WWF SUPERSTARS

(B-SHOW)

=============================================

Friday Week 2, October 1994 from the Lee County Civic Center

=============================================

MATCH 1

Doink def. Vampiro

A pretty decent match saw Doink pick up the win with the Stump Puller

MATCH 2

The Headshrinkers def. Well Dunn

The Headshrinkers dominated the match and won with a double headbutt from the top. After the match, Timothy Well and Steven Dunn argued.

MATCH 3

Alundra Blayze def. Mariko Yoshida

Yoshida gave a good account of herself, almost pulling off an upset. Blayze however picked up the win with the bridging suplex.

A video begins playing with various scenes again. This time it cuts off and shows CCTV of the Smoking Gunns and Sunny being filmed backstage. The Gunns leave as Sunny walks towards her locker room. The video then cuts back to the Sun in the sky as a voice can be heard saying "What is mine, I shall reclaim."

MAIN EVENT

Jim Neidhart def. Bob Holly

In a pretty physical and intense match, Neidhart picked up the win with a running shoulder tackle.

***BREAKING NEWS***

Another death last night rocked the wrestling world as John "Earthquake" Tenta passed away. Tenta is probably best known for his feud with Hulk Hogan in the late 80's/Early 90's and for his Tag Team title run as one half of the Natural Disasters with Typhoon.

Monday Week 3, October 1994 from the FleetCenter

=============================================

Vince McMahon: Welcome to Monday Night Raw! What a Main Event we have for you this evening as Randy Savage takes on Owen Hart!

Jim Ross: And let's not forget Vince, the Tag Team titles are on the line as The smoking Gunns take on Adam Bomb & I.R.S.!

Jerry Lawler: We will also see if that coward Bret Hart has anything to say about Dustin Rhodes.

MATCH 1

Jeff Jarrett def. Marty Jannetty

A rematch asked for by Marty Jannetty saw him almost beat Jarrett on 3 occasions. Jarrett however, using every shortcut in the book picked up the victory with a Russian Leg sweep and the Figure Four. Jarrett continued his assault on Jannetty but Doink The Clown came up on the screen!

Doink: Hey Jarrett. Hey... hey Double J! Up here... ohh hehehaha. Jeff that was almost as impressive as your neon hats. Haha. In all seriousness, sometimes I look around the WWF and see people reaching for something out of their reach. Impossible goals like... becoming a singer... or a good wrestler haha. Jarrett you are one of those people, and I want nothing more than what I have coming to me hehehaha. Ooooohahaheha. See you soon!

Vince McMahon: Lets take it backstage where Ray Rougeau is with Shawn Michaels.

Ray Rougeau: Thanks Vince. Shawn, in less than a week from now, you put your belt on the line against Randy Savage. What's going through your head?

Shawn Michaels: What do you mean? Are you implying I should be scared of Savage? No way Mr. Ray... see what I did, that rhymes. Savage I am going to do to you what I did to British Bulldog last week. I'm going to tune up the band, kick your teeth down your throat and leave you laying on your back. After that, I'm going to toss you out of the arena and into the street because your career will be over! At In Your House savage, I rid the WWF of your silly hats, your mad man ramblings and send you home for good. Now I've got some ladies waiting in m locker room who all want a part in the HBK experience so out of my way Mooney.

Ray Rougeau: It's Ray... er... back to you at ringside.

MATCH 2 - Tag Team Title Match

The Smoking Gunns def. Adam Bomb & I.R.S. by DQ to retain

The Smoking Gunns looked good and showed why they are the best tag team in WWF at the moment. Making frequent tags until Adam Bomb low blowed Bart Gunn following the ref being distracted by I.R.S. This prompted Billy to enter the ring and as he did, I.R.S. and Bomb double teamed Bart. They singled Bart out and kept him in their half of the ring, however he eventually made the tag to Billy who opened up on both men! Suddenly The Nation came running out from the back and attacked The Smoking Gunns, causing a disqualification. Adam Bomb and I.R.S. looked annoyed and confronted the Nation, but were also attacked.

