Since the SWF product has Cult Heavy and Comedy Medium, I think this is Gold's entrance music.

Too bad he isn't superbad and Dutch. :D

PERFECT!

That main event was disappointing, did you get a negative chemistry note? You'd think that Keith would be able to carry Hammer to at least a C (seeing as how Hammer isn't the greatest worker in world, great look though). The Awesomeness/High Bumfhole match was a nice surprise. You may have had two of the best matches in Underground history on this episode between that and Gold/Garcia.

I never really bought into the "Retro Gimmick" and felt he was more of a chubby guy who came out, danced around a bit, and then lost to bigger names. Now, Robbie Gold is a totally different case.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> I see him as a Dusty Rhodes-kind of character. He's not as naturally charismatic as Dusty but I get the same feeling in the way they carry themselves & the 'fast-talkin' style. </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> With that in mind, while I love the song, I'm afraid it may make him seem a little to kitschy? Not saying it's 100% a 'no'; just not my first choice. </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Also, yea! To Kurt Laramee, the one he despises most is that of </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><em><strong>Ares</strong></em></span></div></div></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">. It was March 1997 and Danger and Violence Extreme was still in its infancy. The landscape-shifting arrival of Nemesis was still a month away and the company as a whole was desperately attempting to ‘define themselves’ amongst the wrestling masses. “The little hardcore wrestling that won’t”… “Crass and disgusting”… “A slap in the face to the sport” was heard high-and-low when talking about Phil Vilbert’s budding creation. Little did any of us know, years later, this little “wrestling company that couldn’t”… did. They sent the underground wrestling fans into a tizzy & sparked one of the hottest trends in wrestling history. While it was only that, a trend, one that wouldn’t last forever, in its time, it meant everything to DaVE’s diehard fans. </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

One man who was important to DaVE’s cause was Kurt Laramee. The man dubbed as the “King of the Streets” was still relatively new to the company when March of 1997 rolled around. He was a young, hard-nosed, blood-thirsty brawler that truly embodied the hardcore wrestling style bubbling up from the underworld. His brand of unadulterated violence made him quite the polarizing figure at the time; wrestling traditionalists hated him… hardcore wrestling fans loved him. That said, it wasn’t until he stepped into the ring with the mountainous Ares that he really became someone to pay attention to outright.</span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

Ares was a dominating force in DaVE. There were very few who could actually hinder his wrath and, witnessing this, the SWF found it imperative that he would be added to the “Supreme Ranks” in mid April 1997. He had personified the dark cult-like figure that Richard Eisen felt could better be served in an SWF ring; under SWF production. With that in mind, knowing that Richard always gets what he wants, Ares was set to leave DaVE and bring his nightmare to New England. </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

At this time, the SWF was public enemy #1…2…and 3 of DaVE. They defined their anti-mainstream brand around the fact that they hated Richard Eisen and everything his “entertainment company” stood for. Fans would often riot if the company’s name (SWF) was ever muttered during a DaVE event; often bringing on wicked brawls amongst fans in the early days. You were either a DaVE guy… or an SWF guy. That’s as simple as it gets.</span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

When it became known that Ares was leaving DaVE, there was one man, above all, who raised hell over the fact. This was Kurt Laramee. In a shocking twist of events, Laramee went from a relatively generic ‘gangster’ heel, fitting for the 90’s demographic, to that of a fully-approved “voice” for DaVE; at least as it pertains to Ares and the SWF. The very next show after the SWF move was made known, Laramee opened the DaVE show with an emotionally aggressive, profanity-laced, tirade directly at Ares. The DaVE crowd was eating out of his hands for the first time and the stage was already set; far before Ares would even make an appearance. When he DID come out, mostly to accept the challenge, the DaVE fans showered the ‘monster’ with everything they had at their disposal; trash, batteries, beer bottles, etc. There stood two men, on opposite sides of the spectrum, staring at one another as trash flew from every which direction; a vision of DaVE that is still talked about today.</span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

</span></div></div></div></div></div></div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1339.photobucket.com/albums/o702/Supreme_Epic/SWF%20Website/LarameeandAres_zps22cf9e44.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

The match itself was what you would expect. Ares dominated early on; violently steamrolling Laramee at every turn. The DaVE fans grew restless; trash started to fill the arena once again. In the end though, it was the “King of the Streets”, much to the inebriated crowd’s joy, that came away with the shocking win; DDT’ing Ares, outside the ring, within inches of a number of yelling fans, square upon the steel guardrail which was pulled out… propped up… and used as a weapon.</span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

The arena erupted as Kurt Laramee had defeated the ‘monster’.</span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

Fast forward almost a decade later and we find a totally different landscape. DaVE had breathed its last breath and, with that, many of the company’s ‘loyalists’ were forced to find work elsewhere. While several of the names made it to the ‘big leagues’, there was one that shocked many hardcore wrestling fans. Kurt Laramee, the man who once stood up to the exiled Ares, was now standing on Supreme ground. </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

Hardcore fans were irate. Laramee had sold out. </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

That said, despite all the noise, the “King of the Streets” decided to rekindle old infernos in the SWF. It wasn’t a month into his arrival in the “Land of Supreme” that Laramee set his sights on the man they now called Skull DeBones. The bruising brawler wasn’t having it. To him, that was </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><em>Ares</em></span></div></div></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> and Laramee went to great lengths to mutter </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><em>that</em></span></div></div></div></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> name over the one the SWF had given him. In promos, a lot less profane at this point, Laramee attacked the masked big man and vowed to “expose him for the punk that he is”. </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

