Cool show, particularly the ME, so originally booked and very intriguing for the next episode.

Glad you enjoyed the cliffhanger ending there at the main event. It's one of those hooks that hopefully makes sure people watch/read the next USPW American Wrestling. Kind of like what Eric Bischoff said in his book about why they could do matches that would be pay-per-view main events on free tv. It's all about the story, rather than the matches themselves.

USPW Television Title Match: Andre Jones defends vs. the debut of Mainstream Hernandez

Comment: Yeah...no. Jones doesn't lose to a debut, even as good as Mainstream.

Belle Bryden vs. Joanne Rodriguez

Comment: HOTHOTHOTHOTHOTHOTHOTHOTHOTHOTHOT

Although, if Joanne wins, we see "The Dream Team" in the ring against each other. Which, if this was real family-friendly wrestling, we'd learn of the truths that all hot chicks are secretly lesbians. Alas, someone doesn't know what family-friendly means.

Giant Redwood vs. Chris Caulfield

Comment: You still have Redwood on the roster?

Great to see that my favorite diary-writer is still at it after an almost six month hiatus from the TEW Community! Keep up the good work, man.

USPW Television Title Match: Andre Jones defends vs.the debut of Mainstream Hernandez

Comment:Mainstream is by far the better all-around worker, but I don't see him winning the title on his debut - he'll have his push soon enough though, I'm sure.

Belle Bryden vs. Joanne Rodriguez

Comment: Tough call here, but I have a feeling J-Ro will be going over.

Giant Redwood vs. Chris Caulfield

Comment: Depressingly, I know that Redwood is just a JTTS. He should be in the World Title hunt because he is the greatest wrestler in the whole C-Verse, but alas, he is a prick.

USPW AMERICAN WRESTLING!

Wednesday Week 1 February 2010

Location: Huntsville Fairgrounds (South East)

Attendance: 5,000

Overall Rating: C+

TV Rating: 1.49

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/USPW_StarsStripes.jpg

[Our show begins with a video recap of USPW Stars, Stripes And Slams. It's the first ever pay-per-view extravaganza for USPW! Some of the results included Chris Caulfield winning the #1 contendership, The Towers of Power winning the USPW World Tag Team titles and a controversial ending to the steel cage match between Enygma and Tyson Baine! Who is the USPW World Champion? Tune in tonight and find out!]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/USPW.jpg

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/SamStrong.jpg

[We head into the Huntsville Fairgrounds where Steve Smith and Micky Starr welcome everyone to USPW American Wrestling! A 'USA' chant has broken out through the crowd and standing inside the ring is none other than the USPW Owner Sam Strong! Strong spoke to the USPW fans and thanked them for tuning in to USPW American Wrestling, brothers! For those of you who missed Stars, Stripes And Slams, we have a controversy surrounding the USPW World title scene. He invites both Enygma and Tyson Baine to come down to the ring. As the camera pans around the crowd, a couple of signs are shown: 'Rolling in the DeeeeeeEEEEeeeep!' and 'We want the other Strong!' in particular show up.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/Enygma_alt1jt.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/TysonBaine_alt4.jpg

[Tyson Baine comes down through the entrance ramp, while Enygma rappels down from the rafters and lands in the ring, coming face to face with his opponent from last Saturday night. Strong steps between the two men and tells them that if they come into contact with one another that that person who initiates will be fired from USPW. Baine and Enygma stare each other down. Strong explains that because of the controversy from last Saturday night, there is no USPW World Champion. Instead, the championship will be decided in a rematch tonight in this very ring! The crowd is defintiely pleased with getting a USPW World title match! The two men continue to stare each other down as the segment comes to a close with a sign reading: 'Where's your daughter?']

Match #1

USPW Television Title Match

Andre Jones defends vs. the debut of Mainstream Hernandez

[Our opening contest was a short one but at the same time the fans didn't warm up to the match at all. This was the debut match of Mainstream Hernandez and he tried to entertain the fans with his fast-paced style but they just didn't get into it. Hernandez and Jones showed very little chemistry inside the ring so their timing was off for the most part. During the match, a sign was held up in the air reading: 'Where is Mrs. Jones?' At the end of the match, Jones headed to the top turnbuckle and leaped off with the Blast From The Past! Jones makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3! A successful title defense but a less successful debut.]

