The underlined struck me as a bit of an odd comment, regarding the main event. I'm sure you have been reading diligently but I feel like because of that comment, I feel the need to spell a few things out for yourself and perhaps other readers.

Well as it turns out I haven't been reading so diligently because I somehow managed to miss the entire speech by Prime Dragon and Nori to set up the match. I'll stick with my prediction, but thinking it over I'm a lot less certain about who will win.

I think PD/Nori. Zodiac respects Nori and PD so Talisman's crappy attitude and cheating will get on hbis nerves more, leading to the long awaited blow up.

TWC has more experience together and Go is still in the "get the crap kicked out of him" phase of his career.

Mio Mio's Mochi: Not that I'm some computer geek or anything like that but I noticed when perusing the DIASPORA.com forums, that some fans have started a drinking game in connection to Hideki Shintaro. Apparently every time he attempts a superkick you must have a gulp of beer or a shot of sake. Considering how fond he is of the superkick, there may be an up-spike in cases of liver disease.

Mio's way to hard on Arato. He brings the fat guy quality of a Hashimoto.

DW2 continues to be the designated job guy, at least when Inokuma is busy elsewhere. And Zodiac's contempt for Minamoto continues to show through.

'Kick out, come on Nori-Chan, you have to kick out!' pleaded a desperate Mio Mio (Or else.)

This was the main event and a good match but the real point of this card was setting up for Nori to team with Prime Dragon. Which is a big reason why I think Nolri-PD will win. This is a Diaspora superteam and it's hard to imagine Zodiac and Talisman with their personal differences keeping their titles.

Generic four way with certain people getting their usual stuff in, which was Neko Man taking a nap, Mitsubishi causing the crowd to take a nap with his boring offence and Xtinction 'killing himself' and then reviving after a botched Super Spot X (Shooting Star Press).

Xtinction then 'stole' the win, with an X.L.E on Mitsubishi after the Counting Sheep man thought he had pickled up a rare win following a Power Punch on Neko Man.

Result: Xtinction [w] bt Kan Mitsubishi [L] + Nyan Nyan Neko Man + Yachi Kotara in 6:23 via pinfall (X.L.E)

The 'Grand Pillar' then gave a five minute speech about how he debuted here as a young lion 30 years ago, and made comments about how the competition in wrestling has grown stronger, but that the competition inspires him to keep wrestling and keep striving for the top. He then said that he would have gold back round his waist again by the end of the show, when he wins the Junior Tag Team Championship with Hiroto Nori.

Chi? again stood there like he didn't have a clue what to do, Ebisawa unloaded a few chops but was spooked by the fact that his opponent wasn't even attempt to fight back or dodge his attacks.

Ebisawa then sent Chi? down with a shoulder barge. It was at that point something must have clicked with Chi? that he would need to fire back, so he copied the chops he had received from Ebisawa earlier and shoulder barge.....

To no effect what so ever! Ebisawa then levelled Chi? with a lariat before turning the clueless newcomer over into a Boston Crab, and with Chi? offering little resistance referee Ochida called for the bell.

Mio Mio's Mochi: There are rumours that this Chi? fellow was just found hanging around DIASPORA (Tadashi Saga then made a flippant comment about how that's rather similar to Mio herself).....Oh that's nothing at all like me ! I've always been here to support my Nori-Chan!

Takayuki Balls: Maybe it's not just something in the water in Okinawa, because the Bunkyo-Hall crowd were also surprisingly intrigued by this bizarre squash match.

As expected The Ambassadors Club were on offence for about 80% of the match, and it was a case of when they would win the match, not if. That moment came about six and a half minutes in when Kavidar planted Hidaka with the Oil Money (Overdrive).

Mio Mio's Mochi: I'm not too keen on my Nori-Chan teaming up with some creepy masked man, but if that's what he wants to do, I'll be supporting him all the way to winning a shiny belt that can go round his waist! (Mio clearly has her mind on something else, other than this match).

Takayuki Balls: Exactly as expected- Ambassadors Club win with ease, match was mildy more entertaining than if Counting Sheep were in there.

Tian Long's partner and latest member of the Silver Kings came out wearing a Samurai outfit (which he removed before the match) and was referred to by the commentary team as Wakizashi.

The Silver Kings duo controlled the early going, with Wakizashi getting a close two count following a Dragon Suplex on Dark Wolf II. The Temple pair got back into the match, and managed to isolate Tian Long with the 'Howling Menace' going close himself following a Howling Fury (Slingshot Powerbomb).

Wakizashi was able to make the last ditch save, and regained momentum with a double clothesline. The Silver Kings newcomer then took down the Temple pair with consecutive Exploder Suplexes before Tian Long tagged back in to secure the victory with a Corkscrew From Heaven (Corkscrew Senton).