MATCH 3

Raven def. 1-2-3 Kid

In a good match, 1-2-3 Kid gained the early momentum however Raven fought back and threw Kid from the ring. As the Kid climbed back oto the apron, Raven hit a baseball slide, knocking Kid back down. Raven then whipped 1-2-3 Kid into the ing post on the outside before rolling him back into the ring. He then hit Kid with not 1, but 2 evenflow DDT's to pick up the pinfall victory. Following the match, Raven ahd The Barbarian and Carl Pierre throw Kid from the ring like he was garbage and sat in the corner with a sinister smile on his face.

Jim Ross: Vince I'm getting word that something is going on backstage.

[backstage the cameras catch Lex Luger and Tatanka arguing]

Tatanka: Hey he had his foot on the rope for leverage. It's not my fault. Where were you?

Lex Luger: It doesn't matter where I was, I thought you could handle it but you let me down, in fact you let everyone down and so now, forget about me calling you for help again. I'll take out Camp Cornette myself. Jut make sure you stay out of my way or you'll get exactly what they do.

Tatanka: You need to calm down and be rational about things. You're losing it completely.

Lex Luger: Stay out of my way, and stay out of my business or you will get hurt.

[Luger walks away as Tatanka looks like he has had enough]

Ray Rougeau: I'm here with Bret "The Hitman" Hart. Bret, last week you were the victim of a cowardly attack by Dustin Rhodes, any thoughts as your match at In Your House draws near?

Bret Hart: You know Ray, I have fought many people in my career, from The British Bulldog to Roddy Piper and let me tell you, I have more respect for them in one finger than I will ever have for Dustin Rhodes. I've been beaten up before, but the guy doing it is usually face to face. Rhodes you crossed the line last wek when you attacked me, and it's no longer business for me, this just became personal. I remember teaming with your dad at the 1990 Survivor series, and he was a class act, you on the other hand are just like my brother Owen, a bitter disappointment! You want to jump people from behind and make a name for yourself as a thug? Go ahead, but at In Your House I am going to show you why I am the best there is, the best there was and the best tehre ever will be.

MATCH 4

The British Bulldog & Razor Ramon def. Crush & Bam Bam Bigelow

The Million Dollar Man and Mr Fuji form a one night alliance as Crush & Bigelow team up. Bulldog and Razor start the match off with the momentum clearly in their favour, hitting some huge impact moves on Crush, before he is able to tag in Bigelow who takes it to Bulldog until Bulldog makes the tag to Razor. "The Bd Guy" unleashes rights and elfts on Bigelow beofre attempting a fall away slam, but he can't get the big man up. Bigelow tags Crush back in who goes after Razor with a flurry of hard strikes. He then throws Ramon into his own corner and tells Bulldog to tag in! Davey Boy obliges and now he and Crush go at one another. The end comes as Bigelow tags himself back in causing confusion for Crush who asks him what he's playing at, this allows Bulldog to recover and hit the running powerslam on Bigelow for the 3 count! Crush jumps off the apron shaking his head and walks to the back with Mr Fuji.

One of the strange videos that has been playing on Superstars begins to play. This time the CCTV is in a gym where Billy Gunn is working out. Alundra Blayze comes up to him and the 2 flirt a bit before Blayze leaves, as Gunn checks her out, Sunny comes up to him. Billy then kisses Sunny tenderly on the cheek as the 2 leave together. The CCTV then skips back to a sun lit beach and a man wearing a hat with his back to the camera can be heard speaking.

Mystery Man: I have clawed and fought for all I have. I have been through the School of Hard Knocks and come out the otherside. I am coming to the WWF to regain what is mine, what was stolen from me. In 6 days, I will have my property back - by hook or by crook!

