Using capital and savvy business practice (the exact thing the other two older lucha libre promotions lacked) they quickly established their own lucha stars or bought famous faces (El Fuerza) turning them into lucha stars. Of course the rise of South of the Border Pro Wrestling can be quickly explained due to the omnipresence of one man Antonio Maxi Marquez, also known as Antonio Ramoray or Champagne Lover. This man took his athletic gifts and became one of the greatest wrestlers in the world long before he took his god given looks to gain a guest spot (which then became a returning character) on one of the most popular soap operas in Mexico - The Young and The Fearless. He then took his new found sliver of fame and combined that with the charisma that oozed out of his pores to bring himself to what seemed he was born to become - An Entertainment Icon. With the continuous soap opera gig he then added movie spots which then became supporting roles before finally starring in his own series of action films (Tequila Sunrise I - II & III). He even had a catchy if somewhat off beat pop song "They Call Me the Lover". Despite all this, it was always considered extracurricular activities as if it had all been and always been just stuff to do in between matches. OLLIE is the oldest promotion on the planet turning 58 this year. A true OLLIE fan has seen it all. For the true OLLIE fan I am sure it feels like it has been around forever and would be around forever, so when the upstart SOTB started turning heads... it didn't turn yours. Probably hard to turn your head any way with all the arthritis everywhere. There is a character that has preformed in OLLIE for two generations now. I am speaking of course of the character Extraordinario. Senior tore it up in OLLIE during the late 60's, throughout the 70's, into the early 80's. He was also one of the very few luchadors to take their talents outside of the country and make a mark. Not only did he wrestle on some the Supreme Wrestling Federations earliest shows, but he also went to Japan and had a series of legendary matches with the original Elemental during his first Super Junior championship reign. A couple years ago, the son - Extraordinario Jr. made his lucha libre professional debut and it wasn't soon after that he found himself walking the same halls that his dad made famous. He felt honored to be living in his father's footsteps. He felt privilege and loyalty to the be making his name in the oldest promotion on the planet.</span></div></div> </div></div></div><div class="" style="padding:0 5px;overflow:hidden;"><div id="divSec6" class=""><div id="divSecHandle6" class="" style="height: 18px; cursor: n-resize;"></div><div id="fixedtextblock0sec6" class="" style="clear: both; position: relative; padding: 5px; margin: 5px 0px; height: auto; border: 1px solid transparent;"> <div id="fixedtext0sec6" class="" style="font-size: 16px; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; display: block;"><div><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k269/thej28/Extraordinario_zps4db5dd60.jpg" alt="" height="150" width="150"><br><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 20px;">In the end of 2011 and through out 2012 SOTB due to part Champagne Lover astounding rise, as well as the complete inability of their competition to grow, South of the Border rapidly distanced themselves from their counterparts in terms of popularity. So much so in fact, that they became the first Nationally ranked lucha promotion since OLLIE height in the 70's. In doing so, they quickly began signing all of the most popular lucha libre stars no matter in which promotion they gained such high regard to guaranteed, written, highly lucrative contracts. After this happened, once you sifted through the ashes that once was, Mexico's Premiere Wrestling Federation name itself was an oxymoron and Original Lucha Libre Is Eternal seemed quite mortal after all. Despite this, as we all know and remember the Carnival barkers famous words of the sport we love that will reside with us forever "The show must go on!" rang true, and those that remained put on their tights, strapped on their masks and put on the show. It might not have been the same show that was seen the same time the year before. With new faces or newly regained pushes of those that had previously lost favor to make room for those now at-temptingly forgotten, but who’s choice of actions will always be remembered.</span></div></div> </div></div></div><div class="" style="padding:0 5px;overflow:hidden;"><div id="divSec7" class=""><div id="divSecHandle7" class="" style="height: 18px; cursor: pointer;"></div><div id="fixedtextblock0sec7" class="" style="clear: both; position: relative; padding: 5px; margin: 5px 0px; height: auto; border: 1px solid transparent;"> <div id="fixedtext0sec7" class="" style="font-size: 16px; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; display: block;"><div><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 20px;">One man of highly regarded talent and bloodline also received overtures from SOTBPW. Of course, I am talking about the man that this story revolves around. Unfortunately for SOTB but fortunately for us, Extraordinario had promises from Phoenix that he would soon