Dawn of MMA scenario, November 1997, after 40 shows:

UFC Heavyweight: 265lbs limit Rafael Petruzelli; a regen who beat another Regen (Larry Moore) who had 2 succesful defenses since beating Dan Severn for the title.

UFC Middleweight: 205lbs limit Bas Rutten, first won the lightweight title, when that had a 205lbs limit, was in the inaugaral title fight for the vacant middleweight championship, losing out to Todd Medina, who lost the title to Justin Martin, who then got dominated in a 49-46 title fight.

UFC Lightweight: 185lbs limit Frank Shamrock, the lightweight title, originally had a 205lbs limit, when Bas Rutten won it, in his first defense he lost to Royce Gracie, and then moved up to the newly introduced Middleweight division, Royce however lost the title in his first defense against brother Renzo, who went on to lose to current champ Frank, after defeating Tony Fryklund, and is now set to defend the title against Royce.

I would play as Bellator (and might in the future), but the awful matchmaking by the other promotions makes me stray away from not playing as the UFC.

Agreed. I did a watcher save one time and had to quit because the bookings gave me fits.

As of June 2002:

TFC Heavyweight: Hassan Fezzik (30-1; 0 defenses)

TFC Light Heavyweight: Allen LeFleur (9-0; 0 defenses)

TFC Middleweight: Matthew Dean (37-7; 1 defense)

TFC Welterweight: Agustin Gonzalez (14-4; 1 defense)

TFC Lightweight: Atep of Indonesia (15-2; 0 defenses)

TFC Featherweight: Li-Kong Ho (24-0; 3 defenses)

I've been running this game for 3 and a half years now and Ho is the only fighter to win more than 2 defenses of a title (and only 1 other fighter has even won multiple defenses). Fezzik I poached from Alpha-1 after he lost his title to Armen Sarkisian, and then I worked him into an immediate #1 contender fight before he won my title. LeFleur I took from GAMMA right before he got a title shot with them. Dean was let go by GAMMA after a losing streak, so I picked him up, worked him back in and he won the title from Dwayne Alleyne after Alleyne had to beat Heath Kaladaris, Bill Brown and Damien Walec (created after myself, the only other fighter to have multiple successful title defenses for me) to get there. Gonzalez stunningly won the title away from Datuk Ong Ka Ting, then just as surprisingly kept it against Felix Mattherson Jr. Atep won the title by handing Bud Brockett the first loss of his career (I signed Brockett right after he won GAMMA's title, then worked him into my title). Ho I brought in after nearly a year being unsigned when I brought in my new Featherweight division, also poaching Philip Ziskie from XCC (he was getting expensive anyway) and setting up a superfight for that title. Ho has dominated and is ranked #1 P4P.

Took over for the UFC in Feb. of 2013 (game time), I'm now in Nov. of 2015.

Heavyweight: Roy Nelson

Light Heavyweight: Alexandre Ribeiro

Middleweight: Jake Shields

Welterweight: BJ Penn

Lightweight: Takanori Gomi

Featherweight: Jose Aldo

Bantamweight: Dominick Cruz

Flyweight: John Dodson

Women's Feather: Revelina Berto

Women's Bantam: Ronda Rousey

Women's Fly: Kyra Gracie

Interesting points of note:

Ribeiro is 7-0. Threw him in against Jon Jones when I ran out of serious contenders, and bam...huge upset. He has yet to defend.

Weidman took the title from Anderson Silva, who retired shortly after. Shields took it from Weidman and has held on to it since.

BJ Penn is scheduled to meet GSP for the third time. Both are High International, I expect it to be my biggest fight of all time.

John Dodson is currently suspended for steroids. I opted to not strip his title, and instead of several prospects as well as some of the original flyweights duking it out for the top contender spot for when Dodson returns.

Cyborg was my first and only Women's Featherweight champ until the undefeated Berto took a decision from her.

Rousey still holds the Women's Bantamweight title and is still undefeated. She won her first three defenses of the simulation by armbar before expanding into TKO and decision territory briefly, and has now won her last two by americana.

Kyra Gracie is an undefeated 5-0, with four of her wins coming by submission.