Mio Mio's Mochi: Someone needs to tell the new guy that the Sengoku period finished over 400 years ago!

Takayuki Balls: Whilst I didn't expect great things from this match, it was still a disappointment. The biggest one to not thank for that, is Inokuma-san who decided he would throw a hissy fit about being on the losing end to the newcomer and decided to 'sandbag' Wakizashi's offence. Now I would put up with Inokuma's attitude if he had earned the respect to protest about jobbing in this match- but fact is he's still a young lion himself. Allied to some lack-lustre performances on this tour, and lack of progression, Inokuma's attitude will do him no favours.

It will come to no one's surprise that Wakizashi was also the 'masked trialist' who worked the pre-show match against Hiro Date in Nagoya. His 'Samurai' gimmick fits in with the Silver-Kings vibe and he certainly has the potential to grow into a solid heavyweight wrestler.

Horiuchi Inokuma and Dark Wolf II, stayed in the ring as the Heavyweight Champion Eikichi Minamoto came out to the customary chorus of jeers. It was of course time for the latest version of the Karen Ichijou Lottery, an apparently random process where Minamoto chooses his latest challenger, though one everyone in Bunkyo Hall suspects to not be random at all.

Minamoto said no matter who he was about to pull out, that his latest challenger would be about as successful as Oji Karasuma finding a personality. Minamoto then got down to the business of choosing his latest challenger and then chuckled loudly before reading out the name.....

Chief Butler Wolfe!

A collective groan can be heard from the Bunkyo Hall crowd, as Minamoto pulled out yet another 'weak' challenger. That didn't stop Wolfe coming out, who came out simply as Hunter Wolfe, rather than Chief Butler Wolfe, in an attempt to show everyone that he meant serious business including Minamoto.

Wolfe charged the ring, eager to get his hands on Minamoto early, only for the champion to see the gaijin powerhouse coming, and step out of the ring. That saw the champion lure Wolfe into a game of wolfe and chickenshit, before Minamoto ending up blindsiding the Ambassadors Club enforcer with a Decapitator (Bicyle Kick).....

Minamoto then worked over the right arm of Wolfe, before deciding to go up to the second rope and go for a knee drop....'Servitude Thunder' managed to move out of the way of that and then connected with a clothesline, but then favoured the arm Minamoto was working over.

With Wolfe unable to build momentum Minamoto regained control with a Hangman's Neckbreaker for a two count, before setting up for the Harima DDT (Double Arm DDT) but Wolfe managed to power out and counter with a back body drop, before catching and then tossing Minamoto half way across the ring with an X-PLODER suplex.

Wolfe then followed up with a corner clothesline, before perching Minamoto onto the top turnbuckle and sending 'Rumble Heart' crashing back in with a High Angle Belly to Back Superplex.

That got Wolfe a close two count, before 'Servitude Thunder' then connected with the Hunting Strike (Discus Elbow Strike), but once again Wolfe favoured the right arm that Minamoto had worked over and a weak cover subsequently cost Wolfe the upset victory there and then.

Wolfe was still in control though, and looked to set up for the Redemption Bomb (Sitout Powerbomb) but Minamoto was able to block and then counter with a Harima DDT (Double Arm DDT).

Wolfe managed to kick out of that, but then staggered into another Decapitator (Running Bicyle Kick) before then falling into the Akira Takano Tea Club Special (Tilt-A-Whirl Headscissors Arm Bar) and like so many others before him Wolfe had no other choice but to tap out or run the risk of having his arm ripped out of it's socket.

Result: Eikichi Minamoto [w] bt Hunter Wolfe [L] in 11:26 via submission (Akira Takano Tea Club Special)

Ratings: 64 for Karen Ichijou Lottery Segment, 66 for the match.

Mio Mio's Mochi: Does this Wolfe guy think ditching the butler outfit for one night, will mean that people are going to take him more seriously?!

Takayuki Balls: As much as Minamoto tried to make the latest Karen Ichijou lottery as entertaining as possible and as much as both Minamoto and Wolfe worked their socks off to have a competitive match, the Bunkyo Hall crowd rejected Wolfe as a challenger. And to be honest who can blame them, after all if GUSHIKEN couldn't get the job done, then why should Wolfe. It's a sign that the K.I Lottery angle has begun to run it's course and that we need to pull the trigger soon on ending this, before the fans get well and truly cheesed off.

The Tuturu! trio were accompanied by another bevy of buxom beauties who then looked to join in with a dance routine, only for the Kuro-Nadeshiko to spoil the fun and jump them before the bell.