be showcased, pushed hard and given every opportunity to succeed. Figuring if he accepted he would just be wrestling pre-show matches against rookies it wasn't really a difficult decision for the man to make. He was here for a higher purpose than money and had every intention to remain in OLLIE. Unfortunately, his employer Joaquin Soler when receiving the news that his young up and comer had been courted by his enemy reacted.. well... Extraordinarily. When you think about it, after seeing star after star that your company had created, given life too and made, turn around and leave his actions don't seem so peculiar. Despite the fact that Extraordinario Jr. did not and made clear that he had not made any promises to SOTB, the previously promised highly touted matches with main event caliber opponents and quick push up the card was not to be. With the thought that if they had went through with the plans and pushed Extraordinario the Second to the moon then he would just be more popular and more experienced and more of a loss for the company when he did leave and join South of the Border. So, in its stead Extraordinario remained in opening matches quickly realizing that his chances of success here at the home of his father... was nil. So, when his contract with OLLIE was up and chosen by both sides not to be renewed... the young talent walked not out the front door with glory and championship reigns in front of the paparazzi cameras going POP!, but out the back door walking out into the night without glory without a plan and without living up to the legacy that was his birthright.</span></div></div> </div></div></div><div class="" style="padding:0 5px;overflow:hidden;"><div id="divSec8" class=""><div id="divSecHandle8" class="" style="height: 18px; cursor: n-resize;"></div><div id="fixedtextblock0sec8" class="" style="clear: both; position: relative; padding: 5px; margin: 5px 0px; height: auto; border: 1px solid transparent;"> <div id="fixedtext0sec8" class="" style="font-size: 16px; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; display: block;"><div><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 20px;">We are not gonna lie to you, the first thing he did was what anyone would do. Make a phone call. He had to see if the offer was still on the table. It was... for 1/4 of the previously promised earning percentage. You see, despite being the same talent he was no longer working for the competition which meant he was worth a lot less to them. He again politely rebuffed. He reacted quickly jumping back on his feet with a tryout match for MPWF. I am told by those that were at the card that his pre-show tryout match was one of the best matches on the entire card, however for some reason a contract was not offered. Not to be discouraged he signed on for a handful of matches for the new CILL as well as a try out match for the new EMLL. The matches for CILL were great. Extraordinario enjoyed himself and secretly hoped that he and El Maestro could come up with a contract agreement. The match for EMLL was less enjoyed perhaps however it did introduce Extraordinario to a new force, Modernized Lucha Libre. El Bandido had taken apart the traditional lucha libre match and instead threw away the time waste of wear down holds and fan interaction instead making his matches just a sequence of moves leading to a high spot before being repeated. He then chose to do so with the inclusion of a cult like anything can happen atmosphere making EMLL like no other promotion on the planet. This fact was highly respected by Extraordinario (and would influence him later). In the end though neither promotion offered Extraordinario a long term contract and the man found himself in a place he had promised himself he would never return... the Mexican Independents.</span></div></div> </div></div></div><div class="" style="padding:0 5px;overflow:hidden;"><div id="divSec9" class=""><div id="divSecHandle9" class="" style="height: 18px; cursor: n-resize;"></div><div id="fixedtextblock0sec9" class="" style="clear: both; position: relative; padding: 5px; margin: 5px 0px; height: auto; border: 1px solid transparent;"> <div id="fixedtext0sec9" class="" style="font-size: 16px; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; display: block;"><div><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 20px;">A couple independent promoters had been in contact and the details were being worked out when one day Extraordinario took off the mask and looked at the man in the mirror. He looked hard at the man beneath the mask. Of course, without the man the goal of making the mask what it once was - is impossible. He then realized that going down the current path would make the goal just as impossible as if he took off the mask and never wore it again. On that day, it was almost the death of Extraordinario. If the last step was a leap the next would be a climb. What exactly was the next move? It was decided that even before the preforming roster was considered that we had to find our voice. A voice backstage, a voice in between the ropes, and the voices that will entertain the masses and call the matches. When it came to in ring performers, regulations had been given to ensure that his promotion was ran the right way, from the very beginning. Not to fall for the temptation to overspend or to rely completely on over the hill wrestlers who may have a little name recognition. Unlike those that preformed in side the squared circle no such regulations were had when it came to commentators, road agents, or referees. With the utmost importance on experience together for the announcing table, the gaining of the same for the referee chosen, and the attribute already being had for the road agent; it was decided to begin the search by looking at other promotions to see what talent may be available and which may be right for the League of Extraordinary Wrestlers.