MAIN EVENT

Randy Savage and Owen Hart go to a No Contest

This match started off at a lightning pace with both men taking to the air on more than one occasion. Owen Hart hit a huge cross body, which Savage rolled through for a 2 count. Owen then rolled Savage up for a 2 count soon afterwards. Shawn Michaels made his way to ringside which distracted Savage, and allowed Owen to hit him with a Piledriver for yet another 2 count. Savage fought back and went to the top for the Elbow Drop, but Jim cornette grabbed the referees attention and shawn Michaels jumped up and puched Savage off the turnbuckle and into the guardrail! This prompted Lex Luger to run down to ringside and hit Michaels from behind before entering the ring and attacking Owen Hart! Michaels jumps into the ring and attacks Luger as Savage (slowly) enters the ring again and attacks Michaels from behind. The referee has lost all control of the match and throws it out. Officilas run down to break the 4 men up.

=============================================

Sunday Week 3, October 1994 from the Carrier Dome

=============================================

Usual Free For All show at the beginning where Todd runs through the card and gives his usual dose of cheesiness!

FREE FOR ALL MATCH

Marty Jannetty def. Tom Pritchard

Jannetty comes out all guns firing! He pretty much dominates Pritchard for the most part, however Pritchard does get in some offence, however "The Dr. of Desire" lands hard on his head and Jannetty covers for the pinfall. EMT's come out and stretcher Pritchard from the ring.

Vince McMahon: Hello and Welcome to the 3rd In Your House Pay-Per-View Event! I'm Vince McMahon, alongside my broadcast partners, Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler. What a show we have tonight.

Jim Ross: That's right Vince, a lot of scores to be settled tonight, like our Main Event where Dustin Rhodes will be challenging for the title against Bret Hart!

Jerry Lawler: And let's not forget, Randy Savages last ever match in the WWF! Shawn Michaels is going to beat him all over the ring, that is a guarantee.

Vince McMahon: Let's kick things off with our first match between Razor Ramon and Bam Bam Bigelow!

MATCH 1

Razor Ramon def. Bam Bam Bigelow

In a brutal hard hitting match, Razor Ramon and Bam Bam Bigelow went at each other like mortal enemies! A stiff shot from Bigelow, busted Razors mouth however that didn't deter the Bad Guy who came back at Bigelow with avengeance. Razor even managed to hit the fallaway slam on the big man to the crowds delight. Ramon was about to set Bigelow up for the Razors Edge when DiBiase jumped up and distracted him. Ramon hit DiBiase with a huge right hand, but it was enough for Bigelow to come back into the match. Razor finally hit Bigelow with the Razors Edge to pick up the pinfall victory. After the match, an exhausted Ramon asked for a mic from ringside.

Razor Ramon: Hey Bigelow. We're done man. You stay out of my business and I won't beat you like a dog. Understand? Our beef is finished. Shawn Michaels, Randy Savage. After tonight one of you will have what I want and believe me I'm coming to get it.

MATCH 2

Jeff Jarrett def. Doink The Clown

Doink was looking leaner and took the match to Jarrett in the early going with some impressive moves however, Jarretts underhanded tactics proved useful and he hit a sneaky low blow on Doink to turn the tide. From this point on it was pretty much all Jarrett. Double J finished the match with the Russian Legsweep before applying the Figure Four to pick up the submission win.

Vince McMahon: Let's go backstage where Lex Luger is standing by with Todd.

Todd: Hi Vince, yes I am here with Lex Luger, and Lex I've got to ask, who is your partner tonight?

Lex Luger: Todd, I have looked everywhere for a partner, and then I realised, Lex Luger doesn't need a partner. I am in peak physical shape and could beat any 2 men in the WWF on my own. There is not a duo who could withstand the raw power I bring to the table. I'm going to go out there, and kick both their Canadian asses all over the ring. However our President in his infinite wisdom has said if I don't get a partner then I have to forfeit the match. Regardless of who decides to show up by my side, I'm going out there to win, not just for me, but every one of the people who like me are sick of having foreigners take our dollars and spit on out flag. Hart and Martel are going to be getting the beating of their lives! I might even put both of them in the Torture Rack at the same time!