Meido Machine got isolated in the Kuro corner, but got out of trouble with the Moe Time Freeze and a Rolling Cutter to Blood Spider Jr. HUSTLE Umiro then got tagged in and cleaned house for a bit with lariats and Fireman Carry Gutbusters to the Salty Deliquents before being blindsided with a Yakuza Kick from RIKU.

HUSTLE then got worked over in the Kuro trio's corner and then looked set to be finished off with a Crusnik Bomb (Inverted Crucifix Powerbomb) from RIKU, but Meido had a chocolate parfait ready to be served up and HUSTLE found the strength to slip off and then incredibly counter with a Samoan Drop, before taking down the Salty Delinquents with double clotheslines.

After the tag was made to Junichi Matsuo, the Tuturu! trio then took complete control, taking down their opponents with a trio of snap suplexes.....

The match began with some even exchanges with New Solution more than holding their own against Kuro's top duo until, Incognito resorted to an eye-rake on Yamato before planting 'Pin Point' with a Tilt-A-Whirl Russian Legsweep for a two count.

That put the Kuro duo in control, but Yamato was able to endure the Kuro-Stomp/Facewash ordeal from Sairento and then a Springboard Corkscrew Senton from Incognito, before both Sairento and Incognito earned close two counts, with a Death Valley Driver and a Tombstone Piledriver.

But the Kuro duo then gave Yamato the opportunity he needed to tag out, after Incognito accidentally nailed Sairento with a Bala De Dios (Flying Spinning Heel Kick). New Solution then seized control the match, sending both Sairento and Incognito in simultaneous trees of woe before delivering stereo drop-kicks to each.

Sairento then suffered stereo superkicks whilst in a seated position but was able to kick out, before being taken down with a spinning leg-sweep/roundhouse. Incognito managed to make the save but then he got taken down with a drop toe hold before receiving a sliding kick to the face for a two count.

New Solution then pulled off the Keiyakusha (Superkick assisted German Suplex) upon Incognito. That should have had the match won for the S.H.I.P duo but referee Sugimura was distracted by the sudden appearance of the Salty Delinquents.

But all they were was the diversion, before RIKU came in and delivered consecutive Yakuza Kicks to New Solution. 'The Virus' then proceeded to toss both Hideki and then Incognito out of the ring.

Kotei Yamato then staggered back up to his feet, where he was then nailed with a rolling elbow from Sairento before being drilled with the Death Note (Spike Brainbuster) and this time Sugimura had no problem keeping his eyes on the match and slapping the mat three times.

Takayuki Balls: The 'get out' clause for a not quite on the same page Sairento-Incognito defeating a cohesive New Solution, was a bit groan worthy and probably took away slightly from what was a very good and competitive contest, with New Solution in particular reminding everyone what a good tag team they are.

The crowd are split 50/50 over whom to support, though seem to have no obvious preference on who they would like to win.

The two S.H.I.P tandems shook hands before the bell rang, continuing the theme of mutual respect that resonated with their respective entrances and began with their 2/3 Falls match at Never Dying Spirit. The difference this time round is that the motivation for competition is the All Asia Tag Team championship.

The match begins with some even exchanges, that gradually become more intense with Go Takashi managing to come out on top of a chop battle with Hiro Date. That exchange helps to put Team Ganbatte in control, and the challengers begin to work over Date in their corner. A Double Team Suplex and then a Samoan Drop (Arato)/Neckbreaker (Takashi) combo brings a series of two counts.

Takashi then tried for a vertical suplex but Hiro Date managed to fight out of it and then suddenly explode into life and counter with an Exploder Suplex. Takashi staggered back to his feet, but only into release belly to belly, before Date tagged in a fresh Oda Yamawaki, who followed up with a Diving Crossbody for a two count.

It was now the champions turn to take control of the match, isolating Takashi in their corner. First off they looked to wear down their plucky stable-mate with a series of combination suplexes...firstly the double team high angle belly to back and then a double team slingshot suplex....

Hiro Date then proceeded to turn Takashi over into the Date With Pain (Elevated Boston Crab), seeing that his partner was in deep trouble Arato came in to make the save, but was cut off by Yamawaki who nailed 'Strong Dreamer' with a drop-kick that sent the former Heavyweight Champion tumbling out of the ring, before following up with a slingshot cross body press.

The pain was etched across Takashi's face, as referee Ochida asked 'Nippon Hart' if he wanted to give up but Takashi was defiant and he somehow managed to block out the pain and summon up the strength to start battling his way to the ropes....Date switched up to a Single Leg Boston Crab, but despite more pressure being applied, Takashi was able to move more freely and make his way to the ropes and earn himself a brief moment of respite.

