DIASPORA- Takayuki of the Revolution

Recommended Posts

.

Result: Zodiac [w] & Talisman bt Kotei Yamato & Shintaro Hideki [L] in 19:37 via pinfall (Steins Gate)

Close match and New Solution came out of it looking strong. It'll be interesting to see who their next challenger is. Probably not Moe Money.:)

Result: Hiroto Nori drew with Sairento in 24:52 (Double knockout)

Just the match I was waiting for. That's me beside Mio, holding the axe for her.

I'll just put that correction in there for you ;):p

That aside, top notch show analysis as always Miko- your opinion's/reaction to each show are always an enjoyable read and help add an extra element to the diary :)

In the meantime, I'm going to do a bit of self plugging here:

In case you aren't aware already, I've started up an anime reviews thread in the Dog Pound section....

Eikichi Minamoto's favourite show will be reviewed :D

I was putting my feet up backstage, feeling satisfied with the show we had put on in Bunkyo Hall, when Hiroto Nori came storming in....

'Kunomasu-san, I really don't think I'm suitable to matches of such a violent nature'- pointing at the bandage that was now wrapped round the top of the head....

He seemed to do pretty well to me, I mean the crowd were really into the No Rope, No DQ battle he had with Sairento, I mean this was a feud that was gathering up momentum, because the fans believe they are prepared to 'kill' each other.

'For one thing Sairento takes it way too seriously out there, it's like he literally wants to kill me' Pointing again towards the bandage round his head.....

'And besides Mio-chan's going to go potty when she see's me like this'

Hadn't he noticed, she went 'potty' anyway and one more thing about that whilst I can appreciate such enthusiastic and decicated support from one of DIASPORA's fans, i'm afraid Mio is taking things too far....no fan should get themsleves involved in the action. It's why she had to be escorted out of the buidling

'Mio won't be happy about that, and do you know who will be in for it, do you, DO YOU KNOW?!'

Hiroto Nori I guess, but she's his girlfriend - it's a decision he should live with . But truth is Mio is becoming a bit of a nuisance and we can't have her running riot over our shows just because she doesn't like it when things aren't going Nori's way. If she carries on being a disturbance we may have to ban her from our shows.

'Oh please don't do that, you couldn't imagine the consequences if you were to do that....you really should not consider that option, not even in the slightest'

I know Mio clearly has some screws loose and is over-protective of Nori-san, but it's not like she would hunt us all down with an axe or something, as she carries out some kind of misguided revenge mission against the 'injustice' of us keeping her away from her 'Nori-chan' every passing second of each day of the rest of the life's.

Nori-chan then gave me a look as if to say...yes she would.

Why the hell did Nori-san have to end up with a bloody Yandere?!!

Oops, thanks.

That aside, top notch show analysis as always Miko- your opinion's/reaction to each show are always an enjoyable read and help add an extra element to the diary :)

Thanks! I'm enjoying the action so far. I'm also glad to see more variety popping in with Moe Money and Soh Terajima, even if Soh doesn't know he's comic relief.

In the meantime, I'm going to do a bit of self plugging here:

I've not seen that anime yet. I've just finished Darker Than Black Season 1+OAVS+Season 2. Now I'm deciding if I want to finish Paranoia Agent or go on to Noir or Ergo Proxy.

DIASPORA fans were witness to one of the most brutally violent battles in the promotion's history, with the No Rope No DQ match between bitter rivals Sairento and Hiroto Nori ending in a double K.O.

Those two warriors and the rest of the DIASPORA roster however must prepare to go to war once again, as the Full Metal Panic! Tour continues on to the Nagoya Central Gym in Aichi prefecture, Chubu. DIASPORA's signature Junior six man tag action will main even the show with the Kuro-Nadeshiko trio of Sairento and IMPERIOUS (Tian Long & Incognito) desperate to show they are still a threat by defeating The Guardians's champion trio of Super Junior Champion Prime Dragon and Junior Tag Team Champions Whispered (Zodiac & Talisman).

An intriguing heavyweight tag team match between The Guardians duo of Heavyweight Champion Hyotaru Ichigawa and Eikichi Minamoto and the Udon Noodle Killers of GUSHIKEN & Chojiro Ono. These four were involved in a six man tag at Bunkyo Hall, with the Guardians coming out on top, but not without problems developing between Minamoto and Ichigawa due to 'Rumble Heart' tagging himself in, when Ichigawa was about to earn the win himself. Can Kuro's Big men take advantage of the tension brewing between the Guardians duo and avenge their loss at Bunkyo Hall?

S.H.I.P's heavyweight's will do inter faction battle as the All Asia Tag Team champions of the Tokyo Wrecking Crew (Oda Yamawaki & Hiro Date) take on their fellow stable mates former Heavyweight Champion Koto Arato and the promising young lion Go Takashi....and to give the match an extra competitive edge the champions have agreed to put their belts on the line.

Singles action will make up the rest of the show.......

New Solution will look to get some revenge on Kuro-Nadeshiko's pesky interference runners of Blood Spider Jr and Soh Terajima- who they will feel played a big part in costing them the Junior Tag Team Championship at Neon Genesis Evolution, with Kotei Yamato taking on Blood Spider Jr and Shintaro Hideki up against Soh Terajima. Terajima himself of course will be motivated by revenge himself, for all those times he has had his Black Box super-kicked into his face by Hideki.

Meanwhile Terajima and Spider's fellow Kuro stable mate Dark Wolf II takes on The Forgotten's Kohei Hidaka - who will be looking for his second straight win over a Kuro member, after defeating Blood Spider Jr at Bunkyo Hall, whilst Yachi Kotara will look to pull off an upset against S.H.I.P leader Hiroto Nori, an opportunity that may have fallen at just the right time for the veteran, with Nori still recovering from his brutal war with Sairento. Rounding out the main show Hunter Wolfe faces off with one half of MOE! MONEY!, HUSTLE Umiro; whilst on the pre-show HUSTLE's tag partner Meido Machine takes on Taheji Ebisawa.

Here is a run-down of the full card for Show 13 of the the Full Metal Panic! Tour.....

Sairento, Tian Long & Incognito vs Prime Dragon, Zodiac & Talisman

I could see this going either way. The Guardian Team are champions, but the Kuro side are all contenders. It's a coinflip, so I'll take the side that has slightly fewer egomaniacs.

Hyotaru Ichigawa & Eikichi Minamoto vs GUSHIKEN & Chojiro Ono

Ono is still the weak link here in my opinion.

All Asia Tag Team Championship: Tokyo Wrecking Crew (Hiro Date & Oda Yawawaki) vs Koto Arato & Go Takashi

Arato is probably the biggest name here, but Date and Yamawaki are the real team and Takashi looks like the fall guy.

Blood Spider Jr vs Kotei Yamato

Yamato bounces back from losing the titles with a win over Kuro's junior member.

Soh Terajma vs Shintaro Hideki

As does Hideki over Kuro's designated fall guy.

Dark Wolf II vs Kohei Hidaka

I think you've got plans for Dark Wolf II.

Hiroto Nori vs Yachi Kotara

Squash.

HUSTLE Umiro vs Hunter Wolfe

Don't see Wolfe winning anytime soon; even against a comedy tag guy.

Meido Machine vs Taheji Ebisawa

Ebisawa on the other hand seems like he could be in the Heavyweight Tag Title contention if he could find a real partner.

Sairento, Tian Long & Incognito vs Prime Dragon, Zodiac & Talisman

It's more interesting if the champs lose.

Hyotaru Ichigawa & Eikichi Minamoto vs GUSHIKEN & Chojiro Ono

Champ wins this one.

All Asia Tag Team Championship: Tokyo Wrecking Crew (Hiro Date & Oda Yawawaki) vs Koto Arato & Go Takashi

Though do we really want to see Koto, AKA El Super Super Super Porky de Puroresu, lose another match?

Blood Spider Jr vs Kotei Yamato

Soh Terajma vs Shintaro Hideki

I really think Soh has to win this somehow for this to have any interest.

Dark Wolf II vs Kohei Hidaka

In the wrestling ring, the wolf howls tonight.

Hiroto Nori vs Yachi Kotara

Keep Mio Happy.

HUSTLE Umiro vs Hunter Wolfe

Hustle is the bigger name and talent.

Meido Machine vs Taheji Ebisawa

Ebisawa needs to built more momentum.

Sairento, Tian Long & Incognito vs Prime Dragon, Zodiac & Talisman

This looks like a good spot to give Long a big win in order to satisfy that owner goal and Kuro guys winning could well set-up two title defenses later on.

Hyotaru Ichigawa & Eikichi Minamoto vs GUSHIKEN & Chojiro Ono

I agree with Tiberious4, Ono is the weak link here by quite big margin.

All Asia Tag Team Championship: Tokyo Wrecking Crew (Hiro Date & Oda Yawawaki) vs Koto Arato & Go Takashi

Takashi isn´t ready for a title yet so he will lose even with Arato as he´s partner.

Blood Spider Jr vs Kotei Yamato

Spider seems to be pretty much job guy number two in Kuro.

Soh Terajma vs Shintaro Hideki

Don´t really see why Terajima should go over as he has got his share of the wins against lesser opponents and thus is presented about as strong as he could be.

Dark Wolf II vs Kohei Hidaka

Wolf seems to be rising on hte ranks so I could well see him going over Hidake espesially in singles action.

Hiroto Nori vs Yachi Kotara

Squash.

HUSTLE Umiro vs Hunter Wolfe

Umiro might be comedy tag guy but he´s still above Wolfe on pecking order.

Meido Machine vs Taheji Ebisawa

This was actually a tough one for me. I was going to go with Meido thanks to his tag team with Umiro but after I though it little more I think that Ebisawa is the one with bigger push right now.

The Frustration of Visual Exposure

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_TakayukiKunomasu.jpg http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTActO_Q1B5RxCfEXvXybJ6AVNY2ODbrArRHn6POl3WlFGuBF-mlQ

About a week ago, I wrote to Japan Sports 2 to see if they were interested in showing DIASPORA on their network......

Well I waited and waited for a reply and when it finally does come, well lets just say it's not the one I wanted. Apparently we're not 'big enough'. They weren't even prepared to negotiate the graveyard slot (though I'm not really sure how that would help us gain any exposure)......

We really need to get on TV to help us expand our fanbase and give us any chance what so ever of competing with UPJ, otherwise Dragon-san's revolution will be a bit of a waste. Though we need to actually get on a network that will help us grow and anything below the level of J Sports 2, really isn't going to do much to help us- though admittedly for now just getting on the TV ladder at any rung may well be what we have to settle for.

A most frustrating development but we cannot become despondent and we must keep on fighting!

O.O.C Note

Next show should be up on Thursday- Admittedly I have been a bit distracted away from this, with watching the Euro Championships footie and also with getting my anime reviews thread up and running in the Dog Pound.

