

Going with the Noble Samurai of the Sea for this match, even though it's more likely he's going to get pulverized.

Valiant vs Eric Eisen (Non-Title Match)

If Eisen ain't losing to Money, he sure ain't losing to Valiant.

KotSC Round 1 Match: Vengeance vs Jack Giedroyc

Vengeance will beat the Geordie until he thinks he is a Scouser.

KotSC Round 1 Match: Steve Frehley vs Frederique Garcia

Frehely is in a different league!

KotSC Round 1 Match: Sam Keith vs Rich Money

Tough call but because I believe it will be two faces and two heels advancing as logic would dictate, I think Money will take it to the bank.

KotSC Round 1 Match: Lobster Warrior vs Remo

I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank everyone who voted for Under Pressure in the April Rookie DOTM - it's fantastic to see how many people are enjoying reading the diary as much as I am enjoying writing it.

Photobucket are clearly having a problem at the moment, so my pictures are down - hopefully it should be fixed in a few hours in case anyone reading over the last day or so is wondering what's happening. I actually have the show formatted already, which is lucky, but fingers crossed by the time I am ready to post their site will be operational again anyway.

In theory the next show will be up sometime Thursday evening, so if anyone wants to get in some last minute predictions then you have a couple of days to do so, and of course thanks to everyone that has commented so far. :)

I can try and get caught up, then:

Valiant vs Eric Eisen (Non-Title Match) Only non-title because Valiant's not at World title level yet

KotSC Round 1 Match: Vengeance vs Jack Giedroyc Easy win for the big man

KotSC Round 1 Match: Steve Frehley vs Frederique Garcia Garcia has his uses, but the Dark Destroyer will roll over him here

KotSC Round 1 Match: Sam Keith vs Rich Money Do I smell a main event here? Can't see Money slipping up

KotSC Round 1 Match: Lobster Warrior vs Remo Bit of a toss-up, but Remo has to be the favourite

I don't think the non-titleness of the match will come into it.

KotSC Round 1 Match: Vengeance vs Jack Giedroyc

KotSC Round 1 Match: Steve Frehley vs Frederique Garcia

KotSC Round 1 Match: Sam Keith vs Rich Money

KotSC Round 1 Match: Lobster Warrior vs Remo

Hmmm, I suspect there'll be a surprise in one of these and Lobby going over Remo isn't out of the question either.

We kick off this evening’s show with a short video recapping the most memorable moments of the previous 15 King of the Squared Circle tournaments. Beginning with Mayhem Midden’s historic win in the first ever tournament of 1976, the promo also includes the victories of current SWF superstars Vengeance, Remo and our current World Champion Eric Eisen. The video ends with a series of enormous, golden numbers filling the screen to be replaced by an image of that year’s victor…

MICHAELS: That's right folks, welcome to SWF Supreme TV! We are live from Jacksonville, Florida and tonight sees the opening of the 2010 King of the Squared Circle Tournament. I'm Peter Michaels, alongside Ana Garcia and Jerry Eisen.

EISEN: Thanks Peter, I must admit it's a relief to be back behind this desk!

GARCIA: Eight men, one crown - what a tournament we have lined up and just look at the list of former winners, each of them has been a champion in their own right - I can't wait!

KING OF THE SQUARED CIRCLE 2010 TOURNAMENT ROUND 1 MATCH

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/SWF%20Diary/Card/Vengeance.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/SWF%20Diary/Card/VS.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/SWF%20Diary/Card/JackGiedroyc.jpg

VENGEANCE vs JACK GIEDROYC

We begin the show with a great in-ring display for two quite different wrestlers. The dark, brooding Vengeance may have towered over the chirpy Geordie Giedroyc but in terms of ability things were much closer. Some excellent wrestling saw both men come close to victory and as the momentum swayed back-and-forth the crowd, and our announce team, became more and more excited. As the match wore on Vengeance’s greater power, and perhaps his greater big match experience, began to give him the advantage but Giedroyc wasn’t quite finished yet. After an enormous shoulder tackle sent the big man reeling, Giedroyc lined up the Crashing On (Kneeling Jaw Breaker)…reversed! Vengeance used his enormous strength to lift Giedroyc up with one hand…and plant him on the turnbuckle! Giedroyc struggled to get away from the corner but a quick chop to the throat sent him reeling…Vengeance climbed onto the second rope…Six Feet Under (Second Rope Choke Slam)!

YOUR WINNER IN 8:05...VENGEANCE!

MICHAEL: What a start to the tounament - Vengeance is heading to the semi-finals.

