Every Finnish person in the forums please give Finland your applouds! Same goes to the people around the world! THis is great (and a total rape of the ! thing...)!!! (The others, incidentally, are all song titles ) Congratulations, although to be fair, Finland being good at ice hockey is about as surprising as the Cornish being good at eating pasties. Its a bit different, though. Because of when the tournament takes place, many NHL players are unavailable. Many due to their teams still being in the playoffs, and many others seem to turn down the invitation. I know that rejected invitations affects the rosters of the US and Canadian teams, and I imagine it would for other bigger nations with many NHL players as well. You also do get some players who join up after their team is knocked out of the playoffs (Marion Hossa, James Van Riemsdyk, etc). So yes, it is full professional players and quite a few NHLers, but its not really "cream of the crop" either. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If only 3 countries play it, is that such an achievement?