So if anyone else other than the same four, who have predicted for the last few shows- would like to predict/share their thoughts on the up-coming card- feel free to do so. Then again I'm starting to feel the lack of an actual prediction 'contest' is contributing to the diminishing amount of predictions.

Gonna do my best because I sucked big time in your BHOTWG diary LOL.

Sairento, Tian Long & Incognito vs Prime Dragon, Zodiac & Talisman

Champs are made to look strong in a close bout.

Hyotaru Ichigawa & Eikichi Minamoto vs GUSHIKEN & Chojiro Ono

Poor Ono.

All Asia Tag Team Championship: Tokyo Wrecking Crew (Hiro Date & Oda Yawawaki) vs Koto Arato & Go Takashi

I like Go Takashi (he looks like Go Shiozaki to me) but he's not ready for a title yet.

Blood Spider Jr vs Kotei Yamato

BJS aint quite ready yet...

Soh Terajma vs Shintaro Hideki

Gonna cheat to win and succeed this time.

Dark Wolf II vs Kohei Hidaka

DWII has an awesome moveset and seems to be hitting his stride.

Hiroto Nori vs Yachi Kotara

I-I-I-I'm not picking Nori because Mio-Mio has a gun pointed to my head...*quiet voice* save me please...

HUSTLE Umiro vs Hunter Wolfe

Want Wolfe to get the win but HUSTLE will feed on the American's greed :)

Meido Machine vs Taheji Ebisawa

Machine is pretty cool but it won't be enough to beat Ebisawa (I think)

Full Metal Panic! Tour - Show 13

Thursday 9th February 2012,

Nagoya Central Gym, Aichi, Chubu (1,909)

Match 0: Meido Machine vs Taheji Ebisawa

Meido seemed to unfocus Ebisawa at the start of the match by doing a cat impression, leading to him suddenly catching 'Forceful Dagger' by surprise with a quick roll-up. And though Ebisawa kicked out of that, the 'World's Most Dangerous Otaku' continued to be a step ahead in the early going - even to the point that he locked on the Nyan-Lock (Keylock).....

But Ebisawa managed to power his way out, and after a flurry of clothelines turned round the momentum, 'Forceful Dagger' wasn't going to hand back the momentum and in the end Meido was put away with the Ebisawa Complex (Swinging Side Slam Backbreaker).

Result: Taheji Ebisawa [w] bt Meido Machine [L] in 6:11 via pinfall (Ebisawa Complex)

Rating: 42

Takayuki Balls: Solid enough contest, but it was noticeable that they held back a little here, then again why go hell for leather when not even half the fans are all that bothered to watch the action.

__________________________________________________________

Main Show

Match 1: HUSTLE Umiro vs Hunter Wolfe

HUSTLE began to bust out some break dancing moves at the start of the match but Wolfe was in no mood for his tom-foolery and stomped away on the 'Ducker Diver' just as HUSTLE was in the middle of a back-spin.

Wolfe then man-handled HUSTLE for the next few minutes, but a German Suplex Hold and a Hunting Strike (Discus Elbow Strike) weren't quite enough to put HUSTLE away, much to 'Ronin Thunder's frustration. Wolfe then got distracted, just as he was setting up for the Redemption Bomb when Meido Machine stepped up onto the apron and unfurled a fanservice wall-scroll of Holo from the anime Spice and Wolf.....

http://media.archonia.com/images/samples/50/22/95022_s0.jpg

HUSTLE then took full advantage by catching the stunned Wolfe off guard with the Out-Hustled (Backslide Pin).....Wolfe to his credit managed to power his way out of that but his head was still all over the place and HUSTLE then planted 'Ronin Thunder' with the Hustle Brother (Legsweep DDT) to secure the win.

Result: HUSTLE Umiro [w] bt Hunter Wolfe [L] in 5:53 via pinfall (Out-Hustled)

Rating: 50

Takayuki Balls: A short but entertaining opener, Wolfe continues to look competitive in his losses without quite having the 'smarts' to be able to secure a victory. I'm pretty sure Wolfe wasn't the only one left stunned by the unique method of distraction either.

_____________________________________________________________

Match 2: Hiroto Nori vs Yachi Kotara

Nori still had a bandage wrapped round his head, where he was busted open during his vicious No Rope, No DQ match with Sairento. Kotara however has little chance to take advanage as the S.H.I.P leader came out like a man possessed, as if though Kotara may as well have been Sairento himself. 'Rough Rider' had no answer for Nori's relentless barrage of kicks and strikes and it was the high kick to the head at the end of the Endless Nori kick flurry that secured victory for 'Battle' in just under 4 minutes.

Result: Hiroto Nori [w] bt Yachi Kotara [L] in 3:51 via pinfall (Endless Nori)

Rating: 53

Takayuki Balls: Nori was in slightly worse shape than Sairento after their gruelling main event from Bunkyo Hall, but I still wanted to get him on this show- so I felt this out-right squash match was an ideal solution. And though it was totally one-sided, the crowd responded positively, as it made Nori look like a total bad-ass.

_____________________________________________________________________

Match 3: Dark Wolf II vs Kohei Hidaka

They begin with some lucha-esque chain wrestling, with Hidaka getting the early upper hand and almost nabbing the win early on with a La Magistral Cradle. The 'Howling Menace' goes to re-group out on the floor but gets taken down with diving press from Hidaka. But Wolf seizes control with a knee into the groin and a clothesline just as Hidaka was pitching him back into the ring.

Wolf then dominates for the next two minutes, getting a two count with a German suplex hold and an even closer one following a Fireman's Carry lift dropped into a sitout powerbomb. The 'Howling Menace' then decided to head up top but Hidaka managed to move out of the way of the Wolf's Rain (Diving Elbow Drop) and then regained momentum with a series of leg-lariats....leading into ''Red Dog' planting Wolf with the Bite and Bark (Diving Bulldog).....

But Wolf managed to just about kick out......Hidaka then decided to head up to the top turbuckle but the 'Howling Menace' was back up and sent Hidaka crashing back in with a hurracanrana. Wolf then nailed Hidaka with the Wolf's Call (Sliding Lariat into a Pin) to secure the victory in an evenly fought contest.

Result: Dark Wolf II [w] bt Kohei Hidaka in 8:41 via pinfall (Wolf's Call)

Rating: 50

Takayuki Balls: A solid midcard match-up and that's all it really needed to be. Wolf goes over here, because we feel given time he can have a more prominent role. Hidaka continues to be solid in his role as a lower midcard gatekeeper.

___________________________________________________________________

Match #4: Shintaro Hideki vs Soh Terajima

Terajima does alot of stalling at the start, as though he wants no part of this match- Hideki eventually catches up to him however and dominates with some striking combinations. 'Integral Prowess' then gets a two count with a Northern Light's Suplex and then transitions into the Hideki Special (Cross Arm Bar) but Terjajima manages to get to the ropes.

The 'Cloaked Assassin' then goes out to the floor to regroup and immediately goes for the Black Box but Hideki see's that and steps up to nail Terajima with the Superkick but Terajima see's it coming and drops down off the apron.

Terajima tries to sneak again and take Hideki out with a Black Box attack but once again 'Integral Prowess' is ready to superkick Terajima's foreign object of choice into his face. Terajima gives up on that idea and slides back into the ring....only to bail to the floor again. Hideki doesn't take the bait and simply lets the Kuro man let himself get counted out. The crowd show quickly showed their displeasure towards Terajima's cowardice, but the Cloaked Assassin could care less and flipped them off on the way back up the entrance ramp.

Result: Shintaro Hideki bt Soh Terajima in 5:37 via countout.

Rating: 38

Takayuki Balls: Crowd hated the finish, but I was prepared for that, in order to move the feud forward a little, without starting to make Hideki look like a jobber. Hideki gets the win, but in a completely non satisfying manner and besides right now Hideki is knacketed and I needed to put him in a match where he wasn't going to be worked hard.

Post Match Footage:

Terajima jumps Hideki back stage, amongst the merchandise tables but 'Integral Prowess' fires right back, and Terajima is soon scampering away from the former Junior Tag Champion.

______________________________________________________________

Match #5: Kotei Yamato vs Blood Spider Jr

Blood Spider Jr jumped Yamato before the bell to get an early advantage. 'The New Nightmare' methodically works over the ribs of Yamato for a bit, before getting the Web of Deception (Spinning Headsiccsors into an Octopus Stretch) locked on.....Pin Point manages to fight his way out of the hold but a potential rally is cut short with a knee into the mid-section, Blood Spider Jr then hit a DDT for a two count before going up top.

But Yamato got the knees up as Spider came crashing down with the Blood Drop (Senton Bomb) before snaring the 'New Nightmare' in the Knightmare Frame (Bridging Cobra Clutch) but Spider was able to battle his way to the ropes....

Yamato continued to seize the momentum, nailing Spider with a drop-kick into the corner and then placing the 'New Nightmare' up on top to send Spider crashing back in with a superplex. Yamato then began to set up for the Gurren Driver (Scoop Slam Piledriver) but Spider managed to slip out of that and then counter into a sleeper hold.

'Pin Point' managed to hold on and backed Spider into the corner, forcing the 'New Nightmare' to release the old only to then be planted with a diving bulldog. That got a two count, before Spider lifted Yamato up with a double underhook to set up for the Lethal Bite (Double Underhook Piledriver) but 'Pin Point' held firm and then countered with a back body drop.

A gamengiri then seized back momentum for Yamato, who then planted Spider with the Gurren MK II Driver (Sitout Side Driver)....that would have won it right there but Soh Terajima suddenly made his prescence known as he stepped up onto the apron.

Terajima then went to swing at Yamato with the Black Box, only to get it kicked out of his hand by Shintaro Hideki- those two then brawled into the crowd with Hideki doing most of the ass -whooping.

Blood Spider Jr then tried to take Yamato by surprise with the Poison Mist but 'Pin Point' managed to side step out of the way and nail Spider with a high kick to the head, before pulling the 'New Nightmare' in for the End Game (Clutched Knee Strike Flurry) before making the academic cover to secure the win.

Result: Kotei Yamato [w] bt Blood Spider Jr [L] in 10:18 via pinfall (End Game)

Rating: 55

Takayuki Balls: We actually get to see a match with this one, and not a bad one either. Blood Spider Jr was made to look at least competitive, whilst obviously being out-classed by Yamato. Now the real business end of the show begins, with the next three matches.

Post Match Comments:

Kotei Yamato: We'd wish our focus was fully on claiming back the Junior Tag Team Championship but the salty trash that is Terajima and Blood Spider are getting under own skins- we must eliminate them, before we can return full focus to our real goal.

~Keep Competiton Alive~

Match #6: All Asia Tag Team Championship:

Tokyo Wrecking Crew (Hiro Date & Oda Yamawaki) vs

Koto Arato & Go Takashi

vs

Time for some title match action as the Tokyo Wrecking Crew but the Al Asia Tag belts on the line against their fellow S.H.I.P brethren Koto Arato & Go Takashi.