</span></div></div></div></div></div></div><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://i1339.photobucket.com/albums/o702/Supreme_Epic/SWF%20Website/LarameeandDeBones_zps1a7541a2.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

A match was made for the summer of 2006; “Welcome to the Jungle”. Skull DeBones was coming off a major win over Runaway Train at “Supreme Challenge 26”. Laramee, on the other hand, was already raising hell by claiming he was being “held down” due to his allegiance to DaVE. Knowing this, Laramee was planning to prove he was a force to be reckoned with by defeating Skull DeBones, in his mind, Ares, once again. Only this time, it would be in front of 30,000 people; versus a couple thousand.</span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

Much like their prior match in DaVE, this one started off much the same. Skull DeBones was seemingly too much for the “King of the Streets” at first. Again, like before, the big man was steamrolling Laramee at every turn. It looked like the match may be over within minutes; however, that’s when Kurt’s ‘dirty nature’ would shine through. </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

Hitting Darren Smith from behind with a blatant low blow, Laramee used this new environment of lawlessness in which to inflict as much pain as possible upon his heated rival. In this time, Laramee used chairs (x2), tables, and even a road stop sign to brutally beat the masked big man to the canvas. </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

Just like we saw in DaVE, Laramee DDT’ed the big man; however, this time it was in the ring and onto said stop sign. </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

It looked like history was about to repeat itself.</span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

That was until Skull DeBones kicked out at the last second. The lore of the ‘monster’ was beginning to take shape as the towering masked man showed signs of supernatural ability. Not only did he rise back to his feet, even taking another chair shot when Darren Smith was, once again, knocked down, but DeBones went a step further when he punched another chair out of Laramee’s hands. Seconds later, a “Skull Krusher” brought the match to an end as the SWF NATION counted emphatically with Darren Smith after every dramatic count. </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"> </span></div></div></div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;">

That was an incredible write-up and truly captivating. It only adds further fuel to the already brilliant backstory that you have in this SWF world of yours. I must admit that I have gotten to a stage where I'm so immersed in this world that you have created that it is so vivid and almost seems real.

If I come out with the "same song and dance" every week then people will grow tired of what they're reading/seeing. In turn, their excitement for certain characters and/or storylines will start to wane as well. Something like this, even as small as it is, creates another 'interesting development' for the upcoming SupremeTV broadcast. That's why I love "SWF Classics" as it allows for less-pushed, veteran, wrestlers to get a bit of the spotlight (while also being able to use what I have in the game to create my own sense of SWF history).</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> As for Laramee, he certainly </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>was</em></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> relevant in DaVE. “PRIME TIME” Des Davids vs. Remmy Skye

“KING OF THE STREETS” Kurt Laramee vs. “THE DEMON” Vengeance

I don't care if Vengeance is weak at the moment, he won't lose to Kurt Laramee...

Angry Gilmore vs. Joey Minnesota w/ Vita

Eric Eisen vs. SWF OWNER Rich Money

I like Eric. He has an interesting character. That said, he is nowhere near Rich Money's level.

BONUS QUESTION #1: How long will the match between Angry Gilmore and Joey Minnesota last? (Give the length in whole minutes)

18 Minutes

BONUS QUESTION #2: What will be the stipulation(s) of the main event match between Eric Eisen & Rich Money? (+2 Points Possible)

If Eric wins, he qualifies for the Sin City Gamble match - if Rich Money wins, Eric is kicked of the "Let the Games Begin" card - and is allowed no matches nor appearances during the entire broadcast of the PPV.

Masked Cougar vs. Jay Chord

[standard Singles Match]

Chord is higher on the ladders and doing more so as much as I would love to see him lose, he won´t

“PRIME TIME” Des Davids vs. Remmy Skye

[standard Singles Match]

Nope, this won´t be a big breakout win for Skye either.

“KING OF THE STREETS” Kurt Laramee vs. “THE DEMON” Vengeance

[AN SWF CLASSIC MATCH]

[standard Singles Match]

Vengeance might be lot weaker now but Laramee haven´t been doing much in main shows plus losing to Laremee would likely hurt Vengeances popularity too much to be worth it.

Angry Gilmore vs. Joey Minnesota w/ Vita

[standard Singles Match]

I´m guessing a draw here after allies come to interfere.

Eric Eisen vs. SWF OWNER Rich Money

[stipulation(s) to be named]

Stipulation is sure to stack the deck against Eisen. My guess is simple no DQ rule that would enable Remo and/or Marat to make an interference.

BONUS QUESTION #1: How long will the match between Angry Gilmore and Joey Minnesota last? (Give the length in whole minutes) 20

BONUS QUESTION #2: What will be the stipulation(s) of the main event match between Eric Eisen & Rich Money? (+2 Points Possible) No DQ

BONUS QUESTION #3: Vengeance and Kurt Laramee have "great chemistry as opponents". What will there match grade be? C+

Yeah, I just don´t trust these two putting a great match even with great chemistry, though Vengeances popularity might make it better than what I gave them.

<em>C+.