</span></p></div></div> </div></div></div><div style="padding:0 5px;overflow:hidden;" id=""><div id=""><div style="height: 18px; cursor: n-resize;"></div><div style="clear: both; position: relative; padding: 5px; margin: 5px 0px; height: auto; border: 1px solid transparent;"> <div style="font-size: 16px; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; display: block;"><div id=""><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k269/thej28/EMLL_zps09b880e3.jpg" alt="" height="40" width="500" id=""><br id=""><p id=""><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 20px;" id="">As we are the second promotion to declare ourselves Modernized Lucha Libre, we begin our search in the promotion where it started - Extreme Modern Lucha Libre. EMLL is very different to everything else going in Lucha Libre including ourselves. Started in April 2012 by the legendary El Bandido, he hoped to catch some of the after-shaving reminiscence of the soaring popularity of SOTB. He had this vision of reworking lucha libre to what is at its core. Good Guys (Tecnicos) versus Bad Guys (Rudos) and doing so in the classic video game module very similar to Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat. It would always be one on one – the battle of two men. Forget tag teams or trios matches, you would not find it here. He would completely take out the first few rows of chairs where the usual highest priced ticket holders would be sitting and turn the wrestling arena into more of a battle set. Sometimes the place would look like a worn down abandoned warehouse all dark with dirt and worn down equipment scattered haphazardly here and there, or it would be some sort of industrial factory very noisy with steam shooting out of pipes and chains randomly hanging around, sparks shooting out of machinery. Once the inside of the building was turned into a parking lot with cars inside forming a circle with no ring and the headlights the only lights on in the entire building! The fans had to stand! No, there was no doubt that El Bandido had a vision for his promotion that would separate it from anything... ever. There is something else that is a rarity that EMLL has that no one else has (until now)... a lucha ref! Mask and all! He seemed to be the perfect fit for our little family. He was young and could grow with us gaining experience as we do. We ended up taking one more member from our brother in Modern Lucha. He is a rookie in his role, but I must say he plays the Rudo commentator well with a flare for selling the ended result of high spot crashes - <br id=""><em id="">“Anybody got any mustard?? Cause that guy is a pretzel!” “Well he no longer needs to wonder if he could ever reach... Maestro new promotion remained true to the essence of Lucha Libre. It is in fact almost a replica of his former home OLLIE with the hope that with a fresh start they could have a happier ending. Extraordinario had a soft spot for CILL, as he had fun in his short time there and not to mention the fact that El Maestro had known him since he was knee high. He competed as the original Mr. Lucha before being unmasked later in his career. The card where the famous masked was torn from his head brought the largest gate in lucha libre history at the time. Manuel Prieto title resume consists of 5x Campeon de Herencia de Mundo MPWF championships, 5x Campeon de Mundo SOTBPW championships as well as one run as OLLIE Campeon de Universal. That is only counting the major lucha libre titles won if I was to simply list the minor titles he won in the state of Texas alone it would fill a book! It is like he would be better off just reading Great Expectations to some high school class who would rather sleep anyway. That left the man in the red jogging suit. In the 1980's it became quite popular in America and the same trend would reach Mexico in the 90's to wear matching top and bottom running suits. Usually a named logo in the left corner of both the pants and the shirt would be stitched so you could “represent” whichever brand was your chosen whether it be Adidas, Reebok, Nike, British Knights WHATEVER. If you were African American you would hike up one leg to the knee for the purpose of.... well to be honest I don't know what was the purpose. Anyway, Carlos Moreno took to the style and has remained with it through the end of the century and seems to be content to be the only one on the planet trying to bring it back. He thinks it makes him “casual cool”. Underneath the casual wear however is a very capable announcer. A small time businessman would gather a themed group for a small appearance fee and the wrestler or B horror movie actors or whatever would then show up for this and also charge those enthusiasts whom had already paid an admittance charge to enter, an additional couple bucks per autograph.