Despite Takashi's bravery the champions remained in control, and Date looked to be setting up for the Rejection II (Backdrop Suplex) but Takashi managed to fight out of it and then counter with a Belly To Back Suplex. But after that Takashi had nothing left and he was finding it a struggle to make a tag out to Arato yet alone follow up with any offence.

Date got the tag out to Yamawaki, and Takashi found himself back at square one. Yamawaki then planted Takashi with a Falcon Arrow, before quickly tagging Date back in who followed up with a Diving Knee Drop. Date then scooped a dazed Takashi upon his shoulders, as Yamawaki headed up top...the Champions were clearly setting up for their signature Sky Tree (Doomsday Device)....

But Takashi managed to slip off Date's shoulders just as Yamawaki went for the Flying Clothesline, and counter with a Belly to Back Suplex....

Yamwaki then turned round into a Leaping Lariat from Takashi. 'Nippon Hart' continued his rally taking down both of the champions with consecutive Flapjacks before running out of fumes but having finally bought himself time to finally get the tag to a fresh Koto Arato.

'Strong Dreamer' then levelled Yamawaki with an Arato-Lariat, before tossing Hiro Date overhead with a Release Belly to Belly Suplex......Date got back up but then got the wind taken out of him with a Running Hip Attack from Arato, before staggering into another Arato-Lariat.

Yamawaki managed to make the save, but then walked into a Uranage from a still on fire Arato. 'Strong Dreamer' turned his attention back to Hiro Date, planting 'Stampeding Bull' with a Half Nelson Backbreaker.....

Arato then made the tag back to Takashi, who then went up top, as 'Strong Dreamer' set Date in place for a Powerbomb.....

Team Ganbatte then combined on the DEATH BY HONOR (Powerbomb/Flying Neckbreaker combo).....

Yamawaki managed to break ino the ring and made a last ditch save to save the match and the titles for the Tokyo Wrecking Crew. Arato then sent Yamawaki out of the ring, before proceeding to step outside himself, leaving the two legal men to battle it out.

Takashi placed the still dazed Hiro Date upon his shoulders, as he looked to drill 'Stampeding Bull' with the DRRR!! (Wrist Clutch Death Valley Driver) but Date managed to fight out of it and then apply a sleeper before planting Takashi with a Sleeper Suplex....

Arato was trying to get back into the ring but Yamawaki was now the one keeping him on the outside.

Takashi managed to kick out and then started to defiantly unleash some chops but Date managed to absorb them and cut off 'Nippon Hart's' rally with a Headbutt before drilling Takashi with the REJECTION (Fisherman Buster)......

Team Ganbatte gave the Tokyo Wrecking Crew a tough first defence in their second reign as All Asia Tag Champions but in the end the combined experienced of Date and Yamawaki saw off the plucky resilience and power of Takashi and Arato.

Tokyo Wrecking Crew make V1 Defence of the All Asia Tag Team Championship

Mio Mio's Mochi: Sometimes a good beating can improve your feelings of love towards one another. Look sometimes I have to whip my Nori-Chan into shape and look how much of a stronger person Nori-Chan has become and how I love for one another is also stronger than ever (Mio Mio tries to justify female on male domestic violence, when comparing her relationship with Nori to the fact that friends and stable mates from S.H.I.P are fighting one another).

Takayuki Balls: This didn't quite match the intensity or drama of their 2/3 falls match at Never Dying Spirit in May, despite the title's being on the line. If anything that may have taken away from the drama, because virtually everyone in attendance were positive that the TWC would not be dropping them in their first defence. That being said, this was another good match from these two teams, who despite being stable mates, right now are the two best tandems in the Heavyweight tag ranks (though admittedly at the moment that pool isn't particularly deep).

Post Match Comments:

Hiro Date: Tonight we had a hard battle to keep hold of our titles, but we would of not expected anything less from our S.H.I.P brothers.

Oda Yamawaki: Yes Arato-San and Takashi-san did their best tonight, but we showed again why we are the champions and we have no intention of relinquishing our holds on these belts to anyone, even our closest allies.

Go Takashi: Unfortunately right now, my best still isn't good enough, but this defeat will only make me grow stronger. I am determined to taste victory, alongside Arato-san, and I will work harder and harder to achieve that goal.

Koto Arato: Team Ganbatte! came up against a stronger opponent, but we will grow stronger, we have the Power! and we have the Dream! (It should be noted that Koto Arato was holding a bottle of his Umeboshi based sports drink POWER DREAM whilst making his post match comments).

It was now time for the highly anticipated main event, in a rarity the champions came out first.<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ackLeS9Q408" rel="external nofollow"> 'Joint'</a> played out over the speaker and Whispered emerged to a positive reception, the duo remaining popular, despite Talisman's increasingly obnoxious attitude.