The early exchanges see's both side evenly matched with neither one really pressing home an advantage, with a mixture of striking contests and hold for hold mat exchanges. In fact the highlight of the first five minutes is a chop battle between Takashi and Date that ends in a stale mate and both of them ending up with rather red chests to show for it.

Takashi then got a bit overager to go for one of his big moves the DRRR!!! (Wrist Clutch Death Valley Driver) on Date after gaining some momentum with a series of snap suplexes, but 'Stampeding Bull' managed to slip off and counter with a release German suplex.

That put the TWC in control and they worked Takashi over in their corner, mostly concentrating on worker over the back of 'Nippon Hart. That set things up for Date to lock Takashi in the Date with Pain (Elevevated Boston Crab) but Takashi showed the fighting spirit he is becoming known for an battled his way to the ropes.

Takashi remained in trouble however and soon found himself hoisted upon Date's shoulders, as Yamawaki went up top.....but Takashi managed to duck Yamawaki's flying clothesline as the TWC went or the Sky Tree, and countered into a victory roll.....

Yamawaki ate an Arato Lariat, from Koto Arato but Date was able to kick out of the victory roll. Takashi then got rocked by a shoulder tackle from Date who then set up for the Rejection (Fisherman Brainbuster) but Takashi managed to fight out if and then pull off the Bartenders Swing (Giant Swing) before staggering back into his corner for Arato to tag into the match.

A disorientated Date then ate an Arato Lariat but Yamawaki was able to make the save....the TWC then tried for a double team suplex on Arato only to have it reversed by 'Strong Dreamer' who then took both of them down with a double clothesline.

Arato then planted Date with the Gotch Suplex (Dead Lift German Suplex) but Yamawaki was able to make the save again before being pitched back out to the floor by Arato. Arato then turned his attention back to Date and went for the Arato Suplex (Half Nelson Choke Suplex) but Date managed to fight is way out of it and then managed to combine with Yamawaki to deliver a missile drop-kick assisted Rejection II (Backdrop suplex ) on the big man.

Takashi was able to come in and make the save at the last split second and then engaged in a striking battle with Yamawaki before taking 'Fearless' down with the Headless Ride (Running Neckreaker).....Date made the save but then got planted with the Headless Ride himself.

Takashi turned his attention back to Yamawaki and set up for the DRRR!! (Wrist Clutch Death Valley Driver) but 'Fearless' regained his senses and fought his way out with a series of side elbows before countering into the Tokyo Tower (Vertical Suplex Side Slam)

Arato tried to get back into the ring to make the save but Date managed to hold 'Strong Dreamer' back and Yamawaki's Tokyo Tower proved to be enough for the Wrecking Crew to retain the titles.

Result: Hiro Date & Oda Yamawaki [w] bt Koto Arato & Go Takashi [L] in 14:41 via pinfall (Tokyo Tower)

Tokyo Wrecking Crew make V3 Defence of DIASPORA All Asia Tag Team Championship

Rating: 67

Takayuki Balls: Decent competitive contest once it really got going, but I think absolutely no one ever thought that the Wrecking Crew's run with the All Asia Tag Titles would ever be in doubt, and that this was a 'filler' title defence.

Post Match Comments:

Oda Yamawaki: Great respect to Arato-san and Takashi-san, they gave us a tough competitve match.

Hiro Date: Takashi-san will go but he found out tonight the Tokyo-Wrecking Crew are the top tag team in DIASPORA.

Koto Arato: It would have been nice to win tag team gold, especially alongside Takashi-san who fought bravely but the Wrecking Crew were just that bit better than us.

Go Takashi: I may have lost tonight, but I will only grow stronger from this defeat- I can only learn from being in there with the best and I will learn to get better.

Match #7: Hyotaru Ichigawa & Eikichi Minamoto vs

Udon Noodle Killers (GUSHIKEN & Chojiro Ono)

vs

Tensions from the previous match between Ichigawa and Minamoto were still evident as they making their entrance with the pair arguing up the entrance ramp, something the Udon Noodle Killers took full advantage of by jumping their opponents and preceding to lay a beat-down all around the ringside area on the Guardians pair- resulting in Ono tossing Ichigawa hard into the ring-steps.

When the bell finally did ring Minamoto found himself isolated in the UNK corner, but 'Rumble Heart' managed to dig down and busted out a pair of drop-kicks on the super heavyweight duo, only to then find that Ichigawa was not there to take the tag.

Minamoto was then levelled from behind with a clothesline from Ono and promptly dragged back into the Kuro-Nadeshiko pair's corner. 'Rumble Heart' continued to show great fighting spirit though, kicking out of the GUSHIKEN Driver (Samoan Driver) and then incredibly he attemted to counter a powerbomb attempt from Ono into a sunset flip.....

Ono was too big to flip over and went to simply sit his considerable frame down upon Minamoto but 'Rumble Heart' managed to move out of the way and then nail Ono, who was struggling to move his weight up off the canvas with a basement drop-kick.

Minamoto then reached out to take the tag from Ichigawa, but still 'White Light' wasn't ready to make the tag- though this time it was because GUSHIKEN had charged out of the corner and knocked Ichigawa off the apron.

Minamoto then turned round to see a recovered Ono come charging at him with a clothesline, but managed to side-step out of the way at the last split second, before nailing Ono with a drop-kick to the back....sending 'Epic Tsunami' tumbling over the top-rope.

Ichigawa then took that opportunity to suddenly tag himself into the match, the Guardians pair then tried to bring Ono back into the ring, but were then laid out with a double clothesline and Ichigawa was pitched back into the ring.

Ono then went for the Okinawa Battle Bomb (Spinning Battle Bomb) on Ichigawa, but all of a sudden the Heavyweight Champion managed to trap 'Epic Tsunami's' arm into the Crucifix Arm Bar......

Ono tried to counter the pain forcing him down to the mat, but Ichigawa was unrelenting with the classic submission hold that has brought him so many victories over the years.......

Luckily for Ono, who was just about on the verge of tapping out as fresh GUSHIKEN was able to make the save.......

GUSHIKEN then nailed Ichigawa with the GUSHIKEN Smash (Charging Elbow Smash), buying him enough time to get Ono across to the UNK corner and get himself tagged back in.....

Ichigawa staggered back up to his feet but ate another GUSHIKEN Smash.....but 'White Light' was able to kick out a two much to 'Great Thunder's' immediate frustration.

GUSHIKEN then lifted Ichigawa up for the GUSHIKEN Firebomb (Thunder Fire Powerbomb) but once again Ichigawa was able to counter a powerbomb attempt by getting the Crucifix Armbar locked on......

GUSHIKEN staggered around trying to shake the dogged Ichigawa off, and it took them over to the Guardians corner, where just as in the six man tag at Bunkyo Hall Minamoto made a blind tag, whilst Ichigawa was in control.

Ichigawa had to release the hold and showed his immediate at Minamoto who was then clotheslined from behind by a recovered GUSHIKEN but the Crucifix Armbar left 'Great Thunder' clutching at his arm, and when he was too slow to set up for the GUSHIKEN Firebomb, giving Minamoto time to recover and stun GUSHIKEN with a jawbreaker.

'Rumble Heart' then nailed GUSHIKEN with a drop-kick.......'Great Thunder' stayed on his feet but staggered towards Minamoto who busted out something new a Tilt-A-Whirl Headscissors Armbar....announcer Shun'en Kogara called out as the 'Akira Takano Tea Club Special'

GUSHIKEN was in absolute agony and was forced to tap out, though Ichigawa would feel he had 'Great Thunder' on the verge of doing just that himself, before Minamoto once again stole the spotlight away from him.

Result: Hyotaru Ichigawa & Eikichi Minamoto [w] bt GUSHIKEN [L] & Chojiro Ono in 12:30 via submission (Akira Takano Tea Club Special)

Rating: 74

Takayuki Balls: This was one of those matches that could have easily ended up disappointing, especially with Ichigawa and Minamoto working the tag partners who can't get along angle- but their one upmanship actually resulted in some inventive spots with Minamoto busting out something new to bring down GUSHIKEN, well after Ichigawa had softened the big man up first.

Despite winning the match Minamoto and Ichigawa continue to jab at each other verbally- leading to Minamoto asking for the mic.....

'You ask me what my problem is, well about this for a start, how about you finally give me a match for that title'

Ichigawa who now has a mic of his own responds....

'You've had one, or had you forgotten'

'No I've not forgotten that match is back in July but isn't it about time I had rematch for that belt?'

' I don't know, have you really earned it?'

'Oh come on maybe you're the one who's really forgotten something, I took you right to the limit in that match, but you got help, remember now...do you?''

'I'd rather not, that was the me of the past, I'd rather keep it that way'

'Well that YOU of the past, stacked the odds against me and I think I deserve my rematch, I thought you were now enough of a stand-up, honest competitor to give me the rematch I deserve'

'Well to be honest Minamoto-san, all you had to do was simply ask'

'Simply ask?- Do you not appreciate that doing that is a rather challenging thing to do, about as challenging as Harima asking Tenma to go out with him.'

(Minamoto points to someone in the front row he thinks looks like the School Rumble character Kenji Harima- which just so happens to be DIASPORA front office member Takayuki Kunomasu)

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_TakayukiKunomasu.jpg http://t0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSuGUcB0dq3Wsf0OMLkd51sQRoug27JtWTP0HiUzZTTVliEUjcvxw

'Minamoto-san, I'm tired of these games....you've got your title shot'

'Who said anything about games, Oh I'm serious, I'm really serious right now and I'm going to become the Heavyweight Champion, as serious as Harima over there want's to become a mangaka!!'

'I said fine, just leave it....we'll have our match and we will see who the better man is'

Rating: 75

Takayuki Balls: That was a pretty good microphone exchange- Ichigawa is hardly gold on the mic but his grumpy nonchalence towards this sort of thing, played well off Minamoto's much more hyper delivery. Minamoto got across his point that he hasn't yet had the rematch he deserves, after a controversial loss to Ichigawa back in July, when the champion was leading the then top heel faction in DIASPORA- Crimson Denizens. But Ichigawa still comes out smelling of roses, by simply telling Minamoto that all he had to do was ask.

~The War That Never Stops~

Match #8: Prime Dragon, Zodiac & Talisman vs

Sairento, Tian Long & Incognito

vs

The first five minutes of this Guardians vs Kuro six man tag are cagey, with neither side really pressing home much of an advantage. Incognito however becomes a little bit impatient and a handspring back elbow attempt is blocked and countered into a high angle belly to back suplex by Prime Dragon.

That get's an early two count for the Super Junior Champion, who then goes for the Dragonsault only for Tian Long to conveniently shake the top-rope. 'The Grand Pillar' staggers back into the ring and Incognito gets a two with a La Magistral Cradle, before nailing Dragon with a spinning heel kick.