EISEN: That was a solid performance from Jack Giedroyc but a tournament isn't just like any old match and I think the fact Vengeance has won the tournament twice definitely gave him the advantage.

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/SWF%20Diary/Card/NoMan.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/SWF%20Diary/Card/MissEmily_Man.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/SWF%20Diary/Card/EricEisen.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/SWF%20Diary/Card/VS.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/SWF%20Diary/Card/Valiant.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/SWF%20Diary/Card/Dawn_man.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/SWF%20Diary/Card/Hannah_man.jpg

w/Miss Emily ERIC EISEN vs VALIANT w/Dawn & Hannah

Both of these competitors stunned the Jacksonville crowd, and surely the fans at home too, by putting on one of the finest matches of 2010. Eric Eisen and Valiant combined to put on a real spectacle, and despite Valiant’s position on the Supreme Food Chain a long way from Eisen’s, the former Tag champ looked great in the early going. Outside of the ring Miss Emily was engaged in an ear-splitting argument with Dawn and Hannah which only served to distract Valiant at the most unfortunate of times. When Valiant leaned over the top rope to shoo Miss Emily back to her own corner he turned his back on his opponent for too long. Eisen hasn’t become World Champion without knowing when to take his chances and as soon as Valiant turned around Eric hit The Supremacy (Go-2-Sleep) and this fascinating match was all over all too soon.

YOUR WINNER IN 6:46...ERIC EISEN!

MICHAELS: Wow! That was a surprise...

EISEN: Eric won!?

GARCIA: He means he was surprised by Valiant's performance. Still, as much as it pains me to say it Eric continues to look like a strong champion...

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/SWF%20Diary/Card/RunawayTrain.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/SWF%20Diary/Card/JungleJack.jpg

...It's A Jungle Out There...

The action cuts backstage for the first time this evening and we head straight to the most travelled area of an SWF arena – the food hall! Stood in front of the large buffet table are a couple of young women, kitted out in SWF Crew gear, discussing the mysterious disappearance of the fruit. Indeed, the large crystal bowl that has previously held the mound of untouched fruit in previous week's segments is completely empty. The fruit’s location is soon revealed when one of the women spots a banana peeling on the floor. Sure enough, as they cross the hall more banana skins draw a line across the room and around the corner. As they finally reach the end of the corridor the sound of a scuffle becomes clear and the ever-eager cameraman jumps around the corner to find Runaway Train and Jungle Lord in the middle of what can only be described as a fruit fight. Both Train's beard and Lord's wild hair are full of bits of fruit and Train appears to be ramming a banana into Lord's temple! Things are looking bad for the ‘Wild Man’ and he scrambles behind him desperate for a weapon of his own – he finds one! The enormous crack as Jungle Lord brought the coconut down on Runaway Train’s head echoed around the small Florida arena, and gave Lord just enough time to barge past the cameraman, and the now stunned young women, to freedom.

GARCIA: Did we just have a food fight...on Supreme TV!?

EISEN: Looks like fun!

KING OF THE SQUARED CIRCLE 2010 TOURNAMENT ROUND 1 MATCH

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/SWF%20Diary/Card/SteveFrehley.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/SWF%20Diary/Card/VS.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/SWF%20Diary/Card/FrederiqueGarcia.jpg

STEVE FREHLEY vs FREDERIQUE GARCIA

Our second match in the King of the Squared Circle tournament pitted two very different wrestlers against each other for the first time ever. Frehley may have looked a little shaken after the beatdown he received on last week’s show but he still dominated throughout much of the match, with Garcia’s main tactic being to try and lock in the Cross Armbreaker as soon as possible. Frehley, however, was too experienced to fall into the trap and after only seven minutes hit a Frehley's Comet (Tornado Face Slam) for the win and a place in the semi-finals.

YOUR WINNER IN 7:12...STEVE FREHLEY!

GARCIA: Steve Frehley becomes our second semi-finalist, with a fine victory over Frederique Garcia. I was impressed by Steve's performance, Peter...

MICHAELS: Freddy Garcia has had a solid few months but I'm afraid Steve Frehley's still a class apart for the time being.

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/SWF%20Diary/Card/RobbieRetro.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/SWF%20Diary/Card/MaratKhoklov.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/SWF%20Diary/Card/EricEisen.jpg

...For Mother Russia...