Given that this match was set up due to Prime Dragon's 30 Year anniversary it was no surprise to see Hiroto Nori take something of a back seat as the 'Dream Team Duo' emerged together under

After the Bunkyo Hall ring was cleared of the mountain of streamers that followed Prime Dragon's introduction, the match got under way.

Nori and Zodiac start things off, and they engage in some basic chain wrestling that ends in a stale-mate....the crowd desperately want to see Prime Dragon tag in, so Hiroto Nori gives them what they want and tags the 'Grand Pillar' into the match. Zodiac then tags in Talisman.

The cocky youngster gets in Dragon's face and begins to fire off some fore-arm smashes, but the veteran just absorbs them and puts Talisman onto his backside with one Palm Strike. Talisman begs off and looks to tag out to Zodiac, but 'Innovations God' is having none of it and steps down off the apron.

Talisman turns round into a drop-kick from Dragon, before staggering into an Octopus Stretch from 'The Grand Pillar'.....Talisman manages to get to the ropes, but is quickly driven into the 'Dream Team' corner, where Dragon tags in Nori.

The S.H.I.P leader peppers Talisman with kicks in the corner, before planting the 'Second Coming' with a snap suplex out of the corner and then tagging in Dragon, who followed up with a Rolling Senton Splash.

That got a two count, before Dragon applied an inverted STF to Talisman, before Nori followed in with a basement drop-kick ton the face, for another two count. Dragon then whipped Talisman into the corner, before tagging in Nori who followed up with a corner to corner running drop-kick.

Talisman then staggered out of the corner, before being planted with a Reverse STO. Prime Dragon then tagged back in and immediately went for the DRAGONSAULT (Springboard Moonsault)....

But Talisman still had the prescence of mind to get the knees up, winding the 'Grand Pillar' in the process and buying himself time to look to make the tag to Zodiac.

However Dragon was still able to tag out first, and Nori nailed Talisman with a springboard drop-kick....

The momentum sent Talisman out of the ring, and caught up in the moment Nori looked to follow up with an tope con hilo, but he was suddenly stopped in his tracks with an Enziguri from the apron by Zodiac, who then followed up with a slingshot variation of a Diving Front Flip Stunner.

A recovered Talisman then re-appeared and followed up with a Springboard Shooting Star Press....

Nori managed to kick out, the desperate pleas of Mio Mio for him to do so ringing in his ears.

Talisman then whipped Nori hard across the ring, into one of the turnbuckles, before dropping to his knees, for Zodiac to launch off his back and nail Nori with a somersault back elbow poetry in motion.......

Zodiac then whipped Nori back the other way and this time dropped to his knees as Talisman looked to nail 'Battle' with a spinning heel-kick variation, only for the S.H.I.P leader to come alive and counter with a drop-kick out of the corner.

Nori then ducked a double Enziguri attempt from the champions, before taking down both of them with a springboard moonsault press, before tagging out to a fired up Prime Dragon.

'The Grand Pillar' nailed Talisman with a Rolling Wheel Kick, before Zodiac walked into a palm-strike before being drilled with a Brainbuster!

Dragon then turned Zodiac over into the DRAGON'S BITE (Inverted Facelook Sleeper), but before he could truly sink in the submission hold, Talisman made the save, but was quickly sent out of the ring by Hiroto Nori.

The 'Grand Pillar' then lifted the dazed Zodiac back to his feet and looked to be setting up for a PRIME DRIVER (Over The Shoulder Belly to Back Piledriver) but 'Innvovations God' had managed to regain some energy, and was able to slip out, before countering with a Beetle Suplex....

Dragon kicked out, and then regained control with a Rolling Wheel Kick. 'The Grand Pillar' then followed up with a charging palm strike, before perching Zodiac on the top-rope. Dragon then looked to bring Zodiac crashing back in with an Iconoclasm but 'Innovations God' blocked the attempt and then countered with a Missile drop-kick to the back of Prime Dragon's head.

That enabled Zodiac to get the tag to Talisman who then proceeded to take down Dragon with a Spinning Sit Out Sleeper Slam and then followed up with a Spinning Headscissors Facebuster....

Dragon kicked out , but remained in trouble, and Talisman was able to plant Prime Dragon across the top-rope, before Zodiac followed up with a Senton Bomb for a two count.

The Champions then combined again on a spinning leg sweep/springboard drop-kick combo.....

This time Nori made the save, but was quickly pitched out to the floor, before Zodiac followed up to wipe 'Battle' Out with a No Hands Somersaullt Plancha.