Todd: There you have it. A pumped up Lex Luger ready to fight!

MATCH 3 - Tag Team Title Match

Smoking Gunns def. Adam Bomb & I.R.S. to retain

A solid match saw plenty of tags and plenty of underhanded cheap shots from DiBiase's men. Billy looked a little off his game, looking over his shoulder and missing vital chances to tag in. Adam Bomb almost caused the shock of the night when he got a near fall on Billy Gunn midway through. Bomb and I.R.S. then cut off the ring, taunting Bart Gunn whilst beating down on Billy. Billy finally makes the cliche "hot tag" to Bart who cleans house on Bomb and I.R.S. The Gunns pick up the pinfall victory when Bart hits a huge clothesline and leg drop on I.R.S. for the 3 count. As the Smoking Gunns celebrated, another video begins to play on the screen.

Voice: Billy and Bart Gunn. I want my property back. One way or another I am going to get it from you. But first...

A CCTV video begins to play showing Bart Gunn talking with Ted DiBiase in a restaurant! The 2 look to be smiling and joking around .After the "meeting" Bart walks off clutching a small holdall. As the video finishes and we return to the ring, Billy is asking Bart what the hell that was all about with Bart looking guilty and trying to calm him down with Sunny stepping in between the 2 of them.

MATCH 4 - "Ravens Rules"

The Undertaker def. Raven

The match started as any normal match would, with Undertaker throwing Raven about the ring! Taker set up Raven for the Tombstone early on but Raven wriggled out of it then rolled out of the ring. He took a microphone and said these were his rules so rule 1, Undertaker could not use the Tombstone! Raven re-entered the ring and again Undertaker over powered Raven. Again Raven left the ring and said rule 2, he could use weapons - and promptly grabbed a chair. He went to hit Undertaker with it, bit The Deadman ducked it and again began unleashing a flurry of rights and lefts - once more Raven left the ring and stated rule 3 - No DQ's! With that The Barbarian and Carl Pierre enter the ring, but again Undertaker fights them off and then grabs a mic himself and states, Ravens rule #4... Rest in Peace and goes after the twisted genius! Raven somehow manages to get in some offence himself following a low blow on the Undertaker which takes the deadman down to one knee. Raven then dropkicks the Undertaker. Undertaker comes back, however Carl Pierre takes the Undertakers knee out with a lead pipe! Raven then uses a steel chair to beat down the Undertaker, before picking him up and hitting the Evenflow DDT. The Undertaker kicks out and sits up! Raven again hits him hard with the chair, but it doesn't phase the Deadman who stands up. Carl Pierre again tries to interfere but this time Undertaker hits him with a giant chokeslam before hitting a big boot on Barbarian who also attempted a cheap shot. Undertaker stalks Raven and hits him with a chokeslam too for the 3 count. After the match the lights go out and when they return, Undertaker has gone, but the carnage remains lying sprawled in the ring.

Backstage, Lex Luger is talking to someone who is off camera.

Lex Luger: I can do this alone, but Jack Tunney says I have to have a partner. We've been friends for so long I know if anyone will have my back it's you so lets kick some Canadians back across the border. I'll see you out there.

MATCH 5

Lex Luger & Barry Windham def Owen Hart & Rick Martel

Windham turns out to be Lugers partner after a hiatus from the busines. Martel and Windham lock up in the early going with Windham powering through Martel. The Model makes a tag to Owen who uses his speed to get the better of Windham. Barry eventually tags out to Luger who goes after Owen, but Hart tags out to Martel. Luger beats on Martel showing no mercy before turning his attention to Owen Hart on the outside. HArt at this point jumps off the apron and tries to head back up the aisle, however Barry Windham blocks his escape and throws him into the ring where Luger unleashes strike after strike on the "Blackhart". The finish comes when Luger hits Owen with the loaded forearm as Windham hits Martel with a powerbomb. Luger locks in the Torture Rack and Owen taps furiously. Lex refuses to release the hold, but barry Windham manages to persuade him. After the match Luger and Windham shake hands, as Owen and Martel are left nursing the beating they suffered.