The action cuts backstage where another brawl is taking place. This one, however, is a lot more one-sided as we see Marat Khoklov completely destroying Robbie Retro. The ‘Disco Stud’ looks battered and bruised at the beginning of the segment, and things only get worse as Khoklov uses everything to hand to beat him with. To one side Eric Eisen looks on, amused by the ferocity of his charge and Khoklov is certainly not holding anything back. In the end Retro can barely move and with Khoklov standing over the red-suited superstar Eric Eisen moves forward, revealing a large square of cloth behind his back. As he passes it over to Marat it’s identity is revealed – the Russian flag! Khoklov drapes the white, blue and red over the broken body of Retro and as Eric slaps the ‘Soviet Science Experiment’ on the back we head back to ringside.

KING OF THE SQUARED CIRCLE 2010 TOURNAMENT ROUND 1 MATCH

RICH MONEY vs SAM KEITH

Our third KotSC tournament match was billed as a preview for things to come at The World Is Watching, and that billing had the crowd electric in the build-up to the match. The cacophony of boos from the Jacksonville audience was deafening as soon as Sam Keith’s music hit the PA, but after almost a minute no one had come through the Empire Gateway. The booing died down as confusion set in but they were soon replaced by cheers as both competitors tumbled through the stage entrance in the middle of a clumsy brawl. As the two fought their way to the ring neither looked particularly in control, rather flailing limbs and heads crashing against the barrier was the order of the day. When the pair finally made it into the ring the referee signalled for the bell, but for Money and Keith nothing had changed. The fist fight continued and sure enough they were soon back on the outside. A clothesline from Money sent Keith into the crowd…and Money started following him! But Keith hit him back, sending Money back over the barrier onto the mats outside the ring. The referee, meanwhile, had lost complete control – the two wrestlers had spent perhaps a minute and a half in the ring, and he was left with no choice but to count them both out. The Supreme Galaxy didn’t care and they continued to cheer on Money as he reached for a chair. ‘Hard Cash’ brought the chair around for a savage blow to the ‘Living Legend’s’ back but he wouldn’t have chance to strike again – the fun police had arrived! Once again Money and Keith had to be separate by a crowd of security officials as the ring announcer revealed that both men had been eliminated from the contest.

NO CONTEST AFTER 3:10!

GARCIA: What on earth happened there!?

EISEN: Did that match even begin!?

MICHAELS :I can confirm that BOTH MEN have been eliminated from the tournament! Someone will be getting a bye through to the King of the Squared Circle final!

...The Pain Of Greed...

With Rich Money and Sam Keith still being pulled apart by a wave of security guards our camera swings up towards the Empire Gateway, the usual signal that the show is heading behind the scenes. Sure enough we are taken to the brightly lit interview area where our petite journalist Sue Danes stands alongside John Greed and his huge bodyguard Atlas. Having already had the onerous task of interviewing John Greed on her debut show in February, Sue Danes is visibly cautious, making sure to stand as far away from Atlas as possible.

Sue Danes: Mr. Greed, I believe you wanted to address the Supreme Galaxy?”

John Greed:Ms. Danes - last week Steve Frehley learnt what it means to feel pain. Steve Frehley learnt that John Greed’s mind is as sharp as anyone in this company. Look one way, attacked from the other. You see Steve Frehley, at the end of the road John Greed’s Supreme Wrestling Federation record isn’t going to be about wins and losses, oh no, it’s going to be about landmarks and about titles. No one will remember that in April 2010 John Greed lost a match to Steve Frehley, but you will remember that messing with The Brotherhood has dire, dire consequences. Ms. Danes, can you think of anyone else that may have upset the Brotherhood?”

Danes: Er, no Mr. Greed?”

Greed: You talk, but you don't see. Joe Sexy may have won his match with Vengeance at Awesome Impact 2010, but he won thanks to the interference of another. Sure, Sexy took his chance well but the Brotherhood don’t give out chances twice. That’s why I’m challenging Joe Sexy to a match in two weeks at The World Is Watching, and that’s why he’ll be accepting – Atlas, Vengeance and Greed won’t be taking no for an answer.”

Once again Atlas leans in towards the camera, emitting an eerie growl while John Greed stands calmly behind him. The mastermind of the Brotherhood continues to stare straight through the camera, through the TV and into the viewer’s mind as the image fades and we appear back at ringside.

EISEN: Greed vs Sexy - that'll be an interesting contrast!