<br id=""> </span></p><p id=""><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 20px;" id="">It was at one of these in the southern Texas town of Dorado where an old friend seen many times before by Manuel Prieto in Texas usually in the corner of his opponents, had also signed on for the same gathering and was seated right next to Uncle Manny. His name is Boss Man Brayfield. A long time manager from Dallas, he was a very successful heel manager throughout the south in promotions such as TWL and SCCW. We had an broadcasting team, a ref, and a road agent. Understand, we had watched a card of American Luchadoras then were able to catch a sneak peek by happenstance at a match from a small company called IPW between three high flying masked men...<br id=""> </span></div><p id=""><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 20px;" id="">...and we were about to walk into a street corner war in the middle of Inglewood.</span></p><p id=""><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 20px;" id=""><br id="">Extraordinario had never heard of IPW, but of course everyone has heard of Nemesis.</span></p><p id=""><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 20px;" id=""><br id="">A star of the biggest promotion in the world the Supreme Wrestling Federation in the nineties, it seems odd to think that he really didn't make a name for himself until he got fired. Of course I am speaking of his tenure and influence in DAVE where he was a star as well as head booker. After the death of DAVE and a short hiatus, apparently he became involved with that billionaire yarn-guy and some from what I am told is a quite well know and talented rapper, to form a triad power base with the goal of bringing back Hardcore wrestling by starting fresh.</span></p><p id=""><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 20px;" id=""><br id="">Maybe we had come to the wrong place. That was the first thought of Extraordinario until Uncle Manny was able to get a sit down with the man himself. Nemesis seemed very excited that we were interested in one of his pet projects the red caped hit man Deadly Deadshot. He was a very inexperienced young man who needed ring time desperately. Just the thing we were willing to help provide. Another whom we informed him we were intrigued by, was the man that was wearing a pumpkin like hood going by the name of Babau. He was one half of a duo called The Night Terrors that had been teaming in IPW and the Southwest Independents before that. There seemed to be no reason Nemesis thought that Babau wouldn't agree to travel south of the border if we offered him a little money. It was the third guy, the one with the clown mask where our first bump in the road turned into a brick wall. Nemesis had been trying to get a hold of him for over a week to go over his next booking on the next IPW show, and he had not answered his phone or returned his messages. That is when we were informed of the nasty business that the this young upstart promotion had already found itself in. </span></p></div></div></div></div><div style="padding:0 5px;overflow:hidden;" id=""><div id=""><div style="height: 18px; cursor: n-resize;"></div><div style="clear: both; position: relative; padding: 5px; margin: 5px 0px; height: auto; border: 1px solid transparent;"> <div style="font-size: 16px; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; display: block;"><div id=""><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k269/thej28/GSW_zps599b5980.jpg" alt="" height="40" width="500" id=""></div><p id=""><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 20px;" id=""><br id="">Apparently one third of the triad power base that had formed IPW, the rapper Brother Grimm, had disagreed with the business and booking decisions and had gotten in a heated exchange with Nemesis. It was so heated that apparently the police were called and the “Glocks” or “Pieces” or “Nine's” were pulled and yet STILL Nemesis didn't kill anyone or get arrested.</span></p><p id=""> <br id=""><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 20px;" id="">It's a miracle.</span></p><p style="text-align: left;" id=""><br id=""> <span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 20px;" id="">So Brother Grimm using his club the warehouse started his own promotion Grimm SoCal Wrestling immediately declaring war on IPW and stealing talent in the process, and apparently this process hasn't stopped. Extraordinario made it clear as they are completely unknown in Mexico, he would not go over 300 PPA for either of them and the contract length would be only for 6 months. The League was in its infancy, what we needed was - let's call them “prolonged try-outs” - to see whom and what fits where and how nice it looks. You Feel Me.... oops... I guess Crenshaw Blvd grows on you.