Vince McMahon: I'm told Todd has someone backstage with him. Todd who you got?

Todd: Thanks Vince. I'm here with the "American Nightmare" Dustin Rhodes. Dustin, tonight you have somehow earned a title shot, despite only being here a short while. Do you think you deserve to jump to the ehad of the pack?

Dustin Rhodes: What kind of stupid question is that? I didn't jump to the front of anything, I was born a winner, I was born a champion and tonight when I beat Bret Hart, you will see that the time spent here is irrelevant when you're as tough as I am. Who in the WWF deserves it more? Yokozuna? Bret beat him. Owen Hart? Bret beat him twice. Maybe we should get Abe Schwartz out and have him the number 1 contender? No exactly, I am the best thorough bred athlete in this company. I am the "American Nightmare" Dustin Rhodes, your next WWF World Champion!

MATCH 6 - Intercontinental Title vs. Career match

Shawn Michaels def. Randy Savage

Randy Savage started the match out like... well a guy fighting for his career! He hit Shawn with everything but the kitchen sink, however after missing with the big elbow drop, the match turned in Shawns favour and HBK tok advantage hitting a huge splash off the top for a 2 count. Shawn took full control of the match, but too much showboating meant Randy again got the upperhand. He knocked Michaels to the outside and then jumped from the apron with a double axe handle smash. He whipped Shawn into the railings and steel steps before re-entering the ring. Michaels made it back in at the count of 9. Savage then hit another Axe Handle, this time from the second rope before climbing to the top again. Jerry Lawler at this point left the commentary table and jumped up, pushing Savage off the top rope as the referees attention was diverted by Shawn Michaels. As Savage slowly stood up Shawn hit the Sweet Chin Music for the 3 count and the victory. After the match, Jack Tunney came out flanked by some WWF officials.

Jack Tunney: No. We are not going to have the Macho Mans career end on a tainted note. Jerry Lawler, I am relieving you of your commentary duties, so you now have no need to be at ringside. You have 2 minutes to get to the back or you will be suspended without pay! Referee, re-start this match!

MATCH 6 (Restarted)

Randy Savage and Shawn Michaels draw - Double Countout

Savage has had time to recover from the Sweet Chin Music and goes after Shawn with a vengeance. Savage looks set to hit the elbow drop, but Shawn once more gets out of the way and Savage comes crashing down to the mat. Shawn attempts another Sweet Chin music but doesn't fully connect and Savage kicks out. Michaels looks to have had enough, rolls out of the ring and grabs his belt before heading backstage! Savage gives chase and the two brawl in the aisle, neither one realising that the referee was counting. All of a sudden the bell rings and the announcement is made that both men have been counted out! This doesn't deter either one and soon the locker room spills out to break them up, with the crowd chanting "Let them go". Does this mean Savage has to leave?

Vince McMahon: I have had word from Jack Tunney that tomorrow night on Raw, we will have the WWF's decision with regards to Randy Savages status. He didn't win the match...

Jim Ross: But he didn't lose it either Vince. The match will go down as a draw.

Vince McMahon: Well we will find out tomorrow. I can't believe what King tried to do, he'll be paying for his actions no doubt about it.

