Yes Boltinho, I have one statement to make.

The Worldwide Indy Wrestling Alliance is open to all who wish to join. The three founding members are IPW, ACPW and ZEN. In August, the annual Best of The Best tag tournament happens, with each member sending a team over to.

Welcome to EMLL.

Some of you will know me from my days in the ring.

Some of you are not old enough but will have heard my family name.

I am Luis Montero.

http://imageshack.us/a/img690/4756/luismontero.jpg

My plans for EMLL are simple. Bring Lucha Libre into the 21st century.

We're going to hold singles matches the likes of which you've never seen before. El bandido is a big star down here in Mexico and he's going to show he's still got all the skill that enabled him to win the SOTBW championship 4 times (!)

Aprendiz Jr, DeCipher and Guerrero Muerto are all going to see plenty of action high up the card.

Dont expect many changes right away. Im really happy with our roster so far. Details of our first show will be announced in the next few days.

Welcome to EMLL

Welcome to the New Era of Hardcore

Think you've seen it all? All the blood and brutality you could handle.

Hardcore is a dirty word in my industry. Too many posers trying to act like big boys.

I changed hardcore once before. I won a war by myself.

I'm changing hardcore once more. It's less about weapons and making each other bleed.

Now? Now it's about the survival of the fittest. The men who can hit hard, fly fast and take you out in a variety of ways.

We are unbreakable.

http://i1342.photobucket.com/albums/o765/Wrestlesaurus_X/IPW.jpg

We are invincible.

And believe me. We've only just begun.

From the mind of The Guru...

http://i757.photobucket.com/albums/xx212/Cverse_Rerender/jhd1/TheGuru.jpg

CZCW opened its doors in 1990, and from the word go smarks and industry ‘experts’ said that the company didn’t stand a chance. However, they didn’t factor in the ‘spirit’ of the Zone. In the 23 years since, CZCW has bought exhilarating wrestling to the South-West, with a cast of wrestlers willing to put their necks on the line every night to entertain the fans. This is what allowed us to survive; this spirit earned us our spot.

But 23 years later we find ourselves operating in ever changing surroundings. IPW and GSW have bought war to the South-West, and the Zone is increasingly being dragged into their battleground.

If I had to sum up CZCW in a word, it would be – survival.

The ‘experts’ told us we didn’t stand a chance – but we survived.

People said our style didn’t suit the USA – but we survived

We’ve had our talent raided from above – but we survived.

So IPW and GSW can throw everything they’ve got at us – we WILL survive.

"FREEDOM Caribian Wrestling is one man´s ego trip." I have heard those words more times that I care to count.

http://img52.imageshack.us/img52/2073/handsomestranger.jpg

However it isn´t the full truth. Sure, Puerto Rican Power has and will be one of the top guys as long as he stays active but FCW weren´t really ever about him. It was born in order to give Puerto Ricans some wrestling to watch as other than occasion SWF or TCW visit there were no shows held in Puerto Rico. That was the reason why FCW was born and that´s the reason why we fight to keep it open.

OCC: Right I´m not good with this kind of write ups but I figured I give it a shot. Somekind of quick roster preview will follow once I get the game files.

Pro Wrestling ... You know what they say ...

But it is more than that.

Comité Internacional de Lucha Libre were set up in 2011 by the veteran luchador El Maestro, who clearly wanted to capitalise on the Mexican wrestling boom that was in full swing.

Operating as a fairly traditional lucha libre promotion, the first couple of years has seen CILL develop a roster that is a nice mix of youngsters looking to make a mark, veterans who wanted one more run, and rejects from the bigger promotions. Most notably, they have also been promoting luchadoras since their very first show, a popular move that OLLIE were to copy only months later.