GARCIA: Joe Sexy's going to have to keep one eye on Greed and another on Atlas if he's going to make it through The World Is Watching in one piece, that's for sure!

w/Miss Emily ENFORCER ROBERTS vs GREGORY BLACK

This match confirmed that Gregory Black is one to watch as he almost outfought the veteran Enforcer Roberts. Roberts spent most of the match attempting to keep Black on the mat, using takedowns and headlocks to negate the speed and agility advantage the ‘Aerial Ambassador’ held. But Roberts could only keep him down for so long and whenever Black broke free he looked a serious threat to The Corporation’s technical wizard. In the end, however, it would be neither Roberts nor Black that decided the match and, for once, it had nothing to do with Miss Emily. Instead it was Shooting Star champion Marc DuBois who would cost Black the victory, appearing from the crowd and running up the turnbuckle. If he attacked then Black would almost certainly be victorious but ‘The Prodigy’ didn’t need to get physical. His mere presence, sat upon the turnbuckle, was enough to distract Black long enough for Roberts to hit the R.C.T. for the win.

YOUR WINNER IN 6:39...ENFORCER ROBERTS!

MICHAELS: 'The Prodigy' Marc DuBois once again sticking his nose where it isn't wanted...

GARCIA: Too right, but I don't think that Gregory Black will be too downbeat - in fact it might just spur him on even more!

...The False Crown...

Our next segment begins in a spacious, brightly lit room lined with enormous glass cases. In the centre of the scene, dressed immaculately in the finest suits money can buy, are Emma Chase and Brandon James. The North American title glints over the shoulder of Emma Chase, once again giving the impression that she views the title as her own, rather than James’. While our initial impression is, understandably, that our two superstars are somewhere in our Jacksonville arena, Emma Chase soon makes clear that this isn’t the case…

Emma Chase: This, people of the Galaxy, is the Supreme Wrestling Federation Hall of Fame building. That’s right the soon-to-be-completed building housing the finest wrestling memorabilia ever, right here in New York City. Why, I hear you ask, is Emma Chase in the SWF Hall of Fame? The answer is clear – because you people need things explained with pictures. This cabinet at the far end of the corridor holds the original North American title belt. Some of the finest wrestlers in the United States have won this championship, but none have been as dominant as my client Brandon James. This cabinet holds the 1984 King of the Squared Circle Crown, the very crown worn by 'The Monster' Dread. Now don’t get me wrong, some of the winners of the King of the Squared Circle tournament were exceptional superstars but think of the people who never entered the tournament…Micky Starr, Rory McCallum…Brandon James. Whoever wins the 2010 King of the Squared Circle deserves a pat on the back, sure, but that’s all they will be getting because you can believe me when I say – Brandon James is the biggest cat in the yard, and the SWF’s Big Money Brand isn’t losing my North American title to ANYONE.”

Chase flicks a perfectly manicured hand at the camera before nodding to James who charges at the 1984 KotSC Crown cabinet, knocking it to the ground. As the room is flooded with red light and a deafening siren, James picks up the small golden crown…and snaps it in half! With Emma Chase looking on confidently one thing is certain – the winner of this year’s tournament is going to have a tough time against the team of Brandon James and Emma Chase!

EISEN: That cost my father $100,000!!

GARCIA: That woman...

EISEN: No...the crown...

sXe WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE OPEN CHALLENGE

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/SWF%20Diary/Card/AngryGilmore.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/SWF%20Diary/Card/SqueekyMcClean.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/SWF%20Diary/Card/VS.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/SWF%20Diary/Card/Luke.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/SWF%20Diary/Card/Butch.jpg

sXe vs THE GOOD OL' BOYS

The second set of challengers in the sXe World Tag Team Title challenge are unknown to the large majority of the Supreme Galaxy. Luke Langton and Butch Fitzpaine are two wild brawlers from Nebraska who wrestle a very similar style to DaVE alumni The McWade Brothers. Unlike the McWades, Butch and Luke are far more comical, and as they bumbled their way to the ring the SWF crowd immediately took a liking to the goofy Mid-West ‘cousins.’ In the ring the pair are no slouches either, and as an unknown quantity they certainly worried the World Tag Team champions Gilmore and McClean at the beginning of the match. sXe, however, were more than prepared for any team they could encounter and once again a combination of distractions and a low blow to Butch saw the Champions steal the win.

YOUR WINNER IN 7:33...sXe!

...Florida Accepts Your Challenge...

With the second contest in sXe’s Title challenge complete the victorious pair haul their title belts over their shoulders and begin to head to the back. As they reach the bottom of the aisle, however, they are abruptly stopped by the lively entrance theme of Florida-born brothers The Amazing Bumfholes! Randy and Zimmy are dressed in the latest fashion trends - a signal to the crowd that they are not here to fight – but they do make their purpose clear to Angry Gilmore and Squeeky McClean – they want the next shot! Gilmore and McClean spin around, doing a great job of showing their unease at the challenge but reluctantly they nod, sending the Jacksonville audience wild in support of their home state boys!