MAIN EVENT - WWF World Title Match

Bret Hart def. Dustin Rhodes

Dustin Rhodes took a cheap shot at Bret as the Hitman was handing the title to the referee and began beating down on him. He hit Bret with a huge DDT for a 2 count before nailing a leg drop for another 2 count. Bret fought back and soon had Rhodes begging off. Rhodes poked Bret in the eye and again took advantage with a clothesline that turned the Hitman upside down. Rhodes attempted a Boston Crab but Hart rolled through into a leg grapevine, Rhodes grabbed the ropes and Hart was forced to break the hold. Hart stomps on the midsection of Rhodes before drilling him with an axehandle elbow to the sternum. Hart drags Rhodes tot he center of the ring and attempts to lock in the sharpshooter but Rhodes fights back and knocks Hitman down. Dustin hits the reverse DDT (which he is calling Rhode to Nowhere) but Hart kicks out! Dustin argues with the referee and Bret rolls him up for a 2 count. Bret then hits a running lariat and another axehandle elbow drop before applying the Sharpshooter. Rhodes taps out and Hart is declared the winner by submission. Following the match Bret celebrates by the fans as Dustin looks down with anger, anger which he directs at the referee by hitting him with a Rhode to Nowhere!

Love the way you capture mid-90s WWF while mixing in the Crocket boys pretty effortlessly. One of my favorites dynasty's on here right now. Windham as Lugers partner? Love it! Savage vs Shawn? Good god! And Dustin Rhodes as a heel serious main eventer? About damn time.

I have an inkling on who's behind CCTV!

Thanks for the positive comments. I'm glad people are liking it because I wasn't sure if I'd be able to pull off a "normal" diary.

I used Crayons site to do this show but I think in future I will continue with my previous - basic way of laying out the shows.

Highly enjoyable format as far as presentation goes. Maybe save that style for your Pay Per Views? I am sure it was a pain in the ass!

I agree. Saving it for PPV's will make them feel more special. Quick Question: Is the Road to Nowhere the same move as the Curtain Call, or something else?

Yes it's the Curtain Call with a different name.

I think I'll take the idea to use this format for PPV's only like you and Chuck have said. I like the layout, just it took me hours to do that one show when normally I could have written up Raw in an hour.

Any chance of revealing your grades (even show grades)? I always find it tough with this mod to book like its 1994 without having terrible shows. :D

Sure. I'll start adding the grades/ratings to the end of each segment and overall rating of the show. Reason I haven't added the grades previously is that I'm not that into the grades when diary writing (means nothing to me so long as I stay in business for the time I'm writing it lol). :)

Oh and...

Been doing some catching up with this diary and all I can say is you're doing a fantastic job with it, being original while sticking to the mid 90s at the same time. Fabulous!

On a sidenote, those pics you used - I've never ever seen them for download anywhere (and the pics that come with the 1994 mod are quite a clusterf*** tbh >_<). Any chance of uploading them somewhere or do you have a link to a download?

Normally I wouldn't ask, but with this particular mod (well, quite a few RW mods) it's interesting to see how other people are managing. :)

I made them specific for this diary so only have the people on my roster. You can get them from my photobucket account if you want them (you will probably have to rename them when you save them). http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v260/Frontiergfx/WWF%201994%20Diary/

Sweet, thanks for sharing! Btw, I hope for WCW that they're gonna have to pay a ton or two for IRS' contract?

$35,000 a month! I offered $20,000, then upped it to $25,000 because I had plans for him as an eventual IC Champ but I'm not even paying $30,000 a month to Bret Hart, so you can see why I wasn't willing to for Rotunda.

My apologies for those who are reading this diary but this week I haven't had the time to get one together following a family bereavement. I will resume this next weekend but I just didn't want to appear "flakey" to those of you who have taken the time to read and leave feedback on this diary.

Right I know I said I wouldn't have anything until the weekend, but I got some time earlier today so...

MONDAY WK 1 NOVEMBER 1994

Vince McMahon: Welcome everybody to Monday Night Raw! I'm Vin.....

Vince McMahon is cut off by the music of Camp Cornette who make their way out to the ring, flanked by Police Officers. Jim Cornette takes a microphone;

Jim Cornette: Last week that idiot Lex Luger and his pitbull Barry Windham crossed the line. Now Luger, I know you're having some "episodes" lately but a guy as unstable as you shouldn't be allowed into civilised society. You're a ticking time bomb Luger and it's only a matter of time before you go off, and so with the help of Clarence Mason here, I have an injunction against you Luger! It states categorically that you cannot be within 50 feet of any member of this group, and it also states that if you do you will be liable for prosecution!

