I did have a terrible time keeping a project up-and-running. I was always trying to find a 'niche' and, in doing so, went after some projects that had a great underlying culture but couldn't really be a sustainable project (ELITE; I'm looking at you). I would have these 'great ideas', get super invested, and ultimately flame out when the initial excitement wore off. </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Thankfully, the SWF is what really stuck with me (It's the characters; they keep me excited as a writer... even to this day). I was able to surpass, as you said, the stigma that I (rightfully) had generated myself. I couldn't keep one thing in focus very long but, once again, thankfully, a lot of things 'calmed down' for me (myself included). This helped me to look at long-term scenarios versus just short-term 'flashes in the pan'.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> All in all, thank you for your comments. It's wonderful to have done something I've always wanted to accomplish... create a strong SWF project, run for over a year, and now... It helps me visualize their look & then, from there, I evolve them slightly to fit what I'm looking for. With "Straight Up" Casey Valentine, I found myself SO annoyed when watching Bieber's disposition (my wife was watching TMZ). I get he's "cool" to some but man, to me, it's hard not to think of him as a snot-nosed punk. That said, he just looked...felt... acted like the perfect heel in my mind.