Back in the ring Talisman tried for a Standing Shiranui but Prime Dragon was able to block and then suddenly countered with a PRIME DRIVER 2000 (Wrist Clutch Over The Shoulder Belly to Back Piledriver)....

But the 'Grand Pillar' was too worn down to make a cover.....

As both Talisman and Dragon, staggered back to their feet, the 'Grand Pillar' looked to be suddenly getting a second wind, and nailed Talisman with a Rolling Wheel Kick....

Dragon then lifted Talisman up for a Powerbomb!!

But anyone trying a powerbomb Talisman, should make sure that he's been worn down enough, or he will counter that into the.....

HIGURASHI !!! (Counter Front Flip Facebuster)

Hiroto Nori was able to break in and make the last ditch save..... Nori then peppered Talisman with an Endless Nori Kick Flurry, before drilling the 'Second Coming' with a Brainbuster.....

However referee Sugimura, correctly recognised that Nori was not the legal man, which still didn't stop Mio Mio shouting abuse at Sugimura for being incomptent (even though ironically this time he was actually doing his job properly!)

And unfortuately for Prime Dragon, Talisman was able to get the tag out to Zodiac before the 'Grand Pillar' could get to Nori....

Zodiac peppered Dragon with kicks and then reeled in the 'Grand Pillar' for a Zodiac Sniper (Sunset Flip Powerbomb) only for Dragon to counter with a back body drop, and then follow up with a charging palm strike.

That bought Dragon enough time to get the tag to Hiroto Nori who nailed Zodiac with a springboard drop-kick, before ''Battle' followed up with a German Suplex.....

Zodiac managed to kick out but the got peppered with an Endless Nori kick flurry, and after the high kick to the head but 'Innovations God' flat on his back, the S.H.I.P leader headed up top....

But Talisman came across and nailed Nori with a jumping Enziguri from the apron.....

That allowed for Zodiac to recover, but he seemed reluctant to take advantage of the distraction and began to argue with Talisman......In turn that allowed Nori to regain his bearing on the top turnbuckle and then proceed to drill Zodiac with a Tornado DDT.....

Before 'Innovations God' then staggered into a YAKISOBA (Tilt-A-Whirl Cross Arm Breaker).....

Fortunately for Zodiac, Talisman's desire to keep hold of the Junior Tag Team Championships over-rid their latest miscommunicatin and the 'Second Coming' dove across to make the desperation save.....

Talisman was quickly pitched out of the ring, but Zodiac managed to bail to the outside as well to try and recover......

But that didn't stop the Dream Team duo of Hiroto Nori and Prime Dragon, busting out stereo somersault planchas to wipe out the champions!

Dragon then pitched Zodiac back into the ring, and then drilled 'Innovations God' with a Brainbuster, before Hiroto Nori who had climbed up top then came crashing down upon Zodiac with a FLYING BONITO (Sky Twister Press).....

But yet again Talisman was able to make the last ditch save, before sneaking in a low blow on Hiroto Nori.....

An act which to no one's surprise had Mio Mio fuming at the announce table.....

Talisman then took out Prime Dragon with a spin-out side powerbomb.....before combining with a recovered Zodiac to pole-axe Hiroto Nori with a Double team vertical suplex dropped into a cutter.....

Once again Mio Mio's support inspired Nori to keep fighting, but Whispered remained in control and this time Zodiac snapped off a spinning head-scissors before Talisman followed up with a springboard leg-drop.....

Before Zodiac lifted Nori up and drilled 'Battle' into the canvas with the CARD OF DOOM (Cross Legged Sit Out Scoop Slam Piledriver).....

This time Nori needed the assistance of Prime Dragon to make the save, but Whispered remained in control and 'the Grand Pillar' was taken out with stero enziguris from the champions.

Whispered turned their attention back to Hiroto Nori and then combined on......

'You can't give up Nori, think of the glory!' was Mio Mio's desperate plea.....

And Ninety Nine Hundreths....Nori managed to barely get his shoulder up but get it up he did.....

Leaving the champions standing around in astonishment that someone had kicked out of the Steins Gate...

In fact it left them in such a state of shock, that Zodiac and Talisman got into a shoving match with one another, over who was to blame for failing to put Nori away. Having enough Zodiac of Talisman's petulance Zodiac exited the ring and told Talisman to finish Nori off, who was still rooted to the canvas.....

The Second Coming then headed up top.....

PLATINUM IDOL (360 Shooting Star Press).....

But the petty argument with Zodiac had bought Nori, enough time to recover and he was able to get the knees up......

'Battle' then stunned Talisman with a NIGIRI SERVING (Leaping Reverse STO)....

But too worn down to follow up with a cover he simply looked to get the tag out to Prime Dragon, who now fully recovered was chomping at the bit to get back into the match.....