The Super Junior Champion was then whipped into the Kuro corner......where the much despised trio then proceeded to methodically work over the beloved Dragon much to the frustration of 'Whispered' and the fans in attendance. The Kuro trio took turns to subject the Super Junior Champion to consecutive face-washes before really rubbing it in by delivering a trio of basement drop-kicks in the corner, but the Guardians leader showed his resillience by refusing to stay down for three after Tian Long made the pin.

Long then went to plant Dragon with a chokeslam, but the Super Junior Champion managed to block the attempt and countered with a Uranage backbreaker, but both Sairento and Incognito rushed out of the corner to knock 'Whispered' off the apron and prevent Dragon from making the tag.

Sairento then took control, by planting Dragon's face into the canvas with the Kuro-Stomp (Surfboard Curb Stomp).....before taunting the Guardians leader to get up, with a series of paint-brush slaps.......That only seemed to spark some fighting spirit into the Super Junior champion, but Dragon's rally was cut off with a knee into the gut before being drilled with a Brainbuster for a two count.

Sairento turned it over to Incognito, who peppered Dragon with a flurry of kicks, and then followed up with a Tilt-A-Whirl legsweep for a two count. Dragon was trying his best to simply survive but all his team-mates could do was watch on in frustration.

Incognito then decided it was time to finish Dragon off, and headed for the top turnbuckle, but before 'El Pesadilla Hermosa' could take flight, the 'Grand Pillar' incredibly got back to his feet and stunned Incognito with a palm strike, before sending the Kuro luchador crashing back into the ring with a hurracanrana.......

Dragon was too worn down though to follow up with any sort of pin and simply looked to make the tag to either of his partners. But unfortunatelty for him Incognito was able to tag out first, and he was prevented from making the tag by Sairento. 'Silent Reaper' delivered a series of stomps to Dragon, before lifting the dazed and worn down Guardians leader upon his shoulders, but to everyone's relief and amazement the Super Junior Champion still had enough left in the tank to counter with a crucifix bomb before stunning Sairento with a rolling wheel kick.

That brought Dragon enough time to finally get the long anticipated hot tag into Zodiac, who planted Sairento with a springboard Tornado DDT, before taking down an on charging Tian Long and Incognito with consecutive tilt-a-whirl headscissor take-down's......

Sairento staggered back up to his feet but was then caught in a Tilt-A-Whirl headscissors himself that was quickly transitoned into the Flame Haze (Crucifix Armbar)....luckily for Sairento Tian Long was on hand to boot the boots to Zodiac, and force the Junior Tag champion to release the hold.

Long then disabled Zodiac with an eye poke, before planting 'Innovation's God' with a chokeslam, before Incognito followed up with a corkscrew slingshot splash for a two count. Incognito then looked to plant Zodiac with the Incognito Driver (Snapmare Driver) but Zodiac managed to block the attempt and then countered with a Beetle Suplex (Tiger Suplex) for a two count.

Zodiac then whipped Incognito into the corner and combined with Talisman, to deliver the 'Poetry Motion' corner leg lariat, and then combined on a missile drop-kick assited double team suplex with Prime Dragon for another two count......

Zodiac then set Incognito up for the Zodiac Sniper, but Incognito managed to hold off the attempt, before Sairento then charged back out of the corner and nailed Zodiac with a Yazuza Kick to reverse the momentum into a sunset flip for Incognito......

Talisman was able to come in and make the save.....soon enough all six men were in the ring, but it was The Guardians who took advantage sending all three of the Kuro team to the floor with spinning head-scissors take-downs and drop-kicks. But when they all went for a trio of dives, all the Kuro team had recovered to get up on the apron and block their dives.....

Kuro then dragged their dazed opponents out to the floor, where Tian Long choke-slammed Talisman onto the ring-steps....... Sairento delivered a Death Note (Spike Brainbuster) to Prime Dragon on the apron and Incognito planted Zodiac onto a chair with an Incognito Driver (Snapmare Driver)......

The Kuro trio then climbed back into the ring, celebrating in full confidence that they had done enough to earn the count-out victory over The Guardians.....

But Talisman managed to drag himself back into the ring- but he was immediately set upon with a three on one stomping by the frustrated Kuro trio- who then took turns to try and pin 'the Second Coming' but Talisman showed his fighting spirit to continually kick out.

Sairento was particularly getting frustrated that had not put Talisman away and with his customary 'throat slash' gesture signalled that is was time of 'finish' the youngster off. But the Silent Reaper had telegraphed the Absolute Terror (Front Knee Strike to the face) and Talisman was able to manouevre out of the way and then stun Sairento with an overhead kick before snapping off a spinning head-scissors on the stunned Sairento that he immediately transitioned into the God Knows crucifix pin.

One.....

Two......

Thr.......

Sairento powered out of the pin attempt, and then hoisted Talisman upon his shoulders , before planting 'The Second Coming' with a Death Valley Driver, that was then folowed up with a moonsault from Incognito and then a Senton Bomb from Tian Long......

One......

Two.....

Thr.....

Both Zodiac and Prime Dragon came into make the save, but both were quickly dispatched out to the floor by the Kuro trio and Talisman still remained in grave danger. IMPERIOUS then set Talisman up for the Imperial Combo (Spinning Heel Kick/Backdrop suplex combination) but as Incognito set up for the spinning heel kick, Zodiac intervened and Whispered countered into Stereo Beetle Suplexes!

Talisman the legal man however was too weakened to hold onto this pin attempt, and then both Talisman and Zodiac were nailed with Yakuza kicks from Sairento, only for Sairento to then be stunned with a spinning wheel kick from Prime Dragon, who then followed up with a palm strike and the Prime Driver 2000 (Wrist Clutch Belly to Back Piledriver).....

But referee Sugimura waved off the pin attempt, saying that Dragon was not the legal man....the Guardians leader argued about this, to only then be nailed with the Bala De Dios (Flying Spinning Heel Kick) from Incognito.....

Incognito then lifted Prime Dragon up for the Incognito Driver, but 'the Grand Pillar' managed to hold his ground- and soon got support from Talisman to try and take Incognito with a double team snap suplex, but then Tian Long came in on the other side of Talisman, and attempt to reverse the suplex momentum the other way, soon all six men were involved....

Soh Terajima then tried to sneak into the ring to give Kuro a man advantage....but S.H.I.P's Shintaro Hideki was still in pursuit of him, and after Terajima went scampering from the ring after almost eating another superkick from Hideki....the Guardians won the snap suplex battle, sending all three of the opposition flat onto their backs.

The Guardians trio building up momentum, then nailed Kuro with a trio of drop-kicks, that sent the Kuro trio staggering out to the floor, and unlike earlier this time The Guardians, managed to wipe out their opponents with a trio of dives. In a mirror of earlier- Prime Dragon drilled Sairento with a Prime Driver (Over The Shoulder Belly to Back Piledriver), Talisman planted Tian Long with a facebuster onto the ring-steps, and Zodiac drilled Incognito with the Zodiac Sniper X (Front Flip Piledriver).......

Zodiac then pitched Incognito back into the ring and went for the cover......

One......

Two......

Thr......

Somehow Sairento had managed to shake off being drilled by Prime Dragon's Prime Driver and made the save, before nailing Zodiac with the Absolute Terror (Front Knee Strike To The Face)......

But referee Sugimura still recognised Sairento was not the legal man, and sent him back to his corner, before applying a double count to Incognito and Zodiac who were now both laid out on the canvas......

Incognito was back up first at 8, but then Zodiac managed to struggle back up to his feet before being counted out......Incognito then sent Zodiac back down to the canvas with a spinning heel-kick and with his own corrner still 'miles' away, he decided to head up top.....

Only to be sent crashing back into the ring with a hurracanrana from Talisman. Zodiac got his fellow Junior Tag champ, legally tagged back into the match...... Talisman then headed up top and came crashing down upon Incognito with the Golden Idol (Shooting Star Press).......

One........

Two........

Thr.........

Tian Long made the save, but was then intercepted by a recovered Zodiac who tied the veteran up into the Twelve Signs (Crossface Cloverleaf Combo)....Sairento then entered the ring again but was intercepted by Prime Dragon, who took the Kuro Leader down with a drop toe hold and then applied the Dragon's Bite (Inverted Facelock Sleeper)......

Talisman then headed up top again, but Sairento broke free of the Dragon's Bite, and then cut 'The Second Coming' off from taking flight....a recovered Incognito then broke Zodiac's hold on Tian Long........

Sairento then sent Talisman crashing back into the ring with an Avalanche Death Valley Driver....before Incognito then came crashing down upon Talisman with the Susurro De La Muerte (630 Senton).............

One......

Two.....

Thr.....

Prime Dragon made the save, and then stunned Incognito with a palm strike, only to then be nailed with a lariat from behind by Sairento who then scooped a dazed Dragon upon his shoulders and delivered Ryuk's Apple (Cuthroat Inverted Death Valley Driver)...at this point Sugimura who was doing well up until this stage to keep on top of who was the legal man was quickly losing control on who was legal and who wasn't and decided to count the pin......

One......

Two.......

Thr.......

Zodiac broke up the pin in spectacular fashion with Another Universe (Springboard 450 Splash).......

Sairento sat right back up in his customary eerie fashion though, and nailed 'Innovations God' with a Yazuka Kick....but Zodiac showed his own incredible resillience by shaking it off and then taking down Sairento with a spinning headscissors that he quickly transitioned into the Escaflowne (Crucifix Bomb Pin)..........

Sairento kicked out but was then stunned with an Enziguri from a recovered Talisman......before the champions then combined to take out 'the Silent Reaper' with Steins Gate (Wheelbarrow dropped into a Double Knee Facebuster).......

One......

Two......

Thr.......

Tian Long came in to make the save, but was quickly dispatched to the floor by Prime Dragon....

Incognito then sneaked back in and nailed Talisman from behind, before planting 'The Second Coming' with an Incognito Driver (Snapmare Driver).....'El Pesadilla Hermosa' then attempted to do the same to Zodiac, but 'Innovation's God' blocked the attempt, and then planted Incognito with the Card of Doom (Cross Legged Sitout Scoop Slam Piledriver).........

One.......

Two.....

Three.......

Neither Sairento nor Tian Long were able to recover/break back into the ring to make the save.....the trio of Guardian's champions had emerged victorious after a thrilling Junior Division six man tag that showcased DIASPORA at it's very best.

Result: Prime Dragon, Zodiac [w] & Talisman vs Sairento, Tian Long & Incognito [L] in 26:42 via pinfall (Card of Doom)

Rating: 84

Takayuki Balls: I'm actually left quite speechless, at just how good a main event that was....everyone brought their A-Game to this one, resulting in a fantastic main event.

Post match the triumphant champion Guardians trio of Prime Dragon and Whispered are celebrating in the ring- when the Udon Noodle Killers, Sairento and Tian Long jump them from behind......

But then the 'cavalry' arrives in the form of Hyotaru Ichigawa and Taheji Ebisawa- The Guardians fire back and in the end the show ends with The Guardians and Kuro engaged in a mass brawl. Most intriguing of all though, is that Eikichi Minamoto did not come out help the rest of The Guardians battle back against Kuro. Soon enough they are fighting amongst the fans- who are lapping up the fact that they get to see some intense physical action up close.