An introduction to EMLL

Seeing as EMLL are one of the newer companies around and some of you may not have heard of some of the luchadors involved with the Mexican revolution the company is proud to introduce you to some of our major players:

El Bandido

http://imageshack.us/a/img41/880/elbandido2.jpg

El Bandido is one of the most famous luchadores in modern Mexican history; one of the best in-ring all-rounders lucha libre has ever known, his golden period in terms of success was between 1999 and 2005, when he was the SOTBPW champion on four separate occasions and churned out awesome matches on a near-nightly basis.

In April 2012, to the surprise of many, Bandido left MPWF in order to set up his own group, Extremo Moderno Lucha Libre (EMLL).

Aprendiz Jr

http://imageshack.us/a/img607/8813/aprendiz.jpg

Aprendiz Jr is the second man to wear the purple mask, the original Aprendiz having been his father. A solid worker, Aprendiz Jr is probably best known for his Whiplash finisher (a cool-looking flying flip neckbreaker). Foll

DeCipher

http://imageshack.us/a/img59/3088/decipher21.jpg

A solid, muscular 235lber, DeCipher is an old-school technician, using fluid chain wrestling and an array of holds to wear down his opponents, rather than the flashy high flying of many luchadores. Recently he has landed a regular role on the EMLL roster and seems to be doing well for himself.

Snake King

http://imageshack.us/a/img713/7900/snakeking.jpg

Snake King first came to fame in MPWF, where he teamed with his elder brother and found much success in the midcard ranks. Surprisingly released out of the blue in January 2011, he adopted his new serpentine character in late 2011, and found himself picked up by El Bandido's new EMLL promotion for their debut show in April 2012.

Guerrero Muerto

http://imageshack.us/a/img829/6272/guerreromuerto.jpg

The evil-looking Guerrero Muerto is a technical wrestling machine, who got a big break in 2012 when EMLL rescued him from the independent scene with a contract offer. With a great look (a full black and white body suit with scary red eyes), excellent skills, and the ability to work a crowd, Guerrero Muerto could be the group's first breakout star.

La Estrella

http://imageshack.us/a/img812/3436/laestrella.jpg

La Estrella is a luchador who is being tipped to achieve great things. A natural athlete, he flies around the ring with a lot of grace, and has some incredibly flashy high-risk dives in his arsenal. He plays the heelish character of a wrestler who has let fame go to his head and believes he is a mega-star, which has gotten him the nickname "The Hollywood Luchador".

Anarchist

http://imageshack.us/a/img801/6881/anarchist.jpg

Anarchist is a luchador who has a solid skill base and is extremely reliable in the ring. His first big break came in 2012 when he was signed by EMLL, making his debut on their very first show. He is known for using a version of the Boston Crab as a finisher, although he calls it the Anarchist's Dream.

Ramon Delgado

http://imageshack.us/a/img651/9962/ramndelgado.jpg

Ramón Delgado is a lucha libre colour commentator. He is known for having been one half of EMLL's broadcast team (alongside Hector Moreno) since the promotion debuted in April 2012.

Luis Montero

http://imageshack.us/a/img690/4756/luismontero.jpg

Luis Montero is a legendary figure in Mexico, respected as one of the greatest true all-rounders of all time. He is closely associated with MPWF, and may be the greatest wrestler in that promotion's history - he captured the MPWF championship on a record shattering seven different occasions. He was also one of the few luchadores to have success north of the border, starring for California Pro Wrestling too. He was retired in 2000 with a knee injury and now works as a road agent, in recent years particularly for his close friend El Bandido's EMLL group where he is also head booker.

Right, here is the promised roster review and my first impression of the roster.

http://img696.imageshack.us/img696/38/fcwy.jpg

Roster:

Main event:

Billy Russell F

Handsome Stranger H

Hell´s Bouncer H

Puerto Rican Power F

Upper Midcard:

Bradford Peverell F

Leper Messiah H

Mainstream Hernandez F

Titan H

Midcard:

Carlos Gonzalez F

Hector Galindo H

Jesus Chavez H

Kirk Jameson F

Rudy Velasquez H

The Sensational Singh F

Lower Midcard:

Kid San Juan F

King Kong Kennedy H

Matt Hocking F

Ox Mastadon H

Openers:

Island Boy Apollo F

Rob Reynolds H

First thing that I noted was that all luchadores, Natural Storm and Shawn Gonzalez are gone from 2010 and the replacement guys aren´t that great either but it still looks like solid group of guys and there is a nice balance on faces and heels in all card positions. The biggest problem that I could see is that there is little bit lack of skill on the top heels side with Messiah and Titan being essentially number three and four guys. Other than Rudy, the midcard heels aren´t that great either and there is even less help at the bottom so some talent on the heel side seems to be in order. Luckily top face guys all are either young guys who are quite skilled (Peverell, Hernandez and Jameson) or are really over (Russell and PRP) so they should be able to carry others to good matches. Add Sensational Singh, Matt Hocking and Carlos Gonzalez (mainly because of storyline potential thanks to Shawn) and top face side is pretty well set. More jobbers would be needed though but that´s easy position to fill. Tag team wise I could use more teams but there´s solid foundation especially with Latino Kings and Sweet N Sour. Backstage isn´t too bad either with only three negative persons in Titan, Carlos Gonzalez and Jesus Chavez and though I would like to give all three a chance to impress me, none of them aren´t really that important and I could easily replace them if needed. So overall, even though I think that their starting roster has slightly weakened from TEW2010 it still looks good enough for me. Little help in the top heel department and few jobbers that would help the backstage rating at the same time is all that is needed. I will talk little bit more about those new signings once I actually signed them.

From The Mind Of The Guru

http://i757.photobucket.com/albums/xx212/Cverse_Rerender/jhd1/TheGuru.jpg

It would be fair to say that the last year or so has been somewhat of a rebuilding process here in CZCW. Between September 2011 and April 2012, we lost three of our top stars in little over six months. Insane Machine was the first to go, choosing to prioritise his Japanese commitments. Machine was seen as a big loss at the time, but it was only after later events that the impact of his departure was really put into context.

While Machine left us on amicable terms, the same couldn’t be said about the next man to go. Rumours had been flying around for years that both TCW and the SWF were sniffing around James Prudence, but they had actually begun to die down by November 2011. Prudence was the Coastal Zone Champion at the time, and was by all accounts doing a good job of it. In hindsight maybe we should have known that this would draw attention to him, but at the time it came as a real shock when James told me he had jumped to Supreme. Giving us only a week to hastily arrange a show for an impromptu title change, you could say he rather dropped us in it. By the time Snap Dragon left to focus on his Mexican career in April 2012, we were looking a little light at the top of the card.

2012 was spent pushing new, younger wrestlers. Masked Cougar was elevated as the new masked presence at the top of the card, replacing the departed Insane Machine & Snap Dragon. However, the men who really benefitted were the Cali Dragons, as they rose from talented young tag team to title contenders in very quick fashion. It was Mikey James who eventually got the nod, but Frankie Perez finds himself well placed to challenge for the top title, should the situation require it.

The Key Players:

http://i757.photobucket.com/albums/xx212/Cverse_Rerender/jtlant/DonnieJ_alt.jpg

Donnie J

Age: 35 (17 year pro)

The most experienced worker on the roster, and a real leader in the locker room. His long running feud with James Prudence was used to explain the sudden title switch upon Prudence’s departure, and, along with Fox Mask, Donnie held together the Main Event while younger talent was built up. The only man on the roster with ‘big league’ experience, Donnie remains a fan favourite and the most popular worker on the roster.

http://i559.photobucket.com/albums/ss39/Kamchatka863/FoxMask_kam6.jpg

Fox Mask

Age: 32 (14 year pro)

If I had to pick one man who personifies the zone, it would be Mark. Having spent his entire career in CZCW, he has reached hero status with many of our fans. Mark is still an important part of the zone Main Event, having held things together, along with Donnie J, for a few months following the loss of several top talents at the back end of 2011.

http://i757.photobucket.com/albums/xx212/Cverse_Rerender/J%20Silver/MikeyJames-1.jpg