And with Zodiac nowhere to be seen for Talisman to make the tag out to....Nori was able to get the tag out to Dragon first.....

Dragon then nailed Talisman with a palm strike, before drilling the 'Second Coming' with a Brainbuster. The 'Grand Pillar' then followed up with a DRAGONSAULT (Springboard Moonsault) and this time Talisman was unable to get the knees up.....

But Talisman was still determined to hold onto the Junior Tag Team Championship, even though it looked like his partner had just deserted him......

Dragon then whipped the still dazed Talisman into the corner and then followed in with another charging palm strike, before perching the 'Second Coming' on the top turbuckle.....

The 'Grand Pillar' then looked to be setting up for the DRAGON'S FLAME (Moonsault Side Slam).....

But then all of a sudden Zodiac re-appears and to the shock of everyone in attendance....

Blatantly pulls on the top-rope, causing Dragon to become crotched on the top turbuckle.....

'Innovations God' then enters the ring and the stuns the crowd again by busting out the rarely seen.....

Takayuki Balls: A fantastic main event that lived up to expectations, perhaps ever exceeded them. This had it all exciting in-ring action, a hot crowd and superb in-ring story telling with plenty of twists and turns. When Zodiac busts out the once in a blue moon Closed Space as a finisher and someone kicks out of the Steins Gate, that's all you need to know that they were going for aiming for something special on this occasion.

Post Match Comments:

Hiroto Nori: Yeah I'm disappointed myself and Dragon-San weren't able to win the titles, and I feel for Dragon-San that he was unable to have his big moment tonight. I'm not going to question what Zodiac-san did, he's not my problem....he did what he had to do to win. Would have I gone to the same lengths? Perhaps not, but that it's his decision.

Prime Dragon: Zodiac-san? Why? You had a chance to choose the right path, you had a chance to break free from the Temple. Everyone thought you had broken free, but then you came back and shocked not just me but everyone else in the arena tonight with your actions.

However do not think that I am going to give up on winning those titles from you, I will not ask Nori-Chan again, but I will find another partner and together we will step up and end your reign on top!

Zodiac: What is there to question about my actions? I am the Junior Tag Team Champion and I value that very highly. I may not particularly like being in the Temple of Tsukamoto and I may have more in common with others elsewhere on the roster but at the end of the day I am a professional. And my professional head told me to put aside my differences with Talisman-san and do the right thing.

Talisman: I never had any doubt in my mind that Zodiac-san would come back! He knows that he won't have a more brilliant tag team partner than me.

Zodiac: Don't take it that I came back because I like tagging with you or that I'm about to fully emerse myself in being a jerk like yourself of Minamoto-san. At the end of the day, we're an excellent tag team, we keep winning matches and as we keep winning matches together, we continue on as champions!

Talisman: Well I don't appreciate being called a jerk, but I'm pleased that you're still my friend!

Zodiac just shakes his head at that last comment from Talisman, but then looks at the Junior Tag Team Championship belt that he is holding in his hand, and looks satisfied that tagging with this man he considers a jerk, is worth it in the end.

Takayuki's Final Verdict: Whilst I wouldn't go as far as calling this a one match show, it needed that one match to deliver for the show to be considered a success, especially in the key Tokyo area, where nothing but a strong showing will be accepted by the fans.

Though the two matches leading in to the main event were decent and the show was starting to lift from the New Solution vs Kuro Top Guns tag, after a somewhat underwhelming undecard, a blow away main event was still needed. Thankfully Whispered vs Dragon/Nori lived up to the hype and they delivered a genuine MOTYC, to send the demanding Bunkyo Hall fans home satisfied that they had seen a good show from us.

Kasuse in the Spotlight?

After Prime Dragon failed to capture the DIASPORA Junior Tag Team Championship alongside Hiroto Nori, he has turned to a somewhat surprising choice to be his partner, as he makes another challenge for Whispered's belts at the Sendai City Gym on Thursday 12th June.

That surprising choice is Hideaki Kasuse of perennial strugglers The Forgotten.

Kasuse may be a curious choice to many, but Prime Dragon does have shared history with Kasuse, with the pair winning Tag Team gold together, prior to the formation of DIASPORA.

Kasue's career has failed to kick on since they won championship gold together, and his partnership with Kohei Hidaka has not exactly set the world alight.

Dragon and Kasuse will be seen as massive underdogs when they challenge for the titles, given The Forgotten man's lack of recent success but perhaps 'Bitter Pill' will be inspired to raise his game and this opportunity handed to him by Prime Dragon may be the spark he needs to revitalize a flagging career.