GARCIA: sXe vs The Amazing Bumfholes - what a match that is going to be!

MICHAELS: It certainly is, I can't wait for that one! The Good Ol' Boys have certainly made an impression on the Supreme Galaxy here tonight!

EISEN: I hired them, you know. I liked their beards.

...Keep Your Faith...

We are just moments away from our main event but we have just enough time to head to the interview set once again where Sue Danes’ guest for the segment is Christian Faith. Interviewing the cheerful legend clearly a much easier task than the brooding Brotherhood and both Faith and Danes are sharing a laugh as we cut to the scene.

Sue Danes: Christian, we are just nine days away from your shot at the World Heavyweight title - it’s been a while since you held the belt, how are you preparing for the match?”

Christian Faith: To be honest Sue, I am training for this match the same way I would have any other. Eric Eisen may be the World Heavyweight Champion, but he’s scraped through one too many title defences. Don’t misunderstand me – the way he won the title was very clever – but cats have only got nine lives, and Eric Eisen’s running out.”

Danes: With the hopes of the Supreme Galaxy resting on your shoulders, would you like to say anything to them, or to Eric Eisen?”

Faith: Eric Eisen – I’ve been watching you real close, boy – I know your tricks, I know your ploys. I’m going to beat you for the World Heavyweight title, whether that’s tomorrow, at The World Is Watching or Christmas 2025. You’re a champion on borrowed time, and I think someone needs to remind you of that - I offer my services. A message for the Supreme Galaxy? I can think of only one thing…at The World Is Watching I know you’re going to be right there with me – all we need is to Have Faith!”

KING OF THE SQUARED CIRCLE 2010 TOURNAMENT ROUND 1 MATCH

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/SWF%20Diary/Card/MissEmily_Man.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/SWF%20Diary/Card/Remo.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/SWF%20Diary/Card/VS.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/SWF%20Diary/Card/LobsterWarrior.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/SWF%20Diary/Card/NoMan.jpg

w/Miss Emily REMO vs LOBSTER WARRIOR

Our main event pits two men who have both wrestled in two King of the Squared Circle finals. The difference between the two is that Remo has won both of his finals, while Lobster Warrior has lost both of his, including one defeat to Remo himself. The chance to become a three-time King, plus the chance to get a shot at the North American title, was a huge incentive for the 'Alpha Dog' and it showed. From the first ring of the bell Remo lived up to his reputation as a savage brawler, his stiff punches and ‘snapped’ suplexes causing enormous damage to his crustacean opponent. Lobster Warrior did well to keep fighting after the early onslaught and after surviving a 2 and a half count in the opening six minutes Warrior did his best to claw his way back into contention. Miss Emily’s words of encouragement for Remo seemed to be largely ignored but there was no doubting that Remo’s performance in this match was more focused, and more dangerous, than in previous weeks. In the end it appeared that any plans Miss Emily had to become physically involved in the match were unnecessary and after Lobster Warrior became increasingly ground down – his smooth takedowns and elegant submission moves barely making Remo flinch – he succumbed to a superbly executed Destroyer (S.T.O.) and this match was all over.

YOUR WINNER IN 13:03...REMO!

With the final match of the first round in the 2010 King of the Squared Circle Tournament complete all eyes turn towards the Empire Gateway and it’s enormous JumboTron. The screen is filled with the image a royal red sheet and in front of it appears four golden boxes, complete with the SWF.COM bio pictures of Remo, Steve Frehley and Vengeance. The fourth box is empty of a face, and is instead replaced with the silver words BYE. The four squares begin to rearrange themselves, slowly at first but then quicker until the four images become an eerie mix of the three men’s faces with a shimmering BYE watermark. Eventually the four boxes disappear, but only momentarily as two return to fill the screen…

BYE

…vs…

The three men’s faces continue to shuffle in the remaining box…

REMO! Remo goes straight into the final at The World Is Watching!

Although the remaining match is now certain, the two boxes empty and shuffle between the remaining images of Vengeance and Steve Frehley to reveal our second semi-final, scheduled to take place on next week's show…

VENGEANCE vs STEVE FREHLEY!

MICHAELS: I can't believe it - what a semi-final we have in store but with Remo getting the bye to the final, you'd have to think that he's in pole position to win a record three crowns...

GARCIA: I wouldn't count Frehley and Vengeance out just yet - they've got a lot of history and getting through that match might just give them the momentum to capture the title.

EISEN: Don't forget that match will be next week, with the final being held at The World Is Watching in just over a weeks time! I can't wait!