Mikey James

Age: 26 (8 year pro)

Coastal Zone Champion

Mikey is coming off the back of a hugely successful 2012, which saw him break into the Main Event and win his first Coastal Zone Championship. He is also one half of the Cali Dragons, along with Frankie Perez, a team regarded by many as one of the best in the USA. Still only 26 he has a huge future ahead of him, we just have to hope it is here in the Zone...

http://i757.photobucket.com/albums/xx212/Cverse_Rerender/Kamchatka/MaskedCougar_kam5.jpg

Masked Cougar

Age: 29 (11 year pro)

Having risen to the Main Event on the back of two very successful years, many expect Cougar to continue his rise. The man has it all; he’s athletic, he can go in the ring and he has that ‘X factor’ that so many lack. Loved by the fans, it would be a surprise if he didn’t add to his solitary Coastal Zone Championship.

http://i757.photobucket.com/albums/xx212/Cverse_Rerender/J%20Silver/FrankiePerez-1.jpg

Frankie Perez

Age: 28 (10 year pro)

The second half of the Cali Dragons; and despite Mikey James being the man chosen to win the Coastal Zone Championship, Frankie is a great worker. The man can do it all; brawl, chain wrestle, fly and has some great submission holds. Along with his tag partner Mikey James, Frankie is another with a bright future, and again we need to hope he stays with us rather than being tempted elsewhere...

http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d105/jsilver536/RemmySkye.jpg

Remmy Skye

Age: 28 (10 year pro)

“The King Of The Ladder Match”, Remmy Skye has gotten over with the CZCW fans by putting on some incredible matches over the years. Remmy is supremely talented, but can frustrate at times with his inconsistency. He has had a quiet few years, struggling to recapture the heights of his 2008 Coastal Zone Championship win. However, he is still a key figure in the zone, and, if he can address his consistency issues, there is no reason he can’t take back his spot at the top...

-------------------------

OOC: Just a quick thank you to all the amazing people who make the alts I use. I downloaded a lot of these a while ago, so I'm sorry if I miss anyone, but thanks to Jtlant, Kamchatka & JSilver for their awesome work.

Larry Vessey

I'm very happy with the roster and looking to keep it as steady as possible without growing stale, however, with rumours of the SWF sniffing around main eventer
AND
champion
Roger Cage
, this may not be possible. Because of that I'm looking for a steady hand, who is fairly well known, to slip into the hole Cage will most likely leave us with.

Despite his less than successful history with NYCW, I think that
Travis Century
- a man not only unlikely to be approached by any of the big three but also a very, very strong talker - is the perfect stopgap while I take a closer look at who is ready to take the next step, either on the current roster or in the free agent pool.

He can certainly help the young guys, and hopefully at this slower pace he may even be around long enough that when he does finally leave, Cameron [Vessey] might be ready. He might not understand my methods right now, but Cameron will thank me that I'm not rushing him into the limelight. After all, having a famous last name isn't always a positive. He's good, but we need him to be great (there's no such think a slipping under the radar when you're a Vessey - you live or die by it,) and there is no better place for him than with Sam [Keith] in MAW.

It's all go in New York City - this is the capital of the world, there's no time for "pet projects", you're either ready, established or you're out of here!

Monday Week 1 2013

In front of a crowd of 2,000 (Grissom Auditorium)

Commentary Team:

George Wolfe vs Xtreme Champion Air Attack Weasel

  • We kick off 2013 with the Xtreme Champion in action against George Wolfe, who is representing MAW as part of the COTT alliance.
  • The match will be a non-title contest, as Wolfe is ineligible to compete for the Xtreme title (weight restriction).
  • George Wolfe came into the match with a size advantage, but struggled to cope with the speed of the Xtreme Champion.
  • Weasel literally flies around the ring as he overwhelms his opponent with a series of aerial manoeuvres, before hitting the Air Attack Ace to pick up the win in quick time.