Rating: 75

_____________________________________________________

Overall: 78

Takyuki's Final Verdict: This show started fairly slowly but built towards a fantastic finish. Even with the fans crapping on the cowardly count-out finish in the Hideki-Terajima match, this still ended up as one of our strongest shows yet.

Result: Taheji Ebisawa [w] bt Meido Machine [L] in 6:11 via pinfall (Ebisawa Complex)

Sorry, sorry, running late again. Did I miss anything?

Result: HUSTLE Umiro [w] bt Hunter Wolfe [L] in 5:53 via pinfall (Out-Hustled)

You are finding more and more creative ways to add gratuitous fan service to the diary.:)

Result: Hiroto Nori [w] bt Yachi Kotara [L] in 3:51 via pinfall (Endless Nori)

Go Nori! I'm also glad no Mio this week. We don't want her overexposed.

Result: Dark Wolf II [w] bt Kohei Hidaka in 8:41 via pinfall (Wolf's Call)

Dark Wolf has easily passed that gate.

Result: Shintaro Hideki bt Soh Terajima in 5:37 via countout.

Disappointing, but my expectations for the feud are low. They just got lower. Boo!

Result: Kotei Yamato [w] bt Blood Spider Jr [L] in 10:18 via pinfall (End Game)

Terajima then went to swing at Yamato with the Black Box, only to get it kicked out of his hand by Shintaro Hideki- those two then brawled into the crowd with Hideki doing most of the ass -whooping.

Not sure why we bother to have this when Soh already ran away from Hideki in a match that counted for something for him. Just five minutes ago, in fact.

Result: Hiro Date & Oda Yamawaki [w] bt Koto Arato & Go Takashi [L] in 14:41 via pinfall (Tokyo Tower)

A filler defense, it's true. But mostly because Takashi was there doing his spiriting spirit thing. I'm still a fan of Super Porky Arato and he looked strong here.

Go Takashi: I may have lost tonight, but I will only grow stronger from this defeat

What doesn't kill me...HURTS.

Result: Hyotaru Ichigawa & Eikichi Minamoto [w] bt GUSHIKEN [L] & Chojiro Ono in 12:30 via submission (Akira Takano Tea Club Special)

Interesting angle and good to see the next title shot set up like this. The rivalry without the intense hatred will contrast with some of the other feuds.

Result: Prime Dragon, Zodiac [w] & Talisman vs Sairento, Tian Long & Incognito [L] in 26:42 via pinfall (Card of Doom)

You need a finisher called "Bloody Card".

Soh Terajima then tried to sneak into the ring to give Kuro a man advantage....but S.H.I.P's Shintaro Hideki was still in pursuit of him

And a third time. I really want Soh to use one of these appearances to lure in Hideki for an ambush or something because him being pathetic is getting boring.

Somehow Sairento had managed to shake off being drilled by Prime Dragon's Prime Driver and made the save

So is it true Sairento wears a mask because it helps hide the fact that he can't sell?:)

Really fun to see Talisman looking like he belongs on this group. He's been on good behavior and really putting on a show in the ring, I think the writing has done a good job reflecting this. I'm going to have to grow out of my 'Talisman is the job guy in this group' thinking.

Good stuff.

But then the 'cavalry' arrives in the form of Hyotaru Ichigawa and Taheji Ebisawa

Big plans for Ebisawa, putting him in this company.

The day after the show in Nagoya, I was summoned to a meeting by Prime Dragon, Zodiac was also there.....

Their body language had a 'concerned' quality about it, as I entered the room....sure I couldn't actually see their faces but I could just tell they weren't all that happy and here was me thinking the last show was a good one...so why was I getting this feeling the boss was about to rip into me over something......

'First off Kunomasu-san, well done on putting together another good show last night'

OK so far, so good- what the hell was I worrying about.....

'But there is certainly still room to improve, and we need to improve fast if we are ever going to challenge UPJ head on'

Fair enough, but this is something I knew already and thus far this just seemed like the standard pep talk, to make 'standards don't drop' and not to rest on our laurels......Stuff that basically made Dragon-san feel important and useful as an owner by telling me this.

But then Zodiac gave me a piece of paper- it was a print off, of some website's review of the show......

'Read it- especially the bits I have taken good care to highlight'

Result: Shintaro Hideki bt Soh Terajima in 5:37 via countout.

Disappointing, but my expectations for the feud are low. They just got lower. Boo!

Terajima then went to swing at Yamato with the Black Box, only to get it kicked out of his hand by Shintaro Hideki- those two then brawled into the crowd with Hideki doing most of the ass -whooping.

And a third time. I really want Soh to use one of these appearances to lure in Hideki for an ambush or something because him being pathetic is getting boring.

Ok so some smark, isn't particularly a fan of the Hideki-Terajima feud.

'Oh do not dismiss those as the opinion's of just some smark that is not worth taking notice of....Miko Kubota is highly respected- for she is a wise sage'

So now I was having to take notice of someone who doesn't even work for DIASPORA?'

'Miko's opinion's can help make or break our shows, and if she spots something that isn't to her liking....many will follow her wise words'

So this Miko say's something and then the fans following what she says like a herd of sheep?

'Do not simplify it into only that context, even before Miko posted up her review, we could tell the fans are already becoming a bit tired of this feud'

Dragon then chimed in again

'The fans are accepting of the fact that the heels do play by the rules throughout the match, but taking a loss by count-out- cheapens the product in their eyes....we are after all still a serious wrestling company'

'Yes please keep that in mind Kunomasu-san, it's good to have creative idea's but it's clear that this idea isn't quite working......it just seems like something Vince would come up with.'

Vince?

'Oh do you not know Vince...he's actually one of your creations'

A creation of mine?

'From Extreme Puroresu Revenge'

Surely they didn't mean the egomaniac who owned WWE?

'No the other one, the one who keeps getting hired by convincing promotions he has great idea's and then fired after they realise his idea's are useless- in the latest version of the EPR 2010- he's with that TNA promotion- the boss is some clueless woman, who hasn't realised Vince is hopeless.'

Of course that guy- I really didn't want to be replicating that guy- basically that Vince is who the CPU's rubbish and random booking practices were based on- and when a player would play as the TNA promotion, they would have to clean up after his mess.

Dragon-san and Zodiac-san comparing the Hideki-Terajima feud to a 'Vince' idea had certainly got the message through to me, that I needed to get this one wrapped up or just put it on the backburner.

DIASPORA- Pro Wrestling Festival: Title matches announced!

DIASPORA will present one of it's 'Big 3' Pay Per View events on Sunday 26th February, DIASPORA-Pro Wrestling Festival at the Shinjuku Sports Complex in Tokyo. It has been revealed to us that the DIASPORA championship comittee have already decided on the challengers for each of the championships to be defended at the show.

Eikichi Minamoto's challenge for Hyotaru Ichigawa's Heavyweight Championship, has been accepted by the championship comittee and has been confirmed as one of the main event matches at DIASPORA-Pro Wrestling Festival.

The All Asia Tag Team Championship see's a rematch between Tokyo Wrecking Crew and Udon Noodle Killers. Last time out at Neon Genesis Evolution, their title match ended in a double countout draw, but this time with No DQ and No countout rules in place- this time it is assured someone will emerge as the winner.

Whispered (Zodiac & Talisman) won the Junior Tag Team Championship in a three way match at Neon Genesis Evolution. After succesfully defending the titles against the previous champions New Solution, they will defend the titles at Pro Wrestling Festival against the other team involved in that match IMPERIOUS (Tian Long & Incognito).

Finally, following their memorably brutal No Rope, No DQ match at Bunkyo Hall- both Sairento and Hiroto Nori have been rewarded with a shot at Prime Dragon's Super Junior Championship- with the match being defended in a double elimination match- where the champion will emerge as the first to get a fall (be it by pinfall, submission or knockout) on both of their opponents. It wil be interesting to see how Prime Dragon will react to this latest development, that will see him defend the Super Junior Championship in his toughest challenge yet.

Sairento & Dark Wolf II vs Prime Dragon & Eikichi Minamoto

You've built up Dark Wolf II, but he's still the only guy here who isn't contending for a major title.

GUSHIKEN & Tian Long vs Hiroto Nori & Oda Yamawaki

I think Nori needs the win the most for his upcoming title match.

Non Title: Hyotaru Ichigawa vs Horiuchi Inokuma

Squash.

Chojiro Ono & Incognito vs Shintaro Hideki & Hiro Date

I'll take Kuro to win here because Ono hasn't really gotten many wins lately and I expect them to go 1-1 on these tags with SHIP.

Koto Arato vs Kan Mitsubishi

Squash.

Taheji Ebisawa, Zodiac & Talisman vs Meido Machine, HUSTLE Umiro & ???

I'm curious as to who's the mystery man, but I don't think they'll be enough to warrant going over the guardian trio.

Blood Spider Jr & Soh Terajima vs Kohei Hidaka & Yachi Kotara

Squash.

Kotei Yamato vs Xtinction

Squash.

Go Takashi vs Shiki Hirasi

Sairento & Dark Wolf II vs Prime Dragon & Eikichi Minamoto

Dark Wolf has been solid so far but he´s still the weak link here.

GUSHIKEN & Tian Long vs Hiroto Nori & Oda Yamawaki

I agree with Tiberious4 with these two tag matches going 1-1 and I kind of agree about Nori too but I just feel that the Kuro pair here is much stronger than in second match and with Long needing to be strong I go with Kuro getting a tainted win.

Non Title: Hyotaru Ichigawa vs Horiuchi Inokuma

Squash

Chojiro Ono & Incognito vs Shintaro Hideki & Hiro Date

I just don´t have much faith on One and Incognito has huge ego so I would rather have him lose here.

Koto Arato vs Kan Mitsubishi

Arato gets a somewhat easy win here over Guardian jobber boy.

Taheji Ebisawa, Zodiac & Talisman vs Meido Machine, HUSTLE Umiro & ???

Ebisawa could eat the pin here but unless the mystery man is a big name I don´t see why comedy pairing should go over current Junior Tag champs.

Blood Spider Jr & Soh Terajima vs Kohei Hidaka & Yachi Kotara

Kuro jobbers are still above common jobbers.

Kotei Yamato vs Xtinction

Maybe not a squash but I will be shocked if Yamato loses.

Go Takashi vs Shiki Hirasi

Takashi is the one who is getting pushed.

They are way too kind.:o

Sairento & Dark Wolf II vs Prime Dragon & Eikichi Minamoto

I think it's human nature to want to see your own people succeed. Dark Wolf II is the booker's new signing and it's nice to see him succeeding. That said, he's definitely the weak link here.

