<p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><em>Coming back early next week...</em></strong></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Vacation/scoping out the move has been absolutely amazing; exactly what I needed. With that said, I've found some time to step away for a bit in which to check up on some things & keep in the loop on this level as well. All in all, you can expect the PPV Card for "Red, White, Black, and Blue" to be up sometime on Monday Late Afternoon (as we get back in late Sunday night). That post will signify that the dynasty is back, full-force, to being active. Depending on whatever may arise, though, the card could get pushed back; however, everything seems in-line for a monday posting!</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

To anyone who would like to catch up, following the diary in real-time, then now is your chance! I know there are </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><em>MANY</em></strong></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> great dynasty's going right now, all equally as worthy to gain your attention, and that gaining strong viewership is certainly contested these days. In the end, the "Great American Spectacle" is steamrolling ahead come the beginning of this next week; hope to have you on board...</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Cheers.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Just my own take). The beauty with DOA is that I could make it 100 percent mine; known as you are as THE man for such a company. When adding the USPW Television Championship, especially HOW said title was won, it’s easy to see why many are flocking to topple the hated “Alluring ELITE” member. This Saturday, two men, both entangled in Devine’s pathway, will come together to do battle; all for the hope of challenging “Mighty Fine” for the TV Championship at a later date. While that could be chaotic enough, add Devine as a special guest referee, a scenario known as a “pick your poison” in the USPW-Empire, and you’re left with a situation that SHOULD open “Red, White, Black, and Blue” in a controversial fashion; ie: the only way Devine knows how…</span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><strong>“Queen of Combat” Cherry Bomb © vs. “The Blue Collar Beauty” Alicia Strong</strong></span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><em>[uSPW Women’s Championship Match]</em></span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><em> [Women’s Division circling the ringside area]</em></span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> After the “Blue Collar Beauty” won in resilient fashion last week, becoming the NEW #1 contender to the Women’s Championship, the combustible “Queen of Combat” found herself destined to clash with someone many believe to be an equal; a fact that’s easily challenged given Cherry Bomb’s dominating streak as the Women’s Champion recently. While their altercation would be newsworthy alone, as both are, arguably, the two GREATEST female competitors in the world, the addition of the ENTIRE Women’s Division at ringside makes things far more grandiose. Fireworks will certainly fly as two greats compete for the gold; meanwhile, the rest reside in a state of hungered anticipation directly outside of the unforgiving ropes.</span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><strong>“The Greatest of All-Time” Peter Valentine © vs. “The Hardcore American” Chris Caulfield</strong></span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><em>[uSPW National Championship Match]</em></span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><em> [Caulfield wins = NEW National Champion]</em></span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><em> [Valentine wins = Peter gets 3-minutes, uninterrupted, with Danny Jillefski; post-match]</em></span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> Known for his legendary resilience, able to withstand intense scenarios while still returning to fight, many wonder if the stipulations set for this Saturday will be TOO MUCH for, even, Chris Caulfield. Truthfully, while Dayton & Justice may carry a lofty sense of ‘star-power’ to their pairing, one has to wonder if they can overcome the overwhelming power of the devious Sneer Corporation; especially when said Sneer employees are both a known for their vicious, unapologetic, physical style. Can the USPW Loyalists in question fend off their menacing counterparts – OR – Will Shane Sneer obtain a, potentially, ‘tide-shifting’ victory over Strong’s men?</span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><strong>“The Traditionalist” Eric Tyler vs. Nicky Champion</strong></span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> Nicky Champion has always been perceived as the “Chosen One”; the man who would, eventually, lead the USPW-Empire to a highly anticipated “Golden Era”! For years, the young warrior has been the paragon of honor; the great Pride of all USPW fans. Recently, though, Champion’s lofty stature has been methodically tested by one man; that being the scowling “Traditionalist”, Eric Tyler. Doing his very best to point out such flaws, Tyler has waged a psychological war directed solely upon the beloved protégé of USPW owner, Sam Strong. In the end, can Tyler continue his feverish campaign; proving Champion to be NOT ready for the limelight (if at all)? – OR – Will the young Nicky Champion utilize “Red, White, Black, and Blue” as the triumphant moment where he finally overcomes his weathered foe? Either way, it’s bound to be an emotionally-laced scenario…</span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><strong>“The Darkened Hero” Enygma © vs. Bruce the Giant vs. “The Demon” Tyson Baine </strong></span></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><strong><span style="font-size:8px;">w/ Shane Sneer</span></strong></span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><em>[uSPW World Championship Match]</em></span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> After originally left-out, forced into such a scenario by the manipulative hands of Tyson Baine, “The Darkened Hero” will return to the USPW-Empire this Saturday in which to defend the company’s top prize; the USPW World Championship. Unseen by the masses since earlier in the month, cast to the depths of mystery through a Gigantic Chokeslam from Bruce the Giant, Enygma now must war with the two menacing figures he’s become so intertwined with as of late; defeating Baine in January at “Frigid Fight Night” and recently thrown to ‘hell’ by Bruce the Giant. Can the mythological Enygma successfully defend his crown against two of the most dominating figures in USPW history? – OR – Will we have a NEW USPW World Champion at the end of the night? Given the recent, chaotic, culture, we know of one man feverishly wishing for a title change at “Red, White, Black, and Blue”; hoping the gold ends up around HIS employees waste… </span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div></div><p></p></div></blockquote><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1111.photobucket.com/albums/h461/EV_USPW/AmericanWrestling/Legends.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><hr color="black"></div></div></div><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="30493" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-size:8px;"><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">"Red, White, Black, and Blue" - LIVE on Pay-per-view!!</span></strong></span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-size:8px;"> Andre Jones vs. Brutus O'Leary</span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-size:8px;"> Cherry Bomb © vs. Alicia Strong</span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-size:8px;"> Peter Valentine © vs. Chris Caulfield</span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-size:8px;"> James Justice & James Dayton vs. Jumbo Jackson & T-Rex</span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-size:8px;"> Eric Tyler vs. Nicky Champion</span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-size:8px;"> Enygma © vs. Bruce the Giant vs. Tyson Baine</span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-size:8px;"> </span></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-size:8px;"><strong>Question:</strong></span></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-size:8px;"> What will the Sneer Corporation's final win total be after the night is over? Andre Jones vs. Brutus O'Leary