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Air Attack Weasel defeated George Wolfe in 5:51 by pinfall with an Air Attack Ace.

Rating: D

Anderson:“An impressive start to the year from our Xtreme Champion, as he defeats George Wolfe, one of the brightest young talents coming out of MAW.”

The Guru:: “Sam Keith runs them hard down in MAW. Weasel’s done well to come out of this one with the win.”

Anderson:“Weasel’s on a roll, carrying all that momentum from his title win last month.”

The Guru: “No doubt Air Attack Weasel will be looking to carry that momentum into his first title defence next month at Vendetta...”

http://i757.photobucket.com/albums/xx212/Cverse_Rerender/J%20Silver/BritneyHollywood_alt.jpgw/ http://i757.photobucket.com/albums/xx212/Cverse_Rerender/jtlant/DonnieJ_alt.jpghttp://www2.picturepush.com/photo/a/6229145/1024/CZCW/VS.jpghttp://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff5/bennyd81/RTG/CZCW/TheAmericanFlash_zpsbdac3558.jpg

Donnie J w/ Britney Hollywood vs The American Flash

  • Donnie J comes into this match on the back of a strong 2012, where he held the title for over half the year before losing the belt to Mikey James in August.
  • The American Flash on the other hand comes into 2013 with far less momentum, as his career has stagnated somewhat since the departure of his mentor Insane Machine. Could the luchador turn things around here?
  • Flash started the match well, holding his own in a surprisingly technical based affair.
  • However, around the seven minute mark, Donnie raised the pace of the match and began to take the initiative. Flash tried to battle back on a couple of occasions, but Donnie used his experience to quash the youngsters efforts.
  • Just after the twelve minute mark, much to the excitement of his valet, Donnie J was able to hit Death On Miami Beach to claim the victory.

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Donnie J defeated The American Flash in 12:12 by pinfall with a Death On Miami Beach.

Rating: D

Anderson: “A momentum boosting win for Donnie J there. Maybe this will push him back into the title hunt?”

Guru: “Donnie J has been surprisingly quiet since losing the title in August last year. I know he’s widely respected backstage, but maybe he’s lost a bit of his drive?”

Anderson: “Donnie’s a top performer who’s been doing this for years. He’s probably just biding his time. Either way, he knows what he’s doing.”

Guru: “This industry waits for no one. If Donnie wants to get back into the title hunt he needs to do so pronto!”

Going Coastal © vs Rich & Famous

Coastal Zone Tag Team Titles

  • These two teams know each other well, having faced each other on a number of occasions over the past couple of years. It was only two months ago that Going Coastal won their titles from Rich & Famous.
  • This match starts at a quick pace, with Going Coastal utilising quick tags and some nice double team moves to stay on top of the challengers.
  • However, Jordan & Idol manage to battle their way back into the contest by turning it into somewhat of a brawl, throwing heavy strikes to try and slow the champions assault.
  • Jordan & Idol are able to stay on top for a while, but their ambition to become the first ever 4 time Coastal Zone Tag champs is ended, at least for now, by an LAX Departure (Super Kick) from nowhere from California Love Machine.

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Going Coastal defeated Rich And Famous in 11:43 when California Love Machine defeated Jake Idol by pinfall with a LAX Departure. Going Coastal make defence number 2 of their Coastal Zone Tag Team titles.

Rating: D-

Anderson: “Another good performance from this young tag team to knock of the experienced duo of Jake Idol & Jackpot Jordan.”

Guru: “You can tell Jordan & Idol are disappointed, but once again these Going Coastal kids have shown they can stand shoulder to shoulder with one of the most experienced teams the zone has to offer. I predict big things in these young men’s futures.”

Waylon Walls & Jonnie Perez vs Notorious

  • This one was promoted as a “Future of the Zone” showcase match, but everyone knew that was just the official terminology for “bathroom break”.
  • Both teams get a chance to show off some offence in this one, and it’s Jonnie Perez who probably makes the best of the opportunity. He may not be as talented as his brother, but if Jonnie can work on his consistency he could secure himself a nice spot in our midcard for a long time to come.
  • This one doesn’t run too long, and it’s Jonnie who gets the win with a Triple-Jump Tornado DDT.