Winner: Andre Jones (Via Pinfall @ 5:55; Andre Jones retains the USPW Television title)

Match Rating: D+

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/USPW.jpg

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/NickyChampion_jhd2-1.jpg

[As Andre Jones celebrates with the USPW Television title belt, we head backstage to find Nicky Champion walking down a hallway. Champion has a bit of a hang-dog look on his face. Perhaps he saw video from Stars, Stripes And Slams where Alicia Strong tossed his flowers into the garbage. Champion stops in front of a door and opens the door. As he does so, he gets assaulted from someone on the other side of the door.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/giantredwood.jpg

[Giant Redwood slams Champion into the wall on the other side of the door and then picks him up and body slams him on the ground! The crowd boos in the background as Redwood steps onto the chest of Champion! Champion cries out in pain! Redwood steps over him and to the other side. He picks up a nearby folding chair, folding it up and then slamming it over the chest and ribs of Champion! Champion holds his ribs, squirming in pain. Redwood stands over Champion and as the camera pans back another figure can be seen in the background.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/DannyJillefski_alt2.jpg

[Former USPW Owner Danny Jillefski is standing in the background with a smile over his lips. His arms are crossed over his chest and he just stares at the scene going on.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/USPW.jpg

Match #2

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/BelleBryden_jsilver.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/JoanneRodriguez_JSilver.jpg

Belle Bryden vs. Joanne Rodriguez

[Our next match is a reunion of a rivalry that has been going on since 2006. These two females know each other very well, which brought the quality of the match up higher than perhaps other women wrestlers are able to do. When Belle Bryden came out, a fan held up a sign reading: 'Belle of the ball!' As the match went on, this fan held up numerous other signs, including: 'Dream Team = Dream Match!' 'Take it to the crowd!' and 'The hotness burns always!' The match is fast-paced with both women taking some high risks throughout the contest. Bryden manages to move her way out of the J-Rocker and sends J-Ro to the ropes. Bryden catches J-Ro with the kick known as the Dish Of The Day! Bryden makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Belle Bryden (Via Pinfall @ 10:29)

Match Rating: C

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/USPW.jpg

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/DesDavids_jhd1.jpg

[We head backstage to find one of the men who lost the USPW World Tag Team titles last evening, Des Davids, with a duffel bag in his right hand as he walks from his car in the parking garage toward the arena. He has on his football black paint already and he looks like he is ready to go though he isn't scheduled for a match this evening. Davids steps inside the arena and then gets knocked backward, dropping his duffel bag on the ground.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/LarryWood_alt.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/EricTyler.jpg

[The insane Larry Wood is shown moving through the door with a maniacal grin on his face. Wood clotheslines down Davids, who was definitely taken by surprise by the first shot. Eric Tyler steps in and gets in a few blows on Davids. Tyler pulls Davids up slightly -- Running Big Foot on Davids by Wood! Davids is down and out on the concrete. Larry Wood and Eric Tyler simply seem to be running wild here in USPW! Who can stop them?]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/USPW.jpg

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/Liberty_dse81.jpg

[We head back to the ringside area where the crowd goes crazy for the entrance of one of the most popular wrestlers here in USPW: James Justice! Justice walks down to the ring giving high fives to the fans and then steps inside. The 'DUDE' chant fills the arena as Justice looks around for a moment. He pulls a microphone to his lips and begins by saying that he is declaring himself as a top contender to the USPW World title! No matter who wins tonight between Enygma and Tyson Baine, he wants a title shot! After all, that is what everyone gets into this business for, right? He was about to continue when he was interrupted by the appearance of another figure.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/BruceTheGiant_sockpuppet.jpg

[This figure is the 7'4" 600 pound Bruce The Giant! Bruce thunders toward the ring and steps over the top rope coming face to chest with James Justice! Bruce palms Justice's head with one hand and shoves him backward into the turnbuckle. Justice bounces out and charges at Bruce -- clothesline by Bruce! Justice hits the mat. Bruce reaches down and picks up the microphone and says three words only into it: "Red, White, Blue."]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/USPW.jpg

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/AliceStrum1.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/NickyChampion_jhd2-1.jpg

[We head backstage once again, this time to the medical center in the Huntsville Fairgrounds. Nicky Champion is sitting down with some ice on his ribs and on his head. Champion looks up slowly and sees Alicia Strong enter the room. She approaches and asks him how he is doing. He tells her that he doesn't want to see her right now and then asks her why she set him up. She says she knows nothing about that. He says that he received a message from her asking him to meet her and that is where he got attacked by Redwood. Strong claims innocence but Champion kicks her out of the room.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/USPW.jpg

Match #3

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/giantredwood.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/DannyJillefski_alt2.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/ChrisCaulfield_alt1.jpg