GUSHIKEN & Tian Long vs Hiroto Nori & Oda Yamawaki

This is a tough choice to make. Long is Mr. Protected. But Mio, er, I want to see Nori staying strong. I'll go with Gushi and Long, with Sairento's team losing next and Nori losing here it's even. I'm also wondering if Sairento or Nori are going to be involved in the others matches to keep pushing the 'I don't care, I just hate the guy' vibe.

Non Title: Hyotaru Ichigawa vs Horiuchi Inokuma

Ditto with the others. Squash.

Chojiro Ono & Incognito vs Shintaro Hideki & Hiro Date

SHIP gets the win back.

Koto Arato vs Kan Mitsubishi

Sushi match, but I'm happy to see Super Porky winning.

Taheji Ebisawa, Zodiac & Talisman vs Meido Machine, HUSTLE Umiro & ???

I just can't see the comedy team winning this. To me that means the big unveiling is going to be a comedy character. Curry Man or Danshoku Dino.

Blood Spider Jr & Soh Terajima vs Kohei Hidaka & Yachi Kotara

The Kuro team is clearly a step above. Just one step, though.

Kotei Yamato vs Xtinction

And the role of Xtinction this week is played by?

Go Takashi vs Shiki Hirasi

Takashi's fighting spirit gets to win for once.

Full Metal Panic! Tour - Show 14

Tuesday 14th February 2012,

Miyagi Athletic Complex, Tohoku (1,826)

Match 0: Go Takashi vs Shiki Hirasi

This match saw most of the action take place on the mat with various hold/counterhold exchanges. Hiraisi looked to be the one to make the breakthrough when he got Takashi snared in the Ankle-Lock but Nippon Hart managed to fight his way out of it and moments later had Hirasi locked in the Dollars (Inverted Cloverleaf) to force the tap out.

Result: Go Takashi [w] bt Shiki Hirasi [L] in 6:30 via submission (Dollars)

Rating: 37

Takayuki Balls: Some good technical exchanges in this match, but it lacked fire and the crowd had little interest in the contest.

Main Show

Xtinction sneak attacks Yamato on the entrance ramp to get an early advantage and almost nabs a shocking early victory when he plants 'Pin Point' with the X.L.E (Tilt-A-Whirl DDT) for a two count. Xtinction then headed up top but lost his footing and fell into a tree of woe position that Yamato took immediate advantage of with a basement drop-kick.

That put Yamato in control, who then dominated for the next few minutes, getting a two count with a German Suplex before setting Xtinction up for the Gurren Driver (Scoop Slam Piledriver) but 'Everybody's Shadow' managed to slip out of it, and countered with an inverted DDT.

Xtinction then went up for X Marks The Spot (Standing Corkscrew Shooting Star Press) but Yamato got the knees up and then trapped Xtinction in the Knightmare Frame (Bridging Cobra Clutch)...... Xtinction couldn't find anyway out and was forced to tap away.

Result: Kotei Yamato [w] bt Xtinction [L] in 7:41 via submission (Knightmare Frame)

Rating: 58

Takayuki Balls: Xtinction once again had his customary botch, but his opponents often do such a good job of going with the flow, that they just feel part of the match. This turned out to be a decent opening contest, with the tease of an upset but Yamato ultimately coming out looking strong.

Hidaka and Kotara are certainly not what you called crows favourites, but they play the de-facto faces here against the much maligned Kuro duo of Blood Spider and Terajima.

The Kuro-Nadeshiko 'Salty Delinquents' took an early advantage by getting in a couple of cheap-shots before the bell, and were able to isolate Hidaka in their corner. But 'Red-Dog' battled back and took both of the Kuro pair down with a Flying Crossbody before getting the tag to Yachi Kotara.

Kotara got a close two count on Terajima with the North Lights Suplex but Blood Spider Jr was able to break that up. Blood Spider Jr then tried to go for the Poison Mist on Kotara but soon found himself planted by Hidaka with the Bite and Bark (Diving Bulldog).

Kotara then slapped the Bend of Will (Bow and Arrow Hold) on Blood Spider Jr but a recovered Terajima sneaked back in and nailed Kotara with a Black Box Shot, and was then able to block Hidaka before planting 'Red Dog' with the Eastern Misery (Forward Russian Legsweep).

Blood Spider Jr then nailed Kotara with Poison Mist (Asian Mist followed with a High Kick to the head) to secure the win for 'the Delinquents'.

Result: Blood Spider Jr [w] & Soh Terajima bt Kohei Hidaka & Yachi Kotara [L] in 9:05 via pinfall (Poison Mist)

Rating: 45

Takayuki Balls: This was never going to be a classic, and with two heel teams up against one another, even if one was playing the de-facto faces here....the crowds support of this match was always going to be mild at best.

The Guardians trio came out first and then came out MOE! MONEY! who were then followed up the entrance ramp by their tag partner.......

Hunter Wolfe in a Sailor Fuku?!!

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_HunterWolfe_alt1.jpg

The Guardians trio start cracking up at this ridiculous sight and Wolfe looks far from comfortable in the unflattering get-up, the announce team are intrigued to know how MOE! MONEY! made Wolfe agree to such an embarrasing situation.

Wolfe gets introduced as 'Fuku Machine', as the bizarre trio then proceed to do a horrendous mis-timed version of an 'idol' dance routine, that leads to them arguing amongst themselves....

http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQMwQuegavo5MpeCKxKVmthbw1D14EDuOsfxA96edDhToApgZ2V

Hunter Wolfe, I mean erm 'Fuku Machine' would only look like the above, if the paying customer had drank way too much sake.

Soon enough Whispered and Ebisawa have enough of the 'comedy routine' and just send all three of their opponents out to the floor with stereo drop-kicks and a clothesline.

Whispered hit stereo dives to the floor, whilst Ebisawa brawls with the Sailor-Fuku attired Hunter Wolfe.

When things settle down 'Sailor Wolfe' finds himself isolated in the Guardians trio corner, but with the encouragement of his tag partners who chant 'Fuku Machine!' from the apron- Hunter Wolfe- well Fuku Machine manages to fight his way out of trouble hitting consecutive X-Ploder suplexes on Zodiac and Talisman, then nailing Ebisawa with the Hunting Strike (Discus Elbow Smash)......

'Fuku Machine' get the tag into HUSTLE Umiro, who heads up top and lands the Hustle To The Top (Diving Elbow Drop) on Ebisawa but Whispered are able to break it up......

That leads to a six man melee, that the MOE! MONEY! trio emerge from with the advantage after taking their opponents over with trio snap suplexes.

FUKU?!!

Meido Machine then locks the Nyan-Lock (Key Lock) on to Talisman. It looks as though 'the World's Most Dangerous Otaku' might just force Talisman to tap out and cause a major upset but Zodiac is able to save his tag partner.

Zodiac then took down Meido Machine with the Escaflowne (Tilt-A-Whirl Crucifix Bomb pin)....but that was broken up by 'Fuku Machine' who then planted Zodiac with the Redemption Bomb (Sitout Powerbomb).......

Ebisawa was able to make the save and sent 'Fuku Machine' flying out of the ring with a spear, but was then planted with the Out-Hustled (Legsweep DDT) by Hustle Umiro.

Talisman then made the save for The Guardians trio, and then planted HUSTLE with a Beetle Suplex (Tiger Suplex) for a two count, before heading up top and landing the Golden Idol (Shooting Star Press)

Meido Machine was able to make the last ditch save, but then ate a clothesline from a recovered Ebisawa, who then planted 'the World's Most Dangerous Otaku' with the Ebisawa Complex (Swinging Side Slam Backbreaker).......

It then looked as though 'Fuku Machine' was about to come back into the ring to make the save, but suddenly it dawns on him that he has been forced to wrestle in a Sailor Fuku and he clothesline's HUSTLE Umiro out on the floor, before heading up the entrance ramp to ensure that no one can save Meido eating the pin for the count of three.

Result: Taheji Ebisawa [w], Zodiac & Talisman bt Meido Machine [L], HUSTLE Umiro & 'Fuku Machine' in 11:56 via pinfall (Ebisawa Complex)

Rating: 66

Takayuki Balls: And MOE! MONEY!'s comedy just gets more and more bizarre and this time somehow Hunter Wolfe has been dragged into it....this really would have had some of the fans shaking their heads in despair. But saying that once the actual wrestling part of the match got going, the action was pretty good and there was a tease of an upset from the comedic trio- due to them trying their best (until Wolfe realises he's been forced into being comedy fodder) and the Guardians trio perhaps not taking them all that seriously until the very end.

_____________________________________________________________________

This one just starts out as a straight up no frills brawl, it's not that these two really hate each other, but 'brawling' is their default fight style and that actually seems to suit Mitsubishi who more than holds his own against the former heavyweight champion.

Arato may have more strength and power but Mitsubishi seemed really fired up and had Arato on the back foot with his fiery energy. Eventually Arato seems to shell shocked that he actually bails out of the ring to re-group just as Mitsubishi is about to land a Power Punch.

Mitsubishi remains in control however with a flying double axe handle off the apron, and then pitches Arato back into the ring before going for a Brainbuster- but that was foolish on Mitsubishi's part and the considerably bigger Arato manages to block and then plants Mitsubishi with a front suplex, before connecting with an Arato-Lariat but Mitsubishi shows great fighting spirit by shaking it off and then stunning Arato with a Power Punch (Right Hook Punch).....

But 'Fist of Granite' collapses immediately right back down to the canvas and referee Sugimura applies a double ten count. They both manage to beat the count and Mitsubishi goes for the Power Punch again but this time Arato blocks it and then levels 'Fist of Granite' with another Arato-Lariat.

'Strong Dreamer' then steps it up a few gears, planting Mitsubishi with a German suplex before floating into the Dreamland (Rear Naked Choke).....Referee Sugimura see's that Mitsubishi has no energy left and calls for the bell.

Result: Koto Arato [w] bt Kan Mitsubishi [L] in 7:51 via submission (Dreamland)

Rating: 62

Takayuki Balls: This was considerably better than anyone would have expected it to be. For sure, the match was just basic brawling for the most part but Mitsubishi looked motivated and fired up out there, and Arato did a decent job of selling his lowly ranked opponents offence to at least make the match look competitive.

The S.H.I.P pair started the brighter but Ono got a cheap shot in on Hideki from the apron, when 'Integral Prowess' was lining up for a Superkick on Incognito. That put the Kuro pair in control but Hideki showed plenty of fighting spirit by kicking out of a powerbomb assisted senton from the Kuro pair and then was able to manoeuvre his way out of a Tsunami (Big Splash) from Ono, before connecting with a Superkick on the big man.

Hideki was then able to fight off the attentions of Incognito to get the tag into a fired up Hiro Date. Date barged Incognito out of the ring and then hit a basement drop-kick on Ono, before applying the Date with Pain (Elevated Boston Crab).....

Ono managed to power his way out of the hold, but then got take down with a chop block from Date and ate a basement drop-kick to the face. Luckily for 'Epic Tsunami' Incognito was able to come in and make the save. Date took down Incognito with a shoulder tackle but was then levelled with a clothesline from behind by Ono who then planted Date with the Okinawa Battle Bomb (Spinning Powerbomb).....