The Music of Lex Luger comes on as he makes his way down to the ring with Barry Windham and a baseball bat!

Lex Luger: Don't be scared Jim, this is just an equaliser. You claim to have an injunction against me? Did I hear that correctly? Wow... here's what i think of your injunction...

Lex Luger swings the bat at Yokozuna, connecting with the big mans stomach! Barry Windham takes down Crush as the rest of Camp Cornette bail out of the ring. Jim Cornette, with the microphone still in his hand speaks;

Jim Cornette: You stupid sonof... you just made the biggest mistake of your life you dumb jacked up moron! You're going to pay for that! Arrest him! Arrest him now damn it!

The Police Officers re-enter the ring and handcuff both Windham and Luger, however Camp cornette also come back to the ring and assault the 2 handcuffed men before Jack Tunney appears on the Titan Tron.

Jack Tunney: Hold it there before i have you all arrested too. Mr Cornette, your injunctions are no good here as this is the World Wrestling Federation. However I have an idea for Survivor Series. You see in one corner it will be Yokozuna, Crush, Owen hart & Rick Martel and their opponents? Lex Luger, Barry Windham and 2 superstars of their choosing! Now officers, release both Mr Luger and Mr Windham.

Jeff Jarrett vs. Jinsei Shinzaki

Jarrett starts off with some cheap shots to try and get under the skin of the serene and docile Jinsei Shinzaki to no avail. Shinzaki hits a chop that lights Jarrett up before hitting some stiff kicks. Jarrett bails to the outside of the ring. Shinzaki however goes to the top rpe and flies off to the outside on top of Jarrett as the crowd cheer! Jarrett manages to get back into the ring before the 10 where he is once again met with some stiff kicks, this time though Jarrett uses a thumb to the eye to gain the advantage. Jarrett beats Shinzaki up a bit before hiting the Russian Legsweep and applying the figure 4 Leglock for the the submission win.

Winner: Jeff Jarrett

Non Title Match

The Smoking Gunns vs. Adam Bomb & Bam Bam Bigelow

Bam Bam Bigelow started out the match before tagging in Adam Bomb. Frequent tags from DiBiases men kept them fresh as Billy Gunn couldn't get anywhere near his corner to tag in bart Gunn. Adam Bomb hit the Meltdown however before he could get the 3 count the lights in the arena went out! CCTV footage begins to play on the monitor of Sunny in a towel having just stepped out of the shower as Bart Gunn, comes behind her and puts his arm around her! The CCTV stops and a voice comes over the arena;

Mystery Voice: Billy didn't you say Sunny is your girl? Haha. You 2 have something that belongs to me and I want it back...

The lights come back on as Bam Bam Bigelow is shown with a steel chair. He hits both Gunns which causes the referee to call for the disqualification, however Bigelow also then turns the chair on Adam Bomb! Bigelow goes to the outside where he grabs a hold of Sunny and drags her kicking and screaming all the way.

Winner: Smoking Gunns (DQ)

RATING: 71 (C+)

The Cult of Raven make their way out. Raven sits in the corner as Carl Pierre, The Barbarian and Beulah stand around the ring.

Raven: From what I understand, The Undertaker is not here tonight, and so the WWF heirachy have seen fit to place me into a match with Tatanka. A Native American who sports a red line in his hair. Well I'm not going to wrestle anyone who resembles the Red Rooster so Barbarian, you're going to take my place. As for you Undertaker, I know you're at home watching from your "crypt"... or Hillside Residence with pool and sauna, listen carefully. At Survivor Series from what I hear, you still have not put together a team to face my cult of followers. My 4th member is waiting in the wings and will be there at Survivor Series ready to send you to hell.