Giant Redwood vs. Chris Caulfield

[The man known as Giant Redwood comes out from the back with Danny Jillefski in his corner to take on the #1 contender 'Hardcore American' Chris Caulfield. This is a hard-hitting brawl between these two men. The seven foot Redwood showed his power during the match, surprising some with the ferocity of his approach. Caulfield comes back and sends Redwood over the top rope with a Hardcore American Clothesline. The Clothesline sends them both over the top rope to the floor. As they were out on the floor, dueling signs were shown being raised in the background: 'Trees deserve to fall!' and 'Giant Redwood IS USPW!' Caulfield shows some power of his own, dropping Redwood on the guardrail with a Face-First Suplex! He brings Redwood back in the ring and sets him up -- Danger Drop! Redwood is laid out in the center of the ring and Caulfield makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3 as a sign is shown in the background: 'The #1 contender has just chopped you down to size!']

Winner: Chris Caulfield (Via Pinfall @ 8:08)

Match Rating: C

[Referee Baby Jamie raises the arm of the winner Chris Caulfield. A big victory for the number one contender here as Giant Redwood rolls out of the ring, arguing with Danny Jillefski. Caulfield exits the ring and walks up the aisle toward the back. He gets to the curtain where a figure attacks him from behind the curtain!]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/T-Rex_alt1.jpg

['The Jurassic Power' T-Rex appears from behind the curtain, throwing heavy handed punches to Caulfield. Caulfield fires back until T-Rex sends him up against the guardrail. T-Rex reaches into the audience and grabs a chair! He brings it up and slams it into the skull of Caulfield! Caulfield slumps down against the guardrail. T-Rex looks angry as he stands over Caulfield. With Tyson Baine having the opportunity to win the USPW World title tonight and Chris Caulfield named the #1 contender, T-Rex may have just helped his partner out here tonight.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/USPW.jpg

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/SuzanneBrazzle_Trell.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/PeterValentine_alt.jpg

[We head to the backstage interview area where the man who is still the USPW National Champion Peter Valentine is standing by alongside the Mystery Woman. The Mystery Woman finally identifies herself as Suzanne Brazzle, the current AAA Femme Fatale Champion. She talks about how she only associates with champions and that is why she is standing here with the USPW National Champion Peter Valentine. Valentine calls for an open challenge for USPW Red, White And Blue. He will take on whoever signs the contract first at the pay-per-view! But they're in for a heart breaking night.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/USPW.jpg

Match #4

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/DemonAnger.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/ShaneSneer.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/Liberty_dse81.jpg

Anger vs. James Justice

[Our semi main event focuses on two veterans of USPW competition in Anger and James Justice. Justice was a little worse for wear stemming from the attack by Bruce The Giant earlier this evening. Anger tried to take advantage of that and got several near falls early on. Anger got Justice in the corner and just clubbed him with forearm shots, bringing Justice all the way down to the mat. Our regular sign guy is shown holding up a sign reading: 'Anger needs to unleash his inner Demon!' Anger goes to the top turnbuckle and leaps for a top rope knee drop but Justice rolls out of the way! Shane Sneer yells at Anger from ringside as Justice gets the crowd behind him. The Dude chant fills the arena as Justice hits Anger with running clothesline after running clothesline! Anger finally stays down after number four. Justice yanks Anger back up -- Liberty Big Left Hand! That sends Anger back down to the mat. Justice bounces off the ropes -- SSSTTTAAALLLLLLSSS -- DUDE KNEE DROP! Justice stalks Anger for several moments as Anger pulls himself to his feet -- Liberation Slam! Justice drops Anger with the Uranage! Justice makes the cover, hooking the leg as Shane Sneer looks disappointed at ringside: 1 -- 2 -- 3! As Justice got the pinfall, a sign is shown within the background: 'Justice is served!']

Winner: James Justice (Via Pinfall @ 7:54)

Match Rating: C

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/USPW.jpg

Match #5

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/TysonBaine_alt4.jpg vs. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/Enygma_alt1jt.jpg

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/USPW3/USPW_World.jpg

USPW World Title Match

Tyson Baine vs. Enygma

[Our main event of the evening as made earlier tonight by Sam Strong is a match for the USPW World title! Enygma rappels into the ring, while Tyson Baine walks up the aisle, just as they came into the ring at the beginning of the broadcast. This match is another heavy hitting style of match with both men getting in some monster shots on the other. Baine takes control about four minutes in and gets several near falls in the match. Baine comes running at Enygma from behind and catches him with the blindside high knee, sending Enygma through the ropes to the outside of the ring. Baine follows Enygma outside the ring and rams him chest-first into the guardrail. He comes in behind him and slams him with the Devil's Hammer. That is Clubbing Blow to the back. He tosses Enygma back inside the ring and gets a two count.]

