Went into the editor and was just wondering why all off the fighters "Potential" skill is set to 0. Is this because it'd be unfair to guess what his potential is without acctually seeing it?

 

As far as I know if the potential is set to zero then it becomes random every game.

Pat Curran needs a serious re-do, he has very average striking and mediocre wrestling in the mod, I think he should be much higher considering he recent results

There are a bunch of guys who need updates. It should probably be a board effort really, especially with the tremendous work Tag et al have done on this.

Well along with my huge UK update, I have just suggested certain fighters are due for an update also (Nick Diaz seems horrible in my opinion etc). I just don't have a whole lot of say on who, but as a big Bellator fan I'll try push it

If you guys need any assistance with updating ratings for the fighters or bios I'd love to help out. I've only started playing this game recently (2 months, found it from sherdog and UG forums) but I think I have a solid grasp of how it works. I'd also like to help out with the destiny aspect of the mod if you guys are interested in adjusting that part.

The destiny/potential is at 0 so every game is different IIRC.

Just so you guys know, the TV slot that's meant for 'UFC on FX' to show on FX is actually set to 'UFC on FOX'. When you start a new game, you have contracts with FOX and FX for 'UFC on FOX', and 'UFC on FX' isn't showing on either.

 

It's an easy fix. I just wasn't sure if you had noticed.

If potential is set at zero then it is fairly random (although it takes current stats into consideration.) If you add a value it's the same every time. Potential is more useful for historical mods.

 

As far as stats go, feel free to make suggestions here or if they're lengthy by private message. It's been my experience that balance can get out of whack with too many cooks in the kitchen, but I'm always open to suggestions.

I think there's a lot of fighters that are active in the game that should be retired. Royce Gracie etc. It's not a huge deal it just gets a bit unrealistic when you see Royce Gracie sign with M-1.

I did the painstaking work of bringing my mod up to date as of Henderson vs. Diaz, and I calibrated the UFC roster so that it is on par with its real life counterpart.

Thanks for that, but Choi Mu Bae is set to fight in a new Korean promotion in the coming months so he's not retired yet.

I listed those guys as inactive because that's all I knew about them. Thanks for the info. If the MW roster ends up getting updated the people who play it will probably be the ones supplying most of the info. It's gotta be hard for a few people involved with updating the mod to keep up with nearly 3,000 different fighters.

So I downloaded and installed my Modern Warrior 12 mod and had it working. I went to quick matches and everything was great, had pictures and all. Then I go to start a game save and I notice none of the companies have pictures.. Then I pick a company and there isn't even pics for fighters.. So I go back and try quick match and now there isn't even pictures there! Wtf happened? I even went back to copy and paste the pictures again and still the same thing. Yes, I am running WMMA3 as admin. I don't understand, can anyone help?