</span></p><p id=""> </p><p id=""><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 20px;" id="">Next up, you remember those independent dates that Extraordinario agreed too before he came up with the most excellent of ideas that is The League of Extraordinary Wrestlers? Well, he didn't cancel his appearance on them as he is a man of his word. So it was time for some first hand reconnaissance of the talent pool that we must choose from to find the remaining nine members of the inaugural roster. Well, in total there were three cards. All were poorly attended and each in turn was all and all... a trainwreck. He wrestled a big man by the name of El Jefe Militar whom he said was a very powerful man. He's gimmick of a traitorous AWOL military captain was very controversial given the circumstances in Northern Mexico. “The scent of truth” Extraordinario called it. The card started well with two guys whom most definitely have talent. Right away both of them were on Extraordinario “need to meet” list. Next up were two guys that may be very green... but so is money. The crazed Lunatic coming out in the straight jacket and the stitched hood was great. Actually gave me an idea straight away on what we could do with him. As for Soda, the character is very good however the generic mask needed to be worked on. It was purple and was suppose to look like soda fizz coming from the eyes, but close up they looked drawn on, and from far away it just looked like he was so cheap that he had a bunch of small holes in his mask. Love the character... he just needs help. Maybe we can help? After those two entertaining contest we were bored to freaking death for probably about an hour. It was all crap until we saw the classic Entropy who took on the exciting Hypnotiq. Or maybe they were neither classic nor exciting and just compared to the drivel that proceeded it, made it look iconic. Love the Assassins and if we ever are in need in the future of an opening level rudo tag team we should definitely give them a call. If Academia were so smart they would lose the crazy bulky hoods and just wear some sort of matrix green symbol masks or binary code across their forehead. Crazy Miguel and the Jade Lizard was next and you just can't say anything bad about either. Miguel is.. well crazy and Extraordinario liked Jade Lizard as well. Maybe the Lizard and Serpiente tag team? The next match stole the show as Delirium and Orgulloso showed why they both are two of the hottest young prospects around. The triple threat match showcased a talent trained by Uncle Manny... The Beast in the League? Your crazy. Of course the semi-main event saw a man everyone is familiar with. The main event showed what is wrong in lucha libre. I am not taking anything away from Romero or Slugg, in fact I love Slugg. I love Los Destructores those big bullies, but Romero hasn't been anything but bland since losing his Muerte mask, and Slugg is called that for a reason. Unfortunately, Charron is only out for Charron. His backstage attitude is legendary, but what most don't know is inside the ring he will sandbag throws and purposely make his opponents spots look off by laying or falling wrong. If his opponent looks bad... must mean he looks good. Right? Your not fooling us. The beginning of the undercard started with the flamboyant Flamenco and an unseen before masked man... a very cool looking masked man. His timing was WAY off, but with the right molding I think the skill may be there! As for Flamenco... yeah when nothing good to say, say nothing. Up next saw some other guy for probably the 1000% time pretending to be El Medico against a seemingly well school second coming of Brett Dodge, the original Vigilante. Extraordinario after seeing the match was ready to sign the kid on the spot, until he actually met him. His attitude stunk so bad X had to hold his nose. In the “routine” trios match we got to see some more of Crazy Miguel and Lunatic. I love those guys. They teamed with another second generation star the son of Payaso. We were unable to score that clown from Los Angeles, maybe we found a replacement? The three crazies took on a group of phantasms. The only one of the three that showed he may be League worthy was the one calling himself Wraith. Then it was time for the excess crap which watching pretty much makes you want to put a bullet in your head. One exception was a man that Extraordinario did battle with on the independent circuit back prior to his signing with OLLIE, and that is the Trickster. You have to admit the Destructores squashing the little Luna twins was enjoyable. Good thing it lasted only 4 minutes or all four would of wound up in the hospital. The Luna's for broken spines and internal injuries, Garrido would have to be admitted for massive sweat loss, and Slugg would have to be arrested for moving so slow that he made the earth reverse rotation. The next match was the main event in my opinion, despite the fact that we still had the “legendary” feuding of Rubio/Romero and the former partners turned enemies to go. We left right after the match that showcased two of the young up and coming lucha talent of the next generation Amazing Fire Fly and El Hijo Del Neutron. It was a solid match too as his opponent wasn't just some kid in a mask, but a man who's bloodline is even deeper then his own. Have we found the boss a tag team partner maybe??? Besides El Mitico however, it was just more of the same. No one not seen before or someone who didn't catch our eye then, but did so now. That about sums it up. Out of the 100 or so talent total that was there on those three evenings, they're was maybe 20 who had a shot at membership in the club most exclusive. We did our research and met with the men under the hood and explained what we about and what we would expect of them. We would like to thank all the young men whom were interviewed and expressed interested in joining the League of Extraordinary Wrestlers. Unfortunately, we were only looking for twelve performers total and Extraordinario politely informed everyone that if they did not get a phone call with a contract offer to not discourage; keep training and following your dream and one day you will reach your goal.