[As the match wears on, so does the stamina of both wrestlers. The momentum shifts when Baine goes for an Avalanche and Enygma sidesteps it. Enygma catches Baine with an Enygmagiri Kick! Baine goes down and Enygma makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- Kickout! Enygma focuses on the ankle, leg and knee of Baine as a set up to the Enygma Variation. Enygma executes a single leg grapevine but Baine will NOT submit! Baine manages to break the hold and when both men get up they begin slugging it out in the middle of the ring! Referee Eugene Williams steps in to try to break up the slug fest but he takes a shot from both men! Williams goes down, calling for the bell.]

Winner: Draw (Via Double Disqualification @ 12:19)

Match Rating: B

[Another draw between these two evenly matched competitors! But what does this do about the USPW World title scene? Right now, Enygma and Tyson Baine don't seem to care! They are brawling in the center of the ring with Baine slowly taking an advantage because of his size and strength advantage. He grabs Enygma -- Standing Spinebuster! The crowd boos as Enygma is dropped onto the mat. Baine reaches down and picks up Enygma by the throat -- Hades Bo -- NO! Enygma fights out of it -- Enygmagiri -- NO! Baine avoids the Enygmagiri Kick! The two men stare down now as the show comes to an end. But who is the USPW World Champion? The show ends with a sign in the background: 'Sign Steve Flash!']

USPW Television Title Match: Andre Jones defends vs. Darryl Devine vs. Johnny Martin vs. Freddie Datsun

Comment: I could see Freddie taking the title here but he´s one half of one of your top tag teams so it´s little bit unlikely. In the end I go with Jones retaining.

Giant Redwood vs. Mainstream Hernandez

Comment: Not 100% sure on this one but surely Redwood is still higher on the ladders at this point.

Des Davids vs. Anger

Comment: Davids are more important.

Cherry Bomb and Belle Bryden vs. Raven Robinson and Katherine Goodlooks

Comment: Bomb and Bryden are the two most likely challengers for Robinson so I see them getting a win over her here.

A Mystery Opponent Selected By Tyson Baine vs. Chris Caulfield

Comment: My guess is T-Rex, but whoever the opponent will be I believe that Caulfield should win and solify his spot as number one contenter.

A Mystery Opponent Selected By Chris Caulfield vs. Tyson Baine

Comment: I doubt that you would give another Baine vs. Enygma match away in TV so I go with Justice instead and like in Caulfield´s case, I believe that Baine should win this one regardless of his opponent.

Yeah! Ow, I punched my hands together...

So you're telling me Enygma never came down from the PPV? Cool.

What the **** my shoulder is bleeding...

'Sign Steve Flash'

Best ending ever.

Prediction Key:

USPW Television Title Match: Andre Jones defends vs. Darryl Devine vs. Johnny Martin vs. Freddie Datsun

Comment: I give it to the old guy, because...he should be solid in the ring. I don't really like anyone in the match, especially Datsun for some reason. Have a suspicion Devine's winning this.

Giant Redwood vs. Mainstream Hernandez

Comment: lol

Des Davids vs. Anger

Comment: This is an interesting win for Davids. I suppose, with Jones losing earlier, this is to push them toward the tag titles?

Cherry Bomb and Belle Bryden vs. Raven Robinson and Katherine Goodlooks

Comment: Next champ pins newcomer. Goodlooks is actually one of the better women in the game, psychology-wise. This will be a very nice match.

A Mystery Opponent Selected By Tyson Baine vs. Chris Caulfield

Comment: T-Rex

A Mystery Opponent Selected By Chris Caulfield vs. Tyson Baine

Comment: Justice

Plus, once again, Sam Strong is in the building to talk about the USPW World title controversy!

Signs:

"TV is for nerds."

"Mainstream likes Wood."

"Davids can Spite Anger."

"Cherry Pie with the Dish of the Day, please."

"Katherine Awesomelooks."

"Not enough women."

"United Sexy Pro Wrestling."

"Pin me!"

"$500 to the first woman to kiss me!"

"I wanted a Hardcore Dinosaur!"

"Reject of Hades"

"Give me your daughter!"

"Brazzle wants Nicky CHAMPION."

"Brazzle has a beautiful bouncing brassiere."-I don't know where that one would appear. Possibly women's match if she doesn't actually show up.