Blazing Eye Tour (12th, 16th, 18th July) Preview

DIASPORA will take their Blazing Eye Tour to the following venues: Sendai City Gym (12th July), Sapporo Public Hall (16th July) and Hiroshima Sports Park (18th July).

Continuing the 30 Year anniversary celebration of DIASPORA co founder Prime Dragon, the 'Grand Pillar' will feature in the main event of each show. First up in Sendai, Dragon makes his second attempt at winning the Junior Tag Team Championship, this time delving into his pre DIASPORA history and making the suprising choice of Hideaki Kasuse as his tag team partner.

The Sapporo event see's the return of former Heavyweight Champion Hyotaru Ichigawa, who partners Dragon in the main event, opposite another former Heavyweight Champion in Koto Arato and the man Dragon very nearly became a two time Junior Tag champion alongside, Hiroto Nori.

In Hiroshima, Dragon and Ichigawa pair up in the main event again, this time against the Kuro-Nadeshiko duo of Super Junior Champion Sairento and GUSHIKEN. Also in Hiroshima, Eikichi Minamoto has said that he will put the Heavyweight Championship on the line again in another Karen Ichijou Lottery match- who will be chosen and will they be able to rise to the challenge?

Yay, the lottery is on the way out! I keep comparing Minamoto to WCW Jericho, but WCW Jericho would not work as a main eventer. In one way I can see the point of it, Minamoto can get higher grades from marginal talent than most other wrestlers. Maybe a little of that will rub over on the person he wrestlers. I wonder if anyone has gottne a boost from the lottery. For my part I can't wait to get back to Minamoto-Ichigawa.

Sure he's being professional. But he's not usually cheating. So this is a new development in his team with Talisman. Ultimately I guess the message was if PD/Nori win this, who else could beat them, so they can't win. Besides it would be a distraction from Sairento for Nori.

The mid morning train to Sendai

It was mid morning and we were about to embark the Tohoku Shinkansen to take us up to Sendai, when my phone suddenly went off....

'Big Brother where have you been, why haven't you been to see your Momo Nyan Nyan'

It was her, it was that girl, the girl with the cat speak tic that was trying to find her father.

' You promised you come to see me Big Brother!, Now I'm a rather upset pussycat, very very upset nyan!'

To be honest I did say that I would come to see her the last time I spoke to her, but I completely forgot and had more pressing matters to deal with. I apologized for letting her down, because after all I did promise, even if I did conveniently forget so that I wouldn't have to endure her inane cat speak. If she just dropped the non stop cat speak, she'd be a lot more tolerable, it's cute once, maybe even a couple of times but to do it virtually all the time, it becomes rather grating.

'Well you better make it up to me, and give lots of treats nyan!'

Then there was a pause and suddenly Momo's tone turned from enthusiastic and ditzy to a more reflective and sombre one.

'Have you got any nearer to finding my father yet, I'm positive he's a wrestler and for some reason my heart tells me that he's someone you work closely with'

I gave her a half hearted 'I'm Working On It' , the truth of the matter is that I was pretty sure, at least 75% so, who her father is, it is just that I did not want to push the envelope, in case I upset the proverbial apple cart too much.

Then again I could tell Momo was becoming frustrated about the situation, and I felt somewhat guilty for stringing her along, and though the sombre Momo was more tolerable, it was also more troubling than the over enthusiastic cat speaking girl who convinced herself that I was her now her 'big brother'......

I then got out of the conversation, by saying that the train had turned up and I had to go, and all I could picture in my mind was Momo holding her phone looking dejected over the fact that I hadn't come to see her whilst in Tokyo and the fact that she wasn't any nearer meeting up with the father that walked out on her, when she was still in Kindergarten.

If truth be told, I know that Momo is not a bad person, but she needs to find that middle ground in her personality and perhaps she needs to find her father again in order to do so.

I like how you went back to pre-diary history to set up this match and give Hideaki a chance for some spotlight. Everyone knows he's going to take the fall, but it tells a good story and I think some people overvalue the need to have swerves/unpredictability in every match.

Tension between Sairento & Incognito leads to SHIP getting the win.

I know this is the Silver King's B Team, but even so I feel like they don't need to be losing to comedy guys.

5th Match (20 Min Limit): Eikichi Minamoto & Dark Wolf II vs Nyan Nyan Neko Man & Junichi Matsuo

Minamoto is the top guy here, and Neko Man is the lowest so I don't really see any other way for this match to go. I still think it would make sense for Matsuo to ditch the comedy midcard gimmick and join the Temple of Tsukamoto; obviously that's not going to happen without some buildup first, but he's talented enough and I could definitely see him as a cocky heel.

Could go either way, but Blood Spider seems to be the weak link here.