It looked to be all over right there, but Hideki was able to come in and make the last ditch save. Hideki then nailed Ono with an Enziguri before connecting with a Superkick and then following up with the Shiranui (Backflip Inverted DDT).......

Incognito was able to make the last ditch save but an Incognito Driver (Snapmare Driver) attempt was blocked and Hideki countered into an STO.

It was at that point though that Soh Terajima unfortunately made his prescence felt hopping up onto the apron, waving his Black Box.....Hideki couldn't help but take the bait and went to connect with a Superkick to Terajima.....

Only to then be stunned with a Spinning heel kick from Incognito, 'El Pesadilla Hermosa' then planted Hideki with the Incognito Driver (Snapmare Driver). Date was able to make the save but was soon sent out of the ring by Ono, as Incognito headed up top...where he was able to land the Susurro De La Muerte (630 senton) on the still dazed Hideki and that proved to be enough for the Kuro duo to emerge with the victory.

Result: Chojiro Ono & Incognito [w] bt Hiro Date & Shintaro Hideki [L] in 11:35 via pinfall (Susurro De La Muerte)

Rating: 69

Takayuki Balls: Yeah I know we saw way too much of the Hideki-Terajima feud on the last show, but the inteference this time was just subtle enough to keep it going....it's like for all the time's Terajima has had a Black Box superkicked into the face, he is the one getting under the skin of Hideki and in the end it cost the S.H.I.P pair the match. Away from that the action in this match was pretty solid and more than serviceable for a midcard contest.

Post Match Comments:

Chojiro Ono: At Pro Wrestling Festival the UNK are taking the Tag straps from the so called Tokyo Wrecking Crew, we'll be the one's doing the wrecking....wrecking those fools that is.

Incognito: And let it be said that Hideki-san saw fore-warning of his impending doom....for IMPERIOUS shall rule once again.

__________________________________________________________

They begin with a basic collar and elbow tie-up and then quickly progress to some mat wrestling exchanges, with Inokuma holding his own....it ends in a stand off and Ichigawa applauds his opponent for 'hanging' with him.

Inokuama thinks Ichigawa is 'mocking' him though and he charges at Ichigawa aggressively and gets taken down with a drop toe hold. 'White Light' then went to apply a crossface but Inokuma quickly made the ropes.

Inokuma then got the first strike in after the rope-break and then sent Ichigawa on the back-foot with a flurry of fore-arms only for the heavyweight champion to fire right back with the Decapitator (Running Bicycle Kick)......

'Learning Lion' showed great fighting spirit by kicking out at two, but he remained in trouble and Ichigawa set up for the Dragon Suplex, but Inokuma managed to fight his way out of it and then force a standing switch before planting Ichigawa with a High Angle Belly to Back Suplex.......

That get's a two count for Inokuma, but 'Learning Lion' is unable to follow up, as Ichigawa bails out of the foor to regroup. Inokuma is keen to keep the pressure on though and gives chase, only for the heavyweight champion to nail Inokuma with another Decapitator (Running Bicycle Kick) out on the floor.

Ichigawa rolls into the ring and waits for referee Sugmiura to make the twenty 'floor' count. Inokuma begins to stir however and Ichigawa meets 'Learning Lion' out on the apron and proceeds to try and bring Inokuma in the 'hard' way with suplex but Inokuma blocks the attempt and ends up reversing the suplex, sending himself and Ichigawa crashing off the apron to the floor!

Referee Sugimura starts a double count but both are able to dust themselves off and get back into the ring.......

Ichigawa and Inokuma then wearily exchanged chops and fore-arms..... Inokuma then side-stepped another Decapitator from 'White Light' and shook Ichigawa with a clothesline before planting the Heavyweight Champion with the Kamikochi Suplex (Northern Lights Suplex)......

Ichigawa manages to kick out at two, but then gets caught in the Python Vise (Anaconda Vise) but 'White Light' manages to somehow battle his way out of the hold and all of a sudden has Inokuma caught in the Crucifix Arm Bar.......

Inokuma tries to get to the ropes but Ichigawa is unrelentless in his application of the submission and manages to pull Inokuma further away from the ropes. But it is clear Inokuma is determined to prove himself in the match and despite being in agonizing pain, 'Learning Lion' somehow manges to summon up the fortitude to drag himself and Ichigawa over to the ropes to force the rope-break.

Inokuma then blocked a Chugoku Spike (Cradle Piledriver) attempt from Ichigawa and then rocked 'White Light' with a jawbreaker and then followed that up by drilling Ichigawa with a brainbuster.

Inokuma was clearly favouring his arm, and the subsequent cover on Ichigawa was a weak one but 'Learning Lion' managed to stay in control and he was able to plant a weary Ichigawa with the Sea-Change (Swinging Side Slam)......

If Inokuma was able to hook the leg tighter on the pin, we would have seen one of the biggest up-sets in DIASPORA history. Inokuma still think that can happen and goes to deliver another Sea-Change but this time his arm gives way and he is unable to execute the manouevre.......

Ichigawa manages to spin Inokuma round apply a Full Nelson and then plant 'Learning Lion' with the Dragon Suplex.......

Ichigawa got the win was to be expected in his non title contest, but the young lion Inokuma gave the Heavyweight Champion a much sterner test than he would have been expecting.

Result: Hyotaru Ichigawa [w] bt Hirouchi Inokuma [L] in 14:42 via pinfall (Chugoku Spike)

Rating: 82

Takayuki Balls: I'm sure alot of people would have had this down as a flat out squash in favour of Ichigawa-san but despite losing the match Inokuma-san really got put over in this match by the Heavyweight Champion, who convincingly sold the young lion's offence. The younger contingent in the heavyweight division are no where near ready to carry it yet, but the more they get to show their actual potential/talent in matches like this, the better likelihood of them being able to develop as performers.

Hyotaru Ichigawa: Inokuma-san came at me today with alot of fire, and perhaps I was not as prepared for that as I should have been. Every match in DIASPORA can be a competitive one and I must always be prepared for that champion. I will admit I was lucky to escape being on the wrong end of an upset tonight.

Hirouchi Inokuma: I don't really care that people are going to praise me for a brave effort, I don't really want their praise, I don't need 'praise' for losing a match. I need to be taking things to the next level. Some will ask, what's the hurry, you're still young and I'd say it's better to start forging my legacy whilst I'm still young. I'm not here in DIASPORA to be an also-ran, I'm here to make my mark and I plan to start making my mark sooner, rather than later.

_____________________________________________________________

After an even back and forth start, the S.H.I.P made the first real break through with Yamawaki planting Long with a Tilt-A-Whirl Backbreaker before Nori followed up with a diving double stomp for a two count.

Nori then tried to pick up momentum off the ropes, GUSHIKEN got in a cheap shot from the apron and Long was able to turn things round with a knee into Nori's mid-section followed by a DDT for a two count.

The Kuro pair then worked Nori over in their corner but the S.H.I.P leader showed great fighting spirit by kicking out of a GUSHIKEN Driver (Samoan Driver) and then was able to get the knees up when Tian Long went for a moonsault. Nori then nailed Long with the Endless Nori kick flurry before looking to get the tag to a fired up Yamawaki only to find that the All Asia Tag champion had been knocked off the apron by GUSHIKEN.

'Great Thunder' then set Nori up for a GUSHIKEN Firebomb 02 (Elevated Powerbomb) but Nori managed to shake off the attempt and countered into a victory roll before nailing GUSHIKEN with a basement drop-kick. Nori with a burst of fighting spirit then sent Tian Long off the apron with another drop-kick and then rather than tag into Yamawaki decided to head up top with GUSHIKEN still down.....

'Great Thunder' however returned to his feet, but just as it looked like Nori had made a mistake, 'Battle' nailed GUSHIKEN with a missile drop-kick and then mustered up enough energy to get the tag to Yamawaki, who perced up on the the top turnbuckle and then nailed GUSHIKEN with the Fearless (Flying Clothesline)......

GUSHIKEN kicked out a two and Yamawaki headed up top again, accept this time Tian Long got a cheap shot in from the apron.....allowing for GUSHIKEN to recover......'Great Thunder' was then able scoop Yamawaki upon his shoulders and send 'Fearless' crashing back into the ring with an avalanche GUSHIKEN Driver (Samoan Driver)

Yamawaki managed to show great fighting spirit though by kickng out at two. Tian Long then came crashing down upon Yamawaki with the Corkscrew From Heaven (Corkscrew Senton Bomb)....that looked to earn the Kuro pair the win put Nori was able to make the save.

Nori rocked the Kuro duo with a pair of drop-kicks, before planting Tian Long with a reverse STO and then sending GUSHIKEN dizzy with a Tilt-A-Whirl before transitioning into the Yakisoba (Tilt-A-Whirl Cross Armbreaker)........

Tian Long wasn't neutralised enough however earlier, and 'IMPERIAL was able to make the save and then plant Nori with a Dragon Suplex. 'Battle' managed to kick out at two, but was then planted with the Emperor Driver (Sitout Side Driver).....

That looked as though Long was going to score a big pin over one of the next challengers for the Super Junior Championship but Yamawaki was able to come in and make the save, only to then be nailed with a GUSHIKEN Smash (Charging Elbow Smash) before following up with the GUSHIKEN Firebomb (Thunder Fire Powerbomb) to secure the win and send a 'message' to the All Asia Tag champion at the same time.

Result: GUSHIKEN [w] & Tian Long bt Hiroto Nori & Oda Yamawaki in 18:18 via pinfall (GUSHIKEN Firebomb)

Rating: 71

Takayuki Balls: This ended up being a solid, rather than great semi main event and I guess the crowd were still recovering from the surprisingly great match before it.

Post Match Comments:

Tian Long: It makes me laugh that Nori-san should also get a shot at the Junior Championship, alongside our great leader Sairento, I feel I would be more deserving of a shot.....but I know my target and place for now and that is to reclaim the Junior Tag belts.

GUSHIKEN: Kuro-Nadeshiko are back on the path of domination and our domination will be realised, when after Pro Wrestling Festival will have all the belts bar the Heavyweight Championship.......And even after then, I'm sure I have what it takes to take that belt off whatever Guardians loser out of Ichigawa-san or that idiot Minamoto-san is holding it at the time.

The Kuro duo try to jump The Guardians early, but Dragon and Minamoto are ready for the sneak attack and are the one's on the front foot in the early going. Minamoto manages to catch Dark Wolf II upon his shoulder and plants 'the Howling Menace' with the Gurugu Mawaru (Airplane Spin Samona Drop)......Sairento is able to make the save however but gets nailed with a dropkick from Prime Dragon.....

The Kuro pair then bail to the floor and go for a powder, but Dragon heads up to the top turbuckle and wipes them out with a moonsault press. The Super Junior Champion then pitches Dark Wolf II back into the ring and plants 'the Howling Menace' with a Brainbuster for a two count, before going for the Dragonsault (Springboard Moonsault) only to get nailed with a Yakuza Kick on the apron that turns Prime Dragon inside out.

