Which one would you guys rather see: '96 WWF or '97 post-Montreal? I'm thinking of picking up a side diary like TFC and Beejus (among others) have recently done.

I refuse to admit Growing Pains is dead even though it's moving at a snail's pace between myself and my brother not having favorable schedules for it to pick up speed.

96 WWF is my vote.

I'd suggest that you just run with whichever idea interests you more. If you have no real preference, I guess I'd say '96 just because I've already read some great post-Montreal diaries in the past.

I would say '96 as there aren't many 96 diaries

PROLOGUE: STRANGER IN A STRANGE LAND

Deep within a dark room, a figure sits upon a throne, his countenance one of control and power, his face hidden by the shadows.

"Bring him..."

A man is brought forward, his wrists bound, flanked by hooded brutes, his attitude-

"THE ARCHITECT DEMANDS TO KNOW THE MEANING OF THIS!"

-annoying.

"You have been found guilty of shoot promos, backstage monkeyshines, and that time in Nevada with the Gibbon and the Yorkshire Terrier."

"LIES! THE ARCHITECT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH ANY OF THOSE THINGS, IT IS A FRAME JOB!"

"SILENCE! You have been an absolute weirdo for the last time! Now..it is time for you to receive your ultimate punishment..."

THE ARCHITECT looks terrified...

Meanwhile...

"Whoa, dude, do you really think that's a good idea? Couldn't that mess with the space-time continuationum?"

"Nonsense, Ion, this has to be safe, *I* made it! FinEATo, be a good boy and get us some snacks, hm?"

"CHEW CHEW!"

The Fishman leaves the room, whistling a happy tune.

"Euan, I really must protest this, we have no clue what this is going to do!"

"Oh pish posh, you naysayers! Watch, we'll be fine!"

BOOP!

"...nobody say anythi-IIIIING!

"EUAN YOU FOOOOOOOOOL!

"NOT RADICAAAAAAAAAL!"

The three science-enthusiasts are sucked into the swirling vortex.

The world...changes.

The door opens, FinEATo trots in with a sheet of cookies and a 'Fish The Cook' apron.

"Chew chew! ...chew? Chew chew?"]

Meanwhile...(again)

THE ARCHITECT struggles against his restraints, terrified as he's shoved forward by the oblivious guards, he stumbles and teeters on the edge of the sudden swirling vortex.

"WAIT! STOP! WHAT IS THIS VORTEX! THE ARCHITECT DOESN'T LIKE IT! THE ARCHITECT WILL BE GOOD! NO! MOMMYYYYYYYY!"

THE ARCHITECT stumbles...and falls down into it as the vortex disappears! The figure removes his hood.

"I want an assistant, Tiny, do you know how hard it is to book a show, scout for talent, AND make sure El Hot Dog's Ketchup-To-Mustard Ratio is JUST so? It's too much for one man! At the very least I need a coffee boy!"

How many dynasties is too many to have running at the same time? I have 2. Is 3 a bit of a stretch?

It depends on the diary and how often you want to update. I actually recommend having two from a writers' standpoint: it keeps you from getting worn out writing a particular story and provides new ideas and inspiration -- I'd say 4 is a stretch, but three should be okay.

In 2010, she wasn't ready for me. 2011 rolled along, and she almost lost her job. In 2012, she was tired, mired in misery.

I'm sure as the years have come and gone, she has grown weary, and I am sure, the memory of our fleeting brush with destiny, four years ago, crossed her troubled mind many times...

and, maybe, this time, a way down south in Dixie, she is prepared to accept her fate, to recoup her faith, and once again believe...

I kind of agree with this, but for me sometimes even running two at once was too much. My SWF diary was the only one that ever had a decent audience and when I was writing my other diary along side it I was always worried that I would kill off my audience for the SWF diary due to lack of updates.

I do agree that having two going at once is a good way of keeping you from being worn out. I always tried to have longer running diaries but I will freely admit at a year or so I would tend to get sick of writing for the same characters and so when I was doing two at once it was always nice to "go somewhere else" and write about the workers in the other promotion.

They said Cliff Wilson was finished. The man they called Dark Angel was washed up, ready to pass the torch to a new generation. There were even rumours that he'd end up as a trainer in the new development federation, Ring of Fury.

All of the smart fans thought Steel Cage Challenge would be his last main event. That Jonathan Faust would lay Dark Angel to rest. But he fought back, and won a heinous battle.

Then we got to World War 7, and the rumours started again. One last day in the sun, surely. One final title shot. But when the match was over, one man was left standing - and it wasn't Edward Cornell. The fans went crazy as Dark Angel won his second 21CW World title.

They still say the end must be near. They still say he can't have long left. They have to be right eventually.

Don't they?

21CW: Even Angels Fall - coming soon.

Looking forward to this -- never seen a non-comedic take on 21CW, which is a shame, because many of their prolific wrestlers would thrive in a dark environment.

Actually, in general, 21CW is a fun promotion to write and read.