In an extremely poor match, Waylon Walls and Jonnie Perez defeated Notorious in 7:46 when Jonnie Perez defeated Carlos Barrera by pinfall with a Triple-Jump Tornado DDT.

Rating: E

Guru: “Jonnie Perez with the win there... and next up his brother Frankie, who will be facing the ‘Birdman’ Matt Sparrow.”

Anderson: “Frankie Perez has been impressive lately. You have to wonder if he’s been inspired by his tag partner winning the Coastal Zone Championship?”

Guru: “Some men would react negatively to their tag team partner winning ‘the big one’, we’ve seen it happen many times over the years, but not Frankie. He seems to have taken it as inspiration to make himself even better.”

Anderson: “Let’s see if he can keep things going against the ‘Birdman’”

Frankie Perez vs Matt Sparrow

  • With his usual tag partner now holding the Coastal Zone Championship, Frankie Perez has found himself working an increased amount of singles matches over the past six months, and for the most part has carried himself very well.
  • Facing Perez this month was experienced Zoner Matt Sparrow. While Sparrow’s CZCW career couldn’t be described as a disappointment, he has never managed to reach the heights some expected of him when he initially joined the roster.
  • This one starts slowly, with the two men engaging in a series of chain wrestling. While both men put some nice sequences together, neither is able to maintain an advantage.
  • Sensing things aren’t going his way, Frankie Perez starts utilising more and more strikes to try and seize the initiative. This tactic proves successful, as a series of strikes and kicks swamps Sparrow.
  • Sparrow tries to regroup, but is powerless to resist as Perez nails the P-Clutch Suplex (Cobra Clutch Suplex) to ensure the victory.

In a bout that had solid in-ring action and average heat, Frankie Perez defeated Matt Sparrow in 12:04 by submission with a P-Clutch.

Rating: D+

Anderson: “Another solid showing there from Frankie Perez, as he continues his run of impressive performances over the past few months.”

Guru: “There’s no doubt that Frankie has really raised his game recently. He is one of a number of guys who will be looking to put themselves in contention for the Coastal Zone Championship in the coming months.”

Anderson: “With Frankie Perez and Donnie J, as well as guys like Fox Mask, Remmy Skye, Marc Speed and Masked Cougar all trying to battle their way up to the Main Event, Mikey James needs to keep himself sharp.”

http://i757.photobucket.com/albums/xx212/Cverse_Rerender/J%20Silver/Willow.jpgw/http://i757.photobucket.com/albums/xx212/Cverse_Rerender/J%20Silver/AlColeman-1.jpghttp://i757.photobucket.com/albums/xx212/Cverse_Rerender/J%20Silver/MarcSpeed.jpghttp://www2.picturepush.com/photo/a/6229145/1024/CZCW/VS.jpghttp://i559.photobucket.com/albums/ss39/Kamchatka863/FoxMask_kam6.jpghttp://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d105/jsilver536/RemmySkye.jpg

Shoot Club w/ Willow vs Zone Out

  • A real clash of styles here, with Shoot Club look to keep the pace of the match slow using their submission holds and chain wrestling, as Zone Out seemingly fly around the ring.
  • It is the high octane offense of Remmy Skye which initially finds success, as the Shoot Club boys struggle to get near him in the early goings.
  • However, a yank on Remmy’s long hair by Al Coleman finally slows him down. From here, frequent tags allow Shoot Club to gain some measure of control.
  • Shoot Club beat on Skye for over five minutes, until Skye is finally able to tag in Fox Mask. Fox Mask, as the fresh man, flies into the ring and quickly takes control of the match.
  • Al Coleman, the illegal man, tries to jump Fox Mask from behind, but is sent sprawling over the top rope. Remmy Skye is able to haul himself to his feet, and, seeing an opportunity, jumps to the outside and nails Coleman with a suicide dive, which takes both men out of the match.
  • That leaves Marc Speed alone with the much fresher Fox Mask. The two men go back and forth for a few minutes, but eventually Fox Mask’s freshness tells and the ‘King of the Zone’ is able to hit the Fox Hunter and pick up the win for his team.