I go with double DQ here after Devine and Ox attacks both of these guys.

Cherry Bomb © vs. Alicia Strong

Bomb holds the title here as with other womens on the ring side there is too much disturbance for Alicia.

Peter Valentine © vs. Chris Caulfield

Not sure where this one is going considering the stipulations but Valentine has creative control so I go with him.

James Justice & James Dayton vs. Jumbo Jackson & T-Rex

This one is interesting and it could go either way. I just don´t have much faith on Dayton right now and both Jumbo and T-Rex could use the win here.

Eric Tyler vs. Nicky Champion

Nicky gets a DQ/count out win but isn´t happy

Enygma © vs. Bruce the Giant vs. Tyson Baine

I go agains majority here and pick Baine to win and become the new champion simply because I feel there are better face challengers for the title while I don´t really see much on the heel side.

Peter Valentine © vs. <strong>Chris Caulfield</strong></p><p>

With Valentine retiring, this could be your big moment...( I might regret this pick.)</p><p> </p><p>

James Justice & James Dayton vs. <strong>Jumbo Jackson & T-Rex</strong></p><p>

Another one that could go either way...but I think Sneer needs this one.</p><p> </p><p>

Taking a moment to define United States Pro Wrestling...
Setting the tone moving forward; blatantly

While I construct the initial moments of “Red, White, Black, and Blue” (Just brushing the surface of writing for the show all together), I wanted to write a brief explanation post. What am I explaining? Well, as a public relations graduate, I find myself caring just as much about the brand that I create in this dynasty’s as the booking process itself. I think, in the end, that’s why I tend to put so much depth into everything I try to construct (as I’m really trying to create an experience more than just a word-document diary). With this in mind, I just wanted to give a quick, marketing-based, post in which to give my readers, and future potential readers, the chance to understand where I’m coming from with the USPW brand.