Dragon ends up taking quite a 'nasty' looking bump on the apron and falls out to the floor. Minamoto comes into the ring, but is taken down with a drop toe hold from Dark Wolf II and Sairento follows up with a basement drop-kick to the face for a two count.

Sairento then takes over with a vicious Kuro-Stomp (Surfboard Curb Stomp) to Minamoto as Dragon continues to be a non factor out on the floor. The Silent Reaper then locks 'Rumble Heart' into the Silence (Pentagram Choke) but Minamoto somehow manages to muster up enough energy to battle his way to the ropes.......

'Rumble Heart' however looks a spent force and is trapped on the wrong side of the ring, it only looks a matter of when not if the Kuro pair can put him away at the point. Sairento turns it back over to Dark Wolf II, who gets a couple of stomps in on Minamoto, before heading up top to then come crashing down upon 'Rumble Heart' with the Wolf's Rain (Diving Elbow Drop).....

Incredibly Minamoto manages to muster up the energy to kick out......

Sairento wants to end this now, and after making his customary throat slash gesture comes steaming towads Minamoto with the Absolute Terror (Front Knee Strike To The Face) but Minamoto manages to block it and then counters with a spinebuster! Dark Wolf II is back in and Minamoto delivers another spinebuster before collapsing to the mat.

Prime Dragon has recovered and is there to make the tag, but Dark Wolf II manages to get up off his feet before Minamoto and prevents 'Rumble Heart' from making the tag..........

But Minamoto manages to shrug off the attentions of 'the Howling Menace' and gets the tag to Prime Dragon. 'The Grand Pillar' stuns Dark Wolf II with a palm strike and then nails Sairento with a rolling wheel kick. Prime Dragon turns his attention back to 'the Howling Menace' and nails Dark Wolf II with a dropkick, before following up with a Prime Driver (Over The Shoulder Belly to Back Piledriver).....

Sairento is able to dive across to make the save. Prime Dragon then squares up to Sairento but is clipped from behind with a chop block from Dark Wolf II. The Kuro pair then combine with a Yakuza Kick/German Suplex combo.......

That gets a two count but most of all firmly puts Kuro back in the drivers seat, Sairento and Dark Wolf II then whip Prime Dragon into the corner before delivering consecutive facewashes. They then decide to taunt Minamoto to try and make the tag.....with Sairento holding up a dazed Prime Dragon with a surfboard before delivering a Kuro-Stomp.....

Sairento then goes for a cover, but 'the Grand Pillar' shows the fighting spirit of a champion by kicking out. Sairento looks frustated over that, but remains in control by stomping away on Dragon, before hauling the Super Junior Champion upon his shoulders.

But Dragon counter with a crucifix bomb and then stuns Sairento with a Palm Strike....Dragon then avoids a reactionary Yazuka Kick from 'the Silent Reaper' and nails the Kuro leader with a rolling wheel kick...before getting the tag to a fired up Eikichi Minamoto.

'Rumble Heart' then nails Sairento with one of Hyotaru Ichigawa's signature moves the Decapitator (Running Bicycle Kick) something that doesn't go un-noticed by the announce team. Minamoto does not feel that's enough to keep Sairento down, and follows up by planting 'the Silent Reaper' with the Harima DDT (Double Underhook DDT).......

Prime Dragon dives back in to make the save but is quickly sent back out to the floor and Sairento turns his attention back to Minamoto....but 'Rumble Heart' comes alive and rocks Sairento with a clothesline before scooping the Kuro leader upon his shoulders to deliver Gurugu Mawaru (Airplane Spin Samoan Drop)......

That leads to both men being sprawled on the mat looking to make the tag out.....Sairento gets there first and Dark Wolf II prevents Minamoto from making the tag before going for the Wolf's Call (Sliding Lariat Pin) but 'Rumble Heart manages to block that.......

Dark Wolf II comes at Minamoto again, but 'Rumble Heart' gets back to his feet and then catches Dark Wolf II with the Akira Takano Tea Club Special (Tilt-A-Whirl Headscissors Armbar).....

Sairento comes in to make the save, but is intercepted by Dragon who traps 'Silent Reaper' in the Dragon's Bite (Inverted Facelock Sleeper).......

With Sairento neutralised, Dark Wolf II will need to find a way out of Minamoto's deadly new submission himself, but he can't find a way out and see's no other choice but to tap out! As the Guardians duo deny Kuro-Nadeshiko a clean sweep of victories on the show.

Result: Prime Dragon & Eikichi Minamoto [w] bt Sairento & Dark Wolf II [L] in 21:24 via submission (Akira Takano Tea Club Special)

Rating: 80

Takayuki Balls: Show ended well with a pretty strong main event.....in terms of an in-ring action perspective all four men have been involved in better matches but the crowd were really into this one, fully behind the Guardians duo- especially as the heel Kuro faction were heading towards a clean sweep on the show. The fans were certainly pleased to be sent home happy with Kuro denied their chance to gloat.

Post Match Comments:

Prime Dragon: So the powers that be here in DIASPORA see it fit to give me not one but two challengers for my Super Junior title at Pro Wrestling Festival. Now someone would complain about that, but not me...I see that as a compliment, a compliment to just how strong a champion I am and it's challenge I will head on.

Eikichi Minamoto: Ichigawa-san, don't get me wrong I've actually got great respect for you, that Decapitator I nailed Sairento with, wasn't to mock you....it's me showing respect to you, by using one of your moves so effectively. But make one thing clear, I am no longer prepared to play second fiddle to you, I want to be heavyweight champion, I want to be heavyweight champion as much as Harima loves Tenma, in fact I want to to be heavyweight champion more than Harima loves Tenma and unlike Harima....nothing will get in my way of realising that!

Takayuki's Final Verdict: Considering this was something of a thrown together, 'see what sticks' B-Market type of show, this ended up being pretty solid from top to bottom and ends up including perhaps the 'sleeper' match of the year thus far with the non title match between Hyotaru Ichigawa and Hirouchi Inokuma.

What you just clicked on there, will be the theme tune to our awesome and yes it will be awesome TV Show!!

Yes you read right, we finally got someone to agree to put us on TV! Don't get too excited just yet, the first broadcast won't be until March so still another few weeks away yet.

Admittedly it's not quite the channel we wanted, but it will have to do for now...because being on Japanese Sports Vision 3 is better than plodding along without any TV exposure what so ever. Well we could plod along like we are now, but I don't think Dragon-san would be fully satisfied with that, because he wants to be able to surpass the UPJ not play permanet second fiddle to them. It'll be a long war, one where we will have to be patient but hopefully one day we will he able to well and truly put one over on the Fatsumoto's.

We have managed to negotiate a 90 minute slot for early evening's on a Friday. Hopefully if we can prove the show is doing well for it's timeslot we can move to better timeslot or perhaps try to negotiate more time for the show. But let's not get carried away here, the main thing is we have TV.

DIASPORA- 'Effective Line' as the show will be called, should help begin that road towards taking DIASPORA to that next level and to become genuine competition for UPJ.

Result: Go Takashi [w] bt Shiki Hirasi [L] in 6:30 via submission (Dollars)

I'm here on time for once! Not that I would have missed much. Takashi with the predictable win.

Hey, cool, I get a special back stage visit? I thought I'd be banned after my comments last time. And why do I need a mask?

Match 1: Kotei Yamato vs Xtinction

Wait a minute...

Xtinction sneak attacks Yamato on the entrance ramp to get an early advantage

More like a half blind Miko gets tossed through the curtains on Yamato. You really can't see a thing in those masks. It's impressive what some wrestlers can do with selling. I've seen wrestlers make plush teddy bears look overpowering. I'm sure I looked at least as dangerous as a stuffed panda or something.

Xtinction once again had his(?) customary botch,

Hey, I've not done gymnastics since I was 13, give me a break.

Result: Kotei Yamato [w] bt Xtinction [L] in 7:41 via submission (Knightmare Frame)

I think I sprained my everything. Ow.

Result: Blood Spider Jr [w] & Soh Terajima bt Kohei Hidaka & Yachi Kotara [L] in 9:05 via pinfall (Poison Mist)

This was about as much as we could expect from these teams. Soh and Blo get a valuable win before their inevitable future jobbing.

Result: Taheji Ebisawa [w], Zodiac & Talisman bt Meido Machine [L], HUSTLE Umiro & 'Fuku Machine' in 11:56 via pinfall (Ebisawa Complex)

Utterly silly in a sleazy Japanese indy sort of way. Which is to say it was ten kinds of awesome. Hunter Wolfe was just a placeholder enhancement talent before this. Now he's enhancement talent with personality. Considering the rating the match got, not only are Zodiac and Talisman awesome, but the audience had a sense of humor. I wonder if Fuku Machine is a one time thing.

Result: Koto Arato [w] bt Kan Mitsubishi [L] in 7:51 via submission (Dreamland)

I'm always a fan of Super Porky so it was good to see him get a win, predictable as it was. Decent match as well, good contrast to the comedy of the match before.

Result: Chojiro Ono & Incognito [w] bt Hiro Date & Shintaro Hideki [L] in 11:35 via pinfall (Susurro De La Muerte)

I liked this match. Solid action with a little story and I liked the Soh-Hideki tease. Almost contact but Soh backed off and irritated Hideki enough to give his side an edge. Soh needs to remember, if you can't be tough, you'd better be smart.

Result: Hyotaru Ichigawa [w] bt Hirouchi Inokuma [L] in 14:42 via pinfall (Chugoku Spike)

82? Not bad for a glorified squash. And a nice long write up as well.

Inokuma thinks Ichigawa is 'mocking' him

That was my first thought when I saw Ichigawa applauding, but Ichi probably was serious.

Good write up, Ichigawa was generally kicking butt but Inokuma had his moments and a near fall to heighten the tension a little. Inokuma made Ichigawa just nervous enough that he had to finish the match now before Inokuma got lucky with a move.

Result: GUSHIKEN [w] & Tian Long bt Hiroto Nori & Oda Yamawaki in 18:18 via pinfall (GUSHIKEN Firebomb)

Kind of a let down, really. I'm assuming Yamawaki was the one pinned. At least the match served to give Kuro a chance to gloat. No Mio again, but we don't want her overexposed (no pun intended). I'm sure she'll be back for the title match.

Result: Prime Dragon & Eikichi Minamoto [w] bt Sairento & Dark Wolf II [L] in 21:24 via submission (Akira Takano Tea Club Special)

So for once the best match of the night was third from the top. Interesting. Good back and forth match. No one is surprised to see Dark Wolf II drop the fall, but it's a step up for him to be in the main event with these guys. Slowly but surely his stock is rising. Besides, it's fun to say Howling Menace.

Overall a good card. Definitely a B card but it did the little things needed to keep the various feuds in my mind.
