Thanks a lot Lloyd honored to have you nominate it :) Just saw your post and realised my title says 1997 (don't know what I was thinking when I chose that considering the game started in December of 97), I'm in the process of asking to get it changed.

;) no problem at all sir... I think the 1997 bit breaks up the initials you have in "WCW/nWo 1997 by NWAvsWWF" - can you change your title then? Mine is terrible! haha :)

 

Not sure if you can change it but there's no harm in asking, and if I can not sure what I'll change it to but just gotta get rid of 1997 considering we nearing mid 98 now.

I remember immediately regretting the name to my Dawn of an Era diary so good luck, although personally I don't think the 1997 part is bad. It's like I'm currently planning something based around WWE in 2006 and I plan on using 2006 in the name. Even if you get much further than that, it's good to know the starting point.

Thanks and good to have you reading again Mich, just checked out your EC PPV, great show and very well written! Not sure if you've managed to catch up on anything yet but just to make it easier this is the Post where the diary re-started.

 

Well, you technically started it at the end of 1997, so it's not THAT bad... if anything, maybe change to 1997-1998?

 

I've asked to have it changed to 'WCW/nWo At the Apex' since that was the title of my first post backstory/catch up if that can't be done I'll either just remove the year or go with 97-98 like you said.

Yeah the 97 doesn't bother me much but I suppose it might be complicated for new readers who may think we're a year behind. Anyway looking forward to your WWE 2006 diary, how long until it will be on the boards?

Just discovered this dynasty and although I'm not a fan of real life diaries, this one is really good!

Thanks and yeah glad it got changed, haha not giving anything away but considering your first picks were just your favorites there pretty good so I'm sure you'll be fine.

 

Just discovered this dynasty and although I'm not a fan of real life diaries, this one is really good!

 

I followed WCW during this period, so it's a blast from the past for me... very nice!

 

Thanks for reading and joining in with predictions, WCW was great around 97/98, wish I was old enough to understand how good it was back then but not too long ago I watched all of 96, 97 and some of 98 and that was the main reason for me doing this dynasty.

Hope Bulldog picks the win up, I'm a massive mark for him. The Giant needs to continue to look strong, Bagwell won't look bad losing to him, and will easily get his heat back. Goldberg will continue his streak, and I think Raven will go over Mongo to maybe lead to a return match later on down the line. Outsiders need to beat Harlem Heat, to keep them dominating.

Question for readers: Just wondering whether you think there should be predictions for Thunder? Although still being an 'A' show and it having the same write up format as Nitro, it's still the secondary show and with it only having 3-4 matches on due to it being an hour long I was thinking leave predictions to Nitro and PPV's and just post Thunder, just wondering what you guys think though?