Family Friendly

While the name itself brings about thoughts of safety, and really, boringness, I’ve come to look at the product-styling much different than when I started. While the WWE does it in their own way, creating a PG-product around kids, my depiction of the USPW is more brutish in nature. In the end, you can have hard-nosed, brutish, rough-necked, action, and storylines, without going ‘above and beyond’ with things deemed as anti-family friendly.

Violence is present, as Pro Wrestling is simulating fighting; however, it’s not excessive (plus, weapon usage is often, in my diary, dealt with disciplinary action; when not called for.. ie. No DQ match). This also takes place when it comes to blood. While you probably will NEVER see a blood-bath on a USPW program, it doesn’t mean that thought-out, story-driven, small amounts of blood can’t be present. Again, I’m not saying gushers by any means, but the ability to have small traces of it in small doses. In my mind, that makes it more ‘family friendly’ as you’re purposely trying to keep out the extremes (while also knowing that they COULD come very infrequently).

When it comes to language, all four-letter words are not possible to be used; however, some of the less than wording is quite possible when done in connection with action (Damn, Hell, etc). While it’s not used ALL the time, as that would be more difficult for parents to swallow, it is used when the story calls for it. Again, tempering everything to center more around the story than just throwing some edgy content out there for the sake of being edgy.

I’ve also come to look at PPV wrestling a little different than TV-based booking. While I don’t plan on having major amounts of blood, weapons, or flirtatious actions, done simply for the sake of it being on PPV, I believe that the avenue does present more room to be harder with the action.

Again, I think it all comes down to limiting the extremes of the nature of Pro Wrestling. Not making it baseless, ADD-infused, and lacking any sense of thoughtfulness going forward.

The overarching Environment of USPW

While some have played the company around a more comedic role, I’ve decided to make my depiction of the USPW be more about: blue collar, hard-nosed, rough-necked, rugged, American Action.

In a sense, think of USPW as a man’s man Action-flick. Rugged men, big characters, and a constant struggle of good vs. evil; delivered through the lens of a tough-minded, rough-focused, All-American, “Pick yourself up by your boot straps”, kind of mentality.

The Music of USPW

As you may have noticed, I’ve chosen music for specific wrestlers based upon a number of factors (ie: gimmick, look, decade they come from, etc.). People like Justice, Chris Caulfield, and Captain USA, come from a different generation; so their music follows suit. In turn, people like Enygma, and Tyson Baine, are my more ‘cult-like’ figures; so, they have darker, more grandiose, themes. In time, the younger workers who ‘move up’ will be given theme songs that better depict that they come from a more modern-perspective. This way, it brings to light the obvious clash of ‘old vs. new’ that the USPW has waiting in the wings from the start of the game.

As you’ll read down below as well, I tend to look into specific styles of music in which to tell the story of each character. The most prevalently used music in my head while writing? AC/DC. While classic rock is a good undertone for USPW’s style of action/entertainment, AC/DC’s Rock Anthems really do speak to the heart of USPW culture. The words; possibly not. However, the vibe that it creates… 100%.

Influences

While I typically wouldn’t do this, I thought it would be best to further the image of what to expect, mentally, when reading each show. These are some loose influences that often influence how I perceive/book/write USPW:

• WWE; early 90’s

• WCW; early nWo era

• NWA; Tradition aspect

• Smallville & Supernatural; Tyson Baine & Enygma

• The Rocky series

• AC/DC; their whole catalog makes me think of the USPW

• Comic Book Narratives

In Closing...

I wanted to relay this post in which to, potentially, pull those readers who may be thinking that the USPW's product doesn't relate well to what they care about. I know that I undersold what the USPW was all about before jumping on board; however, now, realize the beauty that comes with such a company based upon the traditional aspect of Pro Wrestling/larger-than-life characters.

We often rush to the extremes, the brash, the rebellious, products that make Pro Wrestling 'edgy', myself included; however, it's company's like USPW which tell the TRUE story of the craft; relying on history, tradition, and respect to the sport, which brings a level of respectability to the trade.