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Zone Out defeated Shoot Club in 18:30 when Fox Mask defeated Al Coleman by pinfall with a Fox Hunter.

Rating: C-

Anderson: “And Fox Mask picks up the win... and how many times have I said that down the years?”

Guru: “More than I’d care to count. Fox Mask really does epitomise the Zone, and after all these years is still at the very top of his game.”

Anderson: “No doubt at all, I doubt it will be long before we see Fox Mask back in the hunt for the Coastal Zone Championship... which brings us nicely on to our Main Event...”

Mikey James © vs Masked Cougar

Coastal Zone Championship

  • Our Main Event for the evening sees Mikey James defending his Coastal Zone Championship. In the build up to the match, Cliff & The Guru play up Mikey’s rise up the ranks to become Coastal Zone Champion in August of last year.
  • Mikey’s Martial Arts background is obvious in the early goings of this match, as he lands a series of devastating kicks on his challenger.
  • However, Cougar is eventually able to weather the storm and turn things around.
  • With Cougar taking charge, the pace of the match increases as the ‘ferocious feline’ flies around the ring.
  • Despite being caught off guard by Cougar’s sudden burst of offence, James is slowly able to work his way back into the match. From this point, the match goes back and forth, with both men picking up a series of near falls.
  • Eventually it is Masked Cougar who makes the mistake, as a missed Missile Dropkick creates an opening for the champion to hit the Dragon Whip and retain his title.

In a bout that had a good crowd and good action, Mikey James defeated Masked Cougar in 19:46 by pinfall with a Dragon Whip. Mikey James makes defence number 3 of his Coastal Zone Championship title.

Rating: C+

Anderson: “Missile Dropkick from Cougar... no! James ducks it! Mikey James setting him up now, and that’s it the Dragon Whip.”

Guru: “That’s defence number 3 for Mikey James. Cougar troubled him at times in that match, but the Champ had enough to pull through.”

Anderson: “Ladies and gentlemen thank you for joining us tonight at the Grissom Auditorium. I’ve been Cliff Anderson bringing you CZCW Revolution, along with my partner on commentary the Guru. We hope to see you back next month for Vendetta.”

Nice show, I find it difficult booking promotions with little to no angles, and even more difficult keeping it interesting but the show was very good and with the commentators and the bullet points giving a bit of background it felt like much more than just match 1, match 2, match 3...

Can't wait to see what everyone else brings :)

Not great in terms of grades but we're happy enough. I wanted to use Jan as a setup to see where we are and plan from there.

Turns out Bandido is The Man and we need to get him on screen LOADS more. And Luis Montero of course.

Aside from that Guerrero Muerto seems the real deal and Pyromaniac was a pain backstage.

Looking forward to seeing the other companies shows and considering joinging one of the alliances...

BTW - I know the show is too brief. I'll be doing better ones in the future when I've got more time!

Yeah I was worried about the lack of angles in CZCW, but hopefully the little announcer bits can help fill in any gaps in my thinking. I'm glad this is up and running, and can't wait to see what everyone else does.

This.

And nice show. I love CZCW but the lack of angles is tricky at first. I see it the same asIm going to try and do it in EMLL. Using the 3/4 angles per show to try and raise up 2nd-level workers to be legit threats for my 4/5 real stalwarts.

Cant wait to see what everyone else is going to do. Some of the IPW signings look great

You've got some great talent there Jingo.

Sadly as a bunch of throwbacks stuck in the last century we at EMLL refuse to acknowledge that any of your cavemen could be useful in a modern company like ours and will therefore be shattering their dreams by not hiring them (any time soon).