</span></p><p id=""> </p><p id=""><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 20px;" id="">It's a little sappy, but what you suppose to say? This could have been their one shot and for whatever reason they came up lacking. Do to reasons unknown he was raised by his grandfather in southern Texas whom paid for his initial training. During his first run on the EXTREMELY small independent shows that crisscrossed the Rio Grande, as an unmasked heel, he played a sneaky crafty rudo whom cheated his way through matches trying to break every rule in the book to gain victory though always coming up a little short. At this time due to his actions in and around ringside he was given the elementary moniker of “The Snake”. After a half nelson and a lot of respect given to the young man, Prieto simply asked why the young man was sneaking into the arena to watch the matches instead of doing the right thing and paying. Instead of giving the normal story that Prieto expected to hear about how his parents didn't approve or didn't give him enough pesos or the sob story that his parents were deceased or homeless without money... the young purple beast simply said “I had to watch”. From that moment on the young 14 year old was the student of the best in the game. Now as an adult as you expect from a Prieto student he has the basics down and the talent to go far. Here he met El Bandido who was a performer for MPWF at the time and when Bandido started his own promotion and needed a color commentator who could sell his product he thought of the ad man Ramon Delgado. Not only did Delgado pick up his new duties quickly he excelled at them. Unfortunately, the last fall was interrupted when the partner of the Lord of the Flies opponent, forgotten under the ring showed himself once again. As Fly was on the top rope about to even up the match at 1 fall a piece, Tricky slid out from under the ring and knocked Fly off the ropes landing hard and unevenly on to the mat. Not long after and a Cobra Twist later, victory was dishonorably earned.<br id=""></span><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 20px;" id=""><br id="">After the win, both Generic Super Villains attacked Fire Fly giving him boots and forearms until our masked official put himself in harms way by jumping onto the fallen and prone Fire Fly. This did little to deter the Super Villains though, only giving them another victim. After the Super Villains pummeled both the ref and Fly out of the ring, Serpiente grabbed a microphone as Trickster squatted in a corner giggling. With an pronounced elongated lisp, Serpiente declared himself with his victory the number one contender for the Chosen VILLAIN championship. If the Xtraordinary 1 was more than ordinary he would accept a duel. Once again the Great X showed there was a reason why he was El Presidente, beloved, and everyone's Chosen Hero, and why Jefe... wasn't. Instead he was out in the desert elements, sleeping with other dudes, plotting the unattainable... being the Pinky to the Brainless. In duel match ups, our champion X with his partner El Mitico Jr. collectively known as Bloodline Redux will take on his challenger and his partner Trickster collectively known as Generic Super Villains. After this battle, the number one contender El Serpiente will get his chance at delivering on his promise. He has sworn, that after the tag match the Extraordinary 1 will not be up to the task to compete with the speed of the snake and will relinquish the Chosen Hero championship to him. At this time he will declare the belt renamed, as the Chosen Villain Championship... it doesn't have the same ring too it...</span></p><p id=""> </p><p id=""><span style="font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 20px;" id="">In other championship news, our Collective Duo Champions the Man Beast Mon Stars of Matamoros have issued an open challenge. After dominating the tournament to declare themselves the first ever title holders and the subsequent destruction of their current only two regular tag team challengers last month in a three way match, they claim that no one can take their titles from them. This leads to a dilemma here at the offices of The League. For all we know the two open challengers could end up being two of the drunken mainstays at Bar Juarez, so their for we CAN NOT sanction this match. Of course the opposite could be the case, and two men come in to compete and the Mon Stars overconfidence could be their very downfall... and a surprise new collective champions could be declared.