In closing, think of USPW as a hodge-podge of NWA & early WCW. To me, it feels much like a pathway where grandiose entertainment (Characters, storylines, etc.) meets honorable respect for the Tradition of Pro Wrestling. In the end, I feel that, ultimately, sets USPW apart from companies like TCW & SWF. (SWF = Risky, edgy, sports entertainment and flashy... TCW = Tradition based but lacking grandiose characters).

In Valentine’s case, He has to do VERY LITTLE to stay on top, to keep himself in the know, because Sam Strong keeps him floating atop the company. Their friendship has made it impossible to ever book him lightly, push him aside, or force him down a road he doesn’t want to. More Erik Vincent insight is awesome, loving all the little bits we are getting on him Make this more than a show based diary and the backstage stories and even how you've made Peter Valentine's influence spew out on screen and his influences are a great way of doing USPW as usually they are just forgotten about so I'm glad you've actually gone out of your way to make yourself that challenge even though you didn't need to. Jay Chord is a douche-bag but so was Shawn Michaels in the 90's. To realistically tell the story of the WWF in the 90's would be nonfactual if you were to leave out Shawn's tireless ability to raise hell with everyone backstage. In turn, how can you properly tell the story of MAW without Jay Chord being someone you want to knock-silly on a daily basis? ha. </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> That's why Peter Valentine has gained that backstage focus in my dynasty. We ALL know of Valentine's manipulative ways, that's no secret; so, why leave something like that out? By giving him 'creative control', I only heightened the truth about how USPW functions; if you're in with Strong you're good to do whatever you want. This is what I've derived from Sam Strong's personality traits as it labels him as 'naive'. In this case, he's naive in thinking that people like Valentine are pushing their weight around because they WANT to help the company (when in reality, they're just that their over-inflated ego's make it impossible for them to NOT be relevant; both in and out of the ring)!</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Thanks for the 'nod', Emark! As always, it's become just as much fun to tell the REAL story of USPW (backstage) as what we see in the ring!</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Cheers.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong><em>E-V </em></strong></div><p></p>

<p>I made it 3 months under the umbrella of USPW; longer than I had first thought possible. Sadly, though, I feel that my excitement for the product has started to wane intensely as of late. The thing is, I jumped at USPW for a single reason; to get out of my comfort zone. I think, in the end, it helped me to do so; however, with time, I began to grow more frustrated with the 'kid gloves' kind of booking. </p><p> </p><p>

I like edge, I like in-your-face action, and I LOVE creating absolute chaos from start to finish... I guess, I'm more of a TNA-fan (when it comes to production, vibe, and more adult-based) than a WWE fan. </p><p> </p><p>

So what does this mean for me? Some time off; firstly. I'm not sure HOW LONG that time off will be but I believe it's needed. Funny enough, as I walk away from USPW, I actually leave not burnt out but truly inspired... Truly excited as, when the time feels right, I'm about to develop a project that has been in the works for close to a year & a half right now. This idea was in my mind even before DOA came to existence; so, as you can expect, I've been wanting to do it for quite some time.</p><p> </p><p>

I think booking USPW's way ultimately reinvigorating my love for a more extreme product; something that feels more Attitude-esque than colorful, easy-going, All-American action. In reality, I knew this was going to happen, as I constantly found myself saying "Ohhh, I wish I could do this but can't since it's USPW". </p><p> </p><p>

To be honest, I leave USPW with no regrets really. I was able to put together 3 months worth of writing, almost 10 shows, and was able to dive into some things that I wanted to do. Actually, it's my 3rd longest running diary behind PSW & DOA (first season). Truthfully, I never thought that would be the case.</p><p> </p><p>

All in all, I'll be sticking around to read others works, commenting along the way, but may take some time to really make sure that, when the time comes, my next vision is sound from top-to-bottom; backstory, characters, vibe, and everything.</p><p> </p><p>

All I can say is... It's DEFINITELY going to be FAR different from USPW... </p><p> </p><p>

<strong><em>Las Vegas will NEVER be the same</em></strong>.... </p><p> </p><p>

Cheers.</p><p> </p><p>