RATING: 72 (B-)

==========================================================

The Barbarian vs. Tatanka

The Barbarian started out slowly against the Native American who took it to his larger opponent in the early going, however Carl Pierre proved a distraction at ringside, allowing The Barbarian to gain the advantage as Tatanka turned into a big boot having been arguing with Pierre who was on the apron. A big splash from Barbarian for the 2 count before he hit a big lariat on Tatanka followed by a leg drop for another 2 count. Tatanka attempted to fight back, but Barbarian hit the Belly to Belly followed by the Flying Headbutt for the win.

Winner: The Barbarian

RATING: 62 ©

Vince McMahon: Lets head backstage where Todd is standing by with Shawn Michaels.

Todd: Thanks Vince. I'm here today with the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels. and Shawn, you've got to be feeling a bit put out following last weeks announcement.

Shawn Michaels: Put out by what announcement? The one where the WWF allows Randy Savage to remain employed here or the one where I have to defend my Intercontinental Title against 2 men at Survivor Series? Or are you talking about the unveiling of a statue for Sam Houston in Texas that really should have been of The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels, the greatest thing to have come from the lonestar state? It doesn't matter anyway because as far as HBK is concerned Randy Savage will get another beating, Razor Ramon will get another beating, and Shawn Michaels will get another "W" in the history books. Count on it Jack!

RATING: 92 (A)

==========================================================

Owen Hart vs. Razor Ramon

Owen started the match firmly in control of Ramon, however his cockiness got the better of him and he soon became complacent. Razor hit a huge fall away slam that caused Owen to roll out of the ring to the outside. Jim Cornette and Rick Martel helped Owen back to his feet as Razor came out after him. Razor also hit Martel for good measure as Cornette high tailed it away! Back in the ring and Owen took advantage kicking and stomping Razor as he rolled in. Again, Ramon fought back until Shawn Michaels came down to ringside, taunting The Bad Guy. Razor went out of the ring and chased Michaels to the back. The referee called for the bell, counting Razor out and declaring Owen as the winner. Owen celebrated as though he had just won the world title!

Winner: Owen Hart (Count Out)

RATING: 79 (B)

==========================================================

Backstage Razor Ramon is looking for Michaels when he spots him and gives chase, HBK jumps into a waiting car which speeds off. As Razor watches it speed off he is approached by Todd Pettengill.

Todd: Razor, Razor! Can I get some comments on what just happened?

Razor Ramon: Shawn Michaels just made a big mistake man, that's what just happened. Now get out of my way chico.

RATING: 79 (B)

Dustin Rhodes vs. Bret Hart & British Bulldog

Despite his disadvantage, Dustin took the match to Bulldog in the early stages - almost pinning him on 2 occassions, however Rhodes argunig with the fans cost him as Bulldog was able to make the tag to the fresh Bret Hart, who opened up on Dustin with some nasty chops. Rhodes battled back and sent Hart crashing chest first into the turnbuckle before hitting a huge Leg Drop for the 2 count. Bret managed to tag in a well rested Bulldog who then hit a sideslam followed by an elbow for the 2 count. As Bulldog set Rhodes up for the Running Power Slam, Dustin wrigged down and attempted the Rhode to Nowhere, but Bulldog countered that by twisting into a bridging suplex for another near fall. Bret was tagged back in and Rhodes and Hart fought to the outside. Both men made it back in before the 10 count. Rhodes attempted the Rhode to Nowhere on Hart but it was countered by Hart twisting arund and grabbing Rhodes legs, applying the Sharpshooter from out of nowhere for the submission win! Following the match, Rhodes trashed the ringside area, even threatening to punch Jim Ross!

Winner: Bret Hart & British Bulldog

RATING: 75 (B-)

A fine show, enjoyed the read from top to bottom and I too hope everything's fine on your end.

On a sidenote, I plan on starting a private 1994 game - that 78 rating for your flagship show - did you get a note saying it might have hurt your